Took our cat for a blood test so she could get her leukaemia shots done on a later date. We warned the vet that our cat doesn't always like other people but is always fine with us. The vet proceeded to get a muzzle and put it on her that covered her mouth and eyes. At this point our cat started to freak out and the vet took her to a different room. We could hear our cat screaming, crying, and sounds of something banging for a good 5 minutes. When the vet brought her back she was panting, tongue hanging out, covered in feces, and blood. Her neck had blood around it from the vet attempting to draw blood and he told us he might not have gotten enough for the test to work. Her back right paw had blood on it from one of her claws being torn. Extremely dissapointed in how much our cat was harmed during this experience. We managed to clean her off after and obtained no scratches and she didn't squeal. See photos of experience and post clean of our baby doing okay. Hopefully her claw does not get infected and her neck heals. Other reviews praise this place for their cheap prices but the price isn't worth the pain to our cat.

I went to this clinic sept last year.My dog had an ear infection.The vet told us that he has to take the sample and look at the microscope what kind of bacteria (charged $25) then after 10minutes he charged us antibiotics which he said thats what the lab.test result the bacteria is sensitive to.Then he charged us 60$ for ear drops Canaural which later on i checked Amazon that its only 18$.Then he checked my dogs fur and insisted that the tiny dust is lice and told that 25$if i will have my dog vaccinated .All in all i spent $198. Going to this clinic is like riding to a cab to which the meter goes up every seconds.I am doing this review just now bcoz todayi found a very affordable, reasonable price vet .Spacious for sick dog.Gentle and my dog got well. Vet clinic shd not only think about money .They shd not take advantage of the time when our beloved pets are sick and all we have to say is yes doctor.

Amazing service, friendly and cost effective. He takes pride in his work and is always friendly and tells you the truth sometime even when it is bad news. Exam prices are excellent and carries an assortment of food, supplies. He is moving across the road to the plaza on the south side of Kingston Road so if you do not find him at the old location, just look across the street. He also has a second clinic and his hours are good.

If you love your pet and want your pet to have the best care (from the the time you make the appointment till the time you leave your appointment) you have to go to Animal Care Clinic. Our dog is treated and loved here more than I have ever felt at my own human doctor. They really understand your concerns and won’t make you check more or spend more just because. You get taught how to prevent problems so you won’t need to come in. That shows how much they care about your pet and not the dollar. My Deebo loves it here (could be all the yummy liver treats he gets!!)

Animal care clinic is a great environment for your pets. They made my puppy feel at ease for her first shots, examinations and grooming. However I did find they were on the expensive side. I am a student so unfortunately I will have to take my pup somewhere else from now on. I also found that they did speak to me like a child when explaining things to me. However if you don’t mind the paying the extra bit for a great vet, then I would definitely recommend!

Jessica and Sue never made us feel like we were jumping the gun, or conversely, not doing enough, they simply appreciate your situation and assist owners in making a decision you are comfortable with. The support staff are also a pleasure to interact with, both Princess and Meghan were instrumental in relaying messages, providing reminders, and generally assisting us as owners. To say I was impressed with this vet clinic would be an understatement. A friend reccomended this place so we decided to give it a try. From the moment my chihuahua Mindi and I walked in the door to the time we left, I was very pleased. The facility is spotless and all the staff were absolutely amazing. Dr. Joy was so knowledgeable and kind. The pricing is a bit more than I was paying at my other vet but as others have said I’ll pay more for the excellent level of service. Dr Gabby and team are amazing! Not only do they do so much to help save cats from high kill shelters but they truly care for the animals that come through their clinic. Dr Gabby regularly follows up personally if we've had a medical concerns with the cats and remember's who my babies are as well. The clinic feels like extended family.

We cannot recommend Dr Gaby and Dr Erin and the whole team at Bay Cat Hospital highly enough! We came there with a terminally ill little kitty, and they have been nothing but caring, compassionate, and ever helpful. They check in with us all the time, and even sent us a "Get Better" cat card! They are almost like social workers as well as being knowledgeable vets. They take time to help, and never over-charge or seem like they are in it for the money. Run, don't walk, with your kitty to Bay Cat Hospital. You won't be sorry.

