Laura is the full package as far as Chiropodists go. As an avid runner and a medical professional myself, I appreciate a holistic approach, and that's what Laura provides. In order to determine where my foot issues were coming from she did a full assessment of my lower body, my gait, and my feet. She treated several areas and provided me with a strengthening program that has helped strengthen my feet and glutes which has made huge difference both in addressing my issues and preventing others. I'm on my second pair of orthotics from Laura and am very happy with them, as well. She's knowledgeable, kind in her approach, and I appreciate that she's an athlete as well. I highly recommend her.

I feel that I paid some tax on stupidity coming here. Before first appointment they give me a paper to sign, stating that I understand that this person is not a "real doctor". After that everything was pretty logical. The guy does have an X-Ray machine, so he made X-Ray of my feet, then honestly told me that he has no idea where the pain is coming from... but, if I wanted to, he could offer me a $650 arthritics. That was the end of the appointment. The only two things to add: he was 40 minutes late for my appointment and he charged me $300 for nothing. I am not sure why I paid. Of course, not coming here again.

I had bunion surgery a few years ago and love my happy, pretty "new" foot. No more aching or uncomfortable shoes. Dr. Nadal and his team did a great job on both the operation and follow-up to minimize any pain and to maximize a successful recovery. I plan on having them do my other foot when the time comes... and it will.

I had a bunion removed from each foot about a year a part. Each time the procedure was painless and I am very happy with the end result. I followed the instructions after the procedure and I was back to normal in no time. There are virtually no scars on either foot. A wire was temporarily inserted during surgery to keep the toe straight, for me that was the only phase that caused a bit of discomfort when I walked until it was removed. I recommend Sheldon Nadal if you are looking for professional, well managed foot surgery.

Had an incredible experience coming here. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, they have tons of snacks and refreshments. But best of all it’s very high tech. They used a 3D scanner to create a precise model of my foot to make orthotics and the physiotherapy has helped in just a few weeks to reduce my pain from a 7-8/10 to near zero. Highly recommend.

I was in town for other medical stuff and really hurt my foot. It was a holiday weekend and I was able to urgently see two doctors at the clinic. They fixed my foot and solved my problems on the spot. I know back home I would not have been able to get treated and healed like that. Honestly, going forward, I may strongly consider flying to Toronto with any future foot troubles. They really came through both in a pinch and medically. The clinic staff were lovely, it was clean and efficient. They worked me into the schedule and there was no waits or delays. Five stars aren't enough, these guys deserve a million and one stars. Most amazing clinic and care team. I rave to this day about how well they fixed my foot. I was shocked about how much better it could feel after one visit. I went from hobble along with sharp pain to walking out (albeit with a supportive foot boot but still walking!). And now, months later, my foot is still 100%. So thankful for Academy Foot Clinic!

Highly recommend! Despite being out of town I still decided to come in and have my ingrown toenails taken care of due to being upfront, friendly and helped take the nerves off as I was not looking forward to the surgery and prolonged it because it looked painful and nasty on YouTube. The propedure actually wasn't that bad and my feet are super happy now. Jamie even offered to stay after hours so I could make it in and have the procedure done and offered email assistance if I had any questions/concerns because he knew I was coming in from out of town .

Wow, terrible experience. I cannot tell you how rude the receptionist was. I live in Mississauga, and took a 1 hour commute to get to the doctor. My train was delayed by 20 minutes, I decided to call the front dresk and tell them I may be 10minutes late, they said okay. When I got there 10 minutes late, they told me I could not see the doctor, in a vulgar tone. I now have to rebook my appt in July. I was literally in tears as I spent 40$ to commute there and back just to be harassed by a rude receptionist. I would definitely not recommend coming here as you will be harassed by the receptionist.

Me and my family had a wonderful experience, we live downtown and came up here because we had faith that we would be getting the best treatment. I had a ingrown toe nail on my big toe and it became infected and super painful, and in one visit it was cured and I am back in action.

BEWARE!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! YOU HAVE BETTER LUCK GOOGLING YOUR SYMPTOMS FOR HELP INSTEAD!!! I would give it 0 stars if I could! I went there for a consultation that only lasted about 20 minutes and she didn’t tell me anything helpful whatsoever. All she stated was common sense. All she told me to do is to wear insoles to help my feet. I forgot how much the consultation was it was around $60-80. On their website it doesn’t say anything about having to pay for your consultation. Common practice is that the consultation is free and the sessions after that are for a fee. When I brought this up to the receptionist, she told me “you could go to the hospital instead because it’s free there” and I couldn’t just cancel the appointment because they charge a fee to do that. I’m surprised this business has 5 stars. They were extremely unprofessional and rude. The entire time the doctor was “adressing me”, she wasn’t even looking at me.

The staff are personable, caring, and went the extra mile. Also, the cleanliness of this clinic exceeded my expectations. Fantastic results from this clinic! I had over 30 plantar warts on my foot and in my toes. It was a very awkward spot and the dr took care of it wonderfully. I had tried almost everything and nothing worked. I'm finally free of my warts after only 4 treatments and I am so happy with the care I got. I also enjoyed the chiropodist treatment and having frozen toes it really brought them back to life. I'd highly recommend this clinic. It's clean and professional and gets the job done. You won't regret it.

