I signed up in person with Adecco and the last time I heard from them was around the time that I signed up in 2011. Fast track to today, I have the same cell phone number, email and I received a text for a job offer! As I write this review my mom recounts never getting contacted back by Adecco as well throughout her employment years in the two times she says she had attempted to use Adecco for employment opportunities. I can’t believe Adecco is still around if this is how the service has operated especially for me. Obviously both of us have had better luck with other employment services since. So this is my review. I was recommended to use Adecco by someone who was getting job placement opportunities at the time but I cannot personally recommend that this agency is reliable. Good luck!

I recently Registered with Talent Employment Inc. which is One Of The Leaders In Hospitality Employment serving the Toronto G.T.A. area and had met with Anthony and during my registration process, he strongly recommended that I take the Smart Serve Course which is a Must if You wish to Serve Food/Drinks at Restaurants, Banquet Halls, etc. When I had arrived, they gave us the Smart Serve Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service Training Program Book to read over and study from and during the class that was given by Jennifer, we often referred to it as well! I must admit that Jennifer is an Excellent Smart Serve Instructor among other things. She gave us plenty of time to ask questions and during our open book test we were also allowed to ask questions on where to look in order to find the specific answers that were related to our questions. For ME: I was very Successful at the test because I listened very carefully, asked questions and took notes. I think that I did the Right Thing because I had Jennifer look for my answers and Got Good Vibes from her Response. I personally want to tell everybody out there that if You want to take the Smart Serve Class and Test then You should do it at a school/facility that has instructors there to ask questions. Trying to do the Smart Serve test on the computer at home in my opinion based on what i have read does Not Work and has a lot of problems and inefficiencies. Therefore if You are in Toronto and want an Excellent Place To Get Your Smart Serve Card, then iTrain in Toronto is the Right Place! I want to personally Thank Anthony from Talent Employment Inc. for referring ME there. They are good when it comes to offer a job to someone. However, Some of their employees don't know how to talk with other people. I feel like getting insulted in front of 4-5 people when I asked them about my query regarding paycheck. I got two different pay rate for the same work I did at same place. When I asked them, Frank answer me very rudely. He could have told me same thing in some decent way too.

Lady at the front desk is ignorant and gives dirty looks. Frank lied about the job position that I would be doing. Drove over 40 minutes , to find out they had no idea who I was and didn't have my pay check the day it came to pay day. Had to argue with them to get them to pay me. Tried to pay me less money than my boyfriend , when my job position was harder than his, and when I was the one doing lifting all day and he was making boxes. Frank tried to tell me I'd have a easier position than my boyfriend when really is was the complete opposite way around. This employment agency is the biggest joke. I would not be bothered with them. Unorganized and do not know what they are doing . Only helpful person was a lady named kristal. She went out of her way to contact frank to get my pay and my boyfriends pay.

They will get all your info (SIN number, Driver Lice, Education Certifications and ect.) before even find you a job. Reason they gave, GE asking all those info before they send the resume to GE. It would take them more than a month to find you a job if you did not find one. They won't talk to your supervisor or Team Lead to verify. They do not care what kind of worker you are, They only care you worked for that company or not SO They will call each company's HR you worked for to verify your employment.If they closed the company then you have to give them the T4 to verify(even though you worked 10 years ago or 5 years ago) AND after all THIS THEY WILL PAY YOU $14 per hr GE Hiring Through Kelly Service! (I think GE does not care about the employees work ethic for that reason Kelly only talking with HR to verify) (If your friend or friend's friend working at Kelly then you are IN, do not need anything)

I was contacted by Taylor housdon about a job she said that I was perfect for and wanted to meet the next day at 9:45 in the morning .I had to make arrangements to make the meeting on such short notice and when I was on my way I received and email cancellation from Taylor at 8:30 in the morning not even a call so very unprofessional . She wanted to reschedule later on in the day which was very difficult as I juggled my day to meet in the morning . She continued to put me off all day with ridiculous excuses and even put me off at end of day because she had a yoga class. I called he office to discuss with the VP Louisa Benedicto I left her voice messages and emails with no response . . I pride myself in being very professional and I have never met a recruiter like Hays that is so unprofessional and lack of respect for a persons time and care for there business. I would highly recommend you not do any type of business or correspondence with this company in any capacity .

I wish there was a no stars option,by far, the worst expereince iv'e ever had with a temp agency. i went there in May ending, they told me they would have the perfect job for me in June, so i called the first week of June, nothing, second week nothing. I waitied till the last week of June, and when i called they said no jobs. Why make me wait a month with no details? Then when i try to get another job, then you tell me i should have asked earlier? So why didn't you offer me a job on the day that i came, instead of making me wait. At least communicate with me instead, of just expecting me to sit there and do nothing. i could have found something else during that time.

There was one on-site coordinator, lets call him Mr. X, that was very pessimistic and spoke in a very condescending manner to me. But as of 2015 (including Mr. X) a lot of the people have been laid-off and there is a whole new restructuring of their staff at the City Centre Office as well as in various locations where they have designated on-site coordinators. My experience overall has been wonderful. As far as payment goes, had no problems with direct deposit straight into my savings account always on-the-dot at 12 AM. I am sorry that other users that gave poor reviews had unpleasant experiences, but I guarantee you that Kelly Services is a legitimate employment agency that works at a high degree of professionalism. Definitely give a try if you're looking to make a lot of money for a short time, but mind you a lot of it is general labour if you have little to no 'credible' work experience.

I just read a email from a women that works at this location to my boyfriend. I'm totally discussed what she has written!! He gave up a great job for better paying position she told him she'd get him in Georgetown to come the office. Three hours later after paper work she said she couldn't get a hold of the person & said she had something else but less pay in Brampton & nights. Again giving him the run around & not being able to tell him exactly where it was located?! WTH He had a accident last night in the car I was driving & didn't make it to this job. The email he sent her told her what happened. All she wrote back was how disappointed she was in him & how she spent her day like with others like him doing up paper work for what. Are you kidding....that's your job. I don't recommend this place to find work. I used to recommend friends in past but the people working for this organization are ignorant, un organized & don't know at all how to treat their clients!!

To those youth or individuals who went and got hired at the Shoppers Drug Mart hiring session on Wednesday, Feb 13, don't you find it odd that we have been laid off 5 or 6 days? Shoppers claimed they "hired too many people" This is pretty disappointing since it is just increasing the numbers that YES can show to the government, by saying "look, we got x amount of youth into Shoppers Drug Mart! Aren't our numbers great? Now fund us more!" It is a tragedy as they are skewing the numbers and asking for money that taxpayers provide, just to get youth hired for 5 or 6 days, working 8 hours a day.

They were very rude and arrogant, not something you would expect from a "Leading recruitment agency". Location: 555 Richmond street west floor# 711 I was worried about a job, not comfortable with where I was at with finding a job. The first week with YES (youth employment Services) I had support, advice and my confidence boosted to try and get into my field. I was grateful to have had the assistance from a phenomenal and knowledgeable case worker Misty Ahmed. She succeeded into getting me into my field, assistance with transportation and would always email me to keep me posted to make sure I made my appointments with her. I feel as though the Youth Employment Services welcomed me with open arms. From the first day I walked in to right now, they have helped me and provided me with knowledge of what to expect in a workplace. They helped me figure out what I want to be doing in the future and what type of jobs best fit me. Karlie and Nadia both helped me the best they could and answered my questions the best they could. From working on my resume together to helping me be well prepared for my interviews. I have gained multiple job opportunities due to this wonderful program and start my first this Monday.
