This was my first time in Sherbrooke, loved this historic B&B. We stayed two nights; our hosts were warm, gracious, and accommodating (I was in the city for medical tests, and yet it felt like a lovely visit). Breakfasts were elegant and scrumptious! I hope to stay here again.

I had a great stay during a 3-days workshop at Bishop's (2 minutes walk). Host is friendly and makes you feel at home. Beds are clean and comfortable.

This charming B&B is situated right on the river with a lovely very deck to take full advantage of the view. The house is currently being renovated (this won't interfere with your stay) and the rooms are spacious, stylish and full of character. Guests have access to a common den and kitchen. The shared bathroom is very functional with an amazing shower. The home cooked breakfast is absolutely delicious and the wifi signal is good. It's spotlessly clean and I was very happy staying there.

My stay at Charmes de Provence far exceeded my expectations. Celine and Alexis are truly wonderful hosts - welcoming, warm, friendly, helpful. Staying at Charmes de Provence was a definite highlight of the time I spent in Sherbrooke.

Celine and Alexis are the penultimate hosts, wanting to make you as comfortable as possible. We arrived late, and they still welcomed us warmly, and then helped us find a restaurant that was still open for dinner. My wife and I spent a couple of wonderful days at this BnB during the spring. Alexis, our host is a very amicable guy, very funny, and with great stories that I was delighted to get out of him. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this B&B. The hosts, France and Claude, were so welcoming. Their native language is French but France did a great job with her English so communication was not a problem and it was very enjoyable to learn some French words.||The property is amazing. 16 acres including 4 small lakes that made walking a joy around the property. ||The B&B has been totally renovated and updated. Each of the 5 guest rooms are spacious including very nice bathrooms. An iron and ironing board plus hair dryer and amenities are included.||Each breakfast was delicious and there was always a choice of a specialty dish or eggs. All were served with ample portions. Also included were smoothies and yogurt.||The location is in a country setting but easily accessible to Sherbrooke and the surrounding Townships with a car.||France was helpful in choosing restaurants that we found to be very good.||We would highly recommend this B&B. What a gem for the value!

What an amazing place to stay! We booked it very last minute as we were exploring Canada. The house is situated in the woods, built on to the side of a home. The rooms are super modern, clean and functional. Garden has a pool and a hot tub. The hosts were really, really friendly and made us an amazing breakfast. They made us feel so welcome and it had a really superb family vibe. One of the best places I've ever stayed. I would definitely come back!

My wife, young daughter and I stayed at the gîte for 2 nights on thanksgiving weekend. It was a warm welcome. Our beds were really comfortable. Our room was immaculate. There is no tv but good wifi. The five bedrooms have their own separate entrance attached to the main house, which was nice. The property is nice and large - if it’s warm there are lots of places to sit down and read. We appreciated the hot tub and the pool would be fun in the summer. Really close to Magog, Sherbrooke and mint Orford national park. Breakfasts are more sweet than savoury and fun and original.

We stayed overnight at the Emerald on our way to Quebec City. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Our host Daniel was very helpful providing directions to places we were interested in going to. The B and B itself is immaculate. It is fully restored with care and expertise. Each room has a private bath. The wood floors are amazing. For breakfast we had a wonderful yogurt parfait with fresh OJ followed by a large potato, onion and green pepper frittata! It was wonderful. Toast and fruit completes the meal. We stayed in the Diamonte Room. It was lovely. We will definitely stay again if in the area!
