A1 Moving Co. has taken care of all our 6 moves for over 25 years...I have referred Jeff and his team at A1 Moving to all our family and friends. We have bulky and heavy furniture, stainless steel appliances, and a lot of very fragile boxes just to name a few items. Jeff and his team moved all of our belongings without any damage...not even a broken glass in the boxes. No damage to any walls, stairways, doors etc.. We are super fussy and that's why we call Jeff at A1 moving. He is trustworthy with all your possessions and his pricing is very fair for his quality of work. I highly recommend A1 moving for all your moving needs. Thank goodness we found A1 moving !!!!!

I have had the pleasure of using Jeff and his boys on two separate occasions this past week (August 2017) the weather was hot and sticky both days. They never stopped, were courteous when addressed and happy to help. A1 made a potentially stressful experience seem like just another day at the office. The advice Jeff offered (when asked) was drawn from his many years experience, never biased and in my best interest. I moved today with Stacey's...I will admit that I chose them because they gave me the lowest estimate of any of the places I called. But I was pleasantly surprised...Robin and Marcel arrived on time and very quickly and efficiently moved my furniture and were just the same at its' destination. RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and VERY POOR SERVICE!!!!! Think Twice Before Calling Them!!!! On April 7th, these people showed up on our door at 8'clock even though the scheduled moving time was 11:00 AM. We decided to go ahead as these two young people acted like thugs and were intimidating. They charged us extra money, total of $900 (carried 5 big items only ) and left 18 boxes outside and drove off with no remorse. Initial quote was 650 + plus tax. The 'bill' they gave us was just an email confirmation and was not a proper invoice. We will be contacting with Ministry of Finance as this company ripping people off. Moreover, they damaged the building and we had to deal with superintendent and of course, they left their garbage outside. As below reviews confirm, this company can't deliver the service they promise, charge you extra dollars, and lack basic human skills and decency. I will never ever working with them again and I would suggest you to think twice before calling them.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! My dad arranged our moving from St. Catharines to Toronto on April 7th. Apperantly my dad gave the list of items a bit short so they asked for another 60 dollars (over 650 + tax) for the extra items. We said OK, and gave him $250 deposit. When we got to Toronto, he asked for the rest of the money before they started loading off the truck. Plus, he insisted we pay him cash (yes a great way to pay less taxes), because money transfer takes 45 mins to complete. After they moved our matresses, matress boxes, 2 couches and a dresser, they left about 18 boxes outside for us to carry because they said there were more stairs than they thought. They asked us about floors, not the number of stairs. We ended up carrying those boxes after we paid 900 dollars including taxes. Please do yourselves a favor and go with a quality company with quality movers and service. We’ll be reporting them to respective government officials for tax fraud.

I had called this company for my Aunt to help move my mother from one old age home to another same city Hamilton. They quoted us $100/hr for two guys and the truck plus equipment. I asked and they said no further costs just to be clear. We gave them $150 deposit they asked for. We asked them to be there for 12:30. They showed up at 1:30 and we had already taken the boxes down to the curb before they got there. We only had two dressers to move an end table and a shelf unit along with about 15 small boxes filled mostly with clothes very small move. I had anticipated about an hours time to move and we had planned to pay two hours even. They loaded the truck and then said it was a minimum 4hrs. They pretended to be a much larger company and asked who we spoke to when we called. I could recognize his voice and said you. He claimed he wasn't even in that day. When we called the office number his phone rang 3 times in a row and he said if no one is there it forwards to his phone. He drove the truck to the new old age home and then locked it and demanded we pay $400 at this point it had only been 40min since they got there including driving to the new place. We had to call the police and even called chch news. Then they agreed to unload it for an additional $100 we offered them as well as the $150 deposit we paid. At this point we had argued with them for 1.5 hrs. The offered at one point to leave it on the curb for $100 or they would take it back to the other home. Also tried to asked for $200 to unload plus the deposit. They unloaded the stuff and we had to help carry it in even. They only move the dressers and shelf. Ended up played $250 for what would have been 1.2 hrs max. Do not hire these clowns they are scammers and try to take advantage of people. We made a police report so hopefully they will eventually get charged for extortion or something.

I was told the move would be $400 due to having to pay the 4 hr minimum. I ended up being charged $452. Not the end of the world. The guys worked quick and efficiently and had my 1 bedroom apartment moved out and into storage in about 1 hour. Well worth the money.

We used this company for a household move. Arrival time at the departure point was right on time and loading was efficient and timely. Same the next morning at the delivery address. The team was courteous and professional and we would use them again. Our tip for moving - have everything ready packed in boxes so there is no waiting. The guys wrap the furniture to keep it clean and this got loaded quickly too with no damage after delivery. Good work and actual cost was slightly less than estimate.

