Terrible company. To begin, I have been with Kafka for almost a year now and the first three months they changed my insurance amount 3-4 times. 1) When I called to schedule a meeting to get insurance, I was told the amount of deposit to bring which ended up being more when I arrived. 2) I wanted to add a second car to my policy and I was told it was possible. I registered my car, paid over 500$ (mind you this is without the insurance yet) and when I went to confirm the case, they told me ‘they couldn’t add a second car’ and that ‘they can’t do that work in their office’.... after I was told by multiple representatives that adding a second car to my name WAS possible. I called the actual company (Perth) and was told that it was possible to add a second car and that the brokers (Kafka) just had a misunderstanding and that I should be good to go. Once I call back again, I’m denied my request simply because the boss was skeptics of what I was going to do with my second car. Unprofessional? I think so. To anyone reading this, please trust me and DO NOT GO WITH KAFKA INSURANCE BROKERS. They’re rude, unprofessional, and do their work based on their personal opinions. Thank you.

I arrived for my appointment on time, while waiting in their front area, myself and my boyfriend along with a few other clients could hear the operations manager talking to client very rudely with her door half open. After the phone call she proceeded to complain saying “i just wanted your damn address, I Can’t deal with this today.” My boyfriend and I both hoped at that moment we would not get her. She then called the receptionist and mind you we can here them both talking cause her office is right next to the desk for the receptionist, and told her “Your going to have to find someone else to deal with them, whatever.” At that point i got up and left after expressing how unprofessional they were acting.

Disappointed by their customer service. I have been a customer for over 2 years. I qualify for a better policy as I no longer finance my vehicle and don't require comprehensive insurance. I have called them numerous times asking for a quote for liability only. Starting to get suspicious as it's been over 2 weeks and I am still awaiting a response. Have called twice since then and was promised a quote each time, still nothing. I am suspicious because this policy will be cheaper than my previous policy, and my policy automatically renews in 3 weeks. I will not hesitate to take my business elsewhere if this issue is not resolved promptly. I would like to stay, because they are professional, typically do a good job, and I like the experience, but Meloche Monnex and Belaire Direct seem more interested in my business at this point. I would recommend them though nonetheless, just be careful and get everything in writing.

Terrible service .. I had Sinar as an agent . Supper nice guy when you first meet him. But after you sign the dotted line forget about... I have been waiting hours for a schedule appointment finding out later he went out for lunch early.. Also called in an accident report which I found out later that he did not report it in computer or to head office.. My suggestion is if you are going to use Allstate go to a different location ..

The young lady working at the reception was very rude to the point that I got uncomfortable talking to her. Such a life saver everyone was so nice! I am confused by the reviews here because I was going through a hard time and Lenn Dawson was able to help me and give me solid advice on everything including information about my new car. The reception was super sweet as well. I was so lost and Lenn stopped at nothing to make sure I got the best rate possible for both my car and home. He also gave me great life advice. Seems like many others agree here with me..... Had a very bad experience. I am not saying the company as a whole is corrupt but my personal experience was horrible. Long story short; the agent there manipulated the prices and used words to make it seem like my whole policy for home and auto was cheaper. I made sure to clear the context for I know how manipulative some companies can get. But even after asking "how much per month will my TOTAL be", she gave me only the auto per month so I agreed. Then the mail came and showed the true price which was not what we agreed to. Called back and of course "oh sorry must be a misunderstanding"...yeah it always is right? I won't say names nor will I call this a bad company, just be careful everyone with your dealings.

Horrible service, I will never get insurance from them again. I had asked if I would get charged a cancelation policy if I switched insurance 2 months before my term was up because my rate was so much higher with them then elsewhere. I was informed it would be $40 to cancel the insurance. They never informed us that cancelling we would not get our last months payment back that we paid at the start of the term. So instead of a $40 fee they told me it would be its actually $260. After I cancelled they still took the payment out of my account even though Im no longer insured by them and will now have to wait 15 days to get the money back.

This place is fantastic! A HUGE thank you to *Amy Van Hintum* at Eagan Insurance Brokers. An independent broker really does cover you best. I’ve been shopping around trying to find better insurance coverage and rates for the past year with no luck. Until I stumbled upon these guys. Dealing with Amy was amazing!!! Her professionalism and willingness to help and get things done on the spot was just remarkable. And the rest of the staff seem extremely nice in there as well. So friendly and welcoming. The process was fast and satisfying. Called at 4pm and was at the office and out with a new policy and premium (that saved me a lot of money) in less than the hour. Don't recommend it. This insurance company is the worst insurance company in Canada, and especially the staff who work there and (Dan Dupuis) at the top of the list. Believe me, you do NOT want this and here's why: 1- you'll get a problem every month. 2- When you try to contact them, they'll tell you to come to the office because they can not do any changes through the phone. 3- If you ever have any accidents or any damages, they'll tell you that they don't need your business anymore and they don't care about you. 4- Their call center is useless because after you spend more than 20 minutes on hold you get an agent who doesn't know anything, and not even English. 5- I canceled my auto insurance last week and even when I did so I called and said that I wanted to cancel, they say you have to come to the office to cancel it because they are too behind and their system is pathetic to cancel a policy or even do any changes through the phone like other insurance companies. At the end, I would say that I'm so happy I canceled with them and I wish that I did that long time ago because it was such a headache.

I had a very bad experience with my previous Desjardin agent (then State Farm) and was considering even switching insurance companies but I was very happy with my commercial coverage. Upon just my first phone call to Jackie's office I could see an incredible difference in the way they present themselves. I felt valued as a customer and the listened to me. They confirmed everything and even made a change I had requested my former agent do 3 times!!! All the staff is so nice and so welcoming, I actually like going in. The vibe in the office is so relaxed but they are still very quick and you don't have to chase them. They will actually call you back! I am so happy with Jackie and her office staff, I will be switching my personal auto and home insurance over once its come due next year. I highly recommend her to everyone asking about insurance.

Since this company has bought merged whatever with Southland It has been a cluster @$#€ They fired my regular broker of 25 years during her leave. ??? So I have been given the run around from 5 different people and still no answer. Then the excuse they are changes then they are training. I DONT CARE. excuse after excuse. If this is how a business is run . I rather go somewhere else. Which I have and now they are still taking out money for ins because their staff still cant do there job?? Wow So now I still fighting to get my money back after 2 months Really

Some time ago I was told my auto insurance is going to be pretty low compared to what I had with State Farm, so I signed up for it. Unfortunately I didn't insist on getting any paperwork as I was told they will send me my new policy in a few days. They did.... it was 50% more than I was promised!!!

My broker is Shelley, i switched to hub this month. She told me my payments would come out in june, but i got a letter from the insurance company that a payment was coming out in two days. Shelley tried to tell us this was a once in a lifetime fluke lol. And that i had to pay or it would cancel. Terrible, very bad decision.
