Went there for Wednesday wing night. Wings were quite good and 39 cents each. Good flavors to choose from and wings were of good quality. It was a busy night but service was still pretty good. They have drink specials too on wing night and lots of TVs to watch sports.

Party room was as cold as a meat locker. Absolutely no heat. Waitress was terse. A mandatory 15% gratuity is applied in addition to taxes. Strong chlorine odor in party room . Not your choice for enjoyable pub dining. Don't walk..run from this place.

Would not go back. The prices were way out of line with the quality of food. My burger was a dripping greasy mess. Shoe string fries were a bitter disappointment compared to the larger format fries they used to offer. Ordered gravy..but none available?? Seriously?? One of the easiest things to make in back of house..wow! Had to settle for a demi glace which is not meant for fries.. even out of a can would have been better than none at all. My wife did enjoy her small portioned chicken breast.. but at $ 28 for the portion size ..found it grossly overpriced . Waited approximately 45 minutes for our meal and the restaurant was not at all busy at 8pm. Foot note ; was offered bread ..and 15.minutes later it arrived.

I cannot say enough good about The Kelowna Keg and its staff. We were holding a small memorial for my dad on a Saturday evening, and not only did they accommodate 30 of us when they don't normally take reservations that large at that time, they provided amazing service. No one had to wait for their food--it all somehow came out at the same time--and when two of our steaks were overcooked, they whisked them away without a moment's hesitation, and had fresh ones back remarkably fast. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Crispy Fried Cauliflower, Baked Brie, and Prime Rib w/ Oscar. All in all, I would give them six stars if that were an option.

Our appetizers arrived before the wine we ordered. One steak was cooked medium well instead of medium rare. They did not have the local wine we ordered, and the only comparable one was $12.00 more. Too bad, so sad. The waiter was pleasant, but for what you pay these days at the Keg details should be better managed.

I had an amazing experience at the kelowna keg! It was very busy on a Saturday evening so I suggest making a reservation before hand. We had an hour or so wait, sat at the bar and had some drinks. I got a ribeye which was overcooked, the staff and the cook were very good about it and actually comped the entire dish. There were a couple reasons to celebrate so we got two desserts for free. It was a incredible night, and a great experience.

The steak was amazing - I mean has anyone ever had a bad steak there? The service was ok... the only reason I say that is, I had 2 servers on and off throughout the night. It defintely wasn't consistent nor was it timely. I then had another person bring me my food but quickly realize I had not been given a steak knife or even salt and pepper at my table. Then the veggies on the side were very scarce. I was given a pile of sauteed mushrooms and 2 thin slices of red pepper.... so that was very disappointing. Not the meal I expected for the price I paid, but I can't give it lower than a 3 because the steak alone carries the rating.

A nice quiet place to enjoy the views of Shannon Lake and watch golfers tee off. My favourite golf course restaurant by far. Prime rib Sunday was good and enjoyed happy hour with a decent selection of beer and wine before that. Nachos were too big portion for two that we couldn't finish. Good to share as a simple snack if with a group. If you are driving by or live in the area, you definitely need to check this place out!

Nice experience. Enjoyed the rustic decor. The beef brisket sandwich was excellent. Liked the fries. My friend wasn't that keen on the chicken wrap though. Was okay but not what she expected as the tortilla was a bit thick. Over all a good lunch and very good staff.

On impulse, we stopped in here for supper since it's close to the office. I haven't been in a Montana's for years. We ordered the ribs which were on special, and shared them. It was more than enough for both of us, and they were totally delicious. The wait staff was excellent, and the atmosphere okay. Nothing really special, but nothing disturbing either. Typical chain restaurant that does what it does, well.

Everything was really great when we came in. Little bit of a time to get a drink but the (singular) bar back was quite busy so I understood. Jeremy back there is great, very customer forward. Food was good( not great) beer was a little flat. Nice stop for a quick drink!

Fun, relaxed atmosphere. Very fun birthday 'scene' involving their moose antlers... the kids loved clapping for multiple birthdays near our table. The food was delicious - all you can eat ribs for my husband and the chicken tacos for me. The kids pizza looked like a frozen one... obviously my toddlers ate it, but for $9 I found it less than ideal.

Was recommended this place by a cab driver and warned that it's very popular. He was not kidding, we didn't have a reservation so headed there a few minutes before opening and there was already a long line. Menu changes frequently and highlights local ingredients. Everything we ate was both delicious and beautifully presented. Prices are on the high end but it was worth it. This would be a great place for special occasions like an anniversary.

They've been in business for 50 years and it's pretty obvious why they've lasted so long. The attention to detail is great and you can see it in the staff that they hire as well. I don't know if they serve this slip regularly or if they can out for the ' special' ?? Spaghetti WAY over cooked. A soggy mess. Sauce has some weird after taste...not good. 4 of us ordered, 4 of us threw it in the Garbage. Will NEVER eat there again.

