This location doesn't deserve only 1 star. That's silly. They're expensive but everywhere is. Their doctors have a lot of education and credentials, and the front staff is always welcoming and polite. I haven't had to say my name or which doctor I'm seeing since my second appointment . Not every doctor is right for every person. That's going to happen sometimes, doesn't make this a bad place.

Canceled my appointment with one days notice telling me I can’t resheduale until after the new year. I have waited quite some time to receive help. You would think as a doctor if her word load was getting extensive she would have come to some conclusion and would have not booked further appointments. You’re better off elsewhere

Just wow. Front desk staff is not very welcoming for the type of establishment it is. It took too long for someone to respond to a request for an appointment, and it wasn't until another doctor sent a request for appointment there was a follow up. Glad Google has the address since the reminder voice mail was lacking that, and so was the reminder email. While I do not doubt the doctor's credentials, I do doubt the pairing with her. As well her choice of current popular phrases to emphasize the loss of an appointment and severe let down of the actual process. I'm pretty sure if I had chosen chemical intervention or requested time off from work, I may have been taken slightly more serious. And the offer of a free consultation because of a lost appointment at a time when the doctor should have know or listened to during the initial meeting, does not work for our dinamic was just adding some salt to the wound. Certainly hope noone has to go through this experience when fragile.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting David due to a court order for a Section 30 Custody & Access requirement. David was very courteous, pleasant and thorough when interviewing myself and observing my sons and I. David has a very calm and peaceful manner which put us all at ease and helped to make the whole experience a little less stressful. His recommendations with regard to Custody and Access were reasonable and thorough, taking into consideration requests/concerns from both parents. I would gladly recommend David for any counselling/Access requirements.

The therapist uses a one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. He does not listen; he pigeon holes you into his version of 'therapy' without accurately assessing the circumstances in your life. He yells at his clients and he is profoundly judgmental. I would never recommend his services.

I have been receiving chiropractic care at ARC for 10 months and I find them to be very helpful. From the intake process to the personalized treatment plan and regular exercises, they make you feel like part of the family. All of the staff has good bedside manner. I'm so disgust by these receptionists at Ajax Rehabilitation centre. Professional behaviour should be a major factor dealing with the general public. Just about to make an appointment after finishing my treatment, I am so disappointed and disgusted by their behaviour.. Ajax rehabilitation centre was warm and friendly ...... What happened????? I was advised to attend Altum based on a WSIB injury, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by their staff and instantly felt welcomed. Julian my physiotherapist was infomative, knowledgeable and invested in my recovery. Heaven forbid you find yourself needing a great group of physiotherapists but if you do... Don't hesitate to give altum a shot.

I saw Shannon at her Port Perry location and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with therapy. Shannon was incredibly unprofessional and I actually left her office feeling more anxious and worse off. I expect to be challenged during therapy but Shannon was insulting and rude. I asked for my file to be sent to my new psychologist and there was barely a file. Shannon didn’t take notes for any of our sessions. She also didn’t follow through with paperwork that was to be filled out for the government and then she blamed her intern. I had appointment times changed without my being notified. My wife was charged twice for an assessment which was never rectified. If you are truly in need of psychological help don’t go to New Beginnings unless you are looking to be robbed and treated poorly.

My family’s experience was an extremely poor one...Tracy (Psychologist) was fantastic but the office is a nightmare. We had overcharges, hidden charges for over $1200 dollars, missed deadlines and the report was riddled with errors. For the sake of being able to focus on the issue for which you sought this service, save yourself a world of headaches and choose another service provider.

For the most part the people here seem friendly. But, it wasn't as good a service as I was led to believe. Firstly I was sent under the pretense that this was a FREE service, not so! Also I arrived a little after 9 am on a walk in basis, fine. Waited until 10 to see intake, Ok, after a quick meeting it was determined that counselling was available........then the soft sell. A $40 fee for the service was being requested, I didnt have it but pretty much felt obligated to pay $20, fine again. I was then returned to the waiting room at 10:15 and informed of my appt time ( 11 am. ) along with other clients who received their times as well. Well everyone seemed to be rolling in at their respective times ( even those who came upwards of an hour later than myself). Fine again. I sat for 25 mins after 11 when my ability to sit in one place had diminished, ( due to injuries and ADD). Plus watching the waiting room empty around me was disheartening. Although other clients would receive updates, I myself was not shown the same courtesy. The kicker was the worker who finally called at 11:26 more or less made it sound like I had walked out prematurely.......... I'm at a loss for any other words........... I don't know......... This was supposed to be an assessment as to whether I would have my children counseled here. I'll be looking elsewhere.
