I popped in, by chance, to see whether or not someone could have a look at the scratch on the door of my car. I was greeted right away, and my car was inspected immediately. dealing with rob has been great. had economical not doing their job in tacking down the 3rd party to get my deductible waived. not only did rob get me to paper work to do this on my own also called me as soon as he got the confirmation that it was waived. (Economical still never told me it was waived) 100% will use them again if i ever have a wreck!

My car was sent to this location to have rust/corrosion work done that was covered under a Volkswagen warranty ($2300 worth of work). While fixing my vehicle, one of the technicians broke a piece of trim on my VW. Since this broken trim was not part of the rust/corrosion warranty work (it was technician error), I was charged for this part ($102) and had to pay before I received my keys. CSN claimed that this part gets weathered over time and literally "broke apart" when it was removed. My vehicle is four years old and this piece did not have any cracks or signs of wear to it. In my opinion, this should've been considered collateral damage and a cost absorbed by the business since it was their employee that damaged my vehicle. Aside from that, they had already made $2300 from this warranty work. When Kevin took me to my vehicle, I immediately noticed that the trim around the driver's side door was not re-installed properly. Since it was closing time and a long weekend, Kevin said I would have to come back to get it fixed. At this time, I had a six-week old baby with me and I also live 1.5 hours from this location. Returning to have their work fixed was not convenient. Kevin had said they could send a technician to me, but that did not pan out. They also offered to send me to another location which was equally as far from my home in the other direction. When I went to leave the business, two lights appeared on one the dash of my vehicle, one indicating that the rear end lights were not hooked up properly. Luckily my vehicle was "safe enough" to drive, however, I had to have another dealership hook up the lights properly and every time it rains, I have a leak through the trim around the door. It also feels like I am driving with the window down. Had I known my car would leave with further problems and costing me money for someone else's mistake, I would not have had the corrosion work done. It wasn't worth it.

I’m not one to post this kind thing or talk bad about a business but this is just not right in my mind. This is the last time I’ll ever deal with limestone autobody. They had did a repair back in 2016 and I have taken it back under a warranty claim due to a paint defect and clear coat peeling. This is the 8th time (since 2016) that the car has been in the shop and it keeps coming out worse than it was before!! Not only do they not care, they were very disrespectful towards me and my girlfriend and the shop manager told her that she was over dramatic and said the car was fine and tried to state that the damages done to the car were caused by me.. how is that possible when the car has not left the shop grounds? After speaking with a couple painters who reached out to me and offered to fix my car that had recently quit and no longer work there, they had stated that they do not care about the customer nor do they care about the quality of there work! All they care about is the money and that’s it. Limestone also stated that my car was not at their shop and tried to tell me that I did not bring my car to their shop when I tried calling for an update on when it would be done! 10/10 would never in my life recommend this shop and if I could rate it a -5 I would in a heart beat.

I had taken my truck in to get a quote for a repair, the estimated price to do so seemed fair so I decided to go with this shop as people had recommended them to me. Upon picking up my truck which was supposed to be a three day repair as quoted that had turned into two and a half weeks, there were scratches and damage done to my vehicle that were not there previously and it looked like they didn’t even bother to try to fix my truck. Not only that my glovebox has been looked through and my gps was missing. They stated that they didn’t know anything about it, so I asked to speak to the shop manager, Siegfried, he had seemed drunk and you could smell the alcohol on his breath. He stated that my truck had not been gone through and that the damages done to my vehicle were there previously and refused to fix my truck. Not only am I taking my truck to another shop, it is costing me more money out of my pocket to get this fixed. By far one of the most unprofessional shops that I have delt with and they now have lost my business.

Ben and Michelle are super great people. Visited them for a quote after a valet parking attendant forced my F-150 into a low underground parking spot. Insurance company wanted to pull a dent and body fill the damage. I Spoke with Ben and Michelle and they said no way!!! New truck = New roof...period. Of course that's a very big job ...but Michelle specified the insurance company needs to do this the right way. Michelle took my case and submitter her quote/rationale and held firm with the insurance company. Both Michelle and Ben stand by what's best for their clients. Well it did get it approved to be repaired properly. Now over to Ben...Ben does exceptional work. He Cut, peeled and restored the truck to as new condition. He is meticulously focused on his trade and he kept me regularly updated on progress. I visited 4 times during the project and Ben explained and walked me through each phase of what he was doing and what had been done. He even let me take photos throughput He is a true master tradesman. When I picked my vehicle up they had even completely cleaned the interior of the vehicle (it had the usual winter residue from winter season...now all gone). Nothing was overlooked. Ben is an exceptional body man and master painter. Don't be alarmed by the small business atmosphere. Both Ben and Michelle take their clients and business very seriously. Huge thanks to Ben and Michelle.....live long and enjoy life.

