I love Toronto Rentals. I had an amazing experience. The site was easy to navigate, had amazing 3D tour of all the available apartments, and it had very helpful and insightful neighbourhood guides to give me a taste of what it would be like to live in the apartment and all the things and activities to do. I think the most helpful tool was the search map to find an apartment in the right spot. It's a lot easier to get a sense of location rather than just having an address and searching on google. Overall, it is a great website if you are looking for a place to rent in Toronto!

Know your lease terms and tenant rights. Everyone in staff and management gives a different answer to the same question, and always give you a run around, or basically “too bad you’re out of luck”. Staff never admit fault, just that ‘we did try’, or ‘i’m not sure what the other employees told you’. You can email them or leave a voicemail and you won’t hear back. Zero accountability.

Cockroaches everywhere. They knew they had roaches before they rented to me, clearly

Be extremely careful! The 2nd day I moved to 111 building, all my jewelry was stolen and there was no forced entry. All the building staff have a master key to all units. Police said could do nothing because ther e is no evidence.I was told many similar incidents had happened before in these buildings (33,111,142). So scary!

Never rent here. Full of cockroaches and bugs. They enter your apartment without 24 hour notice. They pull bait and switches for apartments they show. The office is unhelpful and closes early. The super is incompetent and makes inappropriate remarks. Avoid at all costs. Additionally, they are building another building right in front of 141 so there will be no sunlight or privacy. Avoid avoid avoid. Add: -Roaches Everywhere. They are crawling out of my bathtub drain when I turn on the water. They are on my walls scattering when I turn on a light. EVERYWHERE. I've been dealing all of my food in jars for years because of how disgusting the roach problem is. -Mice and Rats. -Bedbugs. -Holes in ceilings of common areas leaking water and insulation for months. -Front door broken entire winter of 2017/2018. I'm talking a busted 4 by 8 chunck of D-grade plywood haphazardly snapped into a smashed door for MONTHS. -Full on ice covered windows and water damages. If you complain about the heat, the super will come to your house, look you up and down, and tell you to put more clothes on. Which meant a parka I would like to assume as it was the only piece of clothing remaining undonned. -Storage locker leaked water and ruined my belongings. I have pictures and video. -Front entryway distinctly smells of hot rotting garbage. Too bad you can't record the smell. -Persistant laundry room maintenance, water shut offs and broken common space lighting. The pool that you pay for is also never open. Especially in the winter. It is also no longer heated, and the saunas work less than half the time. If you go to rent here and they tell you there is a gym you have access to; that is a lie. -We were told we would have new floors and windows when we moved in. Still waiting many years later. Could not understand why floor was swishing and smelling. They literally installed vinyl flooring over food crumbs and garbage and don't believe you when you say there is a bug problem. PICTURES OH SO MANY. -Bathroom sink has flooded four times. - Multiple entries into residence without 24 hour notice. -Lack of due diligence regarding cleaning, garbage removal and maintenance of residences and common areas. - A dirty communal recycling bin was used as a food donation receptacle for the food bank. I have pictures. - Parking garage often smells of drugs and cigarettes. Garbage everywhere. I have pictures. -Unprofessional and unhelpful staff all around. Neighbourhood is great though. I would strongly suggest not moving in here as they are planning to build a building within spitting distance of balconies. No sunlight. No privacy. They are hiking the rent multiple times above board to pay for this while neglecting current tenants. They will try to bully you out of here to get new people in for higher rent. Find somewhere else to live. Please. People are leaving in droves from here which serves them more than it doesn't. Owned by liars, cheaters and thieves.

Horrible management. They had been rude, they don’t fix any issue and basically don’t care about tenants. My apartment is falling apart since day 1! Can’t wait for my lease to be over!!!

Employees told me not to use the laundry room unless I use bleach in the washing machine first. That should give you an idea for cleanliness. Also cockroach galore I've spoken to the management over 4 times and become a pest control expert myself. Finally moving out. It is cheap you get what you pay for.