I was so pleasantly surprised by all of the appetizers and mains our table of 4 had. Authentic traditional French dishes done well and with a lovely selection of old world wines (so hard to come by in the area since most restaurants commit to local winery options from the Okanagan). The only thing that holds me back from 5 stars was desert. The sorbet stuffed profiteroles were disappointing. They weren’t the moist tender center I’m used too and frankly sorbet just doesn’t cut it, a creamy center of pastry cream is simply a lot better.

My Girlfriend andI were both impressed. Bouchons Bistro was an amazing experience from the start. The manager offered us coat check, which was great considering it is currently winter (big coats). Our server knew the menu inside and out, very helpful. Each staff member we interacted with was professional, and personable. The food was beyond expectations, which were already high to begin with. The prices were fair, and the portions were more than one could ask for. The desert finished the night perfectly. We have already booked our next reservation. I'd highly recommend trying Bouchons Bistro for your next date night.

This is my favorite restaurant in Kelowna. The food is great, but the service is outstanding! A group of 4 of us went on Saturday night to celebrate my mom's birthday. Our server (whose name I didn't get, but who looks like Jimmy Kimmel) was the bomb! He was fun and funny but with the perfect level of attentiveness. And the hug for my mom and me at the end was a nice touch... Also a big shout out to the bartender (Nick?) who created some fabulous drinks for us too. Bouchons never disappoints and we'll be back soon!

It's a small an cozy place to be social with some close friends. My guest and I were happy to enjoy the vegan options on the menu. There were not many, but they were delicious! And even though I was feeling questionable about what to eat, I really enjoyed my choice... which was... I can't remember. Check the pictures attached. My date enjoyed the vegan gluten free burger. I had a bite. It tasted very good, however I would say the burger was not trying to imitate. Service was helpful and checked on us more than usual. It seemed to have a lot of servers working for the small restaurant. The Central Restaurant is just small part of a sports facility so it's a social place, could be good for party's.

What an incredible little establishment on the outskirts of downtown Kelowna. Right from our first visit 5 months ago, the staff did an incredible job of taking the time to get to know us and guide us through their menu. Now, my partner and I make Central part of our weekly routine. The owners clearly have a huge passion for what they do, as they can always be seen engaging with their guests and helping out their staff. Bella, one of the managers usually working when we are their, greets us by first name and always takes the time to catch up with us on the week. Every server we've had each has their own unique personality, which adds to the charm. Everyone has been great. Food is top notch (must try the Poke Bowl or one of their many burgers), cocktails are great. Always a pleasure! The fact that the restaurant is always nearly full is a clear indicator of how well this establishment is doing!

This place is good! I over all have had no negative experiences every visit either then they ran out of root beer last time! No sweat! My favourite choice is the boy blue burger! The blue cheese suits the build of the burger very well. If you’re bored and downtown take a walk to central it’s worth it!

Consistently good place to eat, and to take friends. We love Earls, especially here in Kelowna. The restaurant is in a premium location and getting a window table is groovy. The only downside to Earls is the level of noise in the restaurant makes actually visiting with our table companions almost impossible. The lovely patio upstairs is better, and if it's a nice day in Kelowna, a spectacular place to have brunch on Sunday.

The chicken wings are excellent. Tender, flavorful. We had sweet chili and lemon pepper. Nanaimo cheesecake; presentation excellent, cheesecake medium dense as cheesecake should be. Light on the Nanaimo. Seasonal Tin Whistle Wastwd Grape (wine and beer mix) was flavorful and delicious, nice combo. Enjoyed the experience.

Food tasted like it was bought in a grocery store and reheated via package instructions. Thankfully you can't really mess up french fries with a deep fryer. Went to Rusty's for dinner and paint nite for the first time. The waitress was attentive and very friendly, I found the atmosphere to be welcoming. I ordered a burger and onion rings, and hands down it was the best burger I have ever had. I even got my friends to try it. We will be returning the next time we go out for burgers.

Food was not great but the service was horrendous. We waited numerous times for service and in 3 of those occasions, the wait was over 15 minutes for the server to come by, all the while, our glasses remained empty. The place wasn’t even all that busy. Worst service I’ve experienced in many years. I definitely won’t be back.

We had a lovely brunch. The food was plentiful and had great variety on their breakfast special - especially the waffles and fruit. The mimosas were cold and delicious. Downtown location close to where we needed to be. Service and seating are great. I will try this place out for dinner next time. I do recommend the brunch on the weekend.

Fsh is a nice restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff were quite friendly. I went in for Brunch and was a little disappointed by the limited selection. It is Benny heavy. I don't mind them but it's not usually my go to. Another concern I had was that the croissant base was not the flaky pastry one would expect. It was hard. It was difficult to cut through with a knife, let alone chew. It was disappointing to say the least. Their potatoes were delightful though. I am sure there are many other options on the menu that would have been a better option. But as for Brunch, I will likely not return.

Some of the best happy hour drink specials in town. My only complaint would be that there are no happy hour food specials and most of the items on the menu are $15+. There's been a couple times where I've seen people order a side of fries just to have something to munch on. It would be amazing if they could offer something to eat that's a bit more affordable during those times. The calamari was good but the portion sizes are quite small for what you pay. The servers are always friendly and attentive which is awesome.