Dr. Gaby and her team are fantastic! From the moment you walk in the door, you know that your cat (or dog) will be in good hands. I went to Dr. Gaby years ago after another vet told me that my cat needed to be put down due to kidney disease. I went to her for a second opinion, and she found a solution that gave me four more years with my cat. More recently, I took another cat to see Dr. Erin and I was so impressed with the way she followed up later via email to see how he was doing. I have had nothing but positive experiences here! The facility is always clean and very well kept. They have in house blood work and x ray machines that have always allowed for us to find out what's going on with our young pup within minutes! As for the staff, both the doctors and the vet techs have been nothing but compassionate to my family and I. My dog has skin issues as well as a sensitive stomach, and after having him treated here multiple times, I can definitely say that there is no other clinic I would trust with my boy other than Eglinton Mavis Vet Hospital.

Don’t be fooled by the very few low-baller reviews which I find disconcerting as I have had nothing but a perfect experience at this clinic. I got Nelly’s shots and spay done here and the staff were so kind and patient. You can feel the love. Even for a shot, the vet gave a thorugh checkup. The spay was done perfectly and the whole process was easily explained to me. The techs there are sweethearts! Dr. Gobriel is a gem as well as the female vet whose name I cannot recall. At the end of each visit, I always got a follow up email or call about how Nelly was doing. That shows commitment and care in what they do! I love that follow-up touch. I got a nice welcome package with goodies and useful docs when Nelly got her first shot. Thanks guys!

I've gone through 3 Animal Hospitals within the last 5 years and by far Eglington & Mavis Veterinary Hospital is one of the best ones I've taken my fur babies to. The environment of the facility is nice and tidy and the staff are amazing. Dr. G and Dr. M along with their assistants are amazing when it comes to helping out and making my cats feel comfortable. I also like the fact that they don't push and pressure you to do certain things and are very understanding when it comes to finance and scheduling. The first time I took my kitten (Tobi) there, they made Tobi feel so comfortable and welcomed him into the family at the Ellington & Mavis Animal Hospital and treated him as a family member as opposed to just another patient, which I love. There are so many good things I could ramble on about with this Animal Hospital but I won't. I am so thankful I was able to find a great and friendly facility such as this one. Definitely would recommend to any other pet lovers and parents. 5 stars for the cleanliness of the facility. 5 stars for the friendly staff. 5 stars for amazing experiences.

So so pleased with the experience and highly recommend to anyone needing a vet or emergency animal hospital. Had an emergency with one of my cats and googled 24 hour animal hospital and found this place. I went and found it wasn’t open but that there was a number to call. I was told they would be there in 1/2 hour and they weren’t a minute late. They took her right away, examined her and gave me two options and provided a detailed estimate. She required surgery and they did that immediately and offered to let me stay there or call me when they were done. Both the Vet and the Vet Tech walked me through her meds and were just overall amazing throughout the entire experience.

If you are looking for care that goes beyond any expectation that you may have Dr Gobriel is the vet to bring your pet to. he is truly unlike any other vet I have dealt with. I've visited 4 different clinics prior to this one and none of them compare. he is caring, kind, and knowledgeable while ensuring your pet is comfortable and in good health. he is very very informative - did not rush us out of the room and answered all of our questions . I could tell how much he loves animals. He is truly heaven sent!!

Two stars ONLY because they were able to see my pup ASAP while I was waiting for my regular vet to arrive at their clinic. 1 star for everything else: EXPENSIVE, and I felt that the vet did not have genuine concern for my boy. He seemed like he was greedy for the amount of money it would bring in. He also seemed like he was all textbook, and had no real life knowledge of or experience with dogs. I ended up paying almost $1000 for basic services all completed within an hour: charcoal, charcoal ADMINISTRATION which was $75 (which my dog would've happily eaten up for free), etc. I brought him to my regular vet when they were in and they felt so bad that I had to pay so much for such basic services. They especially chuckled at the charcoal administration being $75. I ended up paying about the same amount at pup's regular vet for his stay of 2 nights, multiple blood tests, IV fluids for the time there, and everything else to get him back to his regular self. Unless I was extremely desperate, I would not bring my dog here again. Or I would just bring him to an emergency clinic... they pretty much charge the same anyway. ******** In response, I never said that I spent $1000; I said that I spent almost $1000, as $700+ is almost $1000. Am I wrong? Most people would round up. Also, I find it a little ridiculous that even if it was approximately 2 hours spent at your clinic, my dog spent 3 days/2 nights at his regular vet and I paid under $800 for way more care than he received from your clinic within those 2 hours, including everything that you did and more. I am just warning others of my experience, as everyone should know that your clinic charges significantly more than others. I also indicated that I would not bring my dog here again unless I was desperate, but now I know that we are not welcome here. Thank you so much for reassuring me that all you want is to make sure my pet is safe from harm because clearly, a review of the truth is enough to make your clinic want to turn pets away from receiving care when needed.

