Earpiece on iPhone 6 died and as such I had the pleasure of dealing with Mobile Klinik. Within two hours they had fixed the issue; however, in the process of repairing the earpiece the screen was damaged and proceeded to flicker constantly. Mobile Klinik assumed the cost of replacing and repairing the screen at no additional charge. The only inconvenience was that it took longer for me to get the phone back, but their opening hours are very accommodating. Overall, it ended up costing me only ~28$ and a new screen protector for a new earpiece and screen. I had a working phone by the end of the day and most importantly - no hassle when it came to them correcting their mistakes at no cost.

I was so impressed with Mobile Klinik at St Laurent Shopping Centre. My old phone died completely and I had no backup for my contacts so you can imagine that. I brought my phone to them and they said that they could replace the battery and they were hopeful that it would be ready the next day and it was!!! The technicians were very friendly and understanding. I have a one year warranty on the battery which is amazing. Needless to say, I need to backup my phone!!!

Customer Service Representative was great. I came in with a problem with my charging port on my iPhone 5s. He took the time to check out my phone and figured out that they did not need to repair the phone but just clean it up for me. There was no charge and now my phone is running like new. I met an honest man last week. My cell phone has not been charging properly so after blasting the charging port with compressed air to no effect, I brought it in for repair. The attendant could have sent me away for an hour and later charged me $50 for the repair; instead he just took out some tweezers and removed a dust bunny from the charging port that would make any belly button proud - no charge. If I could give 0 I would. I brought my phone in for a screen repair. They informed me they had to outsource it due to their mistake. They damaged my mother board. After 2 weeks I had no updates and called them twice. They tell me they will reimburse me my phone as they cannot fit it. They gave me back my phone with the screen still cracked and now broken and charged $150.00 plus tax ... for their services. They didn’t fix my screen and charged me for their services - I had to deive into the city to get another phone, drive back to them to get reimbursed for my phone - which they didn’t credit me on full ... they broke my phone, charged me for their mistakes I feel I paid them for me to do their running around

Went in to get a battery replacement on my phone. I watched the entire process from start to finish. Felt that the price I paid was worth it. My only two suggestions would be a) better explanation of what I was getting. I knew how much I was going to pay and that I would have a one year warranty on the battery because I called the store ahead of time. The salesperson at the store did not tell me any of that information. I had to ask. B) gentler during the replacement of the battery. Some of the plastic on my front cover was scraped off.

I used mobile klinik to fix my broken iPhone 6 screen. I had used them previously to fix my iPhone SE and was just as happy with the results the second time! So far I haven’t broken a replacement screen, the previous phone went for a swim... Before iPhones were waterproof! I will likely damage another phone (butterfingers here). When I do I will immediately go see Adam at mobile Klinik. Fast, friendly service on time and as quoted. Much cheaper than getting a new phone!

Incredibly helpful staff who are very knowledgeable and very transparent. Went in and told them my issue and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and also told me the best way to get it fixed and they didn’t charge me a penny. Would recommend to anyone with any issues related to what they say they cover. At the minimum it’s a great place to start and they are willing to help in ways which a manufacturer may not necessarily.

He is very good at his work he went over and above to resolve my cellphone problems and he definitely takes pride in his job and his customers. DO NOT GO HERE - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. If it was possible to give less than 1 star, I would. I went to have my screen fixed, as it broke while I was in Ottawa for work, he fixed the screen and I brought it home. When I started to use the phone it came to my attention the entire left quarter of my screen was unresponsive. Went back again to get it fixed - he claimed a faulty screen - the new screen seemed to work - however when I would push on the screen sometimes there would be a weird colour ripple specifically near the bottom. After about two weeks, with no drops or trauma to the phone, a black ink mark showed up on the right corner of my screen. I remove my case to see that the screen looks as if it is coming off the phone. I go to an apple phone repair, and they say that the screen they put on is not only not correct for this phone, but that they did not put it on correctly and because of that this is now occurring (lots of tech stuff that I don't completely comprehend). I tried to call and speak to someone politely, and was yelled at and told I was a liar and there is no way they made a mistake, even though they have already accepted fault for one mistake, and had to fix it. I was told I should not try and waste their time and ask for a refund when I have just broken my screen again, and was belittled and hung up on. Terrible at their jobs, terrible customer service, terrible customer care, scam artists.

