I never write reviews but I had to about this clinic. Dr. Hendricks is one of the most understanding and patient doctors that I have ever met (and I have met a lot of them). He took the time to sit down with my father (who is not the easiest to deal with) and explained all of his options and what to expect during the replacement of all of his teeth. highly recommend (and I also never say that) I would also like to add that I found the entire staff at Dr. Hendricks office to be very polite and professional. Once you step into this office, you can tell that the doctors and staff pride themselves in providing the best care for their patients. They only do procedures that are in the best interest of the patient.

Such a wonderful staff and clinic. They are always accommodating when we book appointments especially when there is an urgent need to see a dentist. Mae is a wonderful dentist and person. Our family receives dental care at Harvard Road Dental. It is one of the best clinics I've ever visited in my life. The dentists and staff are very professional and pleasant. They are thorough and fully explain everything as they go along. Not having visited the dentist in nearly 10 years, I was beyond due for a check-up. I decided that it was time to do some research and pick a dental team that seemed trustworthy, friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. That being said, two thumbs up to me for the great pick, but more importantly, two big thumbs up to Harvard Rd Dental Care. Never has visiting the dentist been more of an enjoyable experience! Everyone in the office has such lovely personalities that instantly put you at ease and level of professionalism at this office is incredible. Every one was very friendly but the standard of service is not up to the level. The nurse weighed my 3 month old and asked to keep her undressed so that the doctor can check her. The dermatologist came after 30-45 minutes since the nurse left! My baby got hungry, sleepy and cold by the time she came. Though she was very polite but no matter what I asked; she kept on saying the same thing- why she is giving her stronger medication. She asked me to come for a follow up, but I’m never going back there again

The best pediatric clinic we've been to so far. My daughter had high fever last night and we went in for after hours care eventhough it's not very close to our home. I cannot believe how lovely and helpful they were at this clinic! Our week old baby had a bad tongue tie and was having trouble latching at the breast. Our lactation consultant recommended Dr. Weinberg who works at the Jack Newman clinic a few days a month. We tried him in desperation after two other places (including the Newman clinic) told us they didn't have room until January because of the holidays. Cass at the front desk bent over backwards in order to get us a last-minute appointment, despite the fact that Dr. Weinberg was fully booked and despite the fact that it was the last hour and a half of her last shift before her holiday vacation. Dr. Weinberg agreed to squeeze us in which I'm sure meant a shorter lunch hour for him. The compassion and empathy they showed going above and beyond for us was so touching and made a huge difference to us as first-time parent struggling to keep our baby fed! Thank you so much to everyone at the clinic, you really changed our lives this week ❤️❤️❤️

I had appointments for my twin boys for 12:20 and12:30. Due to atrocious parking issues with this place, we got to the appt at 12:40. We were told we couldn’t be seen - I said the 12:30 appointment child is only 10 minutes late. We have often waited for our appointments in the past for over 45 minutes - why is it so difficult to extend the same courtesy back to us? We were told that dr Mehta has a TV interview and couldn’t accomodate us. I guess in today’s world doing a TV interview is more important than seeing patients (both of whom took a day off from school for the appointment and I took a day off from work). This is state of our health care system. These are doctors who are paid for by our taxes, yet we have to be at their mercy. It is unacceptable for us to even complain if we have to wait yet it’s totally acceptable for them to have no respect for our time but more so I guess I didn’t realize that their oath is to media vs their patients. I am getting my children discharged from here and will take them to a clinic that has more empathy and willingness to treat patients than those who are merely interested in PR of their clinic. It’s time we hold our doctors accountable.

Went in on a Sunday as my pediatric was closed. My daughter had a diaper rash that was really painful for her. The doctor was in a rush and didnt ask much questions he prescribed a fungal cream. The rash was the exact same 4 days later. I went to another clinic where they were much more helpful and wanting to help vs just writing us off with a prescription. Turns out her rash was not fungal, and just a normal diaper rash from wetness. Doctor told me fungal rashes are very obvious to spot out. So this doctor gave my 1 year old a wrong prescription. I definitely will never return to this clinic!