Dr. G is the only vet I would trust with my pet. He will only do the work that is necessary and always knows what best for your pets well being. His staff is willing to go above and beyond for your pet. Coming in the middle of the night to check on your pet, calling you to make sure you're updated and will love your pet as if it was their own. You know they are always comfortable in their care. I can always rely on them to take care of my pet and get them back to the highest levels of health.

Awful. Awful. Awful. While the front of house staff and Vet Techs seem nice, the Veterinarians Dr. Rosnick and Co are very cold. I took my dog in when she was in heat and was made to feel just awful about my dog bleeding on the floor. The doctor(Rosnick) seemed offended and disgusted. Fast forward to today - I called to make an appointment as my dog is quite sick and I'm very concerned, with the stipulation that my partner left the city with my wallet in the car and so could only pay them on Saturday - this after being a client of theirs since our dog was a puppy - not the most insane request, and certainly one would think that people in the business of compassion would be a bit more understanding. But no. Instead I was told 'We can't do that.' - over and over. No reason, no explanation, no accommodation after we have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars with them. Needless to say they have lost us as customers and I will be absolutely sure to steer any and all friends away from them. These people are in it for the money, not for your pet.

I have been using the veterinary services at Toronto Animal clinic for over 9 years to treat 4 cats and 3 dogs. (Now down to 1 cat and 2 dogs!). I have found the clinic lead by Dr. Badri to be compassionate, and fair. I can call anytime with a question or prescription refill and solve my issue quickly. I am grateful for the care and attention my pets receive by a friendly and caring staff. I would definitely recommend this clinic. Additionally, the staff is open to discussion to chart the pet’s health care plan and prognosis.

I was a patient here until I moved out of the Toronto area. Having worked at other clinics and the veterinary emergency clinic, I can say with confidence that, had I not moved out of the city, I would still be bringing my fur babies to Dr. Bureau. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cares about the welfare of the animal over price of the appointment. Our cat was not feeling well and having issues urinating, so we took him to see Dr. Clara Bureau. Within a few minutes of being in the office, she was able to diagnose the problems. Dr. Bureau kept him overnight to give him fluids and to monitor his symptoms, and we took him home the next day with a few medications. After a few days, Watson was back to his usual self. Dr. Bureau even called to make sure he was doing well - we really appreciated that. Dr. Bureau was wonderful in explaining everything and she gave us recommendations on how to avoid future problems. All of her services were priced reasonably, especially for the quality of care Watson received. We highly recommend Dr. Bureau!

