Melissa and Laura are amazing trainers, great to work with and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately when we were in the second half of our intermediate session they had hired a new woman who was completely useless. This woman is a Golden Retriever lover and spent the majority of the classes talking about her dogs and the breed. Near the end of the paid sessions, myself and another paying customer actually walked out in disgust as we were left standing there while the "trainer" conversed with others in the class who also owned Goldens. (We were the only 2 who did not) They talked about breeders, diet, past dogs, shows, etc. I'm pretty sure I signed up for a training class, not a Golden Retriever lover's club meeting. Complete waste of money. If you can get a class with Laura or Melissa, you'll have a great experience, and will learn how to work with your dog. But if you end up with the other woman, you're better off watching training videos on YouTube.

Melissa has been amazing as a trainer for our fur babies over the years! In fact she helped us find our last pup Sammy a gorgeous Springer Spaniel and he fits into our family perfectly! Well ok yes he had some impulse control issues but with Melissa's help we have been working through teaching Sammy impulse control with great success. I just can't thank Melissa enough for all the advise and dog training lessons over the years. I would highly recommend her and In Dogs We Trust!

We received a 5 week puppy class paid for by the rescue we got our dog from (ARF Ontario), and we loved Yvette so much that we are soon starting our 4th session with her. Super knowledgeable, knows her stuff cold, and always eager to help with any issue. The way she teaches positive reinforcement training is fun, funny, and enjoyable for both the dog and the humans. She even worked with me to finish makeup classes after I broke my back, to help me continue to work with my dog even with my limited abilities. Can't say enough how much we love Awesome Dogs at our house!!

If I could have given zero stars I would have. The training they offer is worst than PetSmart training. I was able to have my dog trained better at PetSmart. Just because the owner has been a "trainer for 20 years" doesn't mean you should trust her. I bet it's not even her training your dog outside of "training class". Friends dogs have went there and came home filthy and full of energy. They obviously don't play with them enough there(or at all). The yards were always mud pits. They told my friend that they could not have a tour of the facility. I would not trust my dog there if I could not see where he was staying. They also only use crates. Wire crates which are dangerous. The ones seen outside are all bent and ruined. The young trainer doesn't seem like she's knows what she's doing and is quite snotty. I would never bring my dog back to be trained let alone let my dog stay there. Don't trust a facility that won't allow you to have a tour(they will give you a poor excuse). "Your a liability if a dog bites you" Typical excuse for not letting you see what the place looks like. DON'T TAKE YOUR DOG THERE!

Doug is very knowledgeable and we are loving the obedience classes for out 7.5 month old Golden Retriever. He will provide individual tips to dog owners to meet their specific needs during and after class. Videos are available online if you miss a class, so you can come back without skipping a beat. Clean facility with lots of parking. I highly recommend Pets Plus Obedience Training!

Reader, I have a confession: I missed the last scheduled day of puppy training, because I was busy moving into my new home. As such, my adorable golden retriever didn't get to demonstrate all of the things she had learned in the preceding weeks. This was ultimately to my benefit, as her level of obedience remains subject to the slightest distraction, but that is not a slight to the helpful and proactive dog-lovers at Pets Plus. They did everything they could, dear Reader, and they taught me a lot of important tips and strategies. It is not their fault that my dog remains a willful and energetic terrorist. That failure lies with me.

If you are looking for a quality Obedience Class look no further. Doug and Linda are great as individuals and dog trainers. This 10 week program is extremely helpful in teaching not only the puppy but the owner the most effective commands that will allow your puppy to successfully perform the task or tasks that are being asked of him/her. There is homework and with patience and perseverance each week you and your puppy can master each lesson. It is a fun environment for both owner and puppy and helps to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

Very friendly staff and knowledgeable knowledgeable. I had a few questions of dog food and what type of toy that wouldnt damage easy. They helped me out a lot. I recommend their grooming service as well. They are fast and keep the dogs very comfortable even if they are nervous.

Upon reading their sites services, I was actually impressed by the services they had. Eager to learn more, I sent an email saying that their "board and training" program seemed good but a little vague so I wanted to have some more information. They did respond very quickly, but didn't really give me much more information. We decided to call them to get more where unfortunately their customer service fell extremely short. We asked what more information they could give us, where the woman on the line repeated the exact same thing and was very short with us. When asking if we could talk to the trainer, she told us it wouldn't be possible. I decided to try one more time and email and see if a different representative of the company could give me a better answer. They once again referred us to the site. Bringing your animal to any facilty, you should be able to learn more information about what your animal will be doing during their stay. Also to note what sort of training techniques will be used towards your animals. Highly unacceptable customer service, and I'll definitely be looking elsewhere.

This place and their staff are awesome! I've been taking my pup to their Saturday Social class for a couple months now, and have also on occasion used their Dog Daycare service. Both are totally awesome! I know my dog is well taken care of when she gets insanely excited every time I pull in the parking lot, even more so than the dog park! Looking forward to trying their obedience classes in the fall as well! Facility seems very organized, and clean! I highly recommend bringing your dogs & pups to this place!

We've done obedience training classes with Country Club for Pets, and we are currently on our second agility class. Rob and the staff are so knowledgeable, down to earth, and just really good with dogs. The obedience classes were so effective, everywhere I bring my dog, I get compliments on how well behaved and well trained he is. He loves agility training too! He's always excited when we drive in, and happy and exhausted when we leave. Would recommend to anyone looking for training

UPDATED- October 19: After speaking with management and having a few months now of bringing my pup on a semi-regular basis, I would like to update my review. The team was super reasonable and understanding and each time I have brought in Chevy, he is recognized and is very excited to be there. He always comes back happy and tired and gets so excited to see the staff when he arrives. Thanks to the team and management at Country Club for understanding my initial feedback and for making Chevy's experiences since that much better! OLD REVIEW: Disappointed in my experience here. It was my first time bringing my 5 month old puppy to a kennel and when I arrived I was not greeted in a friendly manner- reception simply took him and that was it (I felt very brushed off). When I returned that afternoon to pick him up, I told them I was there to pick up my dog, I gave his name and asked how his first time went. She did not remember who he was and I had to give a description of him before she finally confirmed she knew who he was and that he had a good first day. When he came out, he seemed to be in good spirits but when he jumped up into my vehicle I noticed his back end and bum was soaking wet and he had caked on poo/dirt on his bum and on the underside of his tail (it looked as though he had been sitting in wet/poo/dirt). I expected a bit of a dirty/muddy dog upon pick-up as I expected this would happen at a kennel, but my primary concern was if he had diarrhea or an upset stomach and was left to sit in it. I am extremely disappointed that this was not brought to my attention and it made me question how much time was spent with my dog while he was in their care. Perhaps my standards are too high, but regardless, I will not be returning.

We have taken our dog there for at least 5 years. I have seen many owners and different types of dogs coming and going, and all seem to have had good experiences. Our dog comes back exhausted but happy after all the playtime. Thankful to have a clean and safe space to leave my dog.
