This might be my favorite restaurant in Victoria. I take everyone who visits here. Amazing amazing amazing food and incredible prices for such quality and quantity. Try something new every time you go.you will never be disappointed. They also spice properly. Hot means hot. Mild is mild. Don't overdo it unless you're ready to enjoy real Thai spices. Can't wait to go back this week.

Very disappointing experience tonight. My stir fry came with broccoli. Broccoli wasn't listed as a veggie involved in this dish on the menu. I even told the server that I can't stand broccoli. The dish came out with broccoli. I asked that it be made again. A long time passed and it didn't happen. The server screwed up. Finally the dish was remade, but not really, the broccoli was simply pulled out and the dish returned to the table (lots of smaller broccoli bits still in there), I was then shocked to see I was still charged for it. Bad chef. Bad service.

I dined here with my son last night and they allowed me to bring in my own wine (with a corkage fee) as I did not like either of the house wines and buying a bottle in-house for 1 person was not in my means. My favorite Thai restaurant in Victoria. The chicken Pad Thai is delicious, with lots of flavor without being overly spicy. Generous potions and reasonably priced. Booths aren't super comfortable, but the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Service was great.

The chicken with basil leaves (forgot the name) was pretty good! Love the atmosphere and the service. The Tom Yam Goong was a bit of disappointment. The vinegar taste was too unnatural and lacked of Tom Yam taste. But otherwise, I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing food! Hands down one of the best Thai dishes I ever had. Visited for lunchtime and there were special offers that included a spring roll and soup (soup unfortunately wasn’t vegetarian and you couldn’t substitute it, that could be improved). But besides that delicious, very fresh and service was fast and friendly!

We ordered take out..... Three bowls of soup.... It was an extremely long wait and the soup was just broth ..shrimp... And a few mushrooms..... Good thing we added noodles otherwise it would have been very sparse.... Soup was just ok.

Great food! Got a pad thai and appetizers very tasty! Coconut soup was a little underwhelming, not a lot of volume and had to sift through chunks of spices to find my teeny tiny squid pieces. We also ordered a side dish of rice, but it never showed up. Tasty but room for improvement

Amazing thai food!! The take out process over the phone was quick and simple. The pad thai was delicious- lots of flavours and a very big portion. Added both chicken and beef, both were tasty and cooked well. The #2 appetizer (calamari) was also delicious. Will be returning!

It's in a good location, and the interior has been upscaled over the years. Better lighting and seating make you feel like you're in for an above average experience, but I always leave a little disappointed. Food is overly sauce dependant, and doesn't really let the flavours come through. A wok is a great place to meld flavours and ingredients, but I feel like the melding of flavours has been performed days/weeks in advance by pre-making everything. They need a chef who wants to perfect the dishes, rather than just crank them out in record time. It's also become more bar like, and the quirky staff from the past have been replaced with staff more fitting of a cactus club. Friendly people sure, just makes me question the managements intensions. Anyhow, I used to come here all the time, but over the years the food has either become worse, or I now have a better idea of what good Thai should taste like. Not sure. Anyhow, I wish there was a centrally located Thai restaurant with better food, and similar hours, because until there is, I'll keep getting roped into a mediocre meal when the cravings hit.

I’ve been going for years and I think I’ve tried everything on the menu so it’s hard to pick a favourite but their curry is incredible and pork is better than I’ve ever had anywhere. Quick serving for lunch combos. Very accommodating for gluten-free people like myself. Huge portions. Great specials. Friendly staff & management. Can’t say enough good things about Baan Thai.

Closest to the real thing I've found in Vic so far. If you want Thai food, but don't like how spicy it can be, try out their Pad Thai (ask for mild) or their Massaman curry (with some rice). It's delicious! Their green curry is the best I've had in a long time.

we used our snow day to walk over and try this place for the first time. Really impressive little joint. After a lunch at a neighboring greasy mess the day before, this place was rejuvenating. I had really good food for the low! Their lunch special, basically 13$ that'll get you a filling entree, a salad, a soup, a drink (go for the Thai tea of course) and good smiley service quick and tasty in an elegant setting. I wished I wasn't on a lunch break, but rather on a date night with my wife which I will be coming back for soon!