I would not recommend renting in this building. (141 Davisville). We have battled cockroaches for the entire time we have lived here. The building has "treated" this issue twice and the bugs are back within days. We have spent loads of money and time to fill holes to prevent infestation but it never helps. The building management are horrible and have no problem lecturing you if you ask for their help after 6pm. Tenants feed pigeons in the yard and the birds make homes on your balcony, to which you will find out it is your responsibility to clean up after and pay for netting to prevent. There is a AirBnB operating on the 6th floor so you never know who your neighbors will be week to week. There is a resident on the 5th floor on the south side who starts screaming around 5am and sometimes lasts up until 2pm almost daily. The laundry costs continually go up along with the rent while no improvements are made to the building. The units themselves have broken and missing baseboards, terrible windows and heating so if its below -10, prepare to layer up. The cheap rent is not worth the headache of living here.

Avoid renting here! I've been living here for a few years and rent went up again. I *cannot* believe how much we are paying for a two bedroom INFESTED with roaches. Bugs are literally EVERYWHERE. I've spent so much money on chemicals and various products but the problem is building wide. I don't invite anyone over because it's so embarrassing when a bug runs across the floor. I also have a cute little mouse who likes to make appearances every so often. Management never answers calls or helps you when you need it. They do not return calls and make the simplest things difficult. It was even a battle to add a parking spot when I'm basically offering them more money. Water gets shut off all the time and alarms go off randomly. The pool is always closed for repairs and if you actually get to swim in it, there are clumps of hair or band-aids floating beside you. The parking lot has been under construction for at least half a year and there seems to be no movement. The saving grace is the super in 111. He is amazing. I am so excited to be moving out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard the owners were disbarred, that's why they work for their dad - cause they couldn't make it anywhere else.

Bugs is the least you should worry about living in this building!

There is always construction next to or above my room, waking me up constantly. starts at 8:30 ends at what ever time they choose. the staff are very rude and unmannerly and when you ask for help they get frustrated. The elevators in the building are the worst, take forever. Moved from my old building due to noise and now there’s more. I am only here 6 months if the year as I live in the U.S. and the main problem is the noise , especially when you want to study

This place is absolute garbage. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. If you’re looking for looking for a cheap place to live go somewhere else. The building is filled with bugs. The security is horrible. Apartments are always breaking down. Management does not care what’s so Ever. There are sketchy people all around the building smoking. Majortity don’t even live there. Mainly used by these thugs to smoke marijuana in the basement because security is that bad and lacks the ability to get up and tell them to leave. This building does not feel safe. Hands down the worst managed apartment I’ve seen in any country in my life. Whole team should be replaced with people that have some idea how to run a building and regard to tenants safety

The people at the front desk reception and the superintendents are extremely rude and unprofessional. Do not move to main square apartments!

They don’t even deserve 1 start but I have no choice but to give it . Elevator never works ! Always having issues and have to wait nice 10 minutes for it there is always water shouts down around 5 times in a month ! Security alarm systems always having issues just to bother us in he middle of the night or early in the morning ! Building is stinks especially in the enterance area ! And don’t even mention the people in the office they are so rude and not helpful at all !

This was the first apartment complex I called in Toronto. The photos looked great and the prices from the site looked manageable, and it is located in an area I thought was decent enough, at least for my needs. I scheduled an appointment to view a unit, and the day before the viewing I got a call from someone in the rental office who evidently was very frazzled? I kept the voicemail she left for a while as a joke because it was hilariously unprofessional. To this day, I'm not sure what she was trying to say. She commented on the viewing I had arranged for the next day, but said "unfortunately" something something "the unit, uh, we haven't had the chance" and then a couple of groaning noises and then *click* -- she just hung up mid-sentence. I didn't call back. I assumed she was trying to tell me that it was a unit that was already rented out? I honestly don't know. Unfortunately, this was the first of two disappointing experiences with Realstar's properties. Honestly the three stars are there for getting a funny experience outta the voicemail.