One of the men behind the counter saw me and observed that I was most likely an East Asian. And he said "ni hao", despite the fact that I am not even remotely close to being Chinese. The man that said this, said it in a way that made it seem as though he was trying to make fun of me for being East Asian. He also said "ni hao" to my little brother and my friend. This made me very uncomfortable and was borderline racist, and I don't think I will ever come to this place again. If the man had some sort of mental disability, then I'd be okay with what he said. Otherwise, I had never met that man in my life, so I was very much not okay with him attempting to make a racial joke with me. Edit: I don't think he was a customer because I saw him standing behind the counter helping out a legitimate customer with her phone. Edit 2: Haha I'm not blind. The man was 100% behind the counter. I don't appreciate being lied to.

Brought in my LG q Stylo Plus to have the screen replaced. My phone was repaired in a timely manner and has been working as good as new since the repair. My repair was $199 plus tax because the whole front part of the screen had to be replaced, apparently that's the deal with my sort of phone. There is also a warranty that comes with the repair... Great service! Came in quite discouraged that my touchscreen was not working anymore and (having not backed up my phone) depressed that I had lost all my information. The phone was repaired within a few hours. It works great. They even took the time to explain to me how to back-up my information.

I had bought in a phone in early February to fix a phone that had been suddenly started shutting off randomly. I had originally brought the phone into another store and however they couldn't fix it. Beforehand, they informed me that they had a service charge of $10.00. I brought the phone to CPR and the two staff working during one evening informed me that they couldn't believe that a previous store couldn't handle a 'simple' problem. I was feeling hopeful that the problem would be fixed with this store. I was promised by one of the employees that if the problem of my phone was not fixed I would not be charged when I picked it up. One week later, I received confirmation by email that my phone's problem had been fixed. However, when I picked up the phone, I was surprised to see a repair bill of $70. In comparison, to the other cell repair store they who would have charged me $35. If the problem could not be fixed I was informed it would be another $10.00 service fee which I would been okay with. However, 24 hours later the original problem had been reoccurring. I dropped off a second time, and informed the daytime manager that I was promised not be charged if the phone could not be fixed. I dropped the phone off a second time, a week later, the problem was still not fixed yet again. Luckily, they had a 100 day warranty and was not charged a second time. If they could not fix the problem, they shouldn't have promised me getting charged. I felt cheated and basically and saw my $50.00 go down the drain for dead phone. Overall, They need to get a handle on their employees. I only managed to negotiate a refund of $20.00 off a bill worth $70.00 when I spoke to the owner. Phone still shuts on and off. They shouldn't have never accepted to fix the phone if they could not fix a hardware issue. I am aware that my phone had a nan-chip issue that eventually would have led to $200.00 fix. However, if this was the case. They should have not attempted to fix my phone and informed me that it was a lost cause from the beginning. It was this disloyal, ethical, and unprofessional conduct that I won't be returning and would not recommend anyone to get their phone looked at. This company needs to evaluate what they say to their customers.

We asked for an estimate to fix the screen on her iPhone. Price is very reasonable and it was fixed in less than an hour. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! The also gave us a great deal on a protective case and screen for her phone. Phone looks good as new. Thanks again!

The staff here were super friendly and patient and most important KNOWLEDGEABLE!! I had a pretty obscure issue with a 2012 Nexus 7 tablet, managed to McGyver it tks to YouTube to get my data but tablet still not charging right, turns out power control chip has issues on those, which explains all the crazy behaviour and 'fixes' that only work once 😵 Great advice, were interested in my hack success, and even pointed the way to a place I can get wires and connectors and such for small electronics. I'd already had the charging port replaced elsewhere, which did nothing. These guys gave me the straight dope! In a world where 5 sales staff at the Source can't tell me the basic specs of a universal cell charger, these guys are an oasis of credibility in a sea of precious ignorance - my go to repair shop now!!!

