I was disappointed with Young Drivers and would not recommend taking their classes. My instructor (his name was Lane) was terrible and unsupportive during the teaching process and practical driving portion. He refused to pick me up at my home downtown as all instructors normally do (i.e. as Young Drivers arranges for students) and made me come up to Summerhill to do my driving lessons. The roads were unfamiliar and he was often rude while he was teaching. In one instance he didn’t show up for a lesson and he claims it was due to traffic from a baseball game but he didn’t even have the decency to call and I waited for over an hour. I had taken the train in from out of town to attend this lesson and Young Drivers refused to apologize or refund me for this session. As a student, the extra expense of having to commute to Summer Hill and also the train ticket from the missed course was a huge burden. For the exorbitant fee to take their courses, I hoped for better customer service and teachers from YD.

Young drivers has always been the top option for me and my family. Even though I hated the at home lessons that they had, it was very beneficial and allowed me to learn all the rules of the road thoroughly. The in-class lessons were really good too as it answered all questions I had. The best thing about young drivers though is the in car lessons, they taught me defensive driving which is what saved me multiple times whilst on the road. The training I got from young drivers made me a more confident and safe driver on the road and allowed me to get my full license on the first try. Would highly recommend young drivers, they will properly teach you how to drive.

All the process of getting your Driver's License can be daunting. I must say that if you want to pass the road test so you can get the full G, I highly recommend taking some lessons. It depends how confident you are on how many lessons you'll need before the road test. Without Malik's help, it would've been way more complicated to approve the road test IN FEBRUARY. Now I finally got my G license on my first attempt. There was a big difference in getting approved because I booked some lessons at 1st Canadian Driving School. Thanks Malik for making all the process smooth and easy.

Worst experience wasted 7500$ I got no mandatory.Entry.Level.training the hours where not met I only got about 30-40 hours altogether and M.E.L.T requires 103.5 hours did test twice reason for failing was backing as I only got 1 backing class and was very brief about 30 min now that school is paid in full they are not giving me the mandatory backing training saying I am ready to pass the instructions speak Russian 95% of time literally so if you’re not Russian don’t waste your time or money go to a good school that follows all training up to government standard please not make the same mistake as me I put my life savings into this school to be robbed discriminated against (for being Canadian and not Russian )and pushed aside

I signed up for the driving course at the Young Drivers School. They start with the fundamentals, have a combination of in-class learning, online training and instructor led driving lessons. They teach great techniques to avoid collisions. They have experienced in-class and on road driving instructors. Great learning and experience. Thank you.

From in class to in car training, the program was extremely thorough. YD is built on the story of a horrible accident that cost the lives of the parents of the founder of YD, to ensure other people don't suffer the same fate, so you can understand the careful work put into it's program. You will learn a great deal in terms of "defensive" driving and simple maneuvers that are necessary and effective for safe driving. On another note, the staff were not only courteous, but patient and careful. Would definitely recommend YD to everyone. This review is coming from someone who passed his G2 test with a score of 100% on the first try, and it wouldn't have been so without my great driving instructor and in class preparation. 5 STARS

Generally I find the company a very good place with which to conduct business. Everyone was very professional. My in class instructor Dan was a very good teacher. As someone who learn to driver later in life I was super nervous. I had to driving instructors from Young Drivers of Canada. Mike was the the most amazing instructor anyone could ask for. He is knowledgeable and patient. This winter was my first time driving in the winter and everything he taught me was useful. I absolutely could not have driven through those snow storms of 2019 without Young Drivers of Canada! Thank you for making me a confident driver.

