I have visited this restaurant many times and ordered food for take out. Always same taste and quantity. Good quantity for the price. This is one of the best place for Great tasting Indian food in the town. No matter what time you order, provide great customer service.

Delicious, fresh, tasty dishes prepared to your taste. The chef added exactly the right amount of hot peppers for my spiciness tolerance. Perfect! Service was impeccable. Portions were very adequately sized and well priced. Large dining room modestly fitted. Absolutely worth the 10 minutes walk from downtown to grab lunch there. I'm still in awe of the perfect chewiness of the naan bread.

Good Indian Cuisine in Saskatoon - Good quite place to have a peaceful and good meal. I wouldn't really call this a child friendly place but usually there would not be many dine-in customers and you can expect ample of space in the dining area. Quality and potion of food was good and moderately priced. A good soulful music could really help having a good dinning experience in Saskatoon. If you are food lover and want to try out some of the Indian dishes, try this out. They have vegetarian food options as well (mostly gravy and breads).

We ordered from here off of Uber Eats and the flavours were absolutely delicious. Good portions and the food was still hot when it got here. Perfectly authentic! The only thing I was wondering is if it’s possible to get it a little less spicy, but wonderful otherwise!

Excellent food. I had the lamb curry with Saffron rice. Portion was just right with good rich spicey flavor. The service was a little slow, with one waiter and 3 tables one of which was a big group. However, he was very nice and polite. I would still go there again.

Honestly Angeethi is my favourite Indian food restaurant in Saskatoon. We have dined in on multiple occasions. Every time we have been greeted by the owner and asked about how the food and our experience was. They care so much about customer service and it shows. Service always comes with a smile. More recently we have been ordering take out, either from Skip the Dishes or pickup directly from the restaurant. Skip the dishes takes quite awhile (but that's generally the norm for delivery) we called for pickup and were told 10-15 minutes, which was spot on. Their food is authentic and so tasty! I really don't see us ordering from anywhere else in the city because we have had nothing but good experiences and delicious food. If you are looking to try a new Indian restaurant or want a reliable take out spot this place is definitely for you. I couldn't say enough good things about them! For those who are curious what we order: I almost always get butter chicken "medium" which, probably to people who aren't accustomed to spice, is REALLY spicy (I need to point out that I love that they make their food authentically spicy!), and this is perfect for me, my boyfriend either orders lamb korma or goat curry and he's obsessed with spicy food so he gets his extra spicy (which I would not recommend if you cannot tolerate spicy food well). Sometimes my butter chicken is spicier or thinner than other times, but I'm not going to be picky about it because I love this place and I love the food!

Saskatoon doesn't have many subcontinental restaurants. From that perspective, it's not bad. I ate buffet. The number of items/choices is low. Foods are okay. The stuffs are the best! The environment is also good to hang out with friends and family.

One of Saskatoon's best kept secrets. This no frills, locally owned restaurant has amazing food and you can eat your fill at the buffet for under $20. Like Spicy Time, the restaurant that was previously there before moving downtown, this place serves delicious Indian and Pakistani dishes that are rich and flavorful without being heavy. The spice is more to the sweet side than hot, so even if you're more of a meat and potatoes traditionalist you'll probably still find many things you like.

Limited choices on the buffet, but for what is there, it's probably the best buffet I've had! Everything is hot, fresh and tasty! Staff seem great and the buffet didnt seem to ever be out of anything. Will go again for sure! Price seems on par with every other all you can eat as well. Did not try their take-out, but will be in the near future.

I love this Indian restaurant so much! The owners are so lovely and very friendly. The food is AMAZING. I love the decor and the plates/saucers/tea cups, etc. I went here for the first time for my friend’s mom’s birthday as she is a regular because she loves it, and now I’m obsessed - it’s now my go to if I want to go out for a meal. It is a bit far away from where I live but for good food, distance doesn’t matter. It has such a home vibe to it, I feel like I’m at a friend’s house for dinner.

Ordered through skip the dishes. Ordered schezuan beef. Just two spoons of shredded beef and lots of broccoli and carrot. For 15.99, I didn’t get beef, I got vegetables. Disappointed because I loved urban spice from my earlier orders.

