Great place to just unwind. Turn off the cell phone and relax. Their are No phones aloud in the spa, sauna or pool areas. Leave it in your car or locker and unwind. Food is very tasty from restaurant on site. Great facility. Will be back soon

Amazing experience! Best spa experience I have ever had. It is worth the extra coin for sure. The only odd thing was that they put more money onto your credit card at the beginning as a "credit" in case you need more money. My friends and I thought it was odd that they would do this. If we want to eat in the restaurant, we can go back to our lockers and do that.

Went yesterday for the first time and it was amazing!! Spent 4 hours and then came home and took a 2 hour nap! Who knew relaxation could be so exhausting?! I only wish they had more heated hammocks or they had a time limit, no one seemed to leave them and I was really looking forward to those! But we will definitely be back!!

Went there yesterday for the first time and it was amazing! Spent about 8 hours there enjoying the thermal experience and a massage. I really enjoyed the aufguss ritual they have every couple of hours. The pools are also great and relaxing by the warm fire was so cozy. I highly recommend visiting this place! Best spa in Winnipeg.

Had a Wonderful experience at Thermea. You do not feel like you are in Winnipeg when you are in the pools and saunas, very relaxing and tranquil, excellent for a couple to bond and connect. Nice having so many options for which parts of the site you want to spend time in. Food was good but pricey for what you get. I would like to try going back in the evening one time, and see how different that experience is. I would certainly recommend trying it out for yourself, great experience.

Thermëa is a perfect place if you are looking for a romantic getaway for a day or half a day. It is a very good place to visit with your friends and/or family as well. This place offers good selection of steam rooms (orange and eucalyptus), exfoliation station, dry sauna and sauna where the it is infused with essential oils once an hour. Every odd hour there is an extended infusion time with three essential oils. There are three different types of pools. Cold, medium hot and hot pools based on your requirement. There is a relaxation station with very calming music where you can relax or read a book and there is also a room with relaxation beds, where you can relax or sleep. You can book thermal experience where you get access to all the pools and saunas or you can book a massage or you can book one of the packages with thermal experience and a selection of massage. Bathrobes can you brought by our own or can be rented at the location. Don’t forget to bring slippers and winter hat (toque) during winters as the pools are located outdoors. Of course bring sunglasses and sunscreen in the summers. Different types of massages are offered. It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially in the weekends as it will be very busy. The therapists are very patient to listen to you and work on your body based on your request and requirement. Over all, We had a very nice experience with Thermëa and we would definitely return.

Who would have thought all the outdoor spas and saunas could feel so good in minus 20 degree weather. If you want a great relax and spa for men or women with dining and relaxing this is the place. Stars out at night but steamy pools are great.

DO NOT BUY THEIR SKINCARE PRODUCTS. The spa is amazing and all but their skincare products are horrible. I asked for a product that was meant for sensitive skin, they recommended me one that irritated and inflamed my face even more than usual irritants. Their products contain Alcohol ingredients which are very bad for your face. Again, do not buy their skincare!!

I've had issues with their facials and their massages. I have complained but nothing has ever really come from it. Now I avoid them if that's what I'm looking for. Their pedicures have been great though, so that is the only thing I come here for now. The amenities are some of the best, but if you are a couple you will be separated. In Winnipeg that's pretty normal. It's often better to do a girls day for that reason instead of a couple's thing. There's more to enjoy together. They have a great sitting area with nice variety of snacks. There is a sauna, Steam room and an over head shower. Pro tip: they have one shower in the womens room that has showers from the side too.

I was here a year ago and loved it. This time the receptionist asked me to call back when I had decided what I wanted instead of helping me decide. I don't know if it was the same person at the desk but when I checked in she said. "You've been here before - go on back." I had only been there once and a little refresher would have been nice. It was no big deal but you go to a spa for special treatment not to be brushed off and figure it out for yourself.

This was the third time I’ve been to this spa. I loved my experience here every time I’ve been and this time I had to post this rating which I never do.. I was at Thermea two weeks ago ,I’m trying to use up my gift cards received for Christmas , not impressed once again.with Thermea. Thermea is fantastic 5 Star with the amenities ie sauna pools and relaxing bed however, the spa treatments are not even comparable to this spa.. This spa is so relaxing wail I had my pedicure I almost fell asleep. My feet. looked fantastic ! The stone massage to my feet and hands is all part of the pedicure treatment at wonderful! Relaxing 5 star pedicure. Beautiful waiting area enjoy snacks and teas. Enjoy the sauna or steam room. No extra charge. 👍👍👍👍👍