No one had mentioned this to me during my initial visit or during the voice message i received. Full disclosure, I have known Lloyd for probably more than 30 years. I got my first custom orthotics from Lloyd about 15 years ago and noticed a huge difference just walking from his office to the elevators. I have bought extra orthotics so most of my shoes have them. Very, very poor experience with this foot doctor/podiatrist. Went here again with high hopes after doing much research and having a bad experience with a “celebrity Dr. “ Same treatment as everyone else your feet hurt because I need orthotics I charge $500-$600 for Orthotics. We don’t do adjustments on site so send them out, back-and-forth like this for months while the foot pain doesn’t get better. Getting close to a year’s time we need to get you new orthotics because these ones are worn out even though you haven’t worn them half the time because they were getting adjusted. Your insurance should cover another pair correct? Stay away!

I limp in but I dance out the door. If you have foot problems go see this Doctor. I've had a lot of problems with my feet including chronic ingrown toenails. Dr. Klayman took care of me with 2 permanent surgeries. Highly recommended & professional service.

As a long-distance runner, I realized I needed orthotics about a year ago. I got a pair elsewhere and found them extremely uncomfortable. Despite trying to break them in and subsequently getting them adjusted, my pain persisted. A friend, who is a competitive long-distance runner, spoke highly of Dr. Klayman, so I knew I would be in good hands. After the consultation, the orthotics were ready in about 3 weeks. While there was still an adjustment period, the new orthotics have reduced my foot pain both while running and otherwise. I am happy I found Dr. Klayman! He is professional, kind and addressed all my concerns.

Very professional, friendly, and informative. At first I was hesitant to book because this seemed more like a commercial space over a real clinic, but I was pleasantly surprised with my appointment. The staff are very friendly and explain everything as they assess you. A few things to note if you are considering a visit: their website lists their hours as starting at 8am, when the earliest appointment can only be made for 9am (I am unsure if they are open for walk ins earlier than that). Also, they do not do direct billing with insurance, but are very helpful with any questions about submitting your claim to your provider. The initial appointment/assessment was $80 and I was able to book less than a week in advance. They also don't charge for any changes that need to be made to custom orthotics for the first 3 months to ensure that they are fitting correctly. Overall, I highly recommend if you are experiencing any discomfort that may come from your feet!

Amanda is like an angel sent from the heavens. When I first met Amanda I could barely walk with Plantar Fasciitis pain and a messed up achilles tendon. After three sessions my plantar fasciitis was pretty much gone and then we did another three weeks to work on my achilles and get it is back to normal. I can honestly say I'm running and doing my sports injury free. Shockwave treatment is amazing but a tad painful at the beginning (sometimes more lol) but as the injury heals the pain decreases. The staff is also extremely friendly. I can't say enough of how awesome my experience with Downtown Foot Clinic and Amanda has been!

Amanda is not covered by OHIP since she's a chirpodist. I didn't know the difference at the time so this will prevent you from claiming OHIP and possibly your insurance. Otherwise, service was OK.

My son has very odd sized toes on one of his feet, and has been complaining about one of his toes hurting. On that toe, his nail is like a dome and it therefore cannot be clipped and must be filed. As soon as the doctor looked at his toe, he said that he has a wart. My wife said that that was actually his nail. The doctor took his magnifying glass out and began to expect it. We explained that my son was complaining about pain in that toe, and he did not have an explanation until my wife mentioned that perhaps it is due to the fact that the toe in-question is longer than the rest of his toes. From that point on, he insisted that this is why this toe must've been bothering him. My wife mentioned that he has non-existent nails on the rest of the toes on that foot, and the doctor then examined them and said that he has stubs but not a complete lack of nails (which technically was accurate). He then said that he was going to trim his nail and left. A nurse brought some tools that looked surgical, and my wife suggested I ask what he's planning on doing with those, which I did upon his return. We explained that my wife had filed this nail 2 days ago, and that it should be OK. I asked what the reason for his toes were strangely sized as such, and he then asked if our son had any conditions. I explained a genetic condition that he has which is linked to sight and hearing in general, and perhaps that might have something to do with his toes. He discounted it, saying that that's just how things are, where sometimes one to is longer, sometimes another. He gently pushed on each of my son's 3 middle toes, and asked if each one hurts, to which my son said "yes." He said that nothing could be done, and after my wife asking about it, he said that there were no nerve ending issues, as my son would've made it known when his toe was being pushed. We asked if anyone else could be done to determine why his foot looks different from his other one, and the doctor said that there wasn't and that he could just keep and eye on it with a follow-up every few months. We do not plan on returning to this doctor, as his sight seems to be quite bad (he's quite elderly, so this isn't a very big surprise). Also, he did little to no analysis on the problem, after initially misdiagnosing the problem. Also, we went to another podiatrist prior to this, who had his do a walk to see if the situation with his toe size affected his talk, and we went to this doctor to get a second opinion. He did not do any such analysis. He just kept repeating the proposed diagnosis from my wife: that this toe must've been bothering my son because it was the longest toe on that foot.

Been here a couple of times but the service hasnt been consistent at the front desk as there are multiple receptionists. The only receptionist that has provided excellent service and greeted me with a smile every time is Cindy.

Called and asked question about removal and the receptionist laughed at me. No question is ever stupid. Obviously asking a question because I don't know the answer. Way to make customers want to come to your business. I won't be from the conversation we had on the phone.

I agree with Bud dy. Dr. Goldman is great. I began taking one of my children to his practice and now is our family podiatrist. He is just great. But the sloth at reception desk just makes your day awful for no reason. My rate is 4 stars as the doctor is worth to pretend that the reception lady has not ruin your day. Also, I should say that I am afraid to write down this review, as she may take it back in the next visit.