Moved in here 4 years ago and the place has continually gone downhill ever since. The latest fiasco is the numerous leaking pipes around the basement that management refuses to fix or says "We're aware of it.." and it never gets touched. Now it looks like the parking garage has turned into a rat infested garbage dump. Property manager doesn't seem to care a lot about it with the excuse "We don't have enough dumpsters". Don't believe me? The pictures speak for themselves.

Honest opinion from someone who has lived here for 3+ years. Don't move here. I know they are renovating the vacant apartments and the pictures look really nice. But you'll still have to deal with building fire alarms going off on a frequent basis, roaches (the building is infested, you can see them in the hallways) and homeless people and drug dealers outside. Not the ideal place to raise kids. Once you are in, they don't care about the tenants, eg - my washroom fan was leaking sewage (gross) from the apartment above. They fixed the leak but left the water damage in the ceiling. Now it's peeling and has black mold. We're having to throw away most of our furniture for fear of bringing roaches with us to our new place.

uhhh dont move here. the rooms are O.K and pretty big... but management doesnt take getting rid of infestations seriously enough. the building is swimming with bed bugs. they will fumigate but the bugs always always return, usually right away. if you go to the bed bug registry website this building and its tenants have been fighting bed bugs for years and are unable to get rid of them. imposibly hard psychological impact from these bugs and waking up with bites every single day despite copious amounts of effort to get rid of them. if you buy anti itch cream across the street the employees at the drug store will ask you if you live in "those apartments across the street" because they're so infamously known for pests

This failing high park apartment building is decidely low energy and is NOT the place you want to set up shop.

This review is for Minto. I tried and tried and tried and tried and tried to rent in one of their High Park buildings. They advertise apartments that aren't available, they don't have any sort of waiting list, when an apartment becomes available they will book you a viewing appointment a week away, then call you the next day to say the apartment is no longer available (gee, no kidding). How people ever manage to rent here I don't know. Do they book an appointment a week, and then just hope that something becomes available on the day they are there? It's ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. Good luck renting here, I gave up.

I'm going to be as unbiased as I possibly can , apartment reviews tend to be based around one instance that forever ruins or makes a tenant's experience there. This relates to 255 Glenlake. The Units: - Small, expensive for the size. They're currently renovating every old unit to a newer one with better everything but less space and higher prices. - The constant construction, renovations and such are the biggest problem here. If you work a 9-5 job monday to friday this is fine, but if you work at home this absolutely will be an issue for you. The noise is brutal, constant, and only getting worse once they start putting up more buildings. This has been my biggest headache living here. - It is not unusual to get 4-5 fliers a week from management with things that won't be available (internet, etc) or noise that will be carried out around you. This has been the case my entire time here unfortunately. The Building: - Clean, well kept. - Well managed in the sense that everything that needs to be done by law, or by best practice, is done. This also means monthly fire alarm drills, garage cleanings sometimes (200+ cars must move out for 2-3 days). - Everything works or has been fixed quickly. - 3 elevators, pretty standard but can be a wait sometimes. - Poorly managed scheduling / records keeping however. Been asked to assist them with their bike / car audits for the garage and storage areas. Why should your records become my problem? Is there also not a better way to schedule contractor visits to lessen the impact on units? - Garage is fine. Never had my door dinged either so I can't complain. The Grounds: - Extremely well kept. Whoever is doing them deserves praise. Nice gardens, grass always cut, animals frolicking around, it's pretty great. - Pool's great too. Same with the BBQ area. - The area is fantastic. High park and everything else, but you already know this. The People: - Lots of dogs (A GOOD THING, unlike what Iris said). - Lots of elderly, lots of young people. - All in all fine, never had an issue and met some stand up people. Feels safe and secure too if that needs to be said. Overall the real problem here is the constant interruptions to daily living that occur during the days. Working from home has been hell somedays. On Mondays they get this golf cart to haul full dumpsters from the garage to outside - it is impressively loud. Like I had no idea that much noise could come from a dumpster and a golf cart. Then people just start drilling above you, below you, your internet cuts off, you can't talk during a meeting cause someone is hammering or replacing flooring around you, etc. This isn't just Monday to be clear, that's only the screaming golf cart dumpster brigade. If this place had less in the way of rennovations and general work going on it'd be nice really. To be fair, I think it's entirely within Minto's right to rennovate but just wish they'd find some balance so it wasn't so constant. A week, a month of this I could tolerate, but I am not joking when I say it's been going on for well over a year. Every single day. I should have kept all the notices put in my mailslot. Conclusion: Do not rent here unless you can tolerate high-rise living and will be gone from 9-5 every day. EDIT: I did reach out to Minto when they responded. Nothing back. They have put up flyers in the elevators going on about how professional they are and how every request / feedback will be replied to in 1 business day. I don't care, but the irony also isn't lost. EDIT2: I had a conversation with Sarah Hicks, Regional Manager at Minto. She has just stated that some of these issues will go to a committee, however I am not the first to complain and have zero hope about this. This is lipservice at it's finest.

