For what it's worth, I am confident that Thrive would have a lot more reviews if there wasn't such a stigma in seeking help for relational and mental health. There is something very vulnerable in saying, "I saw these professionals because I needed help - and they helped me!" So here I am, combating the stigma, because I feel that Thrive deserves it. My family and I have been fortunate to see a few different therapists at Thrive (depending on our needs at the time). -Their scheduling system is painless (online booking is imperative when you're struggling!) -Their rates are extremely reasonable, and if you have insurance even more so - though, double check that the person you're seeing can be covered. -Their office is inviting, comfortable and warm: There is coffee, water, and even some snacks. -They are great at what they do. We've had success and growth when working with the skilled therapists here. Ultimately, we highly recommend seeing them, even if only for a session or two - if you would see a doctor because something is "off" in your body, then why not see a therapist when something feels off in your mind or environment? Healthy people make the world a better place - let Thrive be your catalyst.

Used them based on a professional recommendation. Worst. Decision. Ever. Final report was delivered at the last moment, not allowing my lawyer or myself time to review it properly, contained multiple inaccuracies, along with a host of various typos and grammatical issues. The self-professed "interest" of the assessor was also not (in my opinion) demonstrated, given that they weren't able to reconcile obvious symptoms with the mental health issue they are so interested in. And of course, they insisted on payment up front before releasing said report... When asked to correct obvious and provable mistakes, I was told to take it up with the lawyers, so they aren't even willing to admit, let alone correct, their mistakes.

I agreed to attend marriage counselling at this office, under the referral of a government office guidance counsellor. The Red Ladder Associates seemed to be very professional and were very expensive. The person assigned to us appeared to have experience in this field and knowledge. She didn't ask us many questions to get an idea of the problem, instead went right into homework assignments. I was impressed with the attempt to improve communication. However, it went stale after 6 months of doing the same thing. Our counsellor didn't seem to know what to do, and offered us little guidance and no opinions. She even forgot to show up for one of our appointments.I was very disappointed in the drastic lack of effort. She suddenly just made the announcement, there was nothing she could do for us, and referred us to a lawyer. I was shocked, expecting some sort of an explanation, instead of a blank awkward silence Suddenly not so knowledable, nor professional nor qualified?It would have been nice to know where her train of thought was..WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.This may not be Red Ladder's expertise, but it would have been helpful if someone had mentioned this to me from the beginning.First impressions are not always as they appear!
