Great Experience! I usually make pretty good excuses not to go to my Dental appointments... but my mind is officially changed! After over 5 years avoiding the Dentist yesterday was my first appointment. A friend strongly recommended them; after they're kids had wonderful visits, which is why I decided to gather up my courage and make an appointment. I was amazed from the very moment I arrived at Brookside. An incredibly friendly young lady welcomed me, I could smell they had a light orange essential oil diffusing, and was offered to put on music or Netflix while I filled out my medical forms. I swear I almost completely forgot I was there for a dentist appointment. And this is not even the best part! When my new hygienist; Alyson, introduced herself and walked me to my room, she took her time to explain what my visit would entail and was incredibly patient with all my questions. Further blowing my mind, she offers me the remote to a TV set up for while I'm laying down! I was able to choose the Netflix series of my preference so I could relax during my appointment. I mean really....just wow!!! The entire staff and Dentist at Brookside really changed my whole view. I am actually eager to head back in for my 6 month appointment. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a new office!

I just had a regular cleaning and found out they over charged me $44 evaluation exam that I did not request. Then, I called to verify the fee. They said it was for the bone and gum measurements. They had never charged me for those measurements since my first visit. They also agreed with me but told me they would start to charge it now. Should they tell that they will start to charge some new fee? the hygienist had never told me to be charged before doing those measurements. It is very unfair and dishonest to their patients. and also this treatment code 49101 which are not covered by most insurance.

My family and I have been going to Brookside for just over a year now and had to make the time to review. It is one of the most up to date offices I have been to. Tv available in all rooms with Netflix or Music, digital xrays, and they do almost everything in office including braces and implants. I hate driving all over and being referred to other specialists; which are more expensive, so the comprehensive service is a huge plus in my life. My Hygienist Courtney is amazing and so are the doctors and all their staff. I definitely recommend!

Dr. Yang and Dr. Xie are great! Both very honest, caring, friendly and down to earth. The staff at the office is amazing, best I have experienced by far! Office is really nice, up to date, and not more expensive than any other office. I've been with them for years and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new office.

The female dentist at this location is the most incompetent dentist I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to trillium for years and most dentists I’ve had at trillium are wonderful, except this one. She is rude, stuck up, and talentless. Go see a different dentist, you will thank me.

Dr. Sisto was there for my first born 27 1/2 years ago and and for my next 2 after that. Now my first grand baby will fallow in his moms footsteps in being a patient of his. We 100% recommend him. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Sisto has been helping my daughter since birth. She had colic and he was determined to get rid of it without medication. My daughter suffered from acid reflux and would projectile vomit every time I nursed her. Ahe never stopped crying from the pain she was gojng through. She cried all day and all night. She had and still has constipation issues but she is 100 times better. After a few simple changes her colic was gone and she slept 12 hours every night since she was 3 months old. He is straight to the point and everything he told me to do helped her and made sense. I would recommend him to anyone

Let me just start off by saying I did not choose this doctor, he was a referral. Had I known about this guy, I never would have gone to him. Our son has had chronic constipation since birth. We daily had to bend his legs and push poop out, sometimes with blood because they were so big. As he got older, he would sit on the toilet, shaking, sweating and crying. We was finally lucky to find a doctor who requested an x-ray. His colon was completely blocked. They even suspected that he had feces from as early as birth... he was now 5. I was worried it could be something far more serious. Doctor Sisto had been informed of all this. What he decided to do was put him on powdered laxatives for almost a year and a half. He also suggested we bribe him in eating fatty foods in order to give him diarrhea. He said McDonald's burgers are the best to give him diarrhea (don't I know it). He also said to give him a nickel every time he ate something healthy. I said that doesn't make sense: he eats fruits and vegetables, whole wheat bread etc so I don't understand why I should be paying him to do something he already does. Months passed and at every visit, he kept saying "keep him on the powder. It's working". Eventually, I was to give him A DOLLAR every day. I said "who's dollar? Yours? I can't afford that, this is ridiculous! We've been coming to you for over a year and that's all you tell us to do." At that point, I had enough and he could tell I wasn't happy with him. As soon as I started to question his method, he became distant and rude. He said "I've been doing this for x amount of years." I said "not with my kid! Maybe he needs something different". This laxatives and diarrhea-filled fiasco has been going on long enough. For over a year he has liquid poops every single time he sat on the toilet. I decided to stop going to him and figure something else out to help my son. I eventually decided to go see a wonderful naturopathic doctor. She spoke to him, spoke to me, inquired about his birth (he was a preemie), about my pregnancy (I developed HELLP syndrome) and everything in between. She examined him, was caring and concerned. We first decided to remove dairy from his diet. Within 2 months, he was eliminating twice a day, his cradle cap had cleared up and he's now happy and healthy, off powdered laxatives and only on probiotics in the morning, as suggested by his new doctor. We never "gave" him diarrhea. We didn't pay him to eat what he was already eating. Dr Sisto is a horrible doctor who doesn't know his elbow from his ass. Absolutely terrible. I can't say enough negative things about him. Would not recommend to anyone. And follow your instincts!! Doctors don't know everything. Like my dad always said: "Not every doctor passed with flying colours. Some just had passing grades". Well, that's Doctor Sisto in Ottawa!!