Our son sucessfully complete the classroom sessions and 7 out of 10 in car lessons. At the suggestion of his instructor, he held off doing the last 3 in car sessions so that they could be closer to when he would take his in car exam with the Ministry of Transportation. He neglected to tell us that all of the in car lessons needed to be completed within a year of starting with young drivers. When we went back to schedule the last 3 lessons, they informed us that too much time had elapsed, and that he would not get a certificate that the ministry of transportation would recognize as having completed with young drivers. While we were only months late, they would not yield, even though it was their instructor who suggested we hold off on the last sessions. Not impressed at all with their lack of understanding. Also not impressed that they don't have systems in place to warn people prior to their artificial time limit expiring. They are the 800 pound gorilla in the drivers ed world, and they are certainly acting like it.

I would highly recommend the Young Drivers program! Specifically, I would reccomend the instructor Peter! He is patient, kind, extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything when it comes to driving and handling a vehicle, not to mention he has a demeanour about him that makes any somewhat new/nervous driver comfortable. He made this process extremely easy for me to pass my drivers test for the first time. I now have my license and I don’t feel nervous one bit because I know the foundation that both Peter and Young Drivers has instilled in me, has prepared me for any situation I may encounter on the road. Bill is a experienced and exited instructor. He makes sure that you fully understand what he is teaching you way before you get behind the wheel. I have nothing but high praise for YD! The in class lessons were very informative, without being boring and helped improve my base knowledge of the rules of the road and common mistakes that can lead to collisions. The real treat though is the in car lessons! My instructor Marin instantly made me feel comfortable in the drivers seat, something I wasn't sure was possible. As a slightly older "young" driver I was worried about the dynamic between student and instructor, but while Marin was extremely professional, he kept me laughing and never made me feel negative about the learning process. You know you have a good instructor if you can afford a laugh at your own expense while attempting to parallel park! Thanks to him, I feel confident that I have good habits that will keep my driving safe. Thanks Marin and YD!

My in-class and in-car instructors were amazing! They taught me the rules of the road and explained everything clearly and in-depth. During my in-car classes, I was able to demonstrate what I learned in class on the road. I always felt comfortable in the car and was never nervous around my instructor. Very good experience. I have no complaints what so ever. Horror stories you hear about different driving school does not apply here. The in-class instructor was very knowledgeable and a high amount of patience throughout the sessions. His classes were very interactive and easy to follow. In terms of the in-car instructor he was able to cater his lessons towards my needs, rather then just going by the book and teaching me the simplest things over and over again. When I needed a little more practice on some maneuver I was having trouble with, he allowed me to do so, as well as move on quickly when I grasped the concept easily. All in all I have an amazing experience. This is highly recommended for all types of drivers.

During my In class lessons, my instructor was very helpful in assuring that we understood how to avoid getting into an accident. I learnt a lot, rules and tips that are usually not taken into consideration while driving, but should be. The instructors are very well trained and educated, they do their best to make sure not only that you pass their class but that you understand, feel safe driving and for some that they are no longer scared to drive. Some of my classmates came into the lessons scared to drive, and not understanding many rules but after taking the in class lessons they as well as I, felt more comfortable driving.

This review is for professional drivers driving school which is in north park drive brampton . Just mentioning it because the address that google maps is showing above my review is different . Worst instructor lady ever. So dominating and talks about different stuff while teaching and its very distracting, took extra money and I failed badly in G2 first attempt in Brampton and forced me to give the test in Brampton when passing ratio is quite less there and I told her but because she's so dominating, had no choice. Also, initially she mentioned the amount she asked for on the driving test date includes the class before the test and later on refused that she said so and took more money. Also during my classes with her ,she used to praise herself a lot and talk bad about other driving schools all the time and how useless they were. So a big tight slap on her face with this, I got my G today(first attempt) , went with Able driving school instructor to Guelph, charged less than her, got my G2 with this driving school as well (first attempt with them in November).

Matt Snowball is one of the most patient teachers I have had the joy to have. He was very good at showing me things and he taught me defensive driving very well. He is very nice and good humoured as well as being very calm, all vital attributes in a driving instructor. He explains the rules well and makes sure that the students gets it. A really amazing experience.