We did not have a good experience with this clinic. I was originally going to go with our own vet but they quoted us about $750 for the dental cleaning procedure. So, I ended up going with Weldrick Animal Hospital after reading the reviews online as the reviews said they're good and cheap. I was told the procedure was going to be $350 plus any medications, extractions, and taxes. We got a phone call a few hours after we dropping him off regarding an extraction they said they needed to do to get permission for. When we went to go pick him up it was around 2:30pm and all I wanted to do was take my baby home as I know he didn’t want to be there in the first place. Then, when it came time to paying, a deposit of $55 was supposed to come out of my account; instead, $62.15 was taken out instead when I booked the appointment. I was told I had to pay about $577 more at pickup. I was very confused. I asked if my deposit of 62.15 was taken out of the total amount and the lady said it was (but only 55 was deducted not the $62.15). I wasn’t given an overview of what the charges were until after I had paid. After I paid, and took my dog out of the clinic and he reeked like urine. He had a bowel movement as soon as we went outside. We tried to get him to pee and he wouldn’t, so we went inside to ask when was the last time they had taken him to go pee since we dropped him off at 9am and it was already 2:30pm. The people responded by saying they didn’t take him. So I assume he probably peed inside the crate he was in and was probably covered in it as that’s why he smelt like urine. When I got in the car, I was so confused by the charges. None of it made sense to me. We were charged for a gel and some solution to put into his water that we didn’t need but had it included in our total (this is not a part of the medication). After all of this happened, I just want to get him home, clean him and make him feel more comfortable. He barely ate dinner which I understand is normal and then we went to bed. I woke up to him throwing up and what I saw was heartbreaking. He threw up an enormous piece of gauze. I was in tears as he is such a small dog himself and that piece of gauze was so long and thick. I tried calling the next morning on Saturday. Online it said the clinics open on Saturday’s but I received no answer. Then I realized they only open every other Saturday. I waited until Monday but before I got a chance to call them, they called me and asked me how he’s doing. I told the lady I tried to call many times but they were closed and I told her how worried I was that he threw up a piece of gauze. Then she said it’s probably something he picked up from my house and ate... I told her we don’t have gauze laying around on the floor in my house. Then she said oh he probably ripped it off his arm where the IV was and probably ate that. I told her he’s not one to eat something that’s not edible. It was evident to me that they did not want to own up to a mistake on their end. I asked her if she thinks there’s anymore gauze he could have swallowed and she said no he should be okay now since he threw that up. I know if this was our original vet, they would have definitely been much more concerned. The teeth cleaning was done well and the staff spoke to us nicely before the procedure was done, but I wouldn’t recommend this clinic. I was told by another vet that “I’m lucky” because if my dog hadn’t thrown the gauze up, he could have died. It was a terrible experience and I hope it never happens to another dog again. Mistakes happen but there should have been more done to prevent this.

This veterinary clinic is amazing! I am so thankful they were able to help my dog. My dog needed dental work and the first quote I got was over $1500. My dog had to have 12 teeth pulled and it was just under $1000. Anyone looking for more affordable dental for there pet, go here! I didn't even notice how much my dogs bad teeth were effecting him until after he had his teeth extracted and heeled up. His face is slimmer and he's so much more goofy, happy and cuddly. I feel bad I didn't get the work done sooner.

I had originally booked here for my dog’s dental cleaning and though staff was friendly on the phone, I emailed the gmail address that was provided to give our dogs documents such as vaccinations and waited for a reply. Followed up twice by email with no response that they received documents. Called the number and the person on the phone confirmed they received my email so I asked for them to confirm via email. Again no response. I was really disappointed and decided not to go with them since it would have been a very far drive with no guarantee I would be sent back because they didn’t have everything they needed. I felt if they weren’t responsive and professional, I wouldn’t trust my dog in their care. I booked with our local vet who are a bit more expensive but much more professional and responsive.

He has helped me to have 1 cat neutered, have another's eye infection healed, surgery for a cat that was experiencing frequent urinary blockages, and this morning he kindly, and compassionately helped me say goodbye to a beloved senior cat. His practice is very clean, and well organized. He also always has a staff of extremely helpful people, and I've always felt well taken care of when coming here. When I was a child, we would bring our cats to see Dr. Robertson at Bucksburn when it was at 8th line. When I got my own dog as an adult, I didn't debate bringing him to any other vet. After Dr. Robertson retired, a few vets came and went that were alright, but once Dr. Glauser came, we have been very pleased. We recently had to put our dog down and Dr. Glauser and Katrina were excellent through the whole difficult process. We now have another puppy arriving shortly and I've already booked her first appointment at Bucksburn. We live on the other side of town, but they are worth the drive every time.

I have to start by saying I am not a client at this clinic but I think I will become one. I was dogsitting a dog this week. Yesterday I awoke to find her in great distress. I called her owner and she agreed I should take her as quickly as possible to her vet. I called Bucksburn and they agreed to see her immediately. Every staff member I encountered at this truly lovely clinic was kind and understanding to both myself and Nicky. Even though they knew she was not my dog they took the time to communicate with me several times during the day and at each step of their diagnosis. They were in contact with her owners and they didn't have to do that but they did. Not only that but it was the vet himself that did the calling. I can not thank this man enough for taking an extremely difficult day and making it just a bit easier by being professional, sympathetic and very kind. I have worked with animals for 35 years. Over that time I have found clinics to become colder and clinical and dispassionate. This was not the case yesterday. I truly think We could not have been in better hands. Although I do not own a car and it was a rather pricey cab ride I think they will be seeing me again, with my own dogs, under happier circumstances. You have earned a fan, I cannot thank you enough.

