Honest Experience- Pros: Dental staff I encountered were very nice and the space was clean and modern. Cons: Each visit when I came (went twice) I was seen 30+ minutes late. On my first visit my insurance was accepted without issues. On the second follow-up visit they charged me personally on top of my insurance $150. When I questioned why I got vague and rude answers from the receptionist. After pushing further she finally admitted she had charged me in error but couldn't refund me, only her manager could the next day. She was very defensive about her mistake and gave me ZERO apology. Extremely unprofessional. I don't think she should be working in customer service, clearly doesn't know how to treat people. I wouldn't be as upset if she had at least admitted her mistake and said sorry. I went back the next day to get my money back and was told by the manager I had to come back again later when the dentist was in so the cheque could be signed. Yet another trip, out of my way. They had no way of putting my money back on my card or giving me cash. If I had not pushed they would have pocketed $150 from me. Watch what you are being charged for. Overall big waste of my time. I have already told multiple people not to come here and will keep telling more. They will lose many potential patients from my experience.

I’ve been coming to this clinic for over 3 years now, and it’s become my sister’s and mom’s dental clinic also. The hygienists always do a great job and all have great bedside manners. They make sure you’re comfortable and take the time to do a thorough job. They taught me how to floss properly and with every visit they’re amazed by how much my teeth have improved! No bleeding at all at the latest appointment :-) Dr. Sobhi is personable and has extensive knowledge and impressive background. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate my mom, sister and me, and we are very grateful to have met her and her team.

I went to KingWest today for my first dental appointment in 3 years (yay insurance!). The waiting area was clean and so were the offices. From the booking process (with OpenCare) to arriving at the front desk, to the technician and finally speaking with the dentist, my experience was great! I am a little nervous about going to the dentist and get uncomfortable fast in the chair. Everyone was accommodating and made sure I was comfortable, and were happy to answer all the questions I had. They deal directly with my insurance company which was great as well. I have already made my second appointment!

THE BEST DENTIST in Toronto 🙌🏼 I have been a patient for four years. I had many treatments done (cleanings, x-rays, crown, root canal treatment), I have never experienced pain or discomfort during procedures and usually my pain tolerance is below zero. I was treated by Dr. Sohbi, Dr. Rojia, Dr. Ori and the hygienists multiple times. They are OUTSTANDING! Very professional, kind, honest, patient. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The office is modern and beyond clean. LOVE IT! I have a busy schedule and they are available late hours (super flexible), even on the weekend. Last year, I had a toothache on a Sunday (of course). The practice was open (I could not believe it - life savior 🙏🏼!) and I was able to see Dr. Ori one hour after my phone call. My 4 year-old had her first dentist appointment last summer with Dr. Sohbi. I was nervous as usually kids are scared of dentists. My daughter had a good time! Dr Sohbi was caring and gentle as usual. I usually do not rate doctors but I know how difficult it is to find an excellent dentist in Toronto. Dr Sohbi and her staff are THE BEST! 💜

DO NOT GO THIS DENTAL CLINIC!!!! Just for asking more money from you! I was very diappointed about their service. My insurance is 100% covered by my insurance company. And I went to this clinic in the first and second time is all covered by my insurance. But I went the third time, they did some X-ray. And in the end, they told me that I need to pay 120. and the insurance company will give me the money back in 2 weeks. But after 2 weeks, they told me that i owned them X-ray fee. They will deduct the money from the 120. Why dont they tell me how much should I pay before they do all the X-ray?

It's all about the people! At reception my arrival is always promptly acknowledged with a smile and my name and "I'll tell them that you're here." The interaction with the dental health professionals is warm and relaxed. Following a more serious procedure, I've had calls from reception at my dentist's request to make sure everything's alright. And they are fantastic: From the gracious, capable, communicative and ever helpful reception staff, to the brilliantly professional, kind, gentle and efficient hygienists (I've had three in 25 years - wonderful consistency) to the man at the helm, Dr. Sidney Zucker - the 'dentists' dentist - who inspires confidence every time you sit in his chair, is as considerate as possible and, from a lay persons perspective, is as knowledgable and capable as any person can be in their profession. Dawson Dental -forever Queen St. Dental for those of us who are lifers - is the best dentist in Toronto. Bar none.

