Went to Vital Aire and was told I need a machine for about $2500 +++ I can buy same machine on line $850.00 all in Canadian. They sent the referral back to my doctor marked unable to contact patient. They contacted me many times and I told them I was not buying their product.

Got a CPAP machine from here over a month ago, however pressure was not set properly (although they told me it would be). So far I have called them 3 times to get it adjusted, each time they assure me they will call me the next day about it. Still heard nothing, meanwhile my sleep is completely destroyed and I am risking dying during my sleep if I take certain medications or alcohol due to Vital Aire not adjusting my machine properly. Paid over $7000 for a non working product from a company that has refused my calls for over a month.

I moved from the south coast with a CPAP machine already in hand from a different service provider. Since my machine was getting older and nearing the end of its life span, I started to check out replacement companies to start dealing with in the Okanagan. My self living in the south okanagan, there really isnt many to pick from. So I had tried a company in Penticton ( a name i won't mention) and considering that I am a client of Veterans Affairs Canada and they pay for and monitor my compliance with the machine. O didnt think it would be hard to get a new service provider. I was surprisingly disappointed at the reception I got having come from the south coast. So with considerable searching outside my area I seen that Vital Aire was also a supplier and servicer of CPAP machines. I contacted them and sure enough they were welcoming, accommodating and willing to take on a new client. I got my appt at their Penticton office and was greeted openly by a very professional and understandable young lady She downloaded my machine took all the info required to submit to Veteran Affairs and and a short time later I was contacted to come in and pick up my new machine which was explained to me how it works and what settings I can change if need be. Over all, best experience to date and will highly recommend Vital Aire to anyone who wishes to treated well and looked after with respect. Job well done ladies.

Wow. Just wow. I arrived for my previously scheduled interview for an insomnia study. From the moment I walked in I was met with instant animosity from the girl at the front desk. When I tried to explain why I was there she became ruder and ruder. She even told me to calm down when I tried to show her the email. I have never been treated so badly for no reason. Her behavior was so upsetting it led me to profanity and insults. I was very excited to meet with the people here. I was really hoping they would be able to help out. Now I understand why the reviews are so bad. You people should be disappointed in your staffing choices. Update: The response from the owner makes it seem like I walked in a was instantly upset. I want to make it clear that it was the way I was treated that led me to swear. I would never treat anyone any other way than the way I am treated. If there was confusion about my appointment it should have been dealt with professionally. Instead I was made to feel small and attacked. I asked several times why the secretary was speaking to me the way she was. It was when I decided it was not worth my time when I turned around and swore on the way out the door. The owner says I am not welcome back. Why would I want to have anything to do with such a poorly organized operation? Good luck to anyone else who tries to deal with these unprofessional people in the future. Instead of insulting me further, it may have been better to suggest that you, your secretary and myself could sit down and figure out what went wrong. No one makes any effort to actually fix things these days.

I can't begin to express my gratitude. My wife and I have slept in separate bedrooms for the last 3 years and since being seen at the sleep clinic, we now share our bed again and could not be happier. I now use a CPAP machine every night, but hey, it's better than your wife kicking you out of bed at 2am. Thanks again for everything.

Absolutely awful, I would never recommend this sleep clinic to anyone. Staff are rude and inconsiderate. I had surgery and wasn't able to make it to my sleep study one weekend. I left a message on the machine (that they do not check) stating that I wouldn't be able to make it. When it came time for the appointment they called me and were very rude asking me if I was downstairs, when I said no they hung up on me! The appointment was then re booked. I did forget about the appointment the second time (who hasn't forgotten an appointment in their lifetime) I left them a message and apologized. Without even calling me and letting me know they sent a message to my Dr stating "I will leave it up to you to monitor the patient and decide at some point the patient should be reported to the superintendent of motor vehicles if the condition remains untreated". The only reason the condition would remain untreated is because they won't treat me! When I called they explained to me how disrespectful I was and make me feel like I was the worst person in the word for forgetting about an appointment. Update: In response to the clinic I wrote a google review to warn others to not use this clinic. I highly doubt talking to anyone in person would help as I had called the clinic twice about the situation before writing my review. Update: I was able to get into the sleep clinic at the hospital, they were amazing. Highly recommend you ask your Dr to send you there.

Absolutely appalling service. I showed up for my appointment and the lady at the front desk said I was not in the system and would need to rebook. Offered zero solutions to help me see a doctor that day and was extremely rude to me. I have never received such terrible service from anyone in my 12 years of living in Kelowna. I was so appalled by the way she treated me that I requested for a manager or the owner to call me so I could express my frustrations. She would not commit as to when this would happen and it never happened. Clearly the owners of this establishment do not care about their customers at all. I fist signed up to see a doctor here for my medical condition around 3 months ago and never, ever got to see a doctor. Clearly they do not think that sleep conditions are serious health issues at all. If this is how they treat their clients they are trying to establish relationships with how would they treat a client with a genuine concern over a product, a price or a service received. Very concerning. Would not recommend anyone use this clinic at all, even if you desperately need help with a sleep condition.