Ben completely restored my 1979 MGB after it was damaged in the ice storm in Dec 2013. He removed all the chrome, rubber and other fittings, including windshield and all lights, and then stripped it down to bare metal before carrying out metal repairs. A complete body prep followed, with multiple anti-rust and high-build primer coats applied and meticulously hand-sanded before spraying colour and clear coat, and the car has never looked better. I could shave in the reflection from any of the body panels, there are absolutely no drips, orange peel or overspray anywhere, and the reassembly was first class. He's a real artist who obviously cares deeply about his work. Michelle looks after the business end of the business, and is 100% professional in her approach to clients. She walked me through a very detailed written quote before we started, offering several different options for the work to be done, and then called me periodically just to keep me updated on progress. I was welcome to drop in unannounced at any time, and either she or Ben would take me around and show me the work in progress. She even surprised me on delivery with a couple of extras that weren't in the quote. Ben and Michelle are obviously committed to their customers, they're superb at what they do, and they do it with courtesy and a smile. I can't recommend them highly enough. Stephen Saulnier

These guys are the BEST BODY SHOP IN KINGSTON! I have had 3 jobs done by them, and their work it outstanding - looks just like new. They specialize in transport truck body work, so they have a massive shop, but they can do all cars sounds like. One of the jobs was quite expensive, and I have surveyed about 8 places around kingston and Napanee everyone giving me outrageous prices (2300+), and these guys did it for 1300 (by offering to fix the bumper as opposed to buy an $800 one), and did a PERFECT job. They are highly skilled at what they do, and work closely with the customer to ensure they deliver perfect quality at the customer's budget. They are incredibly honest - they won't cheat you. All workers there are treated well, they even gave me a ride back home to avoid taxi costs. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION - and I don't leave reviews very often.

Go here if you want to have half of the underneath of your vehicle undercoated. I know of several people who have gone back 2-3 times to try to get the areas they missed spraying and they all basically gave up. They have untrained people working there and the owners don't care one bit. Since I cannot directly reply to your reply, i will update my post here. My best friend had his vehicle in last week, I won't say his name in public but it is 2005 Mercury mountaineer which has been going to you guys every year for years now. He put it up on the hoist at the garage he works at and after inspecting the job you guys did he said he will never go back. Another technician there looked at several of his customers vehicles and they were poorly done also. Several of those people went back and it still wasn't done correctly. Now they are recommending their customers go to rust check instead. Yes we are aware that the vehicle can be brought back again and again but this shouldn't even be required. Most people don't inspect their vehicle after undercoating so they will never know until the rust comes through.

I have been taking my vehicles to krown for a long time and have always been satisfied. And my vehicles have always been free of rust. It was with some hesitation that I went back this year because I also know the individual who was mentioned in a previous review and who was very dissatisfied. Although I am satisfied with the service...hence the 4 stars...I am surprised that there are no checks and balances to ensure customers are actually getting what we pay for. Meaning that there is no one double checking the job when it's done. I know because I asked. That kinda means my satifaction is based on customer service and blind trust.

Took my truck in to have rockers replaced, job was less than perfect and rusted out in just a few months. Brought my truck back and also had them fix cab corners and fenders, this turned out much better but rust returned again in just months. Brought my truck back for a third time and it took them over 7 weeks to get it done and the finished product is the worst I have ever seen. They painted over the rust bubbles and where bonding was applied it was not sanded. Can not believe they would give me back my truck in this condition.

Fantastic service over many years and many vehicles. Just finished repairing my Sonata after a recent run-in with a distracted driver. Car looks better than it did before the accident. They also did a fantastic job at hunting down used parts for repairs to a 10 year old van when my son scraped up his buddy's vehicle a few years ago. They provide great advice on how much you should reasonably put into fixing up an old vehicle.