DO NOT TRUST THE WHITE LADY DENTIST WORKING HERE - SHE IS INCOMPETENT AND LEFT A DEEP CUT INSIDE MY MOUTH ON THE LEFT GUM. SHE TRIED TO EXPLAIN HERSELF AWAY BY LYING ABOUT IT AND UNTIL THE ANESTHESIA WENT AWAY IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PAINFUL AND BLEED SIGNIFICANTLY. This dental office seem to allow any random dentist to join and perform services. I do not recommend them at all. Best to find dentists outside of the GTA who have better moral values.

I would give this zero if I could! Dr.Saeedi is a good doctor by the book, however: -she needs to be more honest to her patients, accept a bad service and fix, and hire more professional assistants who hold that beeping machine on the right tooth, not lips, when talking! -together with her brother, or whoever that office manager is, they always charge you double! Keep going there and in a long run you will go broke! I found a more honest dentist in my area, charging reasonably for a better service, should have done this way sooner!

Dr. Iman Nazaran is truly prudent and professionally a savvy dentist. I would like to share my experience since it worth it to know why and it's not just a complement. I am so happy that I found him back in 2016 after some researches and through a friend of mine who is a dental hygienist. At that time, he was working in Martindale Dental Clinic and I went to him for my broken molar tooth. Before I go to him, I went to two other dentists and also U of T dental clinic. After taking X-ray and doing cold and hot examination, they all advised me to take it off or do a root canal and crown. And they said because more than half of your tooth is gone, it’s not worth it doing root canal even. Anyway, I was so upset and as I said finally I went to Dr. Nazaran. He reviewed the x-rays and did the hot and cold exams and recognized that the decay is very close to the nerve but still it’s not exposed; however, He said I start emptying the corroded surface and will see if you have pain.I said ok, of course I prefer to have my tooth without root canal. Anyway, after working on my tooth he filled it without root canal and worked for around two hours on my tooth and made a custom tooth just on the root of my broken tooth and the remaining part of it. Still my tooth Is okay and any dental I go, the dentist admires his job. I also recently went to him for fixing a non-completely filled gap which another dentist caused it and couldn’t fix it for the second time. And I had a sharp pain when a non soft food hit my tooth. Dr. Nazaran fixed the gap and I’m okay right now. I just shared my experience to appreciate and high light his responsibly work and skills at the same time. He is also very nice and patient and ethical too.

Had a great experience at Mapleridge dentistry! The service and atmosphere there were wonderful. We were greeted by happy faces once we arrived. This was my first time being cleaned by Samantha (hygienist). She was friendly and professional. One sign I always look for: no splatter or dribble when they rinse your mouth with the spray after cleaning! She was awesome. This was also the first dental visit for my 3 year old. My kid was a little nervous but Samantha (with 6 months of pediatric experience) took the time to get her comfortable. She asked her questions, showed her the tools that would be used, let her hold the tiny mirror, and asked for permission at each step. My kid really liked feeling in control and let Samantha clean her teeth without any tears or struggles! She was also very excited to choose a prize from the toy chest. I would definitely recommend you coming here with your little ones. Thanks Samantha and mapleridge staff!

I’ve never been great about taking care of my teeth. When I moved to Toronto, it had been years since my last dentist visit. While working in the King West neighbourhood in 2015 , 720 King dental was recommended by a colleague. There was a lot of work to do - Dr Hao and the team made every accommodation to suit my schedule, provide in depth analysis of trouble areas, and put me on a path towards better dental health. As emergencies arose (broke a tooth, needed wisdom tooth pulled), they always found a way to fit me in promptly. Their office is state of the art, and I can’t say enough about how friendly the entire staff at the office is (shout out to Casey, Robyn, and the reception team members). After every visit, I’d get an email from Dr. Hao to check in on how things were progressing. Even after changing jobs and moving to the opposite side of Toronto, I continued to visit Dr Hao and the amazing team at 720 King Dental. I left Toronto early in 2018 to road trip east, then back to a western destination. When we happened near Toronto, I called the office and they were able to slot me in for a cleaning AND two subsequent fillings within the same week!!! Dr Hao even provided me with some BC dentist recommendations and sent all of my history to me via email so I’d be able to make a smooth dental transition. I might consider saving all of my dental work for when I pass through Toronto, just to continue working with 720 King Dental.