Decent beverage selection. It's more like what you would find on a hip Vancouver street like 12th or Commercial Drive... Something community-oriented instead of tourist-oriented. It's quite refreshing for Kelowna.

This place is always buzzing. The big screens make it a sports hub, but they don’t stop you from having a lovely dinner off in the corner. The patio is nice even in the winter (the coffee table fireplace is gorgeous). I like the menu, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Great place for a date or a girls’ night out.

They have yet to disappoint. Amazing service and mouth watering food. I've been multiple times whether it was a girl's night out, a nice dinner with guests from out of town or a last minute date with my boyfriend and have had a great experience every time. The winter 2/$20 pizzas on Monday nights is an amazing deal and perfect for date night. Cannot recommend enough.

My wife and I both each had the 3 course meal dinner tonight for $38. Both our dinners were delicious and all 3 courses were a generous size. Seating was very comfortable with soft pillows in our corner booth. Service was also very friendly and excellent!

I feel that Basil and Mint is a perfect combination of classy and comfort. It's a very versatile environment. It can be great for and intimate dinner or cocktails and appetizers. This review is a few months late but, it is well deserved. I do not even know where to begin but, maybe I'll start with I was getting married. My husband and I booked basil and mint for our reception dinner. Doing a small wedding at a location that we've never been to was risky however, from the start of the whole process, Ken the owner was more than amazing. Ken was so kind, helpful, efficient and considerate of our stresses. We are from Edmonton and we had no time to visit the location but, he made sure we were taken care of from day one. He was open to suggestions, open to decorators coming into his facility and was so welcoming to all of our guests. The restaurant space is beautiful in itself and with the additions, I was so impressed. The service was beyond amazing- every guest was so impressed with the people at Basil & Mint. All of our needs were taken care of all night and the best part? The food. Every single meal our guests picked for themselves was phenomenal. Our wedding guests said it was the best food they've had at any wedding. I can go on and on but, I think I've made my point. If you ever need a reception venue for your wedding/event, please choose Basil and Mint, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Ken & staff for the amazing night, I can't stop talking about it.

It was okay, I had take out pad Thai and my partner had the hot and spicy soup. Also had the spring rolls. It was pretty good, the pad Thai looked a bit orange/red. Not sure why. But over all I enjoyed it, minus the fact they forgot my pops I ordered. Bonus is free delivery within 10km but I dd My get a receipt so I’m not sure if they actually honoured that. Probably won’t order from there again. Delivery was quick and they called when they were outside.

I used to love this place because it gave good portions for the price you pay. I was a little disappointed when I ate there recently and found that they gave me less food (for the same price) and spread it around the plate to make it look like there was more food. In addition, the dish I had included bean sprouts which they had replaced with shredded white cabbage. The flavour was still great though!

I had lunch with three colleagues and they all said their foods were pretty good. I ordered the lettuce wrap which was good but a little salty. The server was nice and service was fast given there were quite busy at lunch time. We were seated in the lounge area of the restaurant. It is quite dark in there but very comfortable with semi circular booths affording privacy for talking. Had the veggie burger made from brown rice, mushrooms and nuts. Topped with sprouts and onions and avocados. Delicious and filling. Very good value for $16. Service was very attentive.

This is my first time reviewing a restaurant experience! My friend and I were dining at JOEY on Monday, and although the restaurant was quiet we had the most amazing time. We were welcomed by a great team and the food was awesome, lots of vegetarian options! Our server, Beth, was fantastic. Always love the food at Joey. Never had a bad experience until the last time. Our server was very polite and engaging, but also very absentminded. I won't go into detail because I could tell she was trying her best. We usually sit lounge or patio, and this was our first time in the dining room, so I'm sure it was just an off day for the server. Beautiful design inside, incredible vibe in here, and good food and presentation. The bar is incredible as well. Professional serving staff, good service. Bit on the pricey side and in a weirdly busy spot at the junction of two highways, but otherwise it’s a great go-to. Big parking lot makes up for the street traffic.

Had to wait a bit as they were clearly understaffed. To the credit of the staff, the cook came out and seated us. The food was fantastic and the waitress did a great job. Clearly the management and employee retention needs some work but the staff and food were excellent.

We've previously been here and had an amazing experience, friendly staff and super tasty food. Recommend this to out of town friends often. However this last time we went, the server wasn't very knowledgeable about items on the menu (she seemed new), lack of staffing support this particular shift, and the food + fries seemed overly greasy... I'd give it another go, on a different day, was just really disappointed with the quality that day.

Extremely disappointing. Waited fifteen minutes to be greeted by our server. Working in the restaurant industry I can appreciate when a server is busy, but I can also notice when they don't use their time efficently. Pamela, our waitress, was slow through the entire experience, sometimes chatting in the back to a coworker. Waited 15 minutes after getting coffee to order, then 35+ minutes for breakfast to arrive. One of our group waited 30 minutes for a straw for her drink. Finally, we asked for our bills and after 20+ more minutes we left cash on the table. Will not be back.
