My first visit I waited over 1 hour and had to leave for a meeting at work so I have yet to meet Dr. Ben. I understand that some types of Doctors will fall behind but they know this and should schedule accordingly. None of my other health care professionals and specialists have every been this far behind.

I'm 26 and just had to have a hysterectomy. Dr Ben was amazing he took care of me physically managing my pain etc but he went above and beyond taking care of me emotionally making sure I was okay before my surgery and coming to see me right when I was awake. I have never had such an amazing experience with a doctor.

THIS MAN IS A CREEP AND SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING ANYWHERE! I went to see Dr. Namis after my family doctor referred me to get an IUD put in. I booked the appointment and got in very quickly within the week, but probably because his office is a revolving door of mistreated patients. I was expecting the first appointment to be a consult because he didn't even know me or my history and the receptionist told me he would put the IUD that day before he had even consulted me, which I thought was weird. After waiting an hour past my scheduled time I was called in. He was creepy at the appointment and in his tiny office it was dirty and cramped. Throughout the entire visit I felt uncomfortable with him to which he replied “it’s okay honey” multiple times. He did a PAP as this was my first trip to the gynocogist and then scheduled me for an ultrasound before I got the IUD because he felt I was tender on the right side of my uterus. He only stated I would be getting an external ultrasound. Little did I know that when I showed up for my “ultrasound” it was really an external ultrasound and then an internal probe exam which he did not inform me of, which confused me and angered me that he didn’t tell me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I then went back a week later for what I thought would be a follow up on the results of my ultrasound and probe. THE WAIT WAS 2 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES PAST MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. Many patients in the waiting room were unhappy at the absence wait time because Dr. Namis was constantly on the phone to what sounded like an old friend asking for advice on every patient. For someone who has be practicing 48 years plus you would think he would know something for himself. Anyway, I finally got called in by the deadpan receptionist and before I even got in the room he said “you can remove your lower half of clothing”. Which shocked me because I wanted to know the results of my ultrasound and probe to see if it was okay that I got the IUD, but he clearly forgot and just wanted to shove the IUD so he could keep making his way through the buildup of unhappy patients in his waiting room. I wasn’t even under the impression I would be getting the IUD inserted that day either! He never explained to me what showed up on my ultrasound even though I kept asking him for clarification. As soon as he knew I didn't want the IUD inserted that day he basically abruptly ended the appointment and I left within 3 minutes of being in the room. I immediately cancelled my next appointment and will NEVER BE GOING BACK. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN!

As others have mentioned, you have to pay $4 for parking, which is just a money grab, but the worst part is that it's not even a good system. You have to use a machine inside the building and pay inside. So if you forget, or if your ticket doesn't work for some reason, you're stuck at the gate unable to get out with people behind you getting irritated, and if you use the intercom for assistance the parking attendant is useless, they just tell you to go back inside to the machine. As far as the doctors go, I've had two family doctors here. I loved the first but she moved away. The new one is okay but often seems too busy, so she'll probably be on stress leave soon and I'll wind up with a new one yet again. I went to the walk-in once for itchy painful bumps I had, and saw a different doctor who literally laughed at me, and told me it was nothing serious, just ingrown hairs, then a week later I was covered in boils the size of golf balls.

Good Grief Guru

Mike at IDA is genuinely compassionate, and down to earth. He's effective at his job, and also caring about his customers. We popped into the new IDA one day while waiting for our pizza. After a brief conversation with Mike we knew this was the pharmacist for us. Our family highly recommends him, and this IDA. I just wish more companies followed their lead and were as customer-centric as he is. Thanks for being awesome, Mike. We can't imagine going anywhere else.

Best pharmacy in Guelph .knows me by name and is super professional . I definitely recommend him highly. And I'm super picky . I have been to many pharmacies. Big box stores treat u like a customer but with Mike he treats you like a person and actually care .:) I got my friend to switch and she was very happy as well . And trust me I pretty much have problems with all the pharmacys I have delt with . If you treat me good I'm a loyal customer 4 life ;) also many of the big pharmaceutics are charging $20 just two get a refill from your doctor 😑
