Great place, full of activites for kids and adults. Very spacious and full of natural light. Located at the south end of Barrie. City of Barrie offers many many different sport programs and activities here at a good price. Our daughter continues to try different activities during the winter months as well as summer camps.

This is an amazing facility. Hockey, swimming pool with slide, basketball, and a gym. Well designed with good viewing areas for hockey. Really well maintained and has a modern feel. It would be great if there was more resources and space allocated to the arts. This could be easily integrated into an institution like this. We need to support the arts in the same way we support sports.

Definitely the nicest recreation center in Barrie this year. Large pool with a diving board, large slide, separate kids pool with a Jacuzzi for adults. The change rooms are kept clean though not the most private change rooms...they also don't have bathing suit dryers. There is an ice rink, fitness center, and gym all available for use. Lots of programing options for the whole family. Lastly the prices of memberships are reasonable if you go regularly and are usable at all the rec centers in Barrie.

Not sure what to make of this place but the first impression is not good. Signed up my daughter last minute on Thurs. for a program that starts on Sunday of the same week. My wife called and we got the price over the phone. $201 When I got there the representative that had me fill out the application. She asked of it was okay to email the receipt. I agreed. As my child had to go to the bathroom which I took her. Left my Visa with the representative to charge my card. (Normally not something I do) When I got back she told about a membership fee to Ontario Gymnastics to the tune of $43. Additionally she charged me for 2 X $20 Raffle tickets. I said okay assuming that the price was inclusive of the price that was quoted over the phone. Later in the day I checked my email knowing that it would go to junk mail. Now I have a bill for $284. What do you think.....?

I love this community centre. The fitness room is well maintained and has everything you need. It's not huge, but rarely busy. The pool and change rooms are great. The building is always clean (as clean as possible in winter months with people tracking sand and salt in. I have never met a rude staff member. My daughter has been having swimming lessons here for years and the swim staff and lifeguards are excellent. Austin is an amazing swim instructor and really stands out. He is so good with little kids. Watching a young man wrangle a group of 3-4 year olds with such ease is commendable.

I now go here fairly regularly. The facility is very nice. The staff are always very helpful. It is always a pleasure using a facility when the staff are so friendly and accommodating too. When I am setting up, they make sure that I have a table, chairs and power and will come over to check on my needs throughout the weekend. The staff really seems to like their jobs and it shows.

Great party Venue! we rented this Hall for our engagement party and although its a little pricey considering there isnt much of a kitchen to work with, the atmosphere with a little back lighting is amazing not to mention the veiw of our beautiful bay and city lights reflecting in the water. I would definitely recommend!

What stone was amazing as a young child growing up playing soccer. The team is generally have people all skill levels, and it’s compatible enough to be fine without being dangerous or demoralizing to those of lesser skill. It was fun playing here in the winter when the rep soccer league was not going on. The golf there is also really fun and the paintball is interesting if that’s what you’re into, it also has a mix of amateurs to decent players, I’ve never rented anyone highly skilled however there have been people who are significantly better than average, compared to a regular paintball the rubber balls don’t really leave a mark or anything unless you get them in the neck or face.

Great variety of activities and soccer league options! Referee’s can be a bit iffy at times, one did threaten to fight one of my players in the parking lot but other than that it is a great place! The indoor driving range is an amazing winter activity.

