FIND ANOTHER LAWYER TO REPRESENT YOU. I would give negative star if possible. Absolutely the worst office to deal with. Sunny should not be doing this as a profession. He does pay attention to detail. Doesn’t reply. With our current deal he has fumbled the contacts every step of the way, causing great stress on all parties as he has pushed everything to the deadlines. He never reads his updates. He doesn’t know his deadlines even though he was told before hired and it’s clear in the contract he doesn’t read. He leaves office during mid negotiations, having all parties waiting to finish real estate deal, by 4pm( & no secretary). It has been like a practical joke dealing with him. We wish we had never called their office. I would highly recommend calling someone else if you A) want your contracts done correctly B) want a responsive lawyer to represent you C) want things done properly, legally and responsibly. He should not charge for his services, as he is incompetent in every way. Maybe hes retired as has no secretary and leaves office by 4pm in the middle of deal between law offices with deadlines. How he got hired to a firm is beyond me. STAY AWAY AND FIND ANOTHER PERSON/FIRM TO HIRE!!

I approached this firm with high expectations around ethics, a honest timeline projection, and mutually respectful treatment, and was disappointed enough on these points to switch to another firm. If you have recently suffered a bad zero-fault accident and are in a vulnerable place you may want to avoid these folks. If you just want sound legal help to get your accident resolved fairly, stay in control of your case, and move on to better health ASAP, maybe keep looking...When I did that I finally got what I needed. Over the past ten years, or so, my family and me have found the need to hire a lawyer for two separate, but connected, family issues. Going through these types of issues, I'm sure many people reading this know, are tough. They're stressful for everyone involved, and often take a great deal of time and energy. What helped my family both times, was dealing with the fine people at Hutchison Oss-Cech Marlatt. The staff there did an incredible job of helping us navigate the murky, and complicated waters of family law. However, I think our lawyer, John Nelson, will forever be the one who sticks out most. Talking with John, I always got the sense he understood what we were going through. He didn't try and sympathize; he empathized. He listened when we had to rant; he answered questions when we had them. He was realistic and honest at all times during his interactions with us. John told us right off the start that he couldn't guarantee any specific outcome for our case. All he could guarantee, was that he was going to work hard, in order to get my family the justice it deserved. And he did just that. If you are looking for a lawyer, please go see Kyle Hamilton at Cook Roberts. I have had bad experiences in the past with lawyers not returning calls, responding to emails, overbilling, crappy advocacy etc. Come to think of it, I am not sure I have ever had a lawyer that was 'worth it'. Mr. Hamilton has renewed my faith in lawyers, and greatly exceeded my expectations. He responds promptly to what are likely annoying requests, even in the evenings, weekends and when on holiday with his family. His rate is more than reasonable, and I would dare say he is not charging enough for the level of service he provides. We had the unfortunate problem with someone that didn't pay their bill, and initiated proceedings as self-represented litigants. Mr. Hamilton was more than willing to provide unbundled legal services, and guide us through the complexity of the Supreme Court of BC. When we retained him directly to perform our Examinations, he grasped the essence of our messy file in no time flat, and knocked those examinations out of the park. A truly talented lawyer. When we had trouble paying our bill, Mr. Hamilton and Cook Roberts graciously went out of their way to make arrangements that worked for us - and continued to provide service! What a SCAM OPERATION here. I spent approximately 10 years waiting for a legal service and spent over $10,000 CAD and they" tossed me overboard at the last minute". Furthermore the condescending secretary /receptionist Miss Sara sent my documents overseas to me the cheapest possible way she could have sent them, so as a result I never received my documents/files. I do not recommend this law firm to anyone. Stay clear of this place, Oh yes of coarse this accurate review is written "Without Prejudice"

I am regretful I feel the need to review Mr Pearson in a negative way, as he has been a long time lawyer and friend of my family. However, I used his service to help me with a charge I was accused and aquitted from. I instructed him to make sure I was was not guilty and he did a great job in court, as usual. When court was over and I paid the invoice I was informed by a police officer that this crime was still showing guilty on my record (a serious offense). When MTP Law was made aware they said I'd have to pay more money for them to get the charge dropped of my court files. I ask what is the point of paying a lawyer when your inncocent if he let's the charges stay on your court files and cause life long problems. I feel he knew well ahead this would happen and has since done nothing to help. I have recently hired another firm to fix their mistakes. I would recommend getting agreements in writing clear as day before hiring this firm. I have had serious issues regarding this matter and have had enough wondering why he did this. I feel this should be heard by everyone thinking of hiring MTP Law. I hope he rectifies the situation and I will be able to recommend him as the best as I have done for years.
