5 Star Service All Round!!! I live 3 hours away and needed an electric water heater to be replaced in a condominium to complete conditions of an estate sale. I called Paul and he was flexible in being able make arrangements to meet my Real Estate Agent ( Aimee Puthon ) to have the old tank removed and new tank installed. They were very professional and careful by using drop sheets for the install and removal. Thank you very much for making everything go so smoothly!

Very happy with BAP! We had our 15 year old furnace break down on the coldest week of the year and the company who originally installed it and who we paid insurance to for it couldn't do anything for several days leaving us stuck in the cold scrambling to find space heaters and a new furnace company. BAP were able to come out to give us a very reasonable estimate immediately(!) and replaced it the very next day. They were very nice, professional and did a great job. We love our new Amana furnace, it is keeping us warm and we are so grateful that BAP were able to help us so quickly and completely. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for heating or cooling repairs or a new furnace or AC unit, they do very good work fast at a fair price.

Our experience with BAP has been positive. They were patient with our questions and thorough with their answers; accounted for the age of our home is preparing their recommendations; prompt with their estimates; and, were competitive with their quote. The installation of furnace, air conditioner, water heater and softener were well done, and started/completed ahead of when we anticipated. The removal of old equipment and the install of the new were handled with care, attention to details that laypeople wouldn’t think about, and the work site kept tidy as the work progressed. The guys were obliging and a pleasure to have working around the place. Full marks to BAP; a positive recommendation; and, would deal with them again.

Called a few different places and found this one had the best reviews and the prices were fair. The gentleman that came out to do the install was very friendly and knowledgeable. Funny enough our water pressure had changed from when another company did our water softener, and we noticed the pressure was off. The rep went out of his way and noticed the water wasn't fully back on. It was a little thing that saved us a headache of calling someone back out. Thank you for getting us back on track through this very COLD and dry winter. We highly recommend using B.A.P. Great customer service!!!!

The guys from Oosterveld were extremely professional and friendly. They were clean and quick with their work. They were very knowledgeable and helped me in deciding where my AC should go with their professional opinions. I was left with no questions as they provided me with all the info needed after the instillation. I would highly recommend Oosterveld for any heating and cooling needs.

Water heaters leaking and manufacturer agreed to replace it under warranty. I just have to get a contractor to receive the new tank and install it. Called oosterveld. No one there to talk to at the main number so left a message with an advisor. Two days later no return call. Call again and talk to someone in the office. Guy doubted anyone would give me a free water heater under warranty and quotes 800 bucks flat rate just to install. Called a different local company who quoted less than half that and was immediately familiar with the warranty replacement process. They should really consider outsourcing their customer service and not allow anyone in the office to talk to customers because it's costing them business.

I have been satisfied with oosterveld in the past however after my recent attempt to use their service i have had to find an alternative. The combination of a service technician who stormed off when asked whether he brought replacement parts and an unapologetic owner are not reassuring signs of a customer focused business.

John was actually 10 minutes early, rare for a service tech in my experience, and diagnosed the problem with my A/C unit very quickly. He explained what he was checking as he went along and showed me the problem so I could see for myself. He also gave me some tips to help it work better. He was polite, friendly and courteous throughout the service call.

I was charges $278 for a total of 15 minutes of service and a $54 dollar part. I don't recommend any one use this company. Make sure you know the total true cost of the repair before you let these guys through your door. Buyer beware

Bad Customer Service! I have just been on the phone with an Oosterveld rep who told me that because the job I need doing isn't a big money-maker for them they wouldn't be able to book me in until the end of summer despite having availability for booking "into the 2nd week of August". I was told "little jobs like that" are usually done at the end of summer. Even when I explained that I needed this job to be done before renovations could begin (which was a "summer" job) and the second week of August would work just fine, I was laughed at. I also reiterated what I was hearing and asked for clarification that indeed because they stood to make more money off someone else who had yet to book, they were unable to help me, a paying customer who had called them today. Not a business model to build customers relationships to say the least!!!

Simon was extremely knowledgeable and was able to identify and fix the problem as well educate me on furnace filters, I tend to buy high end but in actual fact they tend to constrict the air flow more, so he recommended the proper filter. Also Claudia was very professional and easy to deal with on the phone so always good to make a good first impression. Lastly cost, thought the pricing was very reasonable and would go back to Oosterveld.

