Terrible dr said I just had a little soreness in my knee which turned out to be a tear in my acl, mcl and meniscus which was diagnosed by another dr. Highly reccomend not to use dr Nguyen.

Thank you for all the reviews, they helped me to choose the best one in Toronto. I am happy so far with my alternative ACL injury's treatment which were recommended by Dr. Nguyen. I walked into his office limping using a cane and today walked out with a minor pain and able to do somewhat my activities, hoping to get even better in few weeks. I might need a surgery later but his alternative cortisone and the gel injection worked just fine. I highly recommend him with no doubt. Thank you Dr. Nguyen. A happy patient.

Highly recommend - terrific experience! Dr. Nguyen and his clinical staff took a genuine interest in diagnosing and solving my problem when others would not. Surgery for torn meniscus and general debridement to clean up damaged cartilage from years of running ultra-marathons was successful. Just had right knee ACL surgery by Dr. Nguyen on December 1, 2017. To save you time, I recommend anyone to get their surgery done by him. He’s the best in Toronto. He takes pride of his work and takes his time to ensure perfection. I’ve met two people who had their knee done by Dr. Nguyen and they all came back 100% and spoke highly of him. I will also be doing my physiotherapy at his clinic. I will update my review if there’s any problem.

I was having to wait 14-18 months for a London (consult only) when I found and contacted Dr.Theo. I was in to Mount Sinai Hospital in two weeks for the consult, and operated on for a torn miniscus 3 weeks later(yesterday). The Women's College Hospital facilities and staff were fantastic and the Dr. Theo service and work second to none. Dr. Theo, you and your team are outstanding. Thank you.

Don’t know what these other reviews are about but my experience here was quick, easy, and educational. Richard was of great service, filling me in on my current foot condition. This was my first time at an orthotics clinic and it couldn’t have been better. And on top of it all, Richard said he would get my orthotics within a week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Doctor was great, staff were great. For those of you with SunLife insurance be warned that this provider is not covered for reasons that won't be disclosed. I had to find out the hard way after being told they were at first by SunLife and spending over $700, only to be rejected later on. Whose fault is this? I don't think I'll ever find out.

I am not a regular patient here but I did call this clinic to purchase Sterishoe+. The customer service at this location was outstanding. Not only was the secretary able to secure my payment over the phone to save me time during pick up, she was friendly, gave me detailed instructions on how to use the product as well as created an invoice for me. She also made sure I knew what time they were closing and that when I went to pick up the product I could see the invoice was in the bag. It's great to know good customer service still exists. If the secretary is a reflection on how the clinic functions then this is surely a great place!

EDIT in response: You're correct, I did visit in 2016. And after I tried to schedule an appointment to address these issues and you're staff was very rude and stopped returning my phone calls. Also, it was $550, I have the receipt to prove it. It was a very dirty office. Also the most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. The orthotics I received were terrible quality, and they didn't help at all. In fact, they were almost completely flat. When I called to make discuss this, the person on the phone offered to make me a new pair but I would have to spend another $550 on them!

Went in last week, and was treated by Richard. He was very understanding of my needs, and very accommodating. I really appreciate him explaining the differences between my old orthotics and the new ones, and the difficulties I was having with my feet. I would definitely go back if/when I require new orthotics.

My first appointment was great - the doctor was friendly and everything was well organized. The shoes were/are super comfortable; I'm very happy I decided to try a custom pair. A year later I had a second appointment to try some new shoes. The wait was quite long with no explanation so I left and then emailed them. They quickly responded, apologized, explained why there was a wait and then asked me to try them again. I went back and I'm happy I did - the service was just as I had remembered from my first experience - professional, organized and I love the shoes. The wait must have been an anomaly.

Brilliant surgeon! I snapped my Achilles tendon, was missdiagnosed at another hospita who had put in a cast in plantar flexion. 2 weeks later I complained to my family GP and got federal directly to the HRRH Fracture clinic. That when I met her. That was +10 years ago. I had all injured both my knees and she has been the one to fix them. Outstanding person in every aspect!

I would not recommend this clinic to others. Michael Doherty was my chiropodist and when I went in for my assessment, he was not very transparent about the cost of the orthotics or the process in general. When I told him I had private insurance, he waived away all my concerns by saying my insurance should cover everything. He maxed out my insurance and gave me a bill at the end of it. He was also fifteen minutes late for an appointment, which was highly unprofessional. Overall, I don't think my time and money were worthwhile at this clinic.

Had an incredible experience coming here. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, they have tons of snacks and refreshments. But best of all it’s very high tech. They used a 3D scanner to create a precise model of my foot to make orthotics and the physiotherapy has helped in just a few weeks to reduce my pain from a 7-8/10 to near zero. Highly recommend.