If you have a traditional 9-5 job, these units may be very pleasing to you. They are spacious and generally quiet (solid walls between neighbours). Pet-friendly too, which is getting increasingly hard to find. If you work from home, work non-traditional hours or are retired, the constant construction noise and smells will drive you crazy. These are high turnover buildings. Every time someone moves out, they gut the apartment and rent it for about $200 more. It's horrendous. Last year they redid all the balconies; this year it's the windows. As they are doing all these capital projects, your rent will be increased about 5% a year. People complain but Minto knows they can fill the unit if you move, no problem.

DON-T MOVE TO HIGH PARK VILLAGE! I moved to 66, Oakmount Rd about 10 months ago and nobody told us that we will have this unbearable noise every single day! We should suit them together! Not only happy with the noise they are making, and entering the suits every other week, now they are increasing all the rents to pay all the money they have spent and to the future construction starting soon. All the neighbors are looking for a new place far away from here ‘cause the new construction starts soon and will take years for them to be finished. Insane! We’re moving out!

It was way better before when we lived here, five years ago. These past two years it turned into a college dorm, noisy, banging doors, loud music, shouting, water pourong on the outdoor furniture and no management dealing with it as they want you to have witnesses. It's ridiculous really. The customer service have become so arrogant that when we submitted our vacation notice and we were made to go on foot there to also fill in a "special form", and they didn't send us any confirmation in ONE month, finally, after we called to inquire what's going on, we were told "what do you expect actually? a special note?" The swimming pool is great, it's clean in the hallways, and the apartments are not bad, the location is golden but no, just no. If you want to sleep and actually rest, this is not the place.

(66 Oakmount Rd or around) DON’T MOVE HERE! This is the NOISIEST building/area ever! And the worst thing is that you think this will be over soon but the construction will be going on for the next 5 years with these 3 more buildings they want to build. Insane! 9 months of noise now (since I moved here, every fu**ing single day). Only 2 elevators and they are always taken by the workers and I have to take the stairs or wait 30 minutes to get out of the building. I have regret every single day the decision to move here, I am only happy to say that I am moving out for good very soon! Can’t wait!