Buffet is reasonably priced. Goat curry wasn't well cooked. This is a common mistake by many east Indian restaurants. They keep Beef in the Buffet. Cow is considered a sacred animal in India. Still some east Indian restaurants include them in Buffet. They can keep the beef little away from the buffet line to honor that feeling. As they don't keep pork in the Buffet (which Muslims don't like) how about at least keep the beef little away?

Very nice and helpful staff. They do care about your preference. I went there and asked for food with no chilli and they brought the food as I want (unlike other Indian restaurants that apologize for adding chili even when I insist to have no chili).

I've only been here twice, but seriously I should come more often and I will. Great service and the food is amazing. Small detail not being picky or anything, my mother loved the food but she says she wished the buffet outlined the names of each dish so she knew what she was trying.

I come in for the lunch buffet fairly often, which always has a good variety of items. Everyone's very nice there, and the food is satisfying and comforting. Spicy Bite is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in town.

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered food on a Sunday. The food was ordered at 2:02AM. I called when I hadn't receivers my order in 2 HOURS. They assured me it was on its way. Another half hour passed and I called again asking where my food was and again they said it had already left and should be there in a few minutes. After it being 4:15AM I called very upset that I had not received my food. They assured me a refund would be given and my food would be delivered. It is now 5:30AM, the store is closed, and I still have not received my food. This place is ridiculous. I have never had to complain about service like this before. I am very upset with how unprofessional they work.

I ordered delivery through Skip. The food was good. However, it took 2 HOURS to get the food. TWO WHOLE HOURS. According to the Skip website, the food was going to take 30-50 min, but when I actually put in the order, it showed estimate time of 50 to 80 minutes. I ordered at approximately 12:20 AM and about 5 minutes later, they phoned me saying they are out of beef biryani, which I ordered 2 of. So I cancelled one and switched the other one to mutton. Then I didn't hear anything for a long time so I phone them at around 1:40 AM. They said they had trouble with the delivery car and that they had to remake the food. This is the part that got me EXTREMELY UPSET. If such thing were to happen, the right thing to do as a restaurant is to phone the customer and see if they still want the order. I am sure they would not have told me if I did not phone. Anyway, I asked how much longer the food was going to take, they said 15 to 20 minutes. So I waited again. The food did not arrive 25 minutes after the phone call so I phoned them for the second time, and they said the food should be here soon. This was at approx. 2:05 AM and the food did not get here til 2:23. I will never put in a delivery order with them ever, but may go to dine in as the food was good. In summary, I am very disappointed with their level of customer service. I would like to go in to see how their in-house service is.

Worst Service ever. Never had such a bad experience. I ordered food from skip the dishes and they literally took 2 hours to deliver my order. I called at store and they kept on saying that the delivery guy has already left. I mean like seriously you guys need to work on this. This is hell crazy. It was 1am and you guys still can’t deliver on time.

Ordered from them once, paid $40 for a large pizza that wasn’t even filling and it was dry and small and for a order of onion rings which I only got 6 small rings. Not worth it. The lady on the phone was completely rude and kept hanging up on me and was rushing me, I wanted to order again last night to give it another go but they did not answer the phone once, quiet a few times I was hung up on. They do not open and close at the originated times. Meg’s does not deserve even a star. The delivery guy was nice tho, super sweet!

This restaurant does not have a location even but they still claim they have and makes lots of people fall into their trap. Lots of fake reviews around here giving 4 to 5 star. Try calling them and ask about to come to pick up order and you will know eventually that they are totally fake!

Food was pretty good. Many other people reviewing here didn't seem to have luck with service, but I disagree. Our waiter was readily available and was really pleasant. Food was really good considering other options for places that are open past midnight. One star taken off for the venue though; the place seems a little worn down and could use an upgrade. Aside from that, it was overall a good experience

I love Meg's! Meg is great and knows us when we come in. The food is always delicious and comes pretty quick since this isn't a fast food place. The food always tastes fresh and you can tell they care. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the hours. It says they're open 24 and they used to be bit lately they never seem to be open so it's a real inconvenience, but a great treat when we drive by and they are open.