I can't say enough good things about Bucksburn. My dog, Skinny, and I have been going there for about 4 years. Skinny has had many health problems, and they have helped us through every one, always making this very anxious dog mom feel calmer and in good hands. Skinny is 16 now and in need of a lot of care. The Dr. calls to check in, answers any questions I have very quickly, and I've been so thankful to have Bucksburn, I really don't know how we would have managed Skinny's senior years without them.

Had to take my Lovebird in at 3am on a Sunday when he showed worrying symptoms. Dr. Alex was very professional in explaining what he was looking for physically and certain things I should be keeping an eye on as well. He was also very clear in cost estimations of medications + overnight emergency care costs which made leaving my pet at the clinic less stressful All the receptionists, including the overnight + regular ones in the afternoon, were extremely helpful and prompt when doing the paperwork Although the clinic is too far for regular non-emergency visits from Toronto, it definitely was worth the few hours drive for the piece of mind to make sure he was cared for properly

Dr Nicky Brown is amazing. My 2 special needs cats had chronic diarrhea for months and no one could figure out the issue but her! She is very understanding (I'm a student so I don't have millions of dollars to spend) and caring, she called to check in with their progress once a week :) The only thing I'm not a huge a fan of at this office is the veterinary assistants / reception staff, you pretty much need to stand in front of them for 5 minutes before they look up from their screen to acknowledge you... also they've messed up my appointment times, forgot to give me half of the medication the vet prescribed, and run out of stock of medication and food and don't seem to notice or order any more until you are in the office wanting to purchase it. They are super busy though, and everyone makes mistakes. Worth putting up with it for the veterinarian!

Have a ferret that was choking (quite common for them), and called the vet's 24 hour line - twice. The Vet techs, different ones each time, talked me through and were very kind and helpful and didn't try to pressure me to drive to Guelph and pay the emergency fee. The ferret was fine as it turned out (common again), but based on this experience I would highly recommend this animal hospital, and will use them again if (fingers crossed not) there is another emergency.

I have a bulldog that has had skin issues forever, I’ve switched vets a few times, spent a lot of money trying to figure things out. This vet is the only one that’s come up with a permanent solution (long term prescription) that’s worked. My 8 year old English bulldog is basically a puppy again and I wouldn’t go anywhere else again. Dr Mazzocco helped me and the dog out big time. I’ve given it a month or so before writing this, I’d recommend this guy to anybody. Explains everything well and genuinely cares

I took my pregnant guinea pig (shes older and was put with a male that was supposed to be neutered) the level of expertise and compassion that Dr. Kendra and the other staff has is amazing. Its an hour and a half drive and well worth it. I wont be taking any of my piggies anywhere else. Price for x-rays and exams were really fair. Knowing that they are open 24 hours has truly put my mind at ease.

Best vet clinic with the most competitive price around Ottawa/Gatineau. The place itself is a bit dirty but the staff are very friendly and attentive. They take there time to answer all your questions promptly. There is always a wait time once inside, but usually not over 5-10 minutes. The place is a bit out of the way (middle of nowhere), but still worth it.

I used to go there for my beagle Ellie and my dad had a black lab - Missy (who passed away a few years back). The service Dr. Varney offered was incredible and the prices were pretty average. When she would go in, the vet would cut her nails at no costs after her shots and check ups. The vet and front staff are great, but the prices are insane! We were told that it was 100$ for her boosters. In Ontario it was included in the vaccine price - 40$ or 50$ okay - but 100$ is insane. They also no longer offer complimentary nail cutting after you have an apt and get a few things done. It’s now done by a tech and it’s 30$. At least for 30$ the vet should do it - or like in the past, at no cost. Years ago, on my pet’s first visit, they offered me a little book where the vet signed for her vaccines and wrote info about her - it was a neat thing about that place. Today I had to ask for it and when I asked if the vet could sign it so that I can keep track (after paying 200$ for her first apt and 3 shots - you’d think they would go the extra mile), the lady said “well she can do it next time when she comes for her spaying”. The service is just not the same. It’s just an average vet now. But the vet herself and lady at the desk was very kind - I feel like my pets care isn’t their priority anymore but they’re nice people.