When I asked a straightforward question about the evidence to support regular cleanings at the dentist, I was brusquely told that I should seek a second opinion and had my appointment cancelled, without ever receiving a good answer to my question. The only good thing I have to say is that you can get in for an appointment day of, which is initially why I went. I came in because I had pain in my teeth in the area she had filled a cavity 6 months prior. After doing a couple of tests, she concluded that nothing was wrong and that my cavity was too tall and she shaved it down. During the shaving, she hit a spot and I told her that it hurt. She dismissed that and let me go quickly. I paid an incredibly unreasonable price for the fact that I left with more pain than when I had initially come in and she had solved nothing and just rushed me out. That evening I was unable to eat or brush my teeth, and the next morning was even worse. I immediately sought out another dentist who did not take advantage of the fact that I was in pain and helped me, who took the time to really see if something was wrong and fixed my problem.

Having recently moved to the area, I contacted a few local dentists including Martindale Dental at King West. Immediately, there were a few things that stood out: - Quick response: I sent an email to all of the dental offices at the same time, Martindale Dental was the only one that responded within a few hours. - Top notch customer service: They offered to help transfer over my X-rays from my previous dentist, then following up to book an appointment. During my appointment, they exceeded expectations as well: - As a first-time patient, they went performed a thorough exam - much more in depth than my previous place (which in hindsight, was more rushed compared to the time taken here). - They explained everything in layman’s terms after the exam and showed me images that were taken so I could understand what the problem was and make an informed decision for treatment. At previous dentists, I was only told what I needed and never knew for sure if a treatment was necessary or an option. - The dental hygienist was extremely friendly yet efficient and did not waste any time. - The printer was broken so my insurance had to be submitted manually. When I hadn’t heard back in a reasonable amount of time, I followed up and they immediately looked into the issue and got back to me. Note – reason ended up being the Canada Post strike delayed the mail to my insurance company. They resubmitted electronically same day that I followed up and everything was good 😊 Overall: Highly recommended.

It has very friendly staff who are also very professional. Never once did I go through anything painful or feel uncomfortable being there. In addition, they help you find the best cost for whatever you're doing, which is amazing since a lot of the other dentists I went to didn't go through the prices like them. Including explaining in detail what they're doing and what they find after the x-rays and stuff in an understandable way. Really and truly they're exceptional and I love it hear. This is the 1st dental facility who i have been to and have a great experience. They really make it personalised by sending bday cards n follow up calls to make sure the patient is doing ok. That is something we are missing from majority. No doubt why you guys are growing even after 30 years.

Things seemed to start out fine. The staff I have had interactions with were very professional and accommodating. Then, after taking impressions and making a trip to a lab for pictures and custom colouring my “case” is lost! Who is to blame? Lab? This office? So after weeks of adjusting my schedule to make these trips, I’m now back at square one. Need new impressions and will probably also have to return to the lab for pics/colouring. Hopefully this time around things will be done correctly. I don’t even want to return to this dental office as all of this has left me with negative feelings re: how things are handled here. However, my bill for the work was paid in advance as this office doesn’t start any work until the bill is paid in full. I just want to get the work that I’ve paid for completed and move on. I’m hoping to update this review on a more positive note in the near future when the work is finally finished. Please note: The dentist I am working with is wonderful! The staff overall are wonderful! I’m not sure who is to blame in this situation so it taints my overall experience.