What a beautiful place set in a little cute area of town in Victoria. After purposefully getting lost in locating a little place for dinner, I was pleasantly greeted by a very professional and polite and welcoming young man. I was happy to hear him welcome me and when I asked for take out he politely handed me I menu and took my order. After I sat he professionally offered me some water and even poured it for me which shows the etiquette of serving tables as being very impressive. I was delighted and felt at home immediately as I waited for my food. Upon returning home and opening my food I was eager to taste the flavors for I had asked for as spicy as possible. As I enjoyed my food I realize that this was a wonderful meal that had rich flavors, spiced and the right amount of temperature in spice as well as temperature of food. I would recommend this place and would only caution that though it is a small establishment it is huge in flavor and good quality food. My compliments to the chef.

Great local eatery. Lunch menu prices are really reasonable, generous portions and include soup and a spring roll. My partner did a fried egg add-on for an additional cost and it was great on the rice dish. Thai iced tea was decent, a little bit on the sweet side but not bad. Their pad Thai sauce is a little on the sour side for me and their mild seems a bit spicy (I would personally get no spice in my future visits). Hence the 4 stars.

I've been a loyal patron of Little Thai since they first opened in Victoria. Their pad Thai was always one of my favorites in Vic, for both quality and value. Recently though, I find it's become way too saucy and 'ketchupy', not balanced flavour or texture like it used to be (good pad Thai shouldn't really be saucy at all). Not sure what changed behind the scenes, but it's really a shame. I'll still order from them when ordering multiple dishes, as they still offer a nice selection for family or group dining, but will be also looking at other options in Victoria from now on.

Always good, the Little Thai Place serves great curries and pad Thai. Reasonable prices match solid portions and you're generally due for leftovers. The green, red and yellow curries are absolutely fantastic. Delivery times are prompt and their customer service is friendly. One of these days I'll eat in, but for the moment, LTP is wonderful for delivery.

Best Thai fried rice in town in a lovely neighborhood. We usually visit them once or twice a week. Although, we ordered the chicken wings once and it was rather disappointing. For $12, you get 4 very dry overcooked wings. Not something I would expect for a restaurant. Overall, a place worth to check out if you love Thai food.

Take out was tasty but DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN WINGS. We ordered some curry and soup which was quite good. We also ordered the chicken wings for $12 and all we got was what is in the picture. 9 pieces, super small . Actually the were split wings so that only works out to 4.5 small wings. They had really no special flavour at all. They were deep fried which is fine, but any flavour that they had before going into the frier was totally lost. Highly recommended not getting the wings.

I had dinner with two friends on Oct. 27 at Thai Lemongrass. I have been there a few times, and have generally been satisfied. I ordered the 'Vegetable Pad Thai' from the 'Vegetarian' section, and after my first bite I noticed it had a fishy taste. I let the waitress know and she was apologetic, saying she should have asked if I wanted fish sauce or not. My meal was replaced, and I appreciated that. However, a restaurant cannot label a meal as 'vegetarian' when including fish sauce in it - that's misleading and does not respect dietary choices and/or restrictions. I contacted the restaurant via e-mail on Oct. 31 and Nov. 14, and have received no answer. They simply need to remove the item from the vegetarian section or remove the fish sauce.

A great thai restaurant in cadboro bay village, with a cozy vibe. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is good but be prepared to wait if you head here for dinner, especially on weekends. It is worth the wait though! The only downside is that the place closes relatively early.