I was in town for other medical stuff and really hurt my foot. It was a holiday weekend and I was able to urgently see two doctors at the clinic. They fixed my foot and solved my problems on the spot. I know back home I would not have been able to get treated and healed like that. Honestly, going forward, I may strongly consider flying to Toronto with any future foot troubles. They really came through both in a pinch and medically. The clinic staff were lovely, it was clean and efficient. They worked me into the schedule and there was no waits or delays. Five stars aren't enough, these guys deserve a million and one stars. Most amazing clinic and care team. I rave to this day about how well they fixed my foot. I was shocked about how much better it could feel after one visit. I went from hobble along with sharp pain to walking out (albeit with a supportive foot boot but still walking!). And now, months later, my foot is still 100%. So thankful for Academy Foot Clinic!

I wad at this clinic for day surgery. My intake was excellen. Surgery started with a conoclation from anastigolist and doctor performing surgery. Both explained upcoming events exclently. The issue was when I came through. Two of the three nurses had bad attitude talked down to me and were rude. I am not sure why they picked a profession where they are care givers. I was rushed out of recover in minutes after we had a disagreement about my ride home. The nurse threatened me with a $300 dollar surcharge. She told me there were law in place about discharge. After I asked to see these laws on Canadian criminal code I was told to be quite. She could not provide this information. Other than Mena a great experience. Just hope you don't wake up to this power tripping nurse. I call it ANS ( angry nurse symptom). I had a great surgen and that what counts at the end of the day. I wish more people would conduct them self's in a professional manner. Or mabey pic s job where they don't have to deal with humans.

Dr Ahn and his team were incredibly warm friendly along with being knowledgeable and detailed. Unfortunately he does have a long waiting list. I flew in from Sudbury to see him. Thank goodness I got his opinion as I have a severe and complex scoliosis and he made important recommendations about what should be done. I am willing to travel if needed to see him.

We waited (7) months to see Dr. Henry Ahn....we waited patiently and with hope! We went in to see Dr Ahn...his Associate was knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Ahn was cold, abrupt, rude and condescending. However having said that....after seeing (7) back doctors, he was the first one to be honest and tell us the truth about my husbands back....that it was hopeless and he needed a new back!!!! So all in all was it worth waiting 7 months to see him, I would have to say NO!!!

Amazing experience here! Doctor Ibey was very thorough in his consultation of my issue - the first Doctor that I felt listened to what I was explaining. I then worked with Derek for physio, he was great at explaining what was happening and why I needed to do certain exercises. He even went to the effort to read papers/research on my condition and various way of treating it in-between sessions. I was blown away with how committed everyone was to my recovery!

Had a very serious Motorcycle accident on July 12, 2011, I had 12 surgeries at the time and 4 since that date with the most recent in October 2017, Dr Nousiainen didn't just save my leg he saved my life! I can't say enough awesome things about this man, i've probably been back to the fracture clinic for follow ups close to 100 times and every time i see him he is awesome, very friendly, compasionate, caring, knowledgeable and always on the ball for such a busy surgeon, i really do think others would have removed my leg at the hip, he is truly an artist and i feel blessed to have him in my corner, his team and staff have been nothing short of incredible in restoring my life, he is a no B.S. guy and will tell you like it is but remember you have to do your part as well, work at 110% at rehab/physio and you will compliment each other in your recovery, i know it's a cliche but "no pain, no gain", i may be part metal now with a permanent rod in my femur and 14 fasteners in my hip and pelvis, a drop foot and 3 torn knee ligaments but i get around very well considering without any aids, i work everyday and spend most of my weekends working around my house and doing yard work, im not back to 100% and never will be but im much further than the permanent wheelchair option which was looking very likely, the damage was very extensive but during my 3 month hospital stay initially i realized you must work as a team and he will make your dreams become a realistic reality, Thank You for all you have done, impossible to do without You, your staff, Jim & Joanne at the fracture clinic at Sunnybrook and of course the Family of amazing people at Advance Physiotherapy in Brampton, where would the world be without you all in our medical system? i'ts not a team i wanted to be on, but im glad i was, i owe you all everything!

Friendly, professional, reliable service. I've been coming in monthly for treatment of a plantar's wart, which I had for ten years prior to coming. I experienced little or no waiting for my appointments, and booking was easy. The chiropodists were very helpful, gave useful advice on how to treat it between visits, and my wart is almost gone.

I don't have enough words to say how highly I think of Hanifa and James from Step by Step! As a flight attendant it is most important to me to wear pressure hose on my frequent flights. I call up from Israel to place an order and the the local team go out of their way to have what I need on hand in the clinic on very short notice! First of all, you the staff are all amazingly friendly and helpful. You feel welcome on the first visit, and you are greeted by name on subsequent visits. Great selection of shoes, and expert help in being properly fitted (this is no mall store). This wasn't my first time getting orthotics, but it was the first time getting it right. Proper plaster molds, and high tech analysis (not the old "step on a mat" nonsense). Very happy, and have referred friends and family.

I have literally never experienced someone in a doctor's office speaking to me as rudely as Ruth did. Calls me after hours to return a voicemail from 3 days ago, then reminds me that "people are lined up for months to get in here" and that apparently I was wasting her time trying to figure out an appointment. I had received a voicemail confirming an appointment for the same day, 15 minutes before the appointment. I had never made or been made aware of this appointment. I hope Dr. Lexier is worth putting up with that for whoever uses this clinic.