The Dr spent less than 3 minutes with us and then gave my some cream for his rash, whereas there were less than 5 patients in the waiting area.He even did not took a close look at his rash, did not ask any questions, like when it started, if he had fever or if he traveled recently. But he did not forget to ask return visit. No wonder this clinic is not as busy as other clinics. Good luck for this business and hope no parents will take their kids to there.

Had the worst experience here. Being a children's clinic they should have doctors dedicated to the profession. They are playing with small kids lives. Dr. Mansor hardly spends 2 secs to listen to what the issue is and writes off my 2 year old daughters fever and cough as viral. After a day of increasing fever we approached another doctor who told as that she is having ear & chest infection. Very irresponsible and horrible doctor!!! Please don't go him if you have concern for your child's safety

First of the wait in the waiting room was long enough! Only then for us to be admitted into a room along with another family in the room next to us. Although, we were here longer and the other family arrived significantly after us, the docutor proceeded to go to that patient first and save us for last! When I asked reception why would the doctor enter that room although we had been waiting longer, her responses was “he probably just thought that family was first and didn’t see you.” I will never be visiting this office again even though my kids have been coming here for years! Goodbye! Stay away if you care about professionalism and not being discriminated against.

My 2 star is for the female doctor at this location . Do not take any advice from the black male doctor at this location. I brought my son in and he didn’t realize he had a ear infection. I also brought my second son in . He has cradle cap and this doc told me it’s eczema. Not a good doc at all. Very unprofessional . I’m not racist im also black . And I just don’t think he’s a good doc

Wynn explained everything to my son before doing anything and even showed all the tools he would be using. This was my third attempt at a dentist visit, so I wasn't expecting too much, but my son sat through the whole thing. He was so proud after showing everyone his picture and his new toothbrush. This is such an AWFUL after hours paediatric clinic. My 9 month old son started vomiting and had watery diarrhea at 8:25pm. I called the clinic to ask if I could bring my son and they said as long as you get here by 8:45pm. My husband and I packed up our son and sped off to the clinic. We got there at 8:40pm. The woman behind the counter said "Next time come earlier".....my son literally just started getting sick at 8:25pm....This woman was beyond rude and should not be working at a children's clinic. The pediatrician was this old lady who although was very sweet to my son gave very little advice on how to help him accept for giving him pedialyte...The clinic as a whole is very unprofessional and the woman behind the counter needs to be replaced.

Your location This clinic has been running by corrupt doctors (Dr. Yazdani) and manager /owner of the clinic. And very rude, unprofessional, incompetent staff. I have moved to another city about a year ago, therefore i need to transfer my son's health record and pediatrician to the city that i currently reside. My son's pediatrician/ physician has refused to transfer his files to his new pediatrician, which is against the law! their only excuse is that my son has not been seen by his pediatrician ( Yazdani) in Toronto for a while so they wont let my new pediatrician have access to his health record. what they said is not even relevant to the subject matter. My son only was taken his shots at the Willow dale clinic in Toronto and since we have moved in to another city a year ago and his next shot is not due till next year, of course he has not been seen by her for a while. very unprofessional and incompetent staff and doctors. they don't take their patient's health seriously and its all about making money by corruption. my advice, avoid going to that clinic and be seen by any physicians as you will be trapped for a long time and will be obtained bad health. my new pediatrician will be sending a complaint letter to the college of physicians regarding this matter.

This clinic is one of the worst places to take your child. I have never experienced such rude and arrogant staff with absolutely no empathy or beside manner. There was a woman who did not speak English very well who brought her sick son. She was trying to communicate by having someone on the phone to help however the receptionist wouldn’t allow over the phone translation and demanded to have a person come to the clinic in order for her son to be seen by a doctor. This poor woman was in tears. I tried to help the lady not knowing Spanish myself and was accosted by the receptionist for helping her! I was horrified at her behaviour- you cannot refuse treatment to anyone in this country. I was then rudely told to stop helping as they deal with “these types of people” all the time and know how to handle them and not to feel sorry for the woman since she was crying...I have never in my life experienced such deplorable behaviour and that too in a Pediatric clinic ...DO NOT bring your child here and go somewhere else where they actually treat you and your child with dignity and respect and welcome everyone from all backgrounds.

