Carmen and Marco couldn't have done a better job at our wedding. Their level of professionalism and care for their clients is just amazing. The picture were stunning and precisely what we wanted. They asked lots of questions and went out of their way to make sure we our most memorable moments captured (Carmen even broke her shoe climbing around in the trails for us). They radiated positivity and you never felt uncomfortable with having them there. I couldn't recommend them enough! We didn't think we wanted the engagement photos but I personally would really suggest for anyone considering it to go ahead and get it done. It allows the photographer to work with you, your personalities, and angles before the big day and then you get something much more unique and personal on the wedding day. You also feel a lot more relaxed. If you are looking for a photographer, stop looking and book these guys, they are amazing!

I was lucky enough to find Christian with a google search last year. Christian did both our engagement shoot and the photography on our wedding day and we really could not be happier with his work. He has a beautiful photojournalistic style, but for the most personal photos, he is able to subtly suggest poses that appear very natural. Christian is incredibly hardworking - he started his day at 11am and stayed until the end of the night around 12:30am. Days after getting married, I found out that he was under the weather on the day of our wedding. I had absolutely no idea that he was sick as he maintained a professional and cheerful demeanour throughout. Christian also is very quick with turning around his photos. We did not wait three weeks before we had the full set of photos. Thanks so much for capturing such beautiful photos on our wedding day, Christian. We could not be more pleased!

June 2018 - Matt arrived to photoshoot our wedding. And right upon his arrival, he was in full action shooting every little detail of our day! His way, his aura, his simpleness and happiness made everyone relaxe in front of the camera. During the few weeks before the wedding, where all the final planning is done, they were always answering the same day or at the latest, early the next day. We saw how experienced they are planning the details and time management for photoshooting. They guided us all the time and made us feel confident of our choices. They are far away from the traditional picture taking : pose a, then b, then c.... Matt has such an artistic eye that he looks at what the environnement has to offer for scenery and then improvises shots that are truly pieces of art. Also, he captures every moment of the day, creating a story with the pictures, from the card game in the morning, to the préparations, then the wedding, our buffet, our first dance , our rock and roll dance where my wife's shoe flew away... Looking at the pictures trully brings us back to our day. They have high standards on professionnalism. Super respectfull. At one point, we forgot that Matt was at our wedding, really discret, tries to not be intrusive but always on the go to get that perfect picture. Family members told us Matt was everywhere, always taking a picture from the small details of decoration to the important ring exchange. We met Matt and Ann at a wedding they were shooting and were impressed with their work ethic. At that point, we already knew of Green Tea Photography but our observations confirmed that we wanted to work with them for our maternity shoot. Paul Couvrette did out wedding back in 1978 when he was first starting out. The pictures are still wonderful. Unfortunately he is shutting down his studio.

Before you talk to anyone else for your wedding, call Paul. Seriously, he is the gold standard that every other wedding photographer/wannabe photographer in Ottawa (probably Canada) should be measured against. Just look at his resume! Before Paul arrived at my venue, it felt like so many little things were going wrong and that my wedding was not a priority to any of my vendors. Paul honestly made my wedding day. He made us feel so special. During my husband's shoot with his groomsmen, a beautiful vintage car rolled up to the venue and Paul just walked right up to the guy and asked him to use the car in the shoot. He knew it would make the shot, and it definitely did. I honestly feel that only someone with his experience could have seen the car and thought to do this. During my shoot, what was supposed to be just some pictures around the horse stable on site, turned into him shooting me and a horse (a rather energetic one at that!), he rolled with it like the pro he is. These are just a couple examples of how Paul went above and beyond for us on our day. Every shot was amazing, people think I spent thousands but honestly his prices are extremely reasonable. So check with Couvrette Studio first, and compare everyone else against him... but I guarantee you Paul is the best wedding investment you will make!

Christopher is an incredible photographer! Right from the beginning, he was so personable, professional and easy to work with. He took the time to sit down with us, get to know us a little and understand the vibe we were going for on the big day. At the wedding, he made us feel so at ease and most of the time we didn't even notice he was there. He and his assistant were great at getting all our guests together and posed for the group shots. Not to mention, they were quite friendly! A remark made by many of our guests. We received our photos back only a few weeks after the wedding and they are wonderful! We are so pleased. We had a simple City Hall ceremony and struggled for a long time trying to find a photographer that would take a combination of couple and family shots that didn't quite fit the traditional categories of "wedding" or "family portrait" shots. Every other photographer imposed arbitrary costs like $50 per extra person in the photo, huge fees to access the photo files, etc. We feel extremely lucky that we stumbled across Christopher's website and his City Hall wedding package. It was exactly what we were looking for and for an extremely reasonable price. Christopher was efficient, fun, and made us feel relaxed.