Beware when writing to /dealing with Rose Robinson who deals with correspondence regarding complaints. Since April of 2108 my complaint material was submitted before all "deadlines". All of a sudden her "committee" asked me for a two page report I had obtained from the vet in APRIL 2018 January 22 2019-right before the Hearing regarding treatment of my cat by a vet in Hamilton. This should have been requested by her on the very first correspondence. This was a simplistic 2 page "report" about the death of my cat.The vet finally produced an enormous and elaborate piece of veterinary description of a highly technical nature. I could not find the simple original report. Ms. Robinson also stopped sending me stamped envelopes and I had to write lengthy submissions with zero computer skills and no scanning capability. In summary beware of Rose Robinson. She may ask you at the very end of multiple submissions over multiple months that "The committee is requesting" (right before a hearing) that should have been requested on the first correspondence with her. I made multiple references to that 2 page report on my cat Scrooge in many of my submissions. The case is set up to fail .

Don't ever take your pets here! I was forced to because I had a severe case with my dog and every other animal hospital I took him to said they didn't have the proper equipment to care for him. They made me put down a $1000 deposit and he stayed in hospital for 2 days and they then told me there was nothing they could do for him and that I should euthanize him. I was so devastated and wanted to keep trying, but they said even if I spent $5000 there's nothing they could do. So I followed their advice as hard as it was. The vet then told me what my bill came to which was around almost $800 and the euthanization was like $150 I want to say... so I should've had more then enough to cover all of that. Then the next day they call me and said I owe them almost another $400!!! I couldn't believe it... I explained what I was just told the night before and they said the doctor didn't say that. I even asked to speak with the doctor ans she denied our whole conversation even though i had my dad and sister in the room with me when she said it! I should've gotten a receipt, but my dog just got euthanized and I was devastated... that wasn't even on my mind at that moment. Don't trust them!!! If you have to go there like in my situation get a receipt for every step of the way! They will try and cheat you as much as they can. This happened a couple years ago now... it took me a while to write this because I was too heart broken to keep thinking about it, but heard a horror story from my co-worker regarding this place as well so I had to come on here and tell my story. The reason I didn't want to take my dog there to start with was because I took my bearded dragon there years ago when she had a prolapse and they gave her too much anesthetic and killed her. I don't know how this place is still even open they're a bunch of crooks. Please if you can take your animal else where PLEASE DO!!!!

vets shouldn't have to live in fear and crooked vets shouldn't be getting away with abuse. also, this place is totally in bed with big pharma and is everything that is wrong with the pet industry. it governs how our loved ones are treated medically...and pets are dying, quality control is at an all time low for their suggested food companies, need I mention the Hill's recall-- if they want to govern maybe they should have empathy, compassion or a real heart. we shouldn't have a governing body that "forces" vets to suggest certain corn based foods, or lack of nutritional quality foods. all they care about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Disgusting, terrible. We need a new system. This one is highly broken. Animals deserve WAY WAY better than this blasphemous corruption and sickening behavior. for our animals to truly be protected and the needs of their care met, we have to weed out these types of people from our garden.

As long as you get your financial kickbacks ($10,000 to let an abusive vet in St Catherines keep practicing) I guess it's ok to let vets keep their licence... as long as you get paid of course... that's all that seems to matter! You can't TRAIN someone to have compassion. You have it. Or you don't. If there is no legal framework to prosecute people that abuse animals then YOU that have say in their ability to work in the field should actively put rules in place... if they break the rules... no matter how much money or power they have.. or if they come from abroad where "he didn't know that wasn't acceptable over here" they need to be banned from practicing. You can't train empathy. I don't care how they treat animals where he came from. He abused them here. He shouldn't be allowed to practice as a vet PERIOD! Disgraceful everyone who allows such behaviors. Do you honestly think he won't treat animals bad when the cameras aren't on after your re-training? Wake up! Get a clue! But, most likely came down to your getting $10k and hey, if he re-offends... you get more money right?