I have regret moving to High Park Village since day 1. The smells are horrible due to all the construction around, the elevators are always taken because somebody is moving in or moving out, or the workers needs them; and the other one available does strange things every time the other one is taken. The units have no AC and if you want to open the windows you won´t be able to talk or sleep at night because all of the noise from the outside (and I live in the 11th floor). Every other week somebody has to enter your apartment to check or fix something. Also every two weeks you need to leave the building if you don´t want to hear the fire alarm testing for 20 minutes (and I swear the noise is unbearable if you stay). Now we need to move out for one day because they want to replace the windows and nobody is going to clean after that but you. Not enough? Wait for it! Your rent will be increasing every single year and the new buildings construction will leave you deaf for the next 5 years; sometimes I can even hear from here the new buildings construction on Bloor, so I have a pretty good idea of what is going to be from now on living here. People is crazy moving into here knowing all this. I did not know ‘cause I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before. I’ll move out in two months and can't wait! Anybody wants some furniture? Oh, and the management is so rude because they are tired of so much complains. The swimming pool should be great but you can’t enter because it has not heat and the water is simply freezing.

Being a resident of this complex I have to say that the customer service is a hit or miss. The staff is mostly trained and friendly, although the resident's request take a long time to be fulfilled ( like a defect in the unit ). * The maintenance philosophy of this company is to patch and not to fix. They do not realize that with patching the value of the property and the return on investment is decreased. * The back entrance of 275 Main Street is most of the times dirty and not well maintained, and the second entrance door handicapped button is broken two times per month. * I would also love to know how often they clean the carpets of each floor. I would expect a better service and the amount of rent a resident pays here.

My Mother has lived in 265 for 40 years .... the building is still the same only new carpets and balcony but yet they want 1450 for a 2 bedroom and 2200 for a 3 all +hydro I am sorry but the area is unsafe with all the drug addicts that hang around the front of all buildings. great views but ur apartment comes with room mates .. cockroaches bedbugs and mice .. so just think of the price before u rent here cause its not worth what your getting

Transportation wise very convenient but apartment is not in good condition.

Whenever we went to management they would be to complain about maybe a outlet not working or our sink clogged "Yes they will be coming" but later they would not even come. Staff is horrible change them. They are always having lunch time every time I called for something. Anyways location is okay, subways near and go train.

An absolutely wonderful resident manager, Nick, very clean building, always felt safe in the building and neighbourhood, and a great location. The rent is definitely higher than it should be, and considering the apartments aren't updated (but very well taken care of). I think it might be because Hollyburn is a Vancouver based company, but for my last year of my undergrad (2015-2016) I couldn't have asked for more to be perfectly honest. It was worth the peace of mind to be at 250!

Didn't have a zero star option hence was compelled to choose 1 star. This property is a rip off now. There are many other rentals in the same neighborhood that are very competitive and offer a much better experience. In the recent past the property has made management changes and also bought other rental buildings, and as a result they have significantly deteriorated the level of service that they offer to the residents. By making cosmetic changes the property has been hiking the rent and this has driven many residents away. I highly recommend shopping on the same street for other properties that are way better.

Moved out from this building. The property is not what they claim to be. Residents have been moving out as there have been very high rent increases. Agree with Na Ma that there are many buildings on the street that are offering much better rates and are much larger units. Don't go by the outside looks they are deceptive! Once you are locked in the contract you will see how fast your experience will go downhill.

Minto at York Mills and Leslie are filthy apartment buildings surrounded by shopping carts (ghetto feeling). Every apartment has cockroaches and mine also has rats in between the interior walls. There are rat traps everywhere. Garbage chutes smell into the hallways. They are never cleaned inside the chute. No mat service so they are worn out. You must be sprayed several times per year. The laundry room is not fit for people who desire a clean space to wash clothing. Machines don't work but you are never told by even a posted sign. It is up to you to contact coinamatic to get a refund cheque but you must give them serial numbers of machines before they will refund. If you tell the office they do nothing. Never call for service. Roaches in laundry room too, along with elevators and hallways, in short all common areas. If you send in a work order you would be the exception if they only entered your suite once. It takes at least 5 times for them to enter your suite as they may change your taps, bust a hole in wall, do caulking, leak never fixed, do it again and again. Each thing is a separate "notice of entry". These buildings are under construction and will be for the next 4 years. They will not tell you when you move in. Everyday day last week they were drilling in apartments and entering of their own free will. They constantly turn off the water for a full day. They use any excuse to enter your suite but never get anything done. These 3 buildings are the ghetto of the neighbourhood and it is embarrassing to admit you live here. Having lived in this neighbourhood since I was a child I know these buildings have the worst reputation and we are not liked. Wait a few years before considering moving here. Your life will be hell and they don't believe in full disclosure.

