I got my braces over 5 years ago and the procedure took 2 years. The contract with Dr. Tsang at winnipeg orthodontic clinic was for 2 years and she was very nice and I felt like I was heard by her. But at the end of 2 years when my braces came off, I noticed that my upper front teeth didnt align with my lower teeth. which meant to close my moth completely, I had to skew my lower jaw to one side. This is so uncomfortable and gives me headaches(literal and figurative). I went back to Dr.Tsang 3 weeks after my braces came off, and she said they will have to charge me extra to put braces back on and correct the problem. It sounds ridiculous to me that after paying over 5000$ and 2 years of my time, yet they wanna charge me for their mistake. I hope this helps someone else.

Dr. Nick and his team have been absolutely amazing with both my kids! My son has Down Syndrome and his experience throughout his treatment has been great. He would look forward to every visit with Dr.Nick and his team. They have always made him feel special and did what they could to ensure each visit was a pleasant experience. I have to give a special shout out to Jenna who would ALWAYS took the time to ask my son how he was doing, about the Jets and what was new in his life. She genuinely cared, and it showed. She always made sure she looked after him at each visit. That consistanticy meant so much to him and keep things familiar to him. Dr.Nick has been outstanding in guiding us through the past 3 yrs which included jaw surgery. My son’s experience was better than I could ever have imagined. We never once felt like we were “just another patient” we felt like family from the first visit. I would 100% recommend Dr. Nick and his team. The culture in the office is evident...They love what they do, and it shows! Thanks Dr. Nick (and Jenna)

Yay! Not a client, but I got my retainer replaced here and it was one of the easiest experiences I've ever had at a clinic. My regular orthodontist said it would take over A MONTH to replace my retainer that I lost. Meanwhile here they were able to get me an appointment the next day, and I picked up my retainer the same day. At the exact same price as my regular orthodontist. Lovely decorations inside, nice coffee maker and the staff are welcoming. The Keith Urban sign made me laugh as well. Highly reccomend!

I am not the one who has the braces, my partner has them. I did have braces in my teens for almost three years, and I never had to have my brackets ripped off multiple times because they were mounted in the wrong position. Nor did they move my teeth back and forth several times with no seemingly plan. Constant trouble, I feel very sorry for her. Must be budget braces. Definitely not worth watching her suffer with wires gouging the inside of her cheeks, teeth moving way out of place everytime she gets an adjustment and has to go back for adjustments. Very far from my experience years ago!

I loved Rykiss Orthodontics! Their clientele service is top-notch! Their equipment Is undeniably great! They used a simulator on me to predict how my teeth would be straightened after 18 months of braces (or 24 months of braces). They take very good care of their clients and ensure you have the best experience from the orthodontists! In addition, they gave me family discount 'cause I am the 2nd member in the family to obtain braces. My only disappointment is that the braces are very pricey / very expensive because of the sophisticated technology that they are using...and I think the orthodontists are passing such fixed costs to clients... maybe, I wouldn't be charge such high costs had I looked around for other orthodontists...before signing the contract, look around first to estimate prices from other orthodontists before making huge financial commitments!

Like most of orthodontic businesses, everything here and every service is expensive. So if you're a student without insurance and will have to pay out of pocket like me, be careful when making decisions. I gotta tell you dude, if I decided to go through ALL the way with the treatment, it would bleed me dry. My situation isn't too bad, but its still disappointing that I'll have to put treatments off for a long time. Good customer service though. Everyone acts friendly!

Rykiss has been nothing but an absolute pleasure to deal with. Great staff, great assistants and great Orthodontists. I would do it all over again without hesitation. They offer a variety of options. Conventional, Invisalign, and 3M incognito (lingual) braces. That being said you may be surprised that they were among the least expensive clinics in Winnipeg.

When I first went to rykiss in gr11 they had one goal, to get my braces off before my gr 12 graduation. They fulfilled everything they set out to do. The staff is wonderful and greet me with a smile every time I walk in. Dr Mark kind of reminds me of Elton John. He is a great guy and will do whatever it takes to get a perfect smile on you. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about the Rykis orthodontics team. Both Dr. Mark and Jared Rykiss are extremely knowledgeable and are true experts in the profession. They can achieve results that other orthodontists are unable to. My first consult with another orthodontist told me that I would never get the result I wanted unless I pulled 4 teeth and wore braces for upwards of 2 years. I was told that braces was NOT an option for my situation. As a 26 year old, I did not want to draw more attention to the teeth I was already self-conscious about. Dr. Rykiss was not only able to achieve amazing results without pulling any teeth, he was also able to do it using Invisalign! I am so grateful for the results they were able to make happen for me. Even after a year, I come back with some minor questions and concerns, and it is addressed with the utmost care and attention. It’s a no brainer to go with Rykiss orthodontics!

My daughter has high anxiety and doesnt always do well when it comes to being in close proximity of people but we have been coming for her braces at the Pembina location since last October and she has had not one concern. The staff there are absolutely amazing, they are personable, bubbly, easy to talk to and when Mark is in the office everyone is always smiling just a little bit more. My two little ones who are currently 4.5 and 2.5 just adore him. I have been a patient of Dr. Campbell's for a long time. I had misaligned jaws and severely misaligned teeth when I first came in, and over a period of several years Dr Campbell made my teeth as straight as they could get, which ie very close to perfect. He was always very accommodating with me and continues to be good to me as I progress with retainers.