My husband had a great experience here. We saw the doctor, he went for his sleep study and within a couple weeks we had a machine for him. The ladies at the front were awesome with helping with our insurance and the tech has been really helpful in answering our questions and showing him how the machine works. Thank you Kelowna Sleep Clinic we are finally both getting a good nights sleep! Edit: This did start as a 5 star review and I still believe the front ladies and the doctor deserve 5 stars however we had an issue with a part we needed replaced and instead of trying to help us understand the policy the lab tech told us to find another clinic. I will absolutely not recommend Kelowna Sleep Clinic. I feel they are only interested in getting your money and after that they do not care. Please avoid and try another clinic.

For a sleep clinic, it was thee best set up ever! The staff is so friendly & helpful. The doctors are fantastic as well. I never felt rushed or pressured about anything. Only thing I would recommend might be ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. And don't worry about the wires they hook up to you before you go to sleep. They're taped on well. You can toss & turn in your sleep to a point & they won't come off. Very clean & up-to-date facility. Would highly recommend this clinic.

I had to spend a night here and it felt like being in a very nice hotel. I found the workers and doctors to be super nice. My 2 follow up visits were very pleasant. Unfortunately for me I have to use a machine to breathe now but it's made a huge difference in my life for the better.

After 2 years of no success looking for help with my poor sleep quality, Alena helped me find habits I have that are disrupting my sleep, as well as referring me to a sleep apnea test where I found out that I have sleep apnea. She also went out of her way to follow up and check in to make sure that I was doing okay, even though there was no monetary benefit to her. Highly recommend.

Finally decided I was tired of being tired! Spent enough time in bed - but always felt like I needed more sleep. Alena helped me organize a sleep study - was able to do at home - simple process. Results were VERY enlightening. I have doubled on my 'deep sleep' by making a simple suggested change - and feel MUCH better!! Actually rested when I wake up. I have a monitor on my watch that measures deep sleep, so have the #'s to show. Very appreciative of Alena's experience and insight. Thought I could figure it out myself with all the info available on media - but never got the right answer. Should have done this a LONG time ago!!

Community Sleep Coach has helped me so much! I have struggled with not getting enough sleep for over a decade, only medical help I had was highly addictive sleeping pills and take home sleep tests that didn't work because I couldn't sleep long enough for accurate data. Alena helped me to have a successful take home sleep test, turns out I DO have sleep apnea! Also she requested specific blood-work tests that showed a deficiency in magnesium and vitamin D. She has been there all along the way to coach me through and answer any questions I have. She has been an excellent support and I highly recommend her to anyone that struggles with not getting enough sleep. My amount of sleep is increasing every week and I am starting to wean off various medications. I am so thrilled with her help to me and I know she can help you too!

Alena really knows what she is talking about. Helped both my husband and I - now no need for 2 bedrooms! His health is way better, and we are both sleeping better with snore issues resolved. With almost a hundred sleep issue contributors, it was awesome to find out exactly what related to us. No more guessing games. And -bonus - better sleep = better weight control. Working with Community Sleep Coach has been amazing. I came to her with a huge challenge, to help my entire family sleep!! I approached her with severe desperation as a sleep deprived mother who has not slept in 5 years! I had no hope at all struggling to find answers to why my children as well as my husband can't sleep. We are still in the process of finding the answers, as this is a huge task, but with Alena's knowledge of the many different sleep disorders and knowledge of nutrition we now have hope and the help we need to get us all sleeping! A little update: With Alena's amazing help, we have been able to work with our family doctor and our pediatrician to get tests ordered to help figure out why my family can't sleep. After testing, we found out that my husband has sleep apnea and stops breathing every 3 minutes all night long! So my husband should soon be enjoying some much needed sleep, as soon as we get a CPAP for my him. My girls have appointments set up now with an allergy specialist and also an ENT here in town, and will have to go to BC Children's Hospital for some sleep studies, so that will still be a wait, but that is just the way it is. And for myself. I will need to have a sleep study done here in Kelowna. Alena's support through all of this is amazing. She keeps me on track and helps me to push the doctors to get things done. When you are sleep deprived it is easy to just do what gets you through the day and then you don't have that push to get to the bottom of things, Alena gives me that push (more like encouragement) and keeps me accountable and I am super grateful for that.

The folks here were pleasant to deal with, but they want triple the price for many of the products they sell. For instance, a nice CPAP machine is something like $2400 at RHS, mask $250. The exact same machine and mask online is $800, and the mask around $100. The online company has live support Monday through Friday, and they help with the setup and questions you might have, so I just don't get how RHS can charge 3 times the price. The other thing I didn't like was after I got tested and my results were positive for OSA they said they would send me home with a machine for a free trial. The "free" trial costs $500 usage fee if you don't buy the very expensive machine at the end of the trial, plus $250 for a mask! So the "free" trial costs you $750.

Although they are lovely people who look after you, they will rip you off ROYALY. It was time for a check up of the equipment (Resmed Air 10) and they suggested a new Air Pillows Mask so I complied. I was absolutely shocked when I went to for it at the front desk. I curse myself for not checking Amazon while I was standing there because they charged me a WHOPPING $250.!! for what I could clearly have only needed to pay less then $100. I was so stunned I honestly couldn't believe it. I left paying that exorbitant price not realizing that I had other legitimate options. So BEWARE. I called later and complained and got they "well thats what they cost" BS! Go by all means, I believe they do want to help you, but please know you DO NOT NEED TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS
