After trying several different places i was so pleased with the results after Teddy received the full treatment. It is a very busy place, an indicator of how people like it. Teddy is so happy to go in and look for new pals in the back yard which is fenced in. Upon my return a few hours later he is happy to see me by So relaxed and not anxious to leave. We took our 5 month puppy Rogue here for her Beginner 1 classes. We receive great tips & help on learning how to correct & prevent problem behaviors but also reassuring good behaviors. Rouge started class in the Dec 2018 and graduated in January 2019 the 8 weeks was worth every penny, & Im so happy we did this for her. They also provide puppy day care, & they do a free hour & a half FREE assessment (must be booked in advance). Honestly though I love this place, its filled with great friendly hard working staff that are they to help with anything and great you with a warm welcome every time.

I didn't buy anything from the store, but there was an employee (who i unfortunately didn't get her name that really impressed me). My girlfriend and I were looking at the reptiles, and the employee came right up to us, took a couple of the geckos out. One was quite skinny, to which she immediately said, they were feeding him high fat foods to make him gain weight, as well as watching out for some stuck shed on him. She also went on to explain how she went out of her own way to figure out where all the reptiles were coming from, AND THEN SHE SAID SHE HATES ALL THE SAND PRODUCTS. She should be commended on her knowledge and approach to reptile keeping! If we didn't already have 4 at home, we probably would have purchased the gecko on the spot because of how comfortable we were with her knowledge!

I have a dog and a 50g fish tank, I would prefer to go to big als for BOTH of their needs. Their plant section is gross and they have plants uprooted everywhere and covered in pest snails. In all fairness one never wants to give a bad review, and in the past if I've been dissatisfied with any business I have chosen not to do business with that company/person again and I forgo reviewing and move on. In this case I want to say that after several appointments the quality of grooming and attitude is poor, and that's not acceptable when one is paying top dollar for the service. I cannot recommend or refer this groomer as there's many other quality options out there.

On grooming day, all I have to say to Deuce is..."let's go to Krista's" and he goes crazy. Not only did I receive great advice, their price for the surgery was substantially less than our previous clinic for the same service. Dr Spring and the team at Simcoe Vet are very thorough, take the time to explain the condition as well as possible options, and only recommend tests that are necessary to provide the best care for my dogs. I won't take my dogs anywhere else, and my in-laws have also transferred theirs dogs care to Dr. Spring. Thanks guys!!

We moved to Barrie a year ago with our two chihuahuas. We lived in Florida and Trinidad&Tobago before here and SVH is by far the best veterinarian service we have ever experienced. The change of climate here affected our dogs in many ways and because of that we have been to SVH several times in the last year. Fortunately they offer pet insurance, which saves us a TON of money but it certainly doesn't change the quality of care. Dr Spring is our dogs' favorite vet, and Dr Bolton is amazing too. The staff truly cares for animals and they treat ours and all others with love and care - we've been there often enough to see this firsthand - and no concern is too insignificant to be checked out thoroughly. We are so lucky to have found the perfect veterinarian team via friends' recommendations. If your pets are family then they deserve the best care. Simcoe Vet Hospital gives them exactly that, and more. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

Took my pooch in for his first grooming appointment and he came out looking gorgeous and super soft. He got the furminator treatment and they brushed him so thoroughly that he has half the tail he used to! And don't mistake, that's praise, my pup had a tail like a shedding flag. When we picked him up he was happy and even we could tell he was proud of how good he looked and how he felt.
