I decided to look for temp work in Vernon which I heard was difficult to do so I sent out several messages to temp agencies. Okanagan Staffing replied immediately. They arranged an interview and I received my first assignment that same day! I couldn't believe it! Kudos to this long standing agency. They have been in business this long for a reason!

Very Rude and Unprofessional. Did not seem like she knew what she was doing; asked me to complete and bring in documents/questions but did not know what they were? Seemed very judgemental. Did not shake hands when I put my hand out to greet her/ leave, but instead just crossed her arms lol. Do not recommend !!!

I have been working with Platinum since 2016. Job placement was found for me within a couple of weeks. All the steps towards the start of my assignment were easy and clearly explained to me. My Platinum Personnel advisor is Crystal Hines. I also quite often communicate with Kim Linderman. These ladies are always there to help and they know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend Platinum Personnel when you are looking for work or temporary staff.

Heard it's a great place to work for quick cash, only thing, when I arrived I noticed it said CLOSED Saturday on the website but on the door it said Open 6am-9am and 3pm-5pm.

I hired a person from Labour Unlimited understanding that the workers are skilled and qualified. It was confirmed that this specific person we hired had criminal checks done by Labour Unlimited and that Labour Unlimited does checks to ensure that the workers they send out are safe and trustworthy to hire. It did not go well with this specific worker. If you choose to hire a person from here , please check for a drivers abstract and a criminal record check. We reported our issues to management numerous times and were told it was our fault for not checking more into the worker they supplied. We were told later that management can NOT do criminal checks on ALL workers. I asked repeatedly if it was safe to let the worker start without our usual checks and I was assured and comforted all would be safe. It was not safe and we have paid a huge price. Please do not leave any worker unsupervised that you hire from here- unless you personally do a criminal record check. You have no where to go if things go badly with an employee as management in Kelowna and Vancouver will not help . They did blame us for not checking thoroughly on this employees record , even though they say they do , they do not. This may be an isolated incident , and there may be wonderful workers here...I'm not an expert on this company, but all I know and can write on is my personal experience. My personal experience was reported to management , they refused to accept any portion of responsibility for sending a worker they admitted to us that they DID NOT check out .

This business and its management (Phil) is atrocious and unreliable. They do not know how to select staff, control them or tend to customer needs and have no business trying to operate a business of this nature - beware!

Good place to work, Money at the end of the day. Issues with pay between General Labour and Skilled. They will under pay when they can and Lisa who does the checks always messes up... Stay on top of Skilled wages to General Labour Wages n you should be fine. Good Luck and happy hunting.

This is hands down the worst recruiter in Kelowna. When it comes to scheduling interviews for positions they expect candidates availability to be at Aspires convenience as they often ask for interviews next day at 9:30am with no opportunity to adjust with what might work for the candidate as well.