If you plan on sending your very uncomfortable 37-week pregnant significant other to the spa as a chance to relieve some of her discomfort, avoid the Riverstone Spa. Basically the massage experience that is suppose to be catered specifically to pregnant women is just an incredibly overpriced normal massage. There was nothing about the experience that were tailored to help relieve the discomforts of pregnancy. Not only that, but the staff did not seem professionally trained in prenatal massage and my wife had to explain to the staff member how to set up the pillows to make her comfortable. I should have read the reviews beforehand, because my wife also experienced the two common complaints that seem to come up: 1. Other patrons talking loudly in the quiet area and the lack of staff addressing the issue, completely ruining the peaceful, relaxing spa experience. 2. Rude desk receptionist who shrugged off my wife's complaints as "well that's just your preference". My wife also had specifically requested a female therapist and was booked with a male and the staff were not at all apologetic about it and even tried to tell her that she must have made the mistake when she booked the appointment. To summarize my wife's review, if you are looking for prenatal massage or a relaxing way to take your mind off of the stress and discomforts of pregnancy, find somewhere else to go - find a registered massage therapist that actually specializes in prenatal massage and charges a reasonable price. The Mother-to-Be massage at Riverstone Spa is a HUGE waste of money and we will not be going back there.

What an amazing experience. Urban Oasis was exactly the cure I needed to break my disappointing-birthday streak. Yesterday was my 29th birthday, and I decided to go to the spa by myself. I'm going on a business trip next week, so I wanted a pedicure, but I also wanted the ability to relax all. day. Urban Oasis provided the perfect opportunity. With their complimentary all day access to their sauna, hot tub and mineral pool I felt like such a boujie queen. I was able to order a salad that they delivered to me pool-side and just relax. When it was time for my pedicure, the receptionist was SUCH a doll and put ice in my Starbucks drink that I had let sit too long. Their motto - Little Things Matter - was definitely evident in that task. I was also provided with a disposable razor so I could make sure my legs were nice and smooth for Monica who was doing my pedicure. And she did not disappoint! She gave me their complimentary "replenishment" snack while she worked on my toes and her attention to detail, her meticulous precision in clearing my cuticles and they way she devoted her time to making sure no pockets of colour were missing from the polish was inspiring to watch. Best pedicure I've received in a LONG time - even my boyfriend noticed how clean they looked when I got home. Urban Oasis I cannot thank you enough for making my birthday feel so magical and making me feel so pampered. You're truly a little gem hidden away beneath the Clarion hotel.

There has been a change here from last time I visited about 3 or 4 years ago. They used to have snacks, now they give you a plastic container with a yogurt, grapes, and a muffin. There are hot drinks and water as you please. It needs some work though. Still a good experience.

Went here for a couple's 90 minute massage; we get them on a yearly-ish basis. Massage: 4 / 5 The masseuse this go around for me was unable to prevent me from feeling her nails, which detracted from the experience. This didn't happen too often, though. The massage tables could use a memory foam upgrade. Otherwise the massage was good. Amenities: 3 / 5 No snacks, just water was made available, they've been consistently reducing what's available over the years. The robe the rented me had tears/holes and was missing a pocket. In the men's change room, one of the ceiling vents was coming off. The sink in the men's room I was in drained absurdly slow. Shower was nice and hot, however, and the men's room had plenty of toiletries. It was also supplied with heated towels and lockers with programmable locks. Cleanliness: 5 / 5 Everything was spotless, which was nice. Staff: 5 / 5 No problems. Very helpful.

PROS: Pool/Spa Pool Awkward masseuse but good massage CONS: Largest robe did not fit (im 6"2 340lbs) Sandles hurt my toes(thong type sandles) Men's change room was tiny and mirror in change room allows people to see shower and whole change room if door is opened. Womens change room only has a curtain blocking the publics view from you changing. Massage table was so high i had to jump on it. Masseuse's were speaking over each other during intros and both seemed like first day doing a couples massage. Hard to find Feel like the mens room was forgotten in the build and they retrofitted a closet. Verdict: Im sure as an average sized women it would be a good experience. However as a man, or even as a larger person Urban Oasis is lacking. Edit: dropped from 3 stars to 2 because We were undercharged by $8.40 and it was decided that without our approval or knowledge after the fact that they would charge our credit card for the difference. Now our issurance claim is wrong and we dont have a receipt for the correct amount.

I LOVE Ten Spa. I've had most of their services and they're all amazing! I HIGHLY recommend their body scrub and wraps. And the hamam is so relaxing. I could spend hours here in the steam room and rain mist shower. They have little snacks that change throughout the day, cookies and dried fruit in the morning, pitas and hummus in the afternoon and rice with seaweed wraps in the evening. I especially love the cookies they have in the morning!