I am livid with the lack of communication that the staff have with patients and how they treat patients. The quality of work done here is poor. The doctors shrug patients needs and do not pay attention. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and was in pain. I brought her back 2 days later since she was in even more pain and they did not even look at her and sent her home....1 week later they figured it was an infection and also needed to be drained. Fast forward 2 months later and we are still having issues. The dentists there should not be doing what they do if they dont know what they are doing!

I have been going to this place for years, and because I constantly get great service,I feel the need to write this review. My very first visit I got a customer experience survey which I did not fill, I do not give my reviews so easily based on one visit.The staff are amazing, each one of them and that includes front desk, customer service agents, dentists, and hygienist. But I gotta give a shout out to my hygienist Naomi, she was the first person I saw. I saw one other person and she wasn’t as great as Naomi and requested Naomi at all times, even ask them to add notes on my file, ONLY NAOMI LOL. She takes her time, makes me feel welcome, doesn’t rush, very friendly and most of all get the job done. I feel comfortable with her, she deserves a gold medal 🥇.

Dr. Gajjar, You are running an amazing facility with professional doctors and staff ! I would like to start by thanking Dr. Charan Virk, who is a life saver for my wife, she gave us belief and all the reasons to not lose hope. It all started with one appointment of my wife with her at your clinic, where we went to see her to blunt my wife's tooth's on the recommendation of an ENT specialist who is in his 70's and considered to be an expert in our city. Many dental clinics refer their patients to him for the oral problems. My wife got a small blister on her tongue and seen almost 6 doctors before seeing her and every one said that that it is just a blister and nothing and it will go away soon. It was Dr. Virk after the appointment insisted us to get a biopsy done urgently, which we did and results showed that my wife had an early stage 2 oral cancer. It was a heart breaking news for my wife and the whole family. We started the journey of her treatments and now waiting for her final results. All the expert doctors confirmed to us that nothing was wrong with my wife except her, if we did not follow her instructions, we would have been still waiting for her treatments or biopsy. She did not leave our hand at any time and followed my wife's treatments very carefully and also made sure to answer all our questions without any expectation of fees or rewards. Doctor and the whole team is very soft spoken, sensitive, caring to the emotion of her patients. We are very confident that my wife's final results will show her getting 100% better and back to normal life very soon. There are no words to thank her for the good work she has done to my wife and the family but we always pray that she gets all the blessings and goodness in her life. Tour team recently treated my son also for some dental work and I found the doctor and the team to be phenomenal and a through professional, they take their time to treat the patient and never rush. I wish that all the doctors and their team members show the same sensitivity, compassion and helping nature which she shows. She is an asset to your organization... By writing this review about her I get emotional. I can write multiple pages about her goodness but I am sure you would get the message which I want to convey. She and her team should be rewarded for their amazing work. Once again tons of thank youuuuuuuuu... Dr. Gajjar, Dr. Virk and the team !

A filling fell off from one of my teeth, and my dentist was fully booked. I didn't want to wait for a week and take chances. I live in the area, so I made an appointment at the Dental Emergency clinic at Yonge/St. Clair. Dr. Greenwood was amazing, she provided a very fast and high quality service, so my tooth was saved. Very friendly and efficient staff overall. They also gave me my X-ray results to take to my dentist and provided an insurance receipt (they don't accept benefits, so one has to require reimbursement with insurance afterwards). Thank you, great service.

Avoid it like the plague! I have a very bad tooth ache and want it to be pulled out, so I call at 9:00 pm to make an appointment for the next day. I am told I have to call back at 8:00 in the following morning. I call at 8:00 am the person who picks the phone up, named Ariel who is very conceited and rude, tells me I have to call back at 8:15 to make an appointment! At 8:20 am I call back to try to make an appointment. I tell them I want a tooth extraction and ask how much it will cost. Now I am told we can't pull it out, we do not have an oral surgeon in case it gets complicated, but I can come in for the dentist to look at it, of course I will need an X-ray, and he will also charge me to have the examinations! GREAT!!! In other words, would end up paying twice; once for their examination and once again at an oral surgeon!!! This was a total waste of my time, they could have told me the previous evening that they do not pull teeth out if it gets complicated and find somebody else!