I got my braces done by John Campbell inside polo park and I was beyond unhappy with how my teeth turned out. I had my braces on just for a year and it was decided that my overbite was as good as it was going to get, and the braces need to come off. I cried for weeks, because my dad paid 5k on my teeth and they don’t even look nice, I started not to ever smile. after a few months I hated my teeth. I got braces again from a different orthodontist inside Winnipeg to correct my overbite and to form my teeth to give my face a nice smile with showing enough teeth, and no gums. with my new orthodontist I get so many compliments with how my teeth and smile look. I spoke to my orthodontist and briefly told him about my experience at the polo park orthodontist as John Campbell as my orthodontist and how unhappy I was with my teeth. The new orthodontist place I guess felt bad and they gave me $500 off my braces. and explained to me the entire process in detail and how they will custom my retainers just for me and they will keep my braces on until I am happy. I got ripped off by going to John Campbell for braces, they were rushed, not well done, the staff were not all nice sometimes, and I did not like how there was additional fees. (x-rays, etc.) Three people who i know who got braces from John Campbell are going to my new orthodontist for braces because John Campbell method left them unhappy also. In my opinion I would not recommend John Campbell as an orthodontist.

Terrible. Had to re-do my braces down in Toronto. Dr. Campbell and his team camouflaged my issue and as a teenager you trust that your doctor is going to provide you with a good service. Instead of treating me properly he disguised my orthodontic issues by straightening my teeth OUTWARDS which caused damaged to my teeth from grinding and also damaged my teeth and jaw bone. Thankfully I now live in Toronto and my orthodontist here has corrected my smaller upper jaw through surgery and is in the process of realigning my teeth. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORTHODONTIST.

Both my brother and I got braces done here as kids, and mine wasn't perfect, but I can't complain, since I was asking to get my braces off earlier than recommended. However, I can't say the same for my brother. My brother initially got braces because of concerns regarding his chin, and Dr. Laberge was confident that braces would fix his problem. We also asked if this chin problem of his might require surgery down the road, and she laughed it off, saying it will not be necessary. His braces came off a year or two ago, and the chin problem is still there. Our dentist is saying he needs to wear a night guard at night, and Dr. Laberge is saying a surgery might be necessary. As a person, she was great. She is a very friendly person, and positive. But her optimism was completely unfounded - despite her constantly telling us throughout his appointments that my brother's treatment is going great, at the end of the day, things have gotten worse, and we're out thousands of dollars plus future expenses. I also have a family friend that I referred to Dr Laberge, and they have similar comments regarding how she always seems to say everything is going great, although things are going worse than expected for the client. I hate to leave a bad review, since she does seem like a nice person, but at the end of the day, we would've preferred a good orthodontist.

As a newcomer to any town it's always nerve-racking to find a new orthodontist, dentist, doctor, what-have-you. Village Orthodontics were exceptionally friendly, professional, and well priced. I had a last second tooth issue and they were able to squeeze me in.The staff seem to jive so well its like one happy family, which makes it nice as a client. The waiting room, facilities, and coffee machine were all great too. I'll have to apologize to the doc, I had some coffee right before the appointment - whoops! All the staff seem extremely knowledgeable too, didnt hear once anyone say "ooo let me ask the doc" which is awesome. Will definitely be back!

After two daughters, and myself, having all put our mouths in the hands of Dr. McFarlane and his incredible team I want to earnestly encourage you to come for a consultation and see what modern, advanced, FRIENDLY, orthodontics is all about. The facility is immaculately kept up. The staff greet us genuinely and warmly by name. We're not just an appointment and a procedure, we truly are consulted with, we have discussions about the procedures, and are made to feel 100% comfortable about the plan, the process, and the outcome. I'm personally not overly concerned about dental aesthetics, but what I am concerned about is having a functional, healthy set of teeth and gums. My girls and myself are SO happy with how much radically improved our bite is, our speech is, and in my case, even my breathing is (after having a palatal expander make breathing through my nose possible after 41 years of not being able to). We smile proudly, we chew effectively, we have happier, healthier, mouths that we are confident will last a lifetime.

I needed to have two implants installed. I was reffered by my dentist to the Southwest Specialty Group. Dr. John Tsourounakis took care of my needs. Very professional, hardworking, and a genuine caregiver makes him stand out above all the other dentists (periodontists) I have dealt with. His work was very meticulous and he will not settle for less than excellent. I highly recommend to see him if you need a periodontist. The whole process I didn't feel a thing, just like he explained. Great job! A wealth and abundance of knowledge. I will be seeing you in the future for my next couple implants!

They dentist and dental hygienist were amazing with my child. Their receptionist left my health card on the front desk for everyone to see my sensitive information. Also an appointment showed up 30 minutes late and they got in before I did and I was on time for my appointment.

Very flexible with appointments and sudden adjustments if you break your wire or have trouble. Doctor knows a lot of his patients by name, and even though it's very busy, he has great attention to detail and the staff are just amazing bunch of ladies, great sense of humor and very helpful. I will only take my kids to see Dr. Biber because he is absolutely amazing. Before, my kids dreaded having to go to the dentist, now they actually look forward to it.