First time here. We were greeted promptly and given a short tour, mostly finger pointing where to go. The girl spoke way to fast to understand most of it, but the place is easy enough to figure out on your own. The environment is really nice, as you'd expect at the Fort Garry. Everything is spotlessly clean and the staff do a great job of keeping it that way. Snacks were delicious. Lounge area could be quieter, we found it impossible to relax. Headphones would help. It was a little chilly too, warm blankets would be a nice touch. The massage service however was excellent, we both can't say enough good things about our RMTs. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

The staff are all fantastic, massage was amazing (did the Head to Toe one) they would get five stars. I can only give it four stars because of the amenities which are only about a three. It's probably a product of being on the 10th floor of an ancient building, but the plumbing doesn't seem quite up to the task. Water temperature in the showers fluctuated randomly, which detracted from the experience. Also the bathrooms themselves are quite small and a bit uncomfortable, although they are well-stocked and impeccably clean. The hair straighteners all seemed to be in various states of disrepair. Personally I was quite disappointed with the steam room and the one "experiential shower" - their website mentions German design, but that set up was a far cry from even the mid-range spas in Germany. The main Lounge is comfortable and the snacks are a very nice touch, personally I would have liked it if they had some windows to let in natural light and give people a bit of a view. I'm glad I tried Ten as my masseuse was amazing, but I think I'm going to stick to thermea because their facilities are just so much nicer.

First time I went, I called to make an appointment and they said they were booked up, and then my husband called immediately after and asked for the same time and they were able to book an appointment for him (for me). The massage was good, but it was expensive. The second time I went they made me wait for 40 minutes before calling me into the room for my massage. I was really bored waiting in the waiting room, but the massage was good. Today I went and brought my book with me assuming it would be a little late, but not really having any way of keeping track of time because you aren’t allowed to bring your phone or anything with you into the waiting room. I felt like I was there for a super long time, and I guess I was right. I have the front desk lady come up to me 2 HOURS after my appointment and say the massage therapist didn’t show up today and she was just realizing now that I was still waiting. It completely ruined my day. I didn’t even get the massage. And to top it off, there was no manager on duty to talk to so I essentially just sat in a room in a scratchy robe for 2 hours and then walked out, having wasted my day. I will never be going back again, and I will actively encourage everyone I know to book their spa treatments elsewhere.

I got the basic cleansing facial and was blown away with the treatment. I have had terrible experiences with facials in the past but this one was amazing. They started off with a back massage which i thought was a really nice touch. It didnt feel rushed like ive felt in facials in the past! I have sensitive problematic skin and have always struggled to find the right facial, with the right ambiance and the right natural ingredients that would suit my skin. I tried out their OM Fresh Facial about a year ago and I have been hooked since. My skin has improved ten folds when no other skin care product helped. The ambiance is also very relaxing, getting my facials is something I look forward to after work especially on a winter day. I also tried other services such as the body glow and wrap treatments and they made my skin so soft every time. I get all my services done through Herman who is very accommodating, listens to my concerns, understands them and helps address them in the best possible way. Can't say enough good things about her. She is amazing and has helped me deal with skin concerns tremendously!

Came to this spa for the first time after hearing lovely things from my clients. I went for the "shanti spa package" which included a manicure, pedicure, body scrub, 60 min hot stone massage & the luxurious OM fresh facial (& a lunch/ dinner of your choice) All staff were so lovely, and it's a beautiful cozy place where you feel immediately like your at home. Special thank you to Jasmine, she was so amazing! By far the most sweetest person ever, that was the best facial I have ever had. Everyone make sure you go check them out! I will be back for sure :)

I’ve gotten microneedling done by Mel and let me tell you, she is AMAZING! She makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions and concerns. You can tell that Mel loves what she does, she’s knowledgeable and it shows in her work. I was afraid and questioned what I was getting myself into, but she reassured me that it wouldn’t be painful. I have been going to Total Wrapture for a number of years (5 or more) for pedicures. For the most part, the service and work are excellent. However, the last few times, the work has been hit or miss. However, this last time (May2018) the cost of the pedicure was over $60 with tax (even though their website says $52 plus tax). Either way, $60 is just too much. I found a new place last week that did a better job and was $40. Sorry Total Wrapture, you've priced yourselves out of the market for me!