Purchased a Napoleon 9600 96% efficiency premium furnace from Ultra Comfort Guelph after our furnace died in a cold snap. I chose Ultra Comfort because they carry a full line of Canadian made Napoleon Heating and Cooling products. Ray in Sales gave us a great deal on the furnace and was able to offer next day install and set-up. The installer is excellent and very professional. Shane made sure his work areas were cleaned up and answered all my questions. Quality work. Morris from Ultra Comfort made several trips to the house during the process to ensure I was satisfied and explained everything in detail. Ultra Comfort completed all Rebate and warranty forms on our behalf. Ultra Comfort Guelph has a good selection of HVAC products and brands and are an authorized Napoleon dealer. Our York furnace broke down and called another company who failed to show up twice. Called Ultra Comfort Guelph and they sent technician same day and they fixed my furnace. This was worth the $100 service call as the other company was trying to give me a quote on the phone for a replacement furnace even before trying to send over a technician. Highly recommend this company. Will definitely call them again when in the market for a replacement unit.

My furnace died last Thursday afternoon and by Friday afternoon I had a brand new furnace installed. I had no idea who to call and a friend recommended Guelph Climate Care. I am so glad they did. The diagnostic technician and the fellows who installed the furnace were wonderful. They explained the problem clearly, there was never any pressure to buy a particular furnace and were careful to leave the house clean. When my A/C dies, I will won’t hesitate to call this company again.

Update* They called, I didn't answer because I found someone to remove it for a the normal callout rate of $160.00. By the sound of the voice mail this place likes to start high with their price in hopes you accept it. Then they drop it if you don't. Price games. Prices are outrageous. $360 bucks just to remove the gas from the unit. That's all, nothing more, nothing less. $360 bucks just to remove the gas... Wow. Good luck with that. Buyer beware...

Years ago in the winder I had my system die on me, they where so fair with the next day service and billing and didn't try to sell me a new system at that point but showed me what little thing caused the issue and cleaned the condensation drain. Fast track a couple years... I had issues in the past where a contractor caused issues with my system when cleaning my vents they came in helped me with the claim and help me get is all sorted out and managed to get a fair bit covered on rebates. The service was great.... Fast track again I forgot to take them up on the next year free inspection and they still allowed it later. Again service was great and they where so nice to my dog. Would for sure recomend and will repeat my purchase with them.

I purchased an American Standard furnace from Hogg in November of 2017. Within 6 weeks, we needed to change the main board. A couple of weeks later we needed to replace piping that cracked between the furnace and venting. On top of that we needed to install a new return vent. I think Scott was so eager to sell me a furnace that he presumed the existing duct work could handle the new furnace. I recall asking him whether existing ductwork was sufficient and he said that he had no concerns. The only silver lining was that the service in response to all the hassle was very good. I'd be cautious with Hogg.

Water Heater Fixed Immediately. We put out a call to Hall's in the morning. The boys arrived on time and were very professional in their work. They replaced my water heater with a new one. No questions asked. The guys (Justin & Doug) were knowledgeable, and courteous. I had no issue with them at all. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed repair work on their water heater, or AC.

Our air conditioner wasn’t working and a technician came to fix it. He said it needed a new part. Halls quoted a price of $225 for the part. We bought it elsewhere for $40. We still had to pay $130 for an installation that Halls didn’t do. Office staff and the technician both only seemed to care that they received payment for service. I also requested that they keep me informed about approximately when they were coming which they didn’t do. I had to keep calling back. I was very unimpressed.

Replaced my AC unit. Showed up a bit later than scheduled and went to the house across the street because the service writer wrote down the wrong address. Once that was sorted they were great. Very professional, very clean, very polite. Invoice was exactly what they quoted (no attempt to pad the bill as some companies will do. I would definitely call them again.

Called to have furnace maintenance done.After first being told everything was good I was then told the furance was having overheating issues. After a few hours he tells me he doesn't know why and says he can do nothing. Was asked to pay bill and my invoice would be emailed to me. It never was emailed called back to ask again still no email. Then I asked for them to mail it to me. 3 weeks later still no invoice. Called back was told a tech would drop it off to my house the next day. Needless to say 3 days later still nothing. Have asked for the owner to call but am having my doubts. They expect payment but won't show you what they charged you for. 2 months just trying to get an invoice. A friend used them around the same time and they have never received an invoice either.

Engineer came out to assess and service gas fire, advised it would take 1-2 weeks to order and install new part. Confirmed an estimate for the works would be emailed before progressing the works. 1 day short of 2 weeks later and we’re still waiting for any of the actions to be carried out. I have also left 5 phone messages requesting an update and to date nothing. In the end we appointed another firm. Would not recommend.

I work in an industry that often needs the assistance of a heating and cooling company, so have referred this company several times to my clients. What a shock when I went to use them for myself and received the most unfair treatment. The serviceman, who I was later told was the owner was supposed to come to install new parts for us. He never showed for the appointment. I tried calling to find out if and when the parts would be installed, no one ever returned my call. I will now pay another company a service fee and order the parts through them...

First time using Hall's Heat and Cool, in Guelph Ontario. A/C went down, and I thought it would be the main motor (which was burning hot when I went to investigate). Repairman arrived early in the service window, quickly diagnosed a blown motor cap, not the motor itself. Replaced capacitor quickly and professionally, and cost was reasonable.

