After paying 220 for a consultation I gave a deposit of 300 dollars. Cancelled services before moving forward and asked about refund. Magically sent invoice for 300 saying it was for preparation. At consultation they printed 6 pieces of paper I'm guessing I paid 50dollars a sheet. Wondering if I gave 600 would it be 100 dollars a sheet?

Extremely unprofessional, known in the industry as a very slow working lawyer, did not file paperwork for our will for over 2 years as we discovered this was the delay and then right as we are to sign the last documents of release 3.5 years in he withdrew his services due to 3 follow up calls. These calls only took place because he said each week he would be ready for us to sign the papers the following week. DO NOT RECOMMEND

After the passing of my mother-in-law in January 2018 we visited Epstein & Assoc. on Feb.1st to obtain their assistance in her Estate management. Their prime focus is getting a $2500 up-front retainer and advising their cost is $400.00 per hour. We provided all of the requested information and awaited the probate process to be finalized. Not having heard anything by July we contacted them to see what the hold up was. We were advised that we had to come in for a meeting to sign some documents. It turned out that it had been sitting on a clerks desk for 6 months and probate had not been filed. They did apologize and provided a fee reduction and assured it would be filed the next day. It wasn't but was filed that week. The probate was completed on Oct.3rd but we were not notified until Oct.22nd . When we picked up the documents, the final bill worked out to $2500 exactly. They obviously know what they are doing but not very efficient.

TAKING the "PERSONAL" out of PERSONAL INJURY *** Roger Oatley and Robert Durante took over my young son's case when a conflict of interest arose in a merger of legal firms. I was the litigation guardian for my son who was catatrophically injured as a toddler. I found the legal acumen of the firm to be satisfactory and the settlement to be fair. * Sadly, it was my experience that this "renowned" personal injury law firm took the "personal" out of personal injury. When it came to client relations Oatley Vigmond earns but a "one star" rating. You know that as a client/person, you are not important when law clerks fail to return calls, necessitating multiple duplicate calls over the years. Sadly, Oatley Vigmond lacked the professional etiquette in communication, respect, kindness and care for their client.

By far the worst group of lawyers I've ever dealt with. Our family was arranging a second mortgage on our property to do renovations. This law firm was hired by the lender to do the transaction. Since day one nothing but problems. They got the file on June 29th, and the deal did not close until August 2nd. We asked 5 times for a breakdown of disbursements, and never received until after the transaction closed. Then they had the nerve to charge us close to $ 2400.00 which included disbursements. We were told that the cost would be $ 799.00 plus disbursements as per their website. We even paid the $ 80.00 fee to have the funds deposited the same day as funding, and we had to wait 3 extra days. Efforts to get them to explain the high charges have gone unanswered. We will be taking this matter up with the Law Society. Do not do business with this law firm unless you have deep pockets.