A group of us came here to get our nails done the day before my friends wedding. The vibe is super relaxing and quiet. Everyone seemed very nice. The price was ridiculously. I got a shellac manicure and regular pedicure that came to over $100. The pedicure was great but the shellac manicure was mediocre. Didn’t look the greatest, only one of the girls knew how to do designs but didn’t have all the tools to do designs I’ve seen in lower grade salons. I had 3 jewels put on my ring fingers but they all fell off within 24 hours. I didn’t bother going back as the next day was the wedding and there was just no time. The ladies didn’t help much with offering advice and their colour selection was very minimal. Next time we are definitely going somewhere else. 100$ for nails is just ridiculous.

Location is easy to miss on Ness Ave. Non-descript building behind a parking lot. Don't let that stop you. Inside is spa like, pleasant smelling and clean. Reception friendly and prompt. Impressed by the cleanliness of the treatment room. No wax stains on any walls, organized and sanitary. Everyone I came in contact with were very nice. Will definitely be back.

I have indulged in many spas in my lifetime. I did the quick fix in Pedicures in many daytime spas that offered services at low price. Unfortunately I paid for that, when I ended up with a toe infection. Mira helped me through this. She does an incredible pedicure besides otherther services. What amazes me is her wealth of knowledge on so many key ingredients, products, vitamins, diets, and meals. This is a true spa. Book an appointment and you will see.

Will not be using this company ever again. We hired them this past weekend for a bachelorette party where 5 girls received pedicures. The person showed up late then proceeded to take 5 hours for our services which we were told was only supposed to take 3. The 'esthetician' was not very personable or friendly, hurt a couple of the ladies during the service, barely filed our nails and did not seem to care how she was applying polish. It looks as though a small child applied the nail polish to be quite honest. We all made the best of the situation and had fun, but will not be using them again & do not recommend to other people looking for mobile services.

Anne and I purchased our first hot tub in March 2018 from LCL after lots of research. We have never regretted the decision. The family operation is very evident as all the staff like their roles. A couple of months after delivery we decided to move the tub from sitting on our deck to ground level and rebuilding the deck around it. Arvilla and Jay were very helpful in providing guidance on disconnecting as well as foundation suggestions at ground level. When it was time to move the 7 person tub onto its new foundation the LCL team came again to our house and took care of the job. And they did it at no cost to us! One can’t ask for better customer service than that. The hot tub works great and we are committed customers at LCL because of our wonderful experience.

Bought an 8 person Mirage Curve from LCL. From the moment I met the people at LCL I got a great feeling. We finally did end up purchasing the Mirage Curve spa from them. We have had nothing but A++++ service from the beginning. Staff, installers and contractors such as electricians and boom truck were amazing people. The ways their contractors treat their customers is a reflection of the great hands on personalized family business they are known for. We had their recommended electrician do the electrical install in our home. They also arranged boom craning the spa in to our yard along with perfect placement literally to the inch. My experience with LCL has been nothing short of outstanding. I would absolutely wholeheartedly recommend LCL. As far as the Coast Mirage 8 person wellness spa goes..... it’s beyond belief. It has exceeded all expectations. It’s a magnificent spa. It’s infinite in it’s adjustments for he perfect massage. We have used it almost daily for months. Every time we are in the spa it is truly an invigorating experience. No need to go to any spas town for relaxation. The Coast Mirage in my backyard puts them all to shame.

This is the worst salon I have personally ever been to! The esthetician, Alexa, burned me with hot wax on my eyebrow and did not even apologize to me when I told her that I think she burned my skin. I have been going to this salon for a while now. Unfortunately I will NEVER be going back due to a new girl named Alexa (an apprentice). I had a brazilian wax with her even though I requested the other, experienced, esthetician. During the service I could tell she DID NOT know how to wax my intimate area. She had me in positions that were highly uncomfortable and strange. Not only this, but her personality was very much conceited and arrogant when I asked where the other esthetician is. She then became more aggressive with the pulling in my area. Nevertheless, many hairs were left behind and she took tweezers and punctured my skin!! Ow! It drew blood and she basically said I was all done and that she would meet me upstairs, when cleaning myself up there was much more blood then I thought. Very very disappointed. Sorry Puressence our time has run it’s course especially when I have personally seen over 30 estheticians come and go in a matter of just a few years, sadly, I will NEVER return after having Alexa mess up my area badly 😞