I am a Google local guide, so you know this is not a fake review. Apart from the massive roach problems, the building maintenance is not good at all. Seriously consider another place, its not worth it living here for the high rent cost coupled with poor building maintenance. If you dont believe me, just come into the building and ask any one of the long time residents, " how is it living in these Minto buildings?" . The only reason why people live here is because of the great location, shops, groceries and restaurants, all within walking distance, great school district and convienience of public transit at your doorstep. Nothing else.

Bad experience now the new staff at the office are not helpful with an attitude im thinkin to leave the building and for thier prices you can go rent anywhere else

Please, for humans' sake, turn off the heater. It is 26-degree centigrade outside and 35 inside! We need to open all windows and turn on AC to stay alive! Are you receiving free energy from somewhere?

Unfortunately the quality of living and maintenance in this place has gone down dramatically. We’ve been living in the 740 building for almost two years now and noted that for the past year or so things started to decay. The maintenance in this building has become terrible and for the past month I started seeing the issue with the roaches as the previous comments mentioned. In the past we’ve never had an issue until recently. I went to the office at the beginning of the month to ask about what was going own and if I could schedule a spraying or inspection, the first one since living in this place. The lady seemed very uninterested and tried to imply that because I live in the 11th floor of the building this shouldn’t be an issue for me and if I was getting roaches it must be because of something else. Then She did admit that people living in floors 8th and under do experience this issue with roaches as they are closer to the garbage compactor, which is obviously not cleaned/ maintained properly if we are experiencing this issue and she also used the excuse that it is a 55 year old building and issues like this are expected. I have previously lived in older buildings and never had this issue! Nonetheless, she set a spraying for that Friday and we went away for the weekend as they said you had to leave the apartment for a couple of hours between 10 am and 4pm due to the toxicity of the fumes. When returned the following Sunday, it seemed like nothing was done. Prior We took everything out of the coverts in the kitchen and the bathroom for them to spray and they did not even move the stove or the fridge and you could see tiny roaches moving around. I went the next day again to the office and asked them to do another spray as they obviously did not do a good job. They came back that week and did the spray. It is now been 2 weeks since the second spray and the small roaches keep coming back. I have all my kitchen and bathroom things in plastic containers as I cannot put anything back because the roaches will infest everything. I clean and spray Raid everyday and I am even afraid of cooking anymore because of how things have become. Luckily I did not wait another second and decided to get out of this place and started looking for another better option as soon as possible as they are obviously not doing anything to fix the issue. This place has become expensive and unaccounted for. My trust and comfort in Minto properties has disappeared and I just hope someone that is thinking of renting in this place reads this review and thinks twice before committing to a lease. I even gave my notice more than a week ago andThey are even making it difficult for us to get the finalization to leave this place. I called the office and was put through the property manage voice message about a week and half ago and until this day I have not heard back from the property manager as to what are the next steps to our leaving notice. My husband went last week to the office to fill out the paperwork for the notice and he went back today to inquiry as to what was taking so long for us to get the finalization letter to the apartment. The admin is irresponsible as she told my husband that she apparently lost the paper he completed and made him complete another one. Then she said that the property manager is on vacation and there is no one else to look after this! Everyday you see more and more people moving away from this place and I do not blame them. So to answer the commentor below whether the issue of the roaches was fixed, the answer is no! It has actually become worse and it seems to be moving up higher floors. The administrative office does not follow up with you at all and do not even bother giving you a follow up explanation as to where in the process you are and good luck trying to call the office, the phone is either always busy or no one picks up.