I was visiting for the first time to this broadmead location as I heard it was pretty good. I was here for their lunch special and it was great and reasonable. I got the pad thai and with the lunch specials you get a free spring roll and soup and they tasted great! The portions are big too! I tried to finish one by myself but was struggling to finish it and brought some of it to go. They have some dessert including gelato which is also quite reasonable. In fact, their gelato is cheaper than other areas that sell gelato on it's own. I highly recommend!

Quick service, casual environment, tasty Thai food, and friendly staff. Usually food comes quick, too. If you have only an hour, doesn't want to eat at "fast food type" restaurants, and the restaurant does not look overly swamped in there, this is the place to go. Normally I can be in and out of there within an hour to an hour and a half depending on the time of the day.

We love this place. Keep trying other places but always seem to come back. The restaurant is clean and bright. The people are very friendly and extremely helpful with the menu. This is good because there are so many dishes to choose from. We have tryed many different foods here but i really like the one that comes with almonds. I find the prices good and you get lots of food. I definitely will keep coming back.

I’ve dined at this location every week for the better part of a decade. If you are looking for a new go to place, look no further. LTP has a great menu and is priced fairly. Pink is the friendliest server I have ever met. My favourite dishes are the red curry, ribeye pho and pad Thai. I typically start every meal with rice and peanut sauce to whet the appetite

My wife and I ordered some of their 'Pho' and it was a little disappointing..... I had what was described as the spicy meatball pho.... however, the meal was bland and the meatballs were smooth processed tasteless meat.... 😕 Unfortunately..... not on our recommended list.

Good food . Excellent service. Spaces are slightly cramped. Spring rolls were greasy but the fried rice was great. The vegetarian panang curry came with great taste and lots of tofu. It’s slightly disappointing that the curries don’t come with rice.

Really good restaurant and really tasty food! U was really surprised with the quality of every single dish that we ordered. The service is very young but very attentive. Two things I didn't like: 1 when you order pop it not made clear to you that ia bottomless from the beginning, and 2 the amount of food for the Curry dishes is not too generous. For the price paid I was expecting a bit more of food. Still a very recommended place!

This is our go to Thai spot in this town. It has all the simple standard tasty Thai options that you would expect. Good spot for families and kids. Only challenge would be that many of the dishes are quite a bit sweeter than our taste. Next time we go I’m going to ask if they can make them a little less sweet.

Sidney BC is blessed with two exceptionally good Thai restaurants. Picking which is best is tough and will require further investigations. It was very busy when we arrived but the staff were quick to acknowledge our presence and communicated the slowdown well. With beer in hand we watched a cornucopia of robust color and aromas pass by our table as the orders came up. It was well worth the wait when ours arrived. Perfectly cooked with extra heat as requested. 3 different dishes with 3 different sauces: beef with red chilis, chicken with green and prawns with yellow. Each one with it's own unique characteristics and made with the freshest of ingredients. Best way to experience Thai is in a group of 4 to 6. Each person ordering a dish. Get some steamed Jasmine rice on the side and be prepared to enjoy a southeast Asian culinary experience.

Delicious! Fast service and amazing food! Great selection and huge portions! The flavours are wonderful. The atmosphere is super casual so it's not that great for a dinner date. Each table has your own personal "buzzer" to call a waitress over at your convenience, which I think is super cool and efficient! Worth a try! The ginger beef, and curries are my favourite, though I'm still looking forward to exploring their menu!

Excellent Pad Thai if you get it traditionally made with tamarind and not tomato. Sadly, the menu changed and is basically a western Chinese food restaurant with a few Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Much better when it was little Thai place and one could get the authentic Thai dishes

I'd give this place a negative if I could. My family went here for dinner after a day of hiking. Huge mistake! Food was miserable. Their salt and pepper seafood was too spicy. Service took more than 30 minutes. We were later told that their usual cook was off. Why even open for business and feed customers with very sub par food. STAY AWAY from this place.

