Where do i strt: since the time i got charged, to my first apprnce, to the time i was ready to retain Brenda, she was alwys thr for me over the phone; & later in evry aspect frm court to personal life & advice ovr the phn after i retained her. My chrge was a criminal one which was complicated further by the threat of the psycho accuser. She dropped the charge in just 1 month using evry resource pssbl before it went to trial. She showed the face of the lying accuser to the court and used a very expert method (not offered by any other lawyer) to drop the charge. She even ansrd my call at 4 am and gave me every advice possible to survive the hardship until the court is over.

I was facing a 60 day consecutive sentence, fines and most likely a long probation term for a 2nd dui charge. I work full time in health care so this would have been devastating to my life. I was looking at losing everything. I never had a lawyer before but I got a good vibe after reading the reviews of this firm. Turns out, after meeting with David and Dana, they are not a "firm". They are actually good, honest people who are doing a job, yes, but who also care about you and are there to help. They never made me feel like I was a lesser person because of my situation. They were always there answering emails and phone calls when I needed them. When it seemed like the world looked at me like a bad person and a criminal, they looked and treated me like a human being. In the end, David came through. Instead of 60 day sentence, I got a 30 and only weekends. No fines. Shortened probation period and a sense that everything will work out. David worked with me on payments for his services and the price was very reasonable. Whomever is reading this post, I know its awful whatever you are facing and even with a lawyers help, it will still be difficult. Heelis Little Almas and Murray is a top notch law firm in downtown St. Catharines. Full disclosure, this firm is a client of my telecom business. As such, I am a regular visitor to their site. The building is a quaint century home that was converted into a very comfortable office with multi-floor offices for the various lawyers, support staff, etc. Meeting rooms are private and well appointed and the legal team of this company is very experienced in a variety of disciplines. I came to meet James Almas years ago when I was having ongoing issues with my ex husband.He was personable, fair and I will also say very aware of peoples finances. He did all of the agreements and work involved with what I needed. When all was said and done, all that was left was court appearances. Because I didnt live in the Niagara Region anymore, he advised me of another good lawyer in my region as he stated it would cost far too much to have him come to court for me. My ex had called Mr.Almas at one point on the phone after receiving a letter from Mr.Almas. After their conversation my ex stated, "call your wolves off, I dont want to deal with him in court". I have found myself in need again years later....same ex husband...I will DEFINATELY be calling Mr.Almas again. He is fantastic!!

A few years back, Robert DiLallo helped us out when we were having some trouble with our old landlord. We had bedbugs in our apartment, and the landlord kept sending us nasty letters demanding we reimburse him for the exterminator. I contacted Rob about this and asked his opinion, and he explained that the letter this guy wrote to us was a farce, and was just trying to intimidate us. Rob sent him a letter saying that he had no legal right to try to claim money from his tenants, that he could not bully us like this, and our landlord finally backed off.