I was in a lot of pain and needed help asap. Found this place on google. Called at 7:30am on a SUNDAY, made an appointment for 8:30am. I had Dr. Gillian Lardzberg. Came in and had an emergency Root canal but just opening to release the pain. She started the process and was completely transparent on what she did and what my regular dentist will have to do after. She then took the time to visit her online sources to make sure medication I was taking was ok with breastfeeding and prescribed alternative medication that was safer for breastfeeding. I am very grateful.

Great experience! I had a horrible toothache all night and I called at 8am on a Sunday. They were able to see me immediately and I had no wait times. The staff at reception were very friendly and the dentist was talkative, informative, and very professional. I was in and out in <30 minutes (including the time it took to fill out the form). Prior to attending this location, I had gotten my wisdom teeth out 5 days earlier. On Christmas Eve, I had unbareable pain in both lower sockets so I scheduled an appointment for Christmas morning at this place. The “dentist” was shocked that I had gotten wisdom teeth surgery because she said she “couldn’t even find an extraction site”. She said I healed really well and that my pain was psychological because nothing was wrong. I paid $100 for her to invalidate my pain! The day after Boxing Day (was still in so much pain) I went back to my original surgeon and he said it was dry socket and treated me for it. The pain immediately went away. This place couldn’t even find an extraction site when I had surgery only 5 days prior?!? Such a waste of money and time especially around the holidays when I could have been easily treated & enjoyed time with my family instead of suffering with the unbearable pain of dry socket. Will never be coming back. Horrible, horrible place with unqualified dentists.

Had 2 wisdom teeth taken out here a week ago and have had nothing but issues since I stepped foot in the door. While paying for my x Ray's at the first appointment the receptionist was incredibly rude to the dental assistant who walked me up to the counter. She has very condescending and short with her and made it a very uncomfortable experience for me to watch...not mention i am felt bad for the dental assistant. Not nearly enough freezing was in when Dr. Kevin started yanking on the bottom tooth so lucky me got to feel things tear! I was told 2-3 days for the stitches to come out...well 7 days later one is still there! The pain meds I was prescribed were terrible and I ended up having to get another script from an after hours clinic for T3 just to be able to sleep through the night...this was 2 days after the surgery when I decided I was tired of hurting constantly. Then we come today. Call at 1pm on a Thursday.. a very common time to be a fully functioning business...because I think it's a bit infected. The receptionist I spoke with was again very rude. She was incredibly disrespectful. But more to the point...why have the office open until 5 if you cant even take patients for half the working day because they are gone to a conference. Couldnt offer me an appointment until monday morning. So if I do have an infection then it should be sure to have spread to my bloodstream by monday morning. Thanks guys!

My friend ended up in the hospital and nearly died because Rocco Dipaolo failed to prescribe antibiotics prior to the extraction of some teeth in my friends' mouth. My friend was in I.C.U. because the air passage was closing up. The doctor on call at the hospital had to force a breathing apparatus deep down into my friends' windpipe because the airway had become comprimised. To make matters worse Dipaola failed to make contact with my friend to see how she was coping post surgery. SHAME ON YOU DIPOLO, YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR LICIENCE REVOKED. MAYBE I SHOULD CALL THE COLLEGE AND REPORT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Highly recommended for timely, friendly and ethical service. They will do the necessary work properly . I had a root canal recommended over 20 years ago from a different dentist. Here Dr. Di Paola filled the tooth. Less pain, less invasive, less expensive. Staff get along well with each other and there is low turnover.

The secretary was amazing and answered all the questions I had about my insurance. The dental hygienist did an amazing job as well. Dr. Di Paola is the most down to earth dentist you will ever find. When I had a crown done it was actually a mini retreat. It was a longer appointment. I could have gone home for a couple of hours while I waited for the crown to be made, but I chose to stay. I sat in a massage chair, with a cozy blanket and watched a movie on Netflix. They put in my crown and off I went. No more waiting for couple of days and two appointments.

This is an amazing dental office it's like your at a spa. From the massage chair, being offered a beverage and a snack feels very nice when you are used to cold offices.