Reading reviews about Bush Moving Company, I'm sorry, I fail to see how there could be any negative reviews with the absolutely positive experience I had with them, not once but twice. The communication prior to the arrival was very comforting, I felt very confident. The day of the move, all of the guys met me at the door,very professional and listened to what I had to say about items in my home. Work was quick, I admit I was a little worried as I was charged by the hour.. that worry left pretty quick when I saw them hustle. Not 2 weeks later, i needed them again. It was last minute and actually misjudged how much i had to have them move. From start to finish it was perfect!! Absolutely the best price around. Trust me when I say I've had them twice in 2 months and need them again in March and know I will receive nothing but the best from Bush. They have my trust and my word of mouth to anyone who is considering moving!

Had a small job, moving piano from my parents house to my house and then taking some couches and a table from my place to furniture bank downtown. Movers showed up on time. Very professional, and reasonably priced. Our yard was a mud pit due to some ongoing renovations, they had to lay down plywood through mud. Asked for a rake to clean up front yard. We declined as we felt bad they had to get muddy and we did not specify the condition of front yard. They worked with it and offered to clean it up. Despite the muddy boots, they left the house and piano spotless. They also found a loonie in our couch cushions and gave it to our son. Nothing but professional from setting up move day to moving day. Great logistical services! I would highly recommended this company for any job big or small. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

Josh and his team are very professional and highly skilled movers. They were very cautious with our furniture and took care in ensuring that there were no damages to the furniture or walls. They are very strong....they were a little hesitant in moving an arc trainer from my home gym as it is extremely heavy and bulky but made the move up the stairs in my old home and downstairs in our new home with no problems. Plus they moved all my dumbbells and weight plates and the rest of my workout equipment totalling more than 600 lbs. (They may now be out of commission after that move lol) These guys were great and we highly recommend them!!!!

From the initial phone call with Josh, they could not have been more friendly or helpful. The day of the move, they were on time and ready to go. Josh and his assistant were very careful with all the furniture. I was concerned that there was a last minute unforeseen change in the number of items being moved which also required dismantling and reassembling, but Josh put me at ease and everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend JR Moving Services.

Professional/Reliable/Go above and beyond! Josh and his crew provided my family wonderful service on a recent move. Josh and his crew showed up on time (actually earlier). During the move, their present themselves very professionally---very organized, very efficient, very careful about our furniture and house (make sure no scratches or damages). We also moved a washer and dryer. Actually, moving the washer is hardest part, however, it is the part shows how good JR moving is. The basement entry is very narrow and tricky, making the moving seems almost mission impossible, however, Josh, being creative and persistent, managed to help us move the washer nicely into the exact spot as I wanted. This was really the highlight of my day! I would recommend JR moving to any of my friends and family. Reasonable price, great service!

Absolutely horrifying. Do not use. Lied about what they would do, did half the job. Lost stuff, damaged things. Then tried to get out of paying for losses and damages. Quotes me on packing and unpacking. Did not pack the food. Told me to get a cooler. Did not unpack. scratches and damaged my bed frame and artwork. They sell full cost coverage insurance but then only agreed to do repairs with their own person and i still have lost items.

We recently used Harvey's Moving to move my Mother into a new home, and to move our belongings into storage while we wait for our new home to be completed. We were nervous initially due to another review, however I cannot imagine a better move experience! The movers were courteous, hard working men. They were very respectful of our home and our belongings. The experience from start to finish was excellent! They were also very competitively priced compared to other large moving companies of their stature. Later this week we move into our new home and we will be using them again for this move. We used Harveys Moving and Storage to move us from Fonthill ON to Niagara on the Lake. They came across very professional in our first meeting, fully committing to moving our household furniture including a brand new $40k Yamaha grand piano. On moving day they showed up and didn't have the proper tools to take the legs off the piano. They had to go to a hardware store to buy the proper wrench. They loaded everything else up and drove to our new home and that's where the disaster begun. Here is a summary of what happened: 1. As they started moving the piano my wife saw that it was falling and asked them to stop and reset the piano. They told her to "shut up and go back into the house, they know what they are doing". They threatened my wife saying they will just leave the piano in the rain if she doesn't "go back inside" was their exact words 2. They ended up dropping our piano and proceeded to drag it across the concrete walkway. Resulted in thousands of dollars of damage. 3. It started to rain during this fiasco and they left the piano sitting outside while they called their manager to discuss the situation. 4. We contacted the manager to discuss the situation and didn't get a call back for days. When he did call, he was as bad as his workers to speak with. This was our worst nightmare coming to life and the company we contracted to do the move wasn't stepping up to take responsibility. What a horrible experience all the way around. I'm going to leave it at that but am happy to share more details with you. Bottomline, if you care for your belongings, don't use this company.

The worst company to deal with. The shipper told me directly deal with them and gave me the tracking number.When ever I call them they keep telling me that the Toronto Terminal is busy and someone will call back. That call never came and I am still waiting for the shipment. Already 2 days delay. I have lost a major customer because of Manitoulin Transport. Please be aware and do not lose your valuable businesses or customers.