I personally have only played paintball. But other friends have played soccer and I have gotten good info from them. First part is about the reball side. Facility itself is big but staging area for paintball is shared with soccer. Normally crowded and you need to watch your gear for any pirates or theives. The front desk is very helpful but does get busy and slows down every so often. It is LLBO so if you're 18 and over you can grab a drink. However it does get a bit cold in the dome itself. In the building its rather warm. Clean washrooms and a good little lounge. Food is okay. Its general snackbar food so what can you expect? Not bad and on the better side of things. Sometimes will have tons of kids running around and I know its not the staffs fault rather the parents for not supervising or caring about them. For any emergencies they have the right means to treat any injuries and are very professional. I just destroyed my fingernail and needed a bandaid to stop the bleeding and they made sure I was all fine. Friend had someone stick a cleat in his Calf and another broke is ankle and the staff was very kind and quick to help out. But the cold in the dome itself does hurt paintball guns. Some don't run too good like people with luxe 2.0s. Have yet to see one work thats not an ICE. Tons of people bundle up and you will see paintball players running into the soccer field to set their guns by the heaters. Sometimes only 1 sometimes 15. Doesn't really matter for the average player as they wear jerseys and padding but soccer players would probably need it more. Reball is now run by William Gordon of the OPPA. Stand up guy and amazing crew. Trying their best to help out. Compressor went down this season but they got it up and running again. Field itself is a bit small. 5 on 5 max and the bunkers aren't the greatest but its the best they can do. They fall over often and deflate rather quick. New layouts every week and bunch of regulars coming back. Other cons/issues are some reballs are od shapped and I found 10 .50cal reballs that were jamming up my loader. Also the lack of reballs. We tend to run out of reballs rather quick when its gun owners. Then we have to scoop them out from the field and under the bunkers and get them into the picker. Only issue is the picker isn't as versatile and hard to weave in and out of the bunkers. Also pod packs are no longer allowed. Not a gripe for me since I can keep track during hopper ball but others resort to using full pinokio hoppers. The only few issues are some cheaters not calling hits since it is now the honor system. Sometimes they can't feel it but blatantly ignoring hits gets me a bit cheesed. If they maybe had a few more sets of eyes on the field at a time it would help out a lot more. Also a better way of collecting reballs and possibly buying some new bunkers. And some more reballs please. On the soccer side. Field is great. Turf is great. Nothing is bad at all. Field has some heaters around it and can't really find any cons about it for soccer. Very bright and clean.

I have been playing ultimate frisbee here every Monday during the fall and winter league for 2 years. Really neat facility. Fairly bare bones but the service desk has excellent customer service and cold beer at a very good price! The main field turf is still in pretty good condition but the small field is basically a thin carpet on concrete so not good with cleats. Plenty of parking and change rooms and washrooms

Our team decided to have our staff gathering at Bullseye Axe Throwing this past weekend. We had a group of 20 people attend to encourage team building. The team at Bullseye Axe throwing went above and beyond expectations, and I will honestly be recommending them as much as I can. Not only were they friendly, professional and fun but made sure everyone had a great time! Beyond that, our team went a little over our time limit toward closing on a Saturday night. NOT ONCE did they rush us out, or lower their standards of service. They took their time as if it wasn't even happening. These guys build the guidelines of customer service. Had a great experience. I have done many rooms in the past and this one was by far the best. We did the "Against Your Will" and it was very challenging. We required many hints, as this one there are no limits. No matter what they want you to complete the whole puzzle. They encourage you to have the whole experience. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a great night out. We will definitely be returning.

Went on Valentines day with my girlfriend, her sister, and her significant other, not knowing what to expect as none of us had ever done an escape room before, but we were shocked at how much fun we had. Very detailed briefing, funny host, very immersive experience, had a blast! We did the “Against your will” room, and we were very impressed! Thanks for an awesome time!

We did the Simcoe Arms escape with friends and really enjoyed it. I especially liked that it was custom-made, loosely based on a local landmark, rather than being a "canned" scenario from a franchise. My wife liked that the rooms were totally enclosed (a complete recreation of an elevator and motel suite) instead of having the open-ceiling cubicle style we've played elsewhere. She also liked that the supervisor communicated with us via TV screens rather than being in the rooms with us. I also enjoyed the aspect that some (not real) handguns and rifles were part of the solution. The overall theme and atmosphere were very well presented. I would very much recommend this specific room to those who enjoy, or want to try, to escape the room. The only complaint from the other couple was that most of the puzzles involved finding a number or letter combination for a lock, although there was still a variety in how those were hidden or presented, and there were also some puzzles that involved moving items or pushing colour-coded buttons. The incorporation of UV was an extra thrill.

We ended up finishing 9th all time! I would recommend Escape Room Barrie to anyone who is either a veteran of escape rooms or new to the scene!

Had a great time at Iron Nation! The only complaint I have was the attendant whose name I believe was Abby. She was extremely helpful in helping us learn how to throw and make small adjustments. However, she used allot of profanity including several “f-bombs” and made several sexual references. It made the experience sub-par. Despite this she was very helpful.