A great place that is run by pharma. It’s main concern is to make rules and regulations which will make your pet sick or dead. This means huge profits for medications. Rabies vaccination cost 61 cents and a titer test should be used before doing another vaccination. Hundred billion dollar industry. Wonder why. Who fixes a dog when you can do a vasectomy or tubual ligation. Which would keep hormones in check. No hormones means a ton of medical issues. Bone issues to heart to liver to immune to allergies to lack of energy. Glad to see the people governing things have all been paid off as usual. Whatever generates the most money. Make sure you make laws to govern these insane recommendations. Also make all boarding and dog sitters require things that will 1. Generate huge profits. 2 . Make dogs, cats , animals sick for life. Clearly this school follows no actual medicine or practices for the well being of a animal. It is run for the sole purpose of generating profits Also the additives and preservation in animal food which is toxic and not listed maybe we can get rid of that. Half the dog food on the shelf is poison. But seeing half the people food is also garbage like the amazing Monsanto products of death or the johnsons cancer powder which is still sold because Canada has such great regulations which will sell you death in a bottle or can with no regard for life. No surprise. Most countries have banned all glyphosate products but not us because it’s a actual fact that it causes cancer so let’s eat it make our pets eat it just feed us all poison then charge us insane prices to reverse the damage which it won’t. But it will cause a slow and suffering life not after draining you of all your capital. Great job people. Glad there isn’t one whistle blower who has the guts to say something. They are only animals so who cares right. Funny thing is the exact tactics are being used on people. We all know that before drugs go to human trial they are tested on animals. 50 percent placebo and 50 percent get tested on till death. Thoes labs are all over the Provence and country. Many unmarked and loaded with security cams. They don’t study things that will cure they study things that will make huge profits They may extend life but that is just so they can get every dollar from you. In closing we crete our sicknesses. Trillion dollar industry for vaccination and then there is research another trillion. Medications another trillion. Just in case nobody has figure out who runs the schools of medicine. Guess who. Inject toxins remove hormones then feed the animal garbage. That will turn out great. Vet visits ever few months if you care and have a heart. Or some people just put the animal down. People are truly evil. It’s all about money big houses nice cars trips and the best stuff to show off. No morals or values. Awesome.

I really liked my experience. We brought in our dog because he had a lump in his throat. They took him right away, and ran the necessary tests immediately. What I appreciated most was how knowledgeable they are. They really know whay they're doing. They are organized, and extremely clean. The only negative comment would be the price! But I guess that's just the reality of properly caring for an animal! *There is a wheelchair accessible entrance.

One morning I woke up to my kittens very sick and I was very desperate to seek advice and comfort from this local veterinary clinic only to be treated awfully by Dr. Kader. He was completely unsympathetic and made me feel like I'm wasting his time instead of being treated as a valued, PAYING client. It's my first time having pets, google was a scary place when reading about their symptoms, so I had hoped to receive factual information delivered in the way they doctors are taught, and not throwing a bunch of scary terms casually around like "it could be lethal, could be HIV, etc. etc.". When it came to making a decision about a procedure for my kitten, he didn't want to provide insight and he refused to give me his advice on what he would do in my situation, and instead told me "you have to take responsibility for your decisions". I even told him that I did not study animal medicine to be able to safely take a decision as such, whereas his knowledge and expertise should help with making the right choice. He literally walked out of the room for ten minutes or so. Honestly, terrible service in all. Hope you can be kinder and more informative to your other clients.

The vet (Dr. Nasir) was very good at keeping me up to date with the fluctuating price and my dog's overall health. Overall, I have had a really great experience here. The vets really care about the animals and they are really good at keeping owners up to date. There prices are also affordable

Like the vets here. New vet Dr Ian...met him recently...good, caring get. Like the location and the building. A sense of warmth and those on the front desk very welcoming, warm, knowledgeable and somehow seem to remember me. Love the vets who work here...they are awesome. Unfortunately I haven't met those who work in the back...the techs, etc but I get the sense everyone who works here loves animals. Also, they sell some food, toys, etc.

Highway 24 Veterinary is the BEST! Sometimes you don't realize how good until you have been elsewhere. For years we have brought our fur babies to Hwy 24 but two years ago, we moved to Toronto. I have now been to three different vets in Toronto and although I think I have found a good one, nothing even comes close to Hwy 24. From the moment you walk into Hwy 24 Vet, you are greeted like family. The front desk staff treat you as though you are their most important client. They welcome your pet by name and seem to genuinely care about your pet. The Vets are incredible. They take the time to talk to you and explain everything, and they also have such warmth and compassion towards your pet. It feels like family and you don't completely get it until you are dealing with another clinic. I would drive from Toronto to Hwy 24 if the darn 401 wasn't always so congested. It would be worth the drive. I miss you all - keep up the amazing work, support and true service that you provide better than anyone.