I brought in my ‘67 Caprice on February 16th, originally for a transmission install and paint. an ENTIRE MONTH went by and NO WORK had been done, they couldn’t even unbolt the seat when I asked them to for a week. eventually, I got fed up with a lack of work (that I had already paid for) and told them NOT TO TOUCH my car, and that I would be removing my car from their shop. after a couple days of silence, I was told my car would be ready to pickup, with the transmission installed, ready to drive, at 4PM that Thursday. I showed up to pickup the car, and I was shocked. The car was IN THEIR PAINT BOOTH, SANDED DOWN, WITH NO TRANSMISSION. All work they had done without my consent. They didn’t even have a transmission there to install! I was furious, and demanded to move my car now. The owner, Rob Hall, didn’t show up to work for another FIVE DAYS, and was NOT returning my messages, texts, or calls. I showed up as soon as they opened Monday morning, called CAA, and luckily removed my car. I asked for my money back, and they said they’d have it by the end of the week - the full amount I had already paid. A week goes by, and I get $700 back, out of the $1150 owing. Now, fast forward another week, they WILL NOT give me back my other $450 because they say it’s OWED TO THEM, for work I did not consent to, and no contract was ever written for. So, I am out $450, even though I have a receipt for how much I paid and exactly what it was supposed to be for. Moral of the story, don’t work with these guys. Hell, they aren’t even registered mechanics! No legit mechanics license up there. Obviously I should’ve seen the red flags and the sea of vehicles they hadn’t worked on yet and not sent my car there, but I’m a trusting person and was looking for a new shop to work with in Kingston. I have made a police report about the place and what they did, but unfortunately not much they can do, and $450 isn’t worth going to court over. Just a warning to anyone looking to have work done on their vehicle, and yes, I will be sharing this with my 160K followers on Instagram!

Decent experience, they said 3-4 days but took 5 .. I was called to pick it up on a Friday at 3:20 when they close at 5 for the whole weekend. I feel like that's a little ridiculous when not everyone can just drop what they are doing and get there in an hour and a half. They should of called earlier in the day..

I've probably been to Condie Auto Repair 4-6 times in the past few decades. Nothing serious. At least one small fender bender and a few others when my car met up against an immobile object. The biggest job was a complete repaint of my sedan a decade or two ago and it is still in the family and on the road. My most recent occasion to go to Condie was when the car behind me didn't slow down fast enough and cracked my rear left fender. Of course, you don't judt fix the crack. You replace the entire fender and repaint for $1,200. A claim is a claim whether it is $1,200 or $12,000 so I work out an alternative where we don't go to the insurer. I can't remember the last time I've made a claim. As a result, I get a discount on my auto insurance. I've always been happy with my interactions with Condie. I always get a very detailed quote and everything seems reasonable when broken out. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant. The repair makes my vehicle (or at least the repaired section) look brand new. I have one observation. It's very tight getting in and out of Condie and you don't want to get another scrape. I saw a vehicle back out of a space in front of Condie and strike the building with a loud scrunching sound. The woman driving had just been in Condie and I believe had been getting a quote. She was very upset! I understand the many vehicles next to Condie are abandoned. Why not get rid of the abandoned vehicles and free up space for the existing customers?

The oil change was fast and Brian was nice to deal with. Not happy with the road side assistance plan! When we bought the vehicle a big perk was the road side assistance plan good till 2020 gave me a great piece of mind as I travel to Toronto often for medical appointments ( I'm disabled) one day I had a tire blow out on the hwy 401 no big deal I have road side assistance until you try to use it and they tell you it has expired cause it only covers up to 40,000 km even though your card says 2020 then they tell you they can still come and only charge you about $200 to put your spare tire on ! So your road side assistance is worth the paper (or card) it's printed on.

I would have to say though, the service desk ladies need to step up their service game. When I call asking for a price they always tell me they dont know or I'll have to come in and talk to one of the mechanic's. When I was last there to book an appointment I asked how much the needing appointment would be rough estimate. They said not sure with everything you're getting done. I had to ask one of the shop guys. Which is kind of annoying, I would think that is their job is to have an idea of those things. Their personalities are nice but I normally dont enjoy their answers.
