Great spot to pop in for a quick round of golf. Nicely manicured and maintained. Driving range in on grass so you get a natural tee off. Also has nice view of the lake. Never too busy to get a round in here.

I'm a pretty big fan of this course. I really like the open links style to it. I'm not the biggest fan of executive courses as I like the usual mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s but they usually have this course in such great condition and the prices are very fair that it's hard to pass it up. Greens are usually very slow though which drives me crazy but they're well tended and are pretty forgiving. Thinking about a 2016 membership I like it so much.

I taught for twenty-nine years at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University and am now retired. Once a month on the first Friday, a group of us retirees get together for lunch at a Kingston and area restaurant. We take turns organising the lunch and on this occasion, we met at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club where our retiree host was a member. The Club has a spectacular view from where we met in a large glassed-in pub. It varied from the rolling greens to views of Lake Ontario. After catching up over drinks, seventeen of us sat down around two large, round tables for lunch. Conversations could be had with the person on either side or with everyone at the table. The menu was very good and it had something for everyone. I enjoyed a tasty soup and a colourful salad. Our server was very helpful and efficient.

Nice local course with a mix of easy and challenging holes which are well maintained with a variety of beautiful trees. The 4th and 5th hole tee off format is a little different but not a deal breaker. Very friendly club house staff and $16 for 9 holes is a great bargain.

Great Sunday deal however fairways are in need of proper cutting, first cut is so dence with big clumps of grass left behind. Lost balls in fairway! That hole 4/5 or 5/6 is crazy. Greens are in bad shape

Great course for the price! Low green fees at this course considering how well its looked after. Nothing too fancy on it but still reasonably challenging. Nice track and even found some cheapish beer in the clubhouse. We go for an annual guys fishing/golf tourney in the summer, went on a Saturday and the course wasn't even that busy. I would recommend this course to any golfer really, if your a beginner and want something somewhat challenging, or if you're a seasoned golfer looking for a good course for a good price. I got in a cart for 18 holes on a Saturday morning for 20 bucks, can't beat that.

Golf course is in excellent condition. Beautiful club house. Cost of a round of golf is a little expensive but they have specials which makes playing affordable. For example check out their Monday afternoon special, round of golf including cart and includes a meal from a selected menu. Great deal!

Extremely poor course conditions. $100 for 18 holes with a cart was very expensive. No GPS on carts, goose poop everywhere on back 9. Would not return. Smugglers Glen is a much better deal for the same price.

My wife and I got married at Loyalist Golf and Country Club in June 2018. The venue is beautiful and all the staff were beyond amazing. The day of coordinator was wonderful to work with. She ensured all of our questions and concerns were addressed prior to the event. She was extremely easy and always available to communicate with. I felt like she genuinely wanted our wedding to happen just as we wanted it. The staff working that day were so accommodating and friendly. All of our guests were extremely pleased with the service they received at the bar. The food was delicious. All 3 courses and the hor d'oeuvres were enjoyed by everyone. We had guests with severe allergies and the kitchen staff was very professional in handling our request to exclude all allergens from the kitchen. I would highly recommend using this location for your event.

Just played, on Saturday Aug 25th 2018, in a 2 person team family event at Loyalist. Lovely course. Very well organized event. Fantastic job done by Nolan, asst. pro, and his vey friendly staff. Talked about it for a few days now about what a great, well organized fun event on a lovely course with a lovely club house. Met several members and they were super nice. Beautiful setting, indoor pool with hot tub, outdoor pool, boating on the St. Lawrence, spectacular golf course across the road, very good restaurant with buffet breakfast. I have stayed in the hotel and June 2018 stayed in a cabin as we were 12 guys playing golf. The cabins are perfect for that with double queen size beds at the end of a hallway with a door making them two ensuite bedrooms and a very comfortable living room.

We went early in the season. The campground was already in great shape and clean. Their facilities are nicely kept, although the pool table was in very rough shape with only 1 cue usable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The duck pond is very cute with a wider variety of fowl than I was expecting. We also got to use the hiking trails, which my dogs loved.

Fun campground! Lots to do and see including a beach, swimming (lake and pool), duck pond, hiking trail etc. Their pancake breakfast on Sunday morning is delicious! Sites are quite close together, but people were pretty quiet once 9-10pm hit. Will definitely visit again

Our site was a gorgeous waterfront site with fire pit and picnic table and direct access to lake. There is a sandy beach, duck pond (which is beautiful) pool, play structure, a few bathrooms & one of my favorite features was the trail leading to lookout point which has a view of entire campground and lake which is just beautiful. The staff were friendly and prices were good. Extremely well maintained with plenty for families to do. Gas station and coffee nearby if needed. The only downside is that It's very popular and therefore have found it to be often fully booked during peak season.

Love this place! Rideau Acres is the only campground my family has returned to two years in a row. Lots to do, mini put, canoeing, fishing, hiking, and on and on. Campground is well maintained, quiet and has beautiful scenery. Only down side is the rock at the beach area cut our feet. Other than that great place will likely return.

Beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay, but have some feedback for the owners. When I called to book- there was one person who was not very pleasant to talk too- she spoke to me like I was annoying her with my questions. However, when we got their- the front desk staff was extremely helpful and very nice. The place is fun and a great place to be- we enjoyed our stay. My other complaint is the taste of the water- its awful!!!! We were there for a wedding, once they opened the bar they had a water jug for everyone after the caterers left- we couldn't even drink it- it tasted so salty- my cider was more quenching that the water ;) . Same issue from the taps at the campsite. Bring your own water and I recommend that the bar bring in other water. Kids had a blast and would definitely recommend!