Probably the worst service I've ever had, repeatedly at that. Wellington Plumbers screwed up numerous times with my home renovations, and wouldn't take fault for their actions. I had physical proof of their mistakes but they were just rude and arrogant when trying to deal with them. Such a shame as I wanted a local reputable company but was let down.

Worst company ever. Leave urine in bottles on sites because too lazy to walk to washroom. Sketchy workmanship tying plumbing supports into locking studs on industrial steel framing. Would never even consider using this company. HVAC guys they have working for them are pretty good and clean and always pickup after themselves. If you want quality work look elsewhere.

Our furnace failed a couple of days ago and they sent a technician immediately to look at it. After determining that we'd need to replace it they were able to do so the next day. An excellent experience all round. When my furnace broke down Curtis was onsite within an hour of my call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and we decided that the furnace needed to be replaced. Yuri was there within an hour to discuss options. Alex & Chris were there the next morning with a new unit and it was completely installed and running by mid-afternoon. Early the following week I noticed a problem with the humidifier and Chris was back out in less than hour to check it out. He got it working immediately. Great teamwork, many thanks.

Bought a new 50 gallon hot water tank and installed 2 days ago. Found odor in the water. I called the office and they immediately sent another technician to come. A leak was discovered and was fixed. Then I spoke to the manager. He made it up by giving me a free service for my furnace. Appreciate the effort to compensate.

New furnace and air conditioning installed resulting from a service call on my old furnace. Russ did the service call on Friday night, got the old beast up and running within 2 hours of my call. Al came Saturday morning to discuss the options of purchasing a new furnace/air conditioning. All options were discussed and no pressure was felt when making my final decision. Monday morning at 8:15, Alex, Brock and Rob came and within 6 hours installed a new furnace and air conditioner. They were very friendly, helpful with going over the new thermostat and did not leave any mess behind. All the people I dealt with since Friday night were very courteous and understanding, including Karen, who took my panic call on Friday regarding the furnace not working :)

Sales Consultant Yuri was very helpful and we never felt pressured to purchase anything we didn't want. Installers Rob and Chris were very professional, efficient, and paid attention to detail. We had a new furnace and A/C installed all in one day, and the end result looks very clean and works well. In particular, the new intake/exhaust pipes look very clean compared to the work that was done by another company at a previous time. Rob and Chris explained how everything works, and answered all questions. We're very happy overall.

one of their employees was driving their work van like a porche and cut me off at college and the hanlon ( go up to a red light too ) and then at the next light said 'i had enough room for that maneuver'. you shouldn't be driving a van full of tools like that anyway not good for the tools and not safe. their craftmanship and customer service is probably as bad as their driving

We've had Hy-mark to the house several times for plumbing, very good experience, very thorough and friendly. Would recommend highly. Update, our furnace was looking like it was on its' last legs and winter was not the time of year we were hoping to replace it. We contacted Hy Mark and they came and measured. They arrived punctually the following morning to do the installation. Despite insisting they need not use a drop sheet in our tiled entrance hallway they did. They worked meticulously and most importantly cleaned up the materials and debris as they went along. The work was done efficiently within the estimated time. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

We dealt with Hy-Mark because they had serviced the original furnace put in our house 14 years ago and we were always very pleased with their prompt, professional, thorough service. Because they earned our loyalty we naturally asked them to make recommendations and give us a quote on a new furnace. Because we are prudent, we also asked another reputable local business for a quote as well. The two quotes were very close, but we were happy to stay with Hy-Mark. Their installation of the new (and removal of the old) was on the day and time agreed, at the price agreed, and very professional.

24-Hour Emergency Service! This sounds great, since my pilot light is out and it's November in Canada. Since Hy-Mark installed my furnace, they should be able to help. However, the furnace is now 3 years old, and surprisingly too old to service. However, there was a solution. They directed me to Google to search for HVAC repair. The first result was HyMark 24-hour emergency service. Sweet. Thus, a 1 star rating.

Please be advised that Reid was an excellent installer of our new water heater. When he visited last week to do an inspection, he was very knowledge and explained the process involved in replacing a rented water heater and informed us that he was recommending our old water heater be replaced. When he arrived today to replace the water heater he was very careful to make sure there was no residue in our house and "laid out the red carpet" and of course cleaned up following the installation. In the past my experience with Reliance fixing my water heater has not been good, but this time was much better. The service lady took my call Thursday and promised a Friday call between 1 and 5. Reid called me at 2:20 and arrived promptly. He fixed my valve within minutes and took the time to talk to me and answer some questions I had about the water heater. Reid was friendly and professional. The valve has not leaked since so his work was good. Overall a good experience.