Parents always used to take our family pets there and had good experiences. Having my own dog now i thought I'd continue. First experience was fine. Second time i booked an appointment and when i got there waited for 20 minutes then someone finally came to me and said 'sorry the rooms are full, do you mind of we just take your dog to the back and look at him'. Catching me off guard i allowed it. Third time, same experience. If you make an appointment shouldn't there be a room and doctor for you. Not to mention the costs are pretty high. I found a new vet in guelph. Way better service and the fees are better.

I had an emergency with my dog and my vet couldn't take me in so they recommended to go here. They did take really good care of my dog and I am so grateful for everyone there. The vet and technician were amazing. My dog was not stressed and seemed like they treated her really well there. The only minus is they will suggest extra services . In my case on top of the 600 $ bill I payed 100 dollars to take a swab and clean perfectly fine ears cause they thought she had ear infection. That's totally on me tho, should have said no. Also the front desk girl that called me to pick up my dog was kinda rude.. Later on I saw her rolling her eyes as she was talking to someone else on the phone.

This place is incredible. Been here twice, and both times have been nothing short of first class care for my pet. My last visit required a sudden and fairly invasive emergency surgery. My dog would spend the next 5 days at this Hospital until they felt he was recovered properly enough to go home. Dr. Haley was absolutely fantastic couldn't have been more caring for my pet. I don't think she realizes how grateful we are for what she's done. From the front desk staff, to the other vets and techs in the back, I felt comfortable my dog was in excellent hands. I was notified like clockwork with status updates, as well as billing adjustments in a professional manner. Justin Guay discharged us with our furry goofball and answered all our questions. He was excellent to deal with. I thank everyone that was involved for their excellent work... If you want your pet taken care of by people who genuinely care about animals, this is definitely the place.

We had to rush our 4 year old cat in yesterday morning, and unfortunately, did not get to leave with him. While it was an awful morning, the staff made a very tough time, a little less tough with how great they were. Dr. Haley was wonderful, she thoroughly explained everything to us, and made sure we didn’t leave with any questions. She was so caring and empathetic, and we are very thankful she was the vet there during that extremely difficult time. A huge thank you to you all, we appreciate you and what you do, so much.

Our older family pet, Jackson, was in excruciating pain & in a constant state of seizures on a Sunday morning. I called VCA Veterinary Hospital & they asked me to bring him in asap. When I arrived they triaged him right away. Brandy brought my family into a private room so we could speak to her and shortly, Dr. Ashley Marshall. Jackson prognosis was not good. He was 14 and long story short we never felt rushed and were welcomed to spend as much time as we liked with Jackson before deciding that Euthanasia was the only/best option. I'm tearing up writing this but I have to because I want others to know that we are lucky to have this 24/7 hospital in our City and especially such compassionate people working in the industry. Dr. Marshall made us actually feel better about the terrible decision we had to make. The Hospital made, free of charge, a ceramic paw print and Dr. Marshall sent us the sweetest note of condolence. Thank you so much!

This place is amazing. I brought my cat in with a significant issue - the staff were up front and honest and let me know my options. Additionally, following his stay, the vet (Dr. Donnelly) called me personally everyday for a week to check-in and see how my cat was doing. She would talk to me for 20 minutes sometimes and was not being paid a dime to do so - she just cared. The whole support staff top to bottom were also awesome. I can't say enough nice things about this place.

My family and I are currently singing the praises of this wonderful team • We recently brought our male cat in for the very first time as an emergency & he was seen immediately, for what turned out to be a terrible case of urinary blockage. They began doing all they could for him right away, and kept us well updated throughout each day of his week-long stay. We were always assured that we were welcome to arrange visits with him (which were great), and that we could call for updates whenever we felt we might need them... day or night. They always had time for us, and each of the doctors & techs who phoned were so thorough and caring, we had no doubt that he was in the very best hands. Absolutely horrible experience. There’s no rush procedure, the emergency vets see walk-in patients with no emergency. I waited over 3 hrs to even speak to someone with nobody else in the office. There were no emergencies ahead of me when I arrived there. The people at the front desk are insensitive and extremely deceptive. Wait times are inaccurate. I’ve been to this place twice now with an emergency for my animal and I’m extremely displeased with both experiences.
