We hired Kim as our planner/coordinator after 1 year of engagement… my husband and I are not planners and we had booked nothing at the time, and she was the first step towards our perfect wedding. I swear I contacted Kim every day for the first month, and she was always available to answer questions and provide vendor suggestions and ideas that fit our style and budget. Even in the “lull” between booking the major vendors and the few months leading up to the wedding, Kim always seemed to check-in just when I needed her to. Each meeting was productive, with her either answering my questions on the spot or getting back to me within the day with answers, ideas, or contacts for everything. I walked away each time feeling calmer and more confident about our choices for the big day. Looking back at everything, I wonder why I was stressed at all because Kim truly had a handle on everything. The day of was flawless, and I am so grateful that I had her there as I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I felt like my whole wedding day was truly stress free with Kim to set up, take down and make sure we were all on schedule. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day and I owe so much of that to Kim. Her vision came to life and was truly beyond what I could have imagined; it was breathtaking. When we first began to plan our wedding I wasn’t quite certain what direction we were going to go, but Aranza had a brilliant conception that pulled together all of the elements of our west coast wedding while still feeling fresh and yet familiar at the same time. No detail was missed, and yet each detail was just as important as the next; Aranza struck the perfect balance of setting the space. She flawlessly pours her heart into what she does with a professional, compassionate, energetic and ‘can-do’ flair. I would recommend that anyone considering working with Aranza and White Event Studio, to do so. Our guests still rave to this day, that ours was one of the most beautiful and memorable weddings they’d ever attended, and I believe we have Aranza to thank for that!

My wife and I worked with SunLovers Travel to plan our wedding in Mexico. We can't say enough praise about Kim. Destination wedding planning is overwhelmingly difficult to plan. Not only are there thousands of travel options available, everything is done at a distance and trusting your planner is critical. It wasn't until we arrived at our destination that we knew how well we had been taken care of. We heard so many horror stories of people picking resorts through pictures and arriving to something totally different. We found Tia just one week before our wedding. Yes, one week! In China we usually apply for a marriage license and we shall get the certificate right away but Canada is different. So we rent a church shortly after our application in London Drugs and Tia was the first one and the only one who promised she could get things done using all her resources she could, and she did it! She is creative and fast-response. She managed to get everything done and she is easy to communicate. It's not a big firm but her services is awesome especially for we young couples. She smiles a lot and she is kind enough to provide our leftover to homeless with our permission.

Little Piggy Catering provided an amazing Hawaiian themed BBQ for about 200 people at one of our events this past summer. Christabel was incredibly accommodating and professional during the booking process. We wanted the event to have a Hawaiian theme, but on a nonprofit budget, we couldn't afford a Pig Roast. Christabel created a menu that fit our budget and our theme. It was full of delicious creative takes on summer BBQ favourites, like a Yam and Potato Salad and Naturally Raised Porchetta Carvey served with Orange Cilantro Mojo. She also was ready with great alternatives for people with dietary restrictions. The onsite staff were friendly, punctual, and super accommodating. We were running a bit late in the program and they were flexible and kept the food piping hot. Thank-you Little Piggy for helping to make our event so memorable. People always laugh louder and smile bigger when their stomachs are happy!

This company has been completely unprofessional in their communications and efforts following a spring wedding ceremony. In a wedding service they organized, my veil was lost. When I asked for help, Melissa not only gave different stories about what happened to different people, but told me to not fuss so much over "a piece of cloth." She then refused to tell me the names of any third-party companies she hired for the ceremony, which I hoped to have so that I could follow up with them myself. When I pressed again about how important the veil is to me, she simply stopped communicating with me. Absolutely rude and immature.

I cannot praise Melissa enough for our pop-up style elopement wedding. She thought of absolutely every detail and truly captured our vision. Essentially all we had to do was show up!!! We got married at a special location in East Sooke Park with our parents and dearest friends. The ceremony was breathtaking and the champagne toast and cake was delicious and super fun. Colleen is the best - I wanted to send flowers to a co-worker that lost his wife on New Years day and every florist I contacted did not deliver in Cobble Hill - When i call Foxgloves Flowers - Colleen told me the same thing and i asked if she could try to send them with a courier - she called me back not even an hour later to tell me that she found a courier to deliver the flower arrangement the same day. Colleen did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding! The flowers looked incredible!! We asked her to provide flowers for our hair stylist and our cake and she coordinated seamlessly with both vendors as well as the staff at our wedding venue. Everyone was complimenting the flowers in my hair all day - they got as much attention as my dress did! Colleen handled the set up/take down so smoothly we barely even knew it was happening and she made our reception room look phenomenal. We gave very little direction and what Colleen put together for us was absolutely perfect! Better than I ever imagined!! She was very professional and always on time so the experience was totally stress free for us.