Great place; the positive reviews don't lie. I came in to have the headphone jack for my phone fixed. It took 10 minutes and cost $39.55(with GST). As opposed to Rogers(my service provider) where the same problem at the start of 2018 took 11 days and everything on my phone was wiped. I definitely recommend this as a professional alternative in case the stipulations with your service provider aren't good enough(such as long wait, higher price, no temp phones, losing everything saved on your phone etc).

Really happy with the service. I’ve had to have my screen repaired twice (oops) - both times I went to them. Fast service and really affordable rates. Comparatively with Apple you might as well buy a new phone. I was quoted $400 for an iPhone6S Plus replacement screen from the Apple Store and they couldn’t even do it same day. This store gives you the choice of top of the line screen or off band if you want to save money. I went with top of the line for $140 (and still saved $$$). Done in 30 mins. Long enough for me grab a coffee from Starbucks and browse Indigo. Save your money and get a quality repair with no hassle. This time I opted for a screen protector too... lessons learned.

I cracked my iPad screen. Like, shattered it. When I brought it in, I was quoted $250 as it was an iPad Air 2 and the glass was connected to the screen differently. When I picked it up, $140, as they discovered it was a slightly different model than they initially thought. I wouldn't have known the difference, they could have overcharged me, but they were honest and decent and did great work. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed on many different levels.... The experience started rather pleasant, I was able to easily book an appointment online through their website to a replace of a battery on my Samsung 6 Edge. I quickly received an e-mail and a Text message confirming the 12 PM appointment time, the price of 75$ plus tax and a 2 hour waiting. The location was easy to find and had easy accessible parking. I arrived at 11:45 AM was greeted by a young gentleman that confirmed my appointment. Great so far !!! His 1st comment was that I own a Samsung 6 Edge and it costs more to repair. I instantly brought up the appointment confirmation for him that clearly stated that my phone information and cost/waiting time. He said that is good enough but it will take 2.5 hrs instead to get the repairs done. I agreed, gave him my personal information and left. I came back to pick up my phone at 2:30 PM, I was informed that since it's a Samsung 6 Edge extra time is needed (EXTRA 2 Hours) for battery testing and other technical stuff... I decided that I was not going to argue with the young gentleman and politely stated to him that I was very disappointed and this is not what he promised and he should sympathize with how hard it is to reschedule my day if I do not have my phone and/or contacts. He was flustered and failed to even apologize. I was back to pick up my phone @ 4 PM. He hands me the phone to confirm everything is okay and I notice I have a different color phone (Gold Front / White Back). He then proceeds to tell me that the back glass cover broke and that happened because the phone has been refurbished (that's the best excuse he could offer)... Obviously they did not have the proper color replacement part so they gave me a white NONE GLASS Samsung Back Cover. NO APOLOGY for breaking my phone ! NO EFFORT to take responsibility for breaking the phone ! NO OFFER to make things right ! I looked at the young man very disappointed, paid my bill in full, asked for a receipt and for the broken part. I remained calm, polite and respectable with staff, as I myself have been in the customer service industry for years and I know issues do arise, but this is not how it should be handled. Check their website, it states that they offer "Quality Parts", "Quick Repair Service" and "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed". They failed on all fronts. I will try to reach management and await a reply to see if Hi-Tech Repairs care about keeping their customer happy, but so far I have not been happy with the service at all.

The battery in my iPhone was running low very quickly, so I took it to them. I asked the guy if maybe I should replace the battery and the guy didn't seem to know what could be the problem so he just said he would change the battery (he didn't check it or analyzed what could be wrong). I came back and battery was better (not good, just better) for like 3 days. They damaged my phone more than what was wrong with it. Now, battery runs low very fast PLUS the phone makes noises and every time I walk into a store with it, it activates the alarms.

Another business recommended I'll fix it to me. I am so glad they did! My phone stopped charging and died within a day. I was going to be getting a new phone, but needed this one alive to transfer the data. I drove all over the city looking for help, including my service provider's store, the store that sold me the cell phone, and another cell phone repair facility. The other facility was going to charge much more and send my phone away for up to four days. I finally went to a battery specialty store just to buy a battery with juice. They did not have the battery but recommended I'll fix it. Paul gave me excellent and friendly service. It was a few hours from closing time but he said they would try to fix it before closing. At the most, they would need until the next day. He quoted me a reasonable price. Not only did they fix it the same day, but for much less than quoted because they did not have to replace a part. They even fully charged the battery! I appreciate the honesty of these people, as well as their fast and friendly service! Thank you I'll fix it!