Warning: this is going to be a long post. So I had ordered through skip the dishes and unfortunately the driver ended up delivering the wrong parcel. I contacted skip the dishes and they refunded me the amount. Problem solved! But I was pretty upset because I had to order again and I was running late for work. The other order came and that was that. But then the restaurant calls me, apologizes for the driver’s error and offers the ordered food for free. I didn’t want to bother them because I got my other order. But they insisted and they even went out of their way to get it delivered to my workplace because I wouldn’t be home. This definitely requires recognition. Thank you for your kind hearts. You deserve more than a 5 star review.

The only reason I am giving one star is because we were refunded for our meal. The rice was so old it was fermenting and smelled putrid and there was hair cooked into our naan. The butter chicken only came with 5 small bite size pieces of chicken and tasted nothing like traditional butter chicken. I would suggest never eating here. They have only a 39/100 on all their health inspection reports, that should be an indicator of how horrible it is.

We went in for dinner buffet. Curry containers were empty and they didn't bother to fill them up. We waited for drinking water for almost 10 minutes after we asked for it. Funny part was, at the till, when we were paying, the debit machine was turned to us without asking is how was the food or any kind of communication. When receipt was printed, the cashier looked at us and didn't even thank us to come in. May be he was expecting TIP that we didn't leave because (1) we waited for water (2) food containers were empty (3) no smile or conversation at the counter. Oh, and by the way food taste is average here. I would recommend other Indian restaurants around the city over this.

I really don't like giving review but this one had to be out as any opportunity to make other be aware it a better thing to do. So been to the same place twice, once during the day and one for tonight. The dinner literally felt as if it was left over food being seveed with waterded down daal and some pretty aged chciken. The meat itself looked dark and when brought this to the attention of the server all I got to hear was okay thanks "will let the kitchen know". Well here's something the kitchen should know, PLEASE DON'T SERVE BAD FOOD, to make more profits and jeopardize one's health.

Extremely unhappy with the quality of the food. I purchased 'Keema Aloo Balti'. The food was almost rotten. You can definitely feel the foul smell of stale potato. Not recommended to anyone.

Ordered take out and asked specifically to make sure my naan was not burnt and when I went home and checked the naan 2 out of 5 was burnt. But everything else was good. I ordered on March 26th right before closing.

The lunch buffet was absolutely awesome, and the naan was fresh and hot! The place is really clean and the service was very personable. I definitely had my fill and the flavours will have me coming back!

Had the madras chicken and the butter chicken which were both very good. The madras was bone-in but we found out later that they have a boneless option as well. The naan was light and fluffy and the basmati rice was a decent portion. Found out that the buffet is only on weekdays. Will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

We just had supper here and it was the most amazing East Indian food we've ever had! Freshly made and full of flavor. The coconut honey naan is so good! Good service too.

Just had the best meal in martensville! Went to the black pepper tonight with a friend in that town, he said they had pretty good food. Man, he really undersold how good the buffet was, and the coconut naan was out of this world. The best part was that they maintain a low amount in the buffet so that it’s constantly fresh. The server was friendly and very polite, and was looking out for our every need. I recommend you come and try this place.

Finally decided to try the Black Pepper out. Totally regret not coming sooner. Not the nicest looking restaurant from the outside, but the interior is very nice, well decorated, and comfortable. The service was prompt, helpful, and very friendly. The food...oh my, the food. The food deserves its own paragraph. The food was fantastic. Seriously. We ordered off the menu, ate way too much, and still took some home, so good sized portions. Did I mention that it was really tasty? So freaking good my mouth thought it had died and gone to heaven. My tongue is still mad at me for running out of food. Do yourself a favour and eat here. You won't be sorry you did.

Fantastic place! I eat here and order delivery a lot. They're very accommodating and always help me figure out what I can and can't eat with my food allergies. Plenty of gluten-free options if you ask, and they're good about other allergies as well. Service is great, and the atmosphere is lovely.

This is the closest thing to authentic east Indian food I have found in saskatoon. I regularly come for their lunch buffet. They usually have a selection of 4 different curries to choose from. At a very reasonable price. The menu is a great place to order food that reminds you of home. Will recommend this restaurant to anyone who is craving true east Indian cuisine.

Remind me a market from Cuba, many sections empty or big area with the same. It was organized and clean and nice service but couldn’t find what I was looking for. Apparently there is a restaurant on top which was interesting, I would like to try it some day. Also I found some toasted cake similar to one we have in Cuba that I would really like to try soon.