Great place to get some quick Asian fast food. They have many veg/vegan options. A small advise though, please order mild spicy, their medium was too spicy me and I am used spicy curries. They also have a big table if you are a bigger group.

Flavorful and fresh, something for everyone, and ability to customize to varying levels of spice. Gal behind the counter was delightful, even brought our dog a bowl of water out front and was sweet to my kids. Only improvement I would recommend would be to go a tough lighter on the sauce. Maybe personal preference, but 5 of us took our noodles to go and on the bottom 1/4 of each box was way too much sauce. It was still great flavor, I'd just ask for lighter sauce next time.

I used to enjoy eating here. But, recently I have found that the amount of protein put in the dishes that I order has become almost non-existent, and the amount of bean sprouts has gone up a lot. When I go to a restaurant and order a dish with a combination of meats and pay extra for it, I expect there to be a significant difference in the amount of meat that I find in my dish. I have found the opposite to be true. No matter how I order I am getting less than I used to. I am most disappointed.

Noodle box is a fantastic place to go when you want some Asian inspired cuisine. They have an amazing pad Thai and their ginger beef is delicious. They will also customize dishes to suit the fussy eater, like myself. It's got a homey rustic feel to it but doesn't feel old fashioned at all.

Food is excellent as always, but you need to clear something up. If people call for pick up and see their food is ready, can you please do the "zipper merge" and let them pay for it and get out please? Stood for 5 minutes at the "pick up here" corner and watched my food get cold - could clearly see a box with my name on it while a lady was asking what are the ingredients in a spicy peanut box :-/ All I wanted to do is to tap my card and the cashier asked me to go in line behind 6 people who took at least 3 minutes each to order, decide on the ingredients and pay :(

They have good food and fast service. I was happy with them because they were also very accommodating for my allergy and dealt with it quickly. The staff were friendly even though they were busy. You get a lot of food for what you pay for and they have good vegetarian options. I will be going here again soon.

Not really a cozy place. It's pretty loud and noisy inside due to the kitchen being right in the dining area. The music is loud, making it even harder to carry on a conversation without having to yell. It's fairly pricey for the servings you get. $4.50 for meat in your dish, and if you want extra because the regular amount is pretty slim, it's another $4.50. That's a $9.50teriyaki bowl plus another $9 for meat. I find that pretty expensive. The service on the other hand was great, no complaints there. And the food is pretty decent as well. 3/5 stats because I enjoy a quiet cozy place to go to with friends, but this isn't it.

Top-Class food box!!! ---both quantity and quality. If you're not too hungry, you can ask for a Split and the portions are sufficient. Food is absolutely tasty and fresh! It's great for vegetarians and vegans. We tried the Coconut Cashew Pesto Chow Mein, the Chinese style fried rice, and the Cambodian jungle curry box---all dishes are repeat worthy. The place is also cool, good music, and a casual dining experience. Two Thumbs Up!!! The Uptown Mall folks also provided friendly customer service!

Yesterday I ordered a Singapore cashew curry box (with prawns) to take out. To my surprise, when I got home and emptied the contents in a bowl so I can share it with my kid there were 3 yes 3 prawns in a meal that I paid $16:30 for. Not only that, the meal was dry and missing the lime wedges . As someone who goes there regularly. I can safely say that yesterday's incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. Very very disappointed

How in the hell have I not left a review for AYO until now?!?! No matter what I've had, from the green Curry, to the Beef Rendang, it's always been top notch. Bana is friendly, and puts a tonne of love and care into everything he makes. My recommendation would be for his Chicken Satay.

The food is spicy and good. The tiny kiosk is almost lost beside The Drake in Market Square. It takes a while to prepare and you have to take your food downstairs to sit down.

Very good food. I had the beef curry on the chef's recommendation. It had a rice with coconut and green curry that was amazing, something fried like a potato chip, cucumber carrot salad, and a spicy sauce. Flavor was 10/10. Beef was a little dry and little tough, but delicious.
