We had a very positive experience with Davey Tree today in early April, 2019. Arborist Alex Mimeault and his team were here to do some major branch trimming on several large Manitoba Maples along our back fence, as well as some finer surgical work on our four front flowering trees. They performed exactly as we had requested and to the specifications of our contract with the company. They were prompt, efficient and professional. Happy to report they also did a beautiful job with the clean-up. I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending this company. Thanks so much!

I hired Davey tree service to trim a large maple in my yard. The day the came, a torrential downpour started shortly after they arrived and they understandably decided to stop because of the rain. I was told to call the office to reschedule the remainder. I called the office only to be told I had to pay extra for them to come back and finish the job! I increased my star rating because they eventually returned and the end result was good...but I feel I shouldn't have had to go through the hassle to get them to finish the original job at the original price.

On Tuesday, November 13, Davey Tree Service was on our street trimming trees, perhaps for the City of Ottawa, I really don't know. That same evening I went to turn the t.v. on for the 5:00 p.m. news and we had no cable. Little did we know until the next day that 15 feet of cable wires had been cut and left laying on the ground. Today, November 18, (five days later) is the earliest that Rogers can come and repair our cable. I'm 100% sure the men trimming the trees KNEW they had cut the cable. You would think that these men would have had the COURTESY to report what had happened, instead they did not. Because of this I will never recommend Davey Tree Service to anyone.

Tree fell on my house in the middle of the night and Davey were at my door before 8am cleaning the nightmare up. Service, staff, arborist were way beyond my expectations. First class group for sure.

I used this company because it as a friend referred me to it. Long story short I'd never use this company again. I met them at my house and told them and marked which trees needed to be cut down. I then had to go on a errand for a little bit and when I came back there was visible damage on my gazebo next to one of the trees.

Patrick and his crew did a phenomenal job. Patrick was very knowledgeable and professional. We wanted a tree removed from our property and he did all the measurements and contacted the city to see if it would be a problem. His crew came quickly and efficiently removed the tree , as well as cleaned up all the debris. The best part was the price. He gave us an amazing quote on paper and when it was time to pay, it was the same amount, no hidden fees or extra charges. If you want a tree trimmed or removed, definitely contact Ottawa Tree Trimming first.

Patrick and his crew took down a very large dead pine at my property on May 31st, 2018. Admittedly, there was a slight issue with arriving on time, but when they got here, I was very impressed with the work. They were up front that there could be damage to nearby shrubs and cedars. The work they did was stellar and they did a great clean up and removal of the tree. There ended up being very minimal damage to nearby gardens and I really expected there to be more. Finally, Patrick gave me a quote and he stuck with it. His price was better than anyone else by quite a bit (I got 4 quotes) and you won't find a better value for the work in the city. Highly recommend.

It was so nice to see a contractor who not only knew his stuff but that also showed up on time, honoured his estimate, didn't leave the job site until completely finished and then cleaned up better than before he arrived! And while all of the cedar trimming was first rate, the work done cleaning out our 60-70' tall pine and spruce trees was phenomenal. We have used several much larger tree trimming contractors over the years and without doubt Ottawa Tree Trimming was superior in every way. I was especially impressed with all of the safety equipment and procedures carried out while climbing into the canopies and when using chain saws. Without doubt we will be calling again next year for additional trimming and tree climbing!

Patrick and His tram d'ID ans incredible job. The four trees were in my flower bed and when it was all over I think there was only a couple of flowers that were broken. After that they took everything and did a super job cleaning the place. These guys are professionnals and realy affordable.