I gave them two chances to earn my business and both times I had to bring it elsewhere to get fixed, because the problem simply kept coming back.. Didnt like the service, I got my s8 plus repaired. They replaced my back screen with a cheaper version of the original. Not only that screen wasn't fixed properly. It was still open and was told that its because the glue wasn't dried yet and can't even listen to music on my phone anymore Yes........ I wonder to. That's how bad of a job that was done. No, I paid full price back and front. I went and got it fixed by professionals, I was told my screen is a fake cheap glass, everything you guys did was just horrible. Even the excessive glue that was used made everything worst..... If you want to open a business run it properly. Good business isn't based on how much money you can get off people while giving a bad service.

This place is not a business, it is a scam. They charged my friend for a procedure on a phone that is not physically possible and made her pay for it! She went to apple and they wrote a report about how they literally squished her phone in trying to "fix a bent frame" and damaged the battery and "fixing a bent frame" is literally not possible. Apple was very informative and told my friend and I that they themselves cannot fix bent frames because again, not possible and they have to give people LITERALLY brand new phones, It is literal fraud and they are making people pay for it which is absolutely crazy! When she went in to get compensation and to ask one of the employees how they did the procedure, they firstly, gave her a hard time about even talking to the manager, refusing to give his name or the time he's working and secondly, refused to let her speak to the technician to ask how they "fixed her bent frame". I would suggest at all costs avoiding this place. Not only that but the only reason she went in the first place was to fix her cracked screen which they replaced for her BUT, OF COURSE, there's an issue with it and it was popping off at the bottom of her phone! They later then told her they didn't install it properly because her frame was bent, but don't you think that was something to mention before? And again, it's not possible to fix a bent frame, so please someone tell me why they even charged her for this?! Whatever you do, do not go there, it is a waste of your money, time, and resources.

This has been bothered me for months so I feel the need to speak up for myself now. I went to the store to get my screen fixed a while ago. Staff there asked my password to unlock the screen. When I went back to pick up my phone in an hour, I found out that my Photo Album and Wallet (with all my credit card and points card info) was opened by people there. They asked me to give them a 5 star review which I did because they did offer reasonable price and fast service. However, the experience made me very uncomfortable until now... no matter what are the reasons for them to open those two apps while repairing my phone, I feel my privacy was largely invaded...Imaging some strangers went over your photo and cards info without permission ... I would never go there again...

My charging port needed to be replaced, done in 24 hrs. Guaranteed for a year! Amazing. A year later, and it just keeps getting better. better. my phone got dropped and screen broken. I drop it off and the screen replacement is done the next day! My tablet goes sideways...it's a simple microUSB issue. Boom, done the next day. Another tablet goes sideways, needs a new board, you guessed it...done the next day. If their capes get dirty from all the Superman work they're doing, I've offered to launder them. These guys rock!

After having a horrendous experience at the barhaven location I was very hesitant to use this company again. After calling this location and speaking with Moe, I decided to give them another try and have them replace my battery on my Google Pixel. Normally it would be a few hours as the Pixel has a stupid internal design, but Moe got it done for me over my lunch break and I was in an out in under an hour! Moe was super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive while I was waiting. I would definitely recommend this location and Moe to anyone needing their phone fixed.

Almost having given up on my Surface pro 3, after I had tried three places earlier and no one could fix it or get my data out due to the damage of the screen. Luckily the staff at the last shop recommend uBreakiFix on Merivale. Unlike some other shops who want to charge me in advance without a guarantee of a success result, uBreakiFix provide me with a reasonable quote, and a promise of no cost if they can not fix it. Though the gentle man who I spoke to sounded quite confident, I was a bit skeptical when I left my computer there... To make the story short, three days later, I got my computer fixed and back, with a new screen. It has been nearly a month after the repair, there has been no any issue with my Surface. I am so happy with their work. From now on, if my pcs or phones need repair, i will definitely come to this store first. Also I will let my friends and relatives know about the shop if they have problems with their phones or computers.