If your planning on living here I'd change my mind this building is overran by cockroaches. Over priced and not worth it at all!!!! 1 star is the least I could give they deserve negative stars!

I was Wondering if they have fixed the cockroach problem cause i really want to check this place out, i have a friend who lives here and she said there are cockroaches in my friends apartment and i was wondering if they fixed it.

This is a great location and the building is full of wonderful people, I love it.

I have lived here for over 4 years and while the building does meet 100% of everyone’s wants, they do a good job at the basics - it’s clean, quiet, and my fellow tenants are nice.

I really enjoyed my stay with Sky View Suites. My apartment was so close to everything I needed and that was very handy. If I had any concerns or questions regarding my unit staff always responded very promptly to resolve the issue. The bi-weekly cleaning is very much appreciated as well. I would highly recommend Sky View Suites for long term stays in Toronto.

This company excels in customer service. The Apartment is maintained to a very high standard, the location is superb and there was even a welcome pack on the breakfast bar to get us going ! The late arrivals process is excellent and the help desk are friendly, easy to contact and nothing is too much trouble. Even booking the apartment was easy and the price is extraordinary value for money. I cannot believe the patience of the lady with whom we booked - amazing - thank you ! My stay with Sky View Suites was amazing. The suite I stayed in was as advertised and the location gave me easy access to work related activities located in the downtown area. The staff was very responsive when a request was sent out. I would definitely recommend staying with them if you are in Toronto on business matters. Thank you!

I couldn't ask for more when it came to services at this company. I've stayed in a few of their apartments and if I ever needed an extra frying pan or blankets, their team would have it for me in no time. All of their suites were comfortable and perfect locations.

I stayed at sky view suites for 3 weeks and the apartments were very nicely maintained. The location was good. The apartment were very neat and it had everything which made my stay perfect. Looking forward to visiting Toronto and staying in their apartment again. Thanks a lot once again for the pleasant stay.

Great experience and location! Nice modern accomodations and amenities! Super friendly staff! We enjoyed two weekends at two different locations. Both were very spacious suites with nicely decorated interior and great views! Both had nice modern gyms. Both had other amenities such as pool, lounge area, changing rooms, etc. Both were downtown with one overlooking the lake and the other in the middle of restaurants and shopping areas as well as conveniently located near bunch of companies, banks, etc. Looking forward to the next stay!

I stayed in Sky View Suites apartments twice. Both times had excellent experience. Location was perfect. Suits were in excellent condition and had everything I needed in a good order. Also buildings amenities were nice addition. Staff was excellent. Logistics done quickly and without delay. Suites are as advertised.

Of the five buildings in this area (2 south of us and 2 south of Danforth), this one is the best. Indoor pool & steam room. Bachelors, 1-2 bedroom units and the only building with 11, 3-bedroom two storey town houses. Our building is older than those other four, and we're on a different power grid. Often when there is a black-out or brown-out, our electrical either flickers causing computers to reboot or crash, and VCR's and microwaves to reset, while the other four buildings remain lit. Like that winter blackout a few years ago. We lost power and heat, but not water. So no elevators but we had emergency lighting. The four buildings south of us had no issue and went on with their daily lives while we froze to death. The bonus of living in this area is we're a 5 min walk to the subway, LCBO, two major chain supermarkets (Sobey's is open 24 hrs), a walk-in clinic, major banks, four chain pharmacies including a Shoppers Drug mart with a Postal pick-up, drop off location and various chain fast foods. At 15 mins walking distance we can get to a gas station, a Foodland (IGA), No Frills (across the bridge), Home Hardware, Dollarama, Carrot Common, and more. Because we're the oldest of the five buildings in this area, our pipes are old iron pipes and not the newer copper standards. I have a twin-tank under-counter water filter and after 4-6 months the water begins to taste and feel gungie for lack of a better word. During the cold winter months I can wait 6 months before changing the filters. But during the summer the filter just makes it to 4 months.