Worst disc golf course ever! None of the maps of the course match the actual layout, posts are missing and numbers do not match. If you're looking to practice it's fine but an actual game its miserable!!

This is an awesome course! I got into disc golf a few years back and it has a great mix of wide open holes and some really challenging holes down in the forest. Being so close to the dump it's never smelled even in the summer heat. I've seen lots of people more experienced than myself playing and they always are very encouraging and offering tips and advice. Some people walking their dogs in the park as well which is nice. The city does a good job maintaining the grounds and the holes have been recently improved with signs etc. Really fun! It's self serve in that there's no fee, no rentals and just a porta-potty. So you will need a good pair of shoes and your own equipment.

Loved this course. As an American it was a fun course to play. Almost all 3s. Could use a little grooming on 18. Also needs better signage for some holes, preferably at the baskets. But other then that. This wonderful free to play course is beautiful.

This used to be one of the seediest places in Barrie. Since the city invested in making this park a family oriented place with the splash pad and playground, all the children seemed to have chased the darker side of Barrie away. Brilliant idea, and kudos to those responsible for this park.

This place is great. Skate park, children's park, basketball court and splash pad. Large open field for playing as well. We have gone several times and find it very safe and enjoyable. There is a covered area for eating or depending on the weather just pick a spot out in the open.

Reboot Computer Repairs

The splash pad is great for The kids but I found a used dirty diaper and some wipes on the seat of the picnic table. I have my sister in law and father in law from the philippines visiting this great city. What would they think?

Took my one and a half year old there to play in the splash pad. It's pretty cool, he loved it. There are tennis courts there too but they're asphalt, so not so great for serious players.

Great park with lots to do. Bathroom and change room and dusk dances was on when we were there. Dance lessons and performances and live music and it was pay by donation.

Lovely looking Rec centre, well maintained with lots of kid friendly options. The toddler pool is always so lovely and warm(not because of baby pee, but because they keep it warmer since small children get cold much more easily than us adults). Their registered activities are very decently priced, especially coming from Toronto where they were double or more the cost.

Nice arenas, there are 2 ice pads and the one we played on was huge. Maybe a bit big for younger kids but great for their cardio. Nice seating some in arena some outside in warmth with good view of the ice. Standing room is plentiful, and the stands are heated.

We visited the facility in early November for our sons hockey tournament and loved the rink and seating area. The change rooms were large and spacious and plentiful too. You can also see the games through the glass windows from the comfort of the warmth outside the rink. The only issue was the giant net that decreases visibility specially if you are trying to take pictures. All in all a great facility.

It was good. I figure skate thru the innisfil parks and rec program, my skating coach was awesome they hired the right one. The the place was clean good and nice staff. The floors in the dressing room are a bit bad....they smell like ashfault.

I went for a tour for my 5 month old child, and was VERY impressed with this facility. It is bright , open and has a positive energy to it. The staff are friendly. I got put on the waitlist for when my little girl turns 18 months and I can't wait. Very impressed Bulldog. Keep it up.

Reviewing specifically for a birthday party. Bulldog is a large facility with lots of space for the kids and was clean and well looked after. Beware of very slippery floors when just in socks. Staff were friendly but mostly distant and inattentive. We were pretty much left alone and not helped or talked to for the entire duration of the party. We had to find our own things in the kitchen to serve during pizza time. The kids were first brought into the gymnasium, where after a very brief meeting with a staff member, were left to their own devices to run around the gym for half an hour. We had to ask to use the balls, they weren't offered. I wish I had been better instructed that the staff were going to have zero involvement whatsoever in leading the children in gym time and games so I could have been more prepared. There was not a lot for the kids to do in the party room either, the main focus was a small sized play structure for climbing on. I wish staff would have been more helpful and friendly with encouraging the children to try the video games and climbing wall. Parties are allowed up to 15 children, but only 2 pizzas with a total of 20 slices are provided. That isn't enough for all children to have 2 slices. I was fine with supervising and being a watchful eye and helping the party-goers, but I just wish staff had been more helpful. Bulldog, make it clear that parents are responsible for leading all activities and showing the kids where everything is and how to use it ?? Not convinced I would go back at this point with the lackluster staff.