So I have sat and stewed on this all day long and have decided nope I'm gonna share it. I received a gift certificate to get a full body 2 hr massage. I get there and the lady says we do a full body scrub are you sure you want that cause you would be ashamed me rubbing your whole body. She says we can do facial instead. So I said fine a facial. So she starts then says oh I have to charge you extra for the facial. So I'm like ok whatever. So during the facial massage she says you have such baby lips but you sure don't have a baby body. Well I didn't know what to say so I held my tongue. Then she is on and on about weight and says how much do you weigh and have you ever tried to lose weight. I just looked at her dumbfounded and I said well I weigh more than you do. She finishes my face and I said I really need to go to washroom and she hands me a robe and its a small. Well here I stand in all my glory got to pee badly and I put my arms into this robe and it didn't even cover my shoulders much less my size DD knockers. She didn't offer a towel for me to cover myself so off I trot down the hall to the bathroom. I come back and she says will you be able to turn over and lay down and I'd about had enough and turned over and said yep my fat smashes just fine...lol. So for the whole 2 hour massage she talked about my weight. I have never been so humiliated and disgusted in my life. Talk about discrimination. If you are a business and don't encourage plus size clients then say that right out rather than shaming them once there. The massage was good don't get me wrong. But I'm not a size small woman and have never been, I have curves and cushion and FEELINGS. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER. I couldn't wait for the massage to be done so I could leave. 😞😞😞😢😢😢 Shame on you Mona Lisa on Main.

Received laser hair removal services. Unfortunately results were almost not noticeable and far more painful than laser services I have received in the past from other spas. You’re in and out in 5 min for a whole Brazilian, maybe that’s why it didn’t work? Sadly wouldn’t recommend although service provider was sweet.

I went to ageless for a “years” worth of laser treatments only to find that the groupon left out that this is only for 6 sessions. The tech had no clue what she was doing and even used the laser on me once without the gel before applying the gel and going over the same spots; I made a comment about it and she said it would be okay, but definitely made me uncomfortable. After 6 treatments the hair was reduced for about a month but since has come back darker and thicker. Not worth the reduced price - save your money and go to a certified hair removal establishment.

The facility is always clean and inviting and staff are always friendly and helpful. Commercialized laser treatment,waste of money. Leah promise that after the 9 sessions my darkspot will be removed. When that day come its just that only 3 spots was removed. She intended to say go to other because what she promise is only a lie. It’s a rip off. Don’t go to groupon reviews . Be wise!

Went for laser hair removal and was sorely disappointed. After 6 sessions I was no further ahead that the first one. I've had laser hair removal before and I know it works on me. They just didn't know what they were doing. Don't fall for the groupon - it's not worth it if you just have to go somewhere else to get it done at the end of the day. On the plus side - staff were super friendly and nice.

I am extremely happy with everything from start to finish. Leah is very knowledgeable and very professional and she makes me laugh during the entire laser procedure. As a mom with two young kids, I don’t have an hour to spend getting treatment. So the fact I can get in and out in 30 mins is fantastic. I saw results by my second procedure and it just got better and better each time I went. The initial consult was very informative and she was able to answer any questions or concerns I had. She clearly notified me that nothing is guaranteed 100% and I understood the risks going into it that it might not work. Leah was very clear and I appreciated her honesty and her good vibes. I would recommend ageless spa to anyone who is thinking about laser treatments. Everyone is so friendly and eager to help when needed.

We went initially for laser hair removal sessions. Those sessions worked out so well we signed up for more/different skin treatments (we can already see a difference). As well, I picked up a couple of gift certificates for shellac manicures. We live almost 30 minutes away but the trip is absolutely worth it. Love it!

I have only ever gone for Facials and waxes with Leanne, but this is the best place! Leanne does a great job with waxing my eyebrows(I would never trust anyone else!) and keeps my skin looking great with her awesome facials. The facials are always very relaxing, and I am always very sad when they are over. She will answer all skincare questions you have and is full of helpful tips to keep your skin happy and healthy! As for the rest of the salon, you are always greeted right away when you walk in, and are offered something to drink. They have a good range of products available for sale, and will place items on hold for you if you ask! Anytime I have needed to email them regarding an appointment or a product, they are very prompt in their response! Someone will always get back to you! I would highly recommend this place!

Janelle and crew provide a professional and thoroughly enjoyable hair styling experience with every visit. The premises are beautifully appointed and comfortable, the coffee and water offered is tasty, and the bathroom is quite spacious. Parking outside of rush hours is usually available on Osborne just outside the doors, and on side streets when Osborne is unavailable. My favourite salon by far.

I love coming here. The staff is incredibly friendly. When I lived in the area I would go every month (hair cut and waxing). Now that I've moved , I still schedule my haircuts with them and travel back a few times a year. Highly recommended! Don't be afraid to chat and ask for what you want.
