Charged me $100 to change the piece of a lock and 6 weeks later it was broken again. I called and left messages and he never returned my calls. When I called from a different number, he called me back right away. When I asked about why the lock was not working, he said he never fixed that part of the lock (this is a very standard deadbolt lock). I asked him to come by and see it again and offered to pay for a new lock. He told me to spray it with jig a loo and then call him back. Terrible work, terrible service and terrible price. I called another locksmith and the lock was changed with no problems.

(It seems that my attempts to repair it myself had not gone very well...) Anyway, he put it all back together, showed me what he was doing as he did it, charged me virtually nothing, shook my hand, and said to give him a call if I had any further problems. Pretty much the perfect interaction with a quality trades-person – Personable, prompt, courteous and fair.