We’ve been to this location a couple of times and service is consistently good. The receptionist could be friendlier but is efficient. A bit of a wait but nothing compared to a regular walk-in, and when you are waiting with a kid time s the ms to go so slow. The doctors have been courteous and straight to the point. They have public washrooms and a family room. There’s free parking all around this mini-mall.

I was there with my daughter on last Sunday. My daughter had a concussion during her activities and my wife took her to this clinic since our family doctor was away for vacation. There was also a form from school to be filled out before my daughter could went back to school. The doctor was very nice at the time and fill out the form for my daughter but left some fields unsigned, so required by the school I have to took her back to this clinic again to complete the form. When we arrived the front desk lady told us the doctor was not here on Sunday so what I can do was to call the manager on Monday and find the schedule of that particular doctor to fill out that form. But back to home I found the hand writing on the form was too hard to read so it impossible to tell who was the doctor checked my daughter. So I print out another blank form and went back the clinic again. I thought I could just go through another doctor again to do the form from scratch. However, the front desk lady rejected me saying we shouldn't be here at the first place. She said the doctor before was just doing a favor for us to filling in the form which she was not supposed to do. She also said this clinic is for kid only, and she asked how old is my daughter, i answered" she is 14", and I asked back "is this clinic supposed to be good for under people under 18?" She didn't answer, looks like she start to get pissed-off from that time, she just said she cannot let as to see another doctor and she won't answer anymore questions because she is supper busy and had explain everything to my daughter, I can ask my daughter and she won't bother to explain to me one more time. There are couple things did not make any sense to me, so that's why I had to keep asking her for explanation. 1. When my daughter was there for inspection the doctor didn't say anything about they were not supposed to fill out the form, nor my daughter should not be there. 2. The front-desk lady said that we shouldn't be seeing a doctor in this clinic, was that because my daughter is too old for this clinic? 3. If we should go family doctors or other hospitals why at the first time this lady asked me to call back on Monday to get the doctor to sign the form? should I just go to other hospital directly? 4. She said we cannot see another doctor here on the same issue, why? what if my daughter need the check again while the doctor was not there? 5. She also accused us saying something like "I won't allow you to take advantages of the medical system by wasting our time!" why? it's the school requirement not me, and your doctor forget to sign the form, I don't want to bother the doctor myself too! 6. She asked me to get answers from my daughter, why? I'm the parent in front of her, she is the one responsible to explain to me, isn't it? No matter how busy she is, it's her job! I was confused but I need the answers so that if I did something wrong I won't make the same mistake again. but the frond desk lady was so rude and impatient! When I was waiting on the chair, this lady even put a board in front of her face and accuse me for staring at her. Why did I even want to look at her? She is so ugly, I got no choice but see her face only because I was facing that direction. I could tell she was busy but she is not a professional for her job. At last there was anther doctor very nice and willing to answer all my questions, really appreciated. BTW, there were two front-desks at the time, looks like the one I talked is probably originally from India.

Very rude admin, not sympathetic to our situation at all. We took our 5mon-old there with diarrhea and vomiting. She ended up having an explosion in the office and the admin person, instead of being sympathetic to our situation, complains about the smell and criticizes us for changing the diaper there. Then she’ asking us to leave with our baby undressed! We need a better clinic in this area.

The receptionist was kind but the doctor we had was rather rough when checking my child and pretty rude all around. We have come here several times - knowledgeable doctors, but poor bedside manners. I have since found another walk-in that provides less stressful after hours care for my kids.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I brought my two year old son who was weak and lethargic and Dr Bayer told me nothing was wrong with him and that I was probably overreacting. Thankfully I took him to sick kids where they diagnosed him with anemia so bad that he almost needed a blood transfusion. Their ridiculously short appointments (that are so hard to get), dismissive attitude and neglect really shows in how they treat their patients. If it wasn't for getting a second opinion, I don't know what would have happened to my son. Unprofessional, late & rude, don't bother coming here. There are other better paediatricians.

The one star is for the desk staff. The doctors and nurses do a great job with the children but the receptionists are ridiculous. I can only make an appointment by coming in person or if they answer their phone. Their voicemail and email are not for making appointments. I can't just drop by from an 1hour away to make an appointment for my son. Fix the service.

Extremely disappointed with this place - we have a new born and so far we've felt nothing but neglected and dismissed. You can't book an appointment if it's not a same day appointment and you can't get a same day appointment if it's not a pressing concern. They never answer the phone and their website has been down for over a week. I hear lots of people rave about their Paediatricians but to anyone reading this i recommend steer clear of this place.

The physician's and nurses are fantastic and very patient with my very apprehensive 2 year old. However, the front end staff are something else, very rude and snippy on the phone and in person. Scheduling an appointment is like asking for the world it seems. very unprofessional.

I have been going to this office since my boy was 1 years old, he is 9 now. Dr. Flander is an accelerant doctor and the nurse is fantstic but service staff has gone horrible over the years. They answer the phone with a big sigh and snappy manners. It is very hard to get good pediatricians in Toronto so I am sticking with this office but it is kind of frustrating.

It's all about the people! At reception my arrival is always promptly acknowledged with a smile and my name and "I'll tell them that you're here." The interaction with the dental health professionals is warm and relaxed. Following a more serious procedure, I've had calls from reception at my dentist's request to make sure everything's alright. I had an appointment here the other day. It was sensational. The receptionist is so kind, so are all the staff! I was most impressed with the dental hygienist. Her name is Adrienne. She was professional, painless, funny and thorough. My teeth have never been so clean. I usually hate going to the dentist but I actually had a nice time. And they are fantastic: From the gracious, capable, communicative and ever helpful reception staff, to the brilliantly professional, kind, gentle and efficient hygienists (I've had three in 25 years - wonderful consistency) to the man at the helm, Dr. Sidney Zucker - the 'dentists' dentist - who inspires confidence every time you sit in his chair, is as considerate as possible and, from a lay persons perspective, is as knowledgable and capable as any person can be in their profession. Dawson Dental -forever Queen St. Dental for those of us who are lifers - is the best dentist in Toronto. Bar none.

I had no previous issues with Dawson Dental, besides the feeling of constantly being told I needed work I was confident I didn't need, until relatively recently. I have not been to the office in over 2 years because I no longer have coverage. About a year ago, I received something in the mail saying a portion of my last appointment (which was over a YEAR ago) was not covered by my insurance. Though the amount was small, I was still concerned about the length of time it took for them to notify me about the remaining amount. I had called several times asking about it and I always got the same answer: "No one from finances is able to speak to you about this right now." I also sent several emails and never received a response. I have still never received a copy of the original bill, which I asked for. I paid the remaining balance because I was tired of never receiving any help with the issue and it was negatively affecting my credit. I would not recommend Dawson Dental to anyone. I constantly feel they are just trying to make as much money off of their patients as possible and actually have little concern for their patients' dental health.

They treat patients very badly and have no accountability for their work. If they mess something up, they won't fix it just try to charge you more money and try to bully you into not complaining. They have a "buyer beware" attitude towards their services which is beyond inappropriate for healthcare. If you try to politely resolve an issue, they will just try to shift blame or be aggressive at you until you leave. I can't recommend strongly enough to not go to this awful place.

I've been to a few different dental offices over the years and I recently had my first appointment with Dawson Dental and it was actually really great. Emily booked my appointment for my son and I and really took the time to get to know a bit about us. When we arrived for the appointment she knew exactly who we were and even had a paw patrol toy for my son! (His favourite show!) Such a sweet gesture and made a great first impression on him to calm his nerves about his first visit there. Dr. Tai was so patient and friendly and kept my son smiling the whole visit. Nice office and the hygienists and admin staff create a pleasant environment. The dentists are professional although inexperienced. I was told by a staff dentist I needed a ten year old filling replaced. I was skeptical given I had not experienced any pain or discomfort with that tooth. I went with the recommendation and my tooth was cracked in the process requiring a root canal to completely resolve the issue. The dentist disagrees the crack and filling were related events but agrees the precondition of a cracked tooth could have been revealed during the filling process. Seemed logical to me that some discomfort would have been experienced with a cracked tooth over a ten year span from the last filling if it had been a precondition. Everyone makes mistakes but it felt like the dentist wasn’t being transparent about the event, so I switched to an office with more experienced dentists. Happily, I haven’t had a cracked tooth since the switch.
