Quick background. My 06 Tundra got stranded near Golden, BC with a friend. The brake hardline to the calliper broke at the calliper. Toyota could get the part in but 3-5 biz days. Went to Napa in Rutland because their website indicated open until 6. Nope. Hours on the door say 5. Off to Cdn Tire. COuldn't help me without the part. Lordco Rutland, same deal. Up early Friday morning to traipse around Kelowna: Auto Place on Springfield: Need the part. Minit Brake and Muffler on Springfield: Need the part. Landed at Wyatt (Kel Toyota recommended them). Gentleman was sympathetic. At first he had an idea, then changed his mind. Opened his screen, looked up the make/model/year and part. Only had the brake flex hose. Went to the shelves, brought it out, opened it up, looked at the end and saw that it took a flared end. Invited me back to the box of steel brake line lengths and took out a short one. Tried it in the end of the hose. Fit! He suggested I take a longer length along just in case. Took the hose (just in case) and 2 lengths of steel brake line, paid, out the door. Told him he was the first person (after Toyota) who even offered to help! What's wrong with the other outfits that couldn't think of the same thing?! "Oh, I need that part. Can't help you without that part." Wyatt, you used brains and service and willingness to think outside the box. A lesson for all the others! Brake line was repaired and we got the truck back home. Thank you, Wyatt Auto Parts!!! I've told this story to plenty of others.

Terrible customer service from manager and be aware their name brand doesnt fit!!! I bought 2 Lordco brand rotors from them . Disassembled my car and tried to install it but didnt fit. Phoned their manager Matt Lodge, who didnt even say sorry for giving me wrong parts and did do nothing to help . I ended up taking taxi to get there and pay extra to buy another brand that fits. Also they told me on the phone I had to pay $40 extra but when I got there it changed to $50 .

An auto parts store that sells auto parts.... really not much to expect in the way of service. I made a special trip out to Kelowna to pickup a part that they brought in for me (thankful for that), but I got there at 445pm and they had closed early for no good reason. I suppose it was quiet.... Unfortunately for me, my DIY mechanic weekend was blown. Other than that, great shop. I like their recent renovations as it helps serve the customers quicker (when the door is unlocked not course).

I drove in from lake country for a quick pickup, arrived 10 minutes before close today and doors were locked up. The man inside wouldn’t even come have a conversation. Frustrated to say the least. There were 6 others that pulled up and tried to pop in between 4:50-5pm. Just so your aware NAPA. Brutal customer service. Will definitely be giving my business elsewhere next time. Really disappointed to have driven all the way in for that.

Came in to buy some power steering fluid for a Honda vehicle. They have the special kind that you have to get to put in a Honda vehicle. However, they did not have the kind that you put in that repairs/seals hoses and gaskets, even for "regular" vehicles. (Admittedly, the person I was with should just take the car to a mechanic and get the thing fixed). While I was there I was eyeballing their large rolling tool boxes. The regular ones aren't priced much better than anywhere else, but the custom models seem to have lower prices than some other places I've seen.

To the other posters: It can get busy here for a reason... cause they are often the only place with your part instock or 1 hr away. If you drop in at a busy time... wait your turn and you will get the help and parts in you need for a great price.

Don't bother phoning them to ask if they have any parts. They say they will get back to you in an hr or so then they NEVER call back! I can understand people get busy but after multiple times dealing with them and continually never having them care to call back I would rather travel the 25mins to the Vernon auto wreckers to give them my business. When you only have 1 day off to get your vehicle fixed its very frustrating..

Very frustrated with this company... I phoned today (a friday) very stressed after being stranded in an unfamiliar place for the night trying to find some parts for my car that just broke down. I was told they had 6 cars of my model on their lot and he needed to just check if he had what I needed. I was assured that he would call me 15 minutes later and hung up. No problem. I wait 15 minutes.... Then an hour... Then 2 hours. Wondering if I maybe gave them the wrong number or maybe they simply forgot to call I called back to inquire on the progress of finding the part that I really need to get home. He sounds confused and annoyed that I'm calling, tell me "yup I have your number, it's on my clipboard here we'll call in 45 minutes" so I thank him and say goodbye. It is now 9:30 at night and I'm again stranded, and of course they don't open until Monday. I have no way to get back home and no businesses in the area have the decency to call back. So thank you to this company, I don't even want the parts if they do have them. I find it ridiculous that these people have no compassion for other human beings in need. If I could give 0 stars I would. Very unhappy with the service here. Thank you for leaving me stranded, not like I have a job or a family to get back to or anything. 😑

Very frustrated as I am stranded with a blown driver rear drum set up with this business as my only hope to get back on the road as Lordco does not stock drums. We got jerked around, told that they would call back and never heard from them. It is now Friday at 10pm and they do not open until Monday morning. Thank you for absolutely nothing. I didn't expect a miracle when you said you had 7 of my cars, but I expected to be told whether or not you could help us and not keep us waiting all day for you.

After reading all the glowing reviews I felt the need to provide details of my last two experiences at this Lordco. First I purchased brakes and rotors for our 2012 Infinity for my mechanic. After much searching the gal assured me she had the right ones. Upon giving them to my mechanic he informed two of them were the wrong ones. He said he will get the right ones delivered to him. Parts were delivered but once again wrong ones. He had to drive into west k himself to insure he got the right ones!! Second experience was yesterday with my same mechanic. Needed u-joints and a pinion seal for my truck. My mechanic went into he store to get my parts, he informed me that there was 4different seals depending on my gear ratio so he bought them all. All were the wrong seals again. Now my mechanic has to drive into Kelowna to get he proper seal. The staff has always been helpful and pleasant but clearly I will source my parts elsewhere as these problems seem to be far too frequent from my experience. These errors cause me and my mechanic a lot of extra time and grief that shouldn’t be occurring . Obliviously some of the staff need better training.

Top notch staff!!! I'm going to have to tell you about Eric: New Year's Day and almost everything was closed. Husband's truck broke down on the other side of town, with a result cheap and easy fix. The few stores that were open didn't have what he needed. Eric at Lordco was able to figure out what he needed over the phone, and then drive over and help my husband get on his way! A simple and kind thing to do, made sometime rises else's difficult day much better! Thank you Eric and thank you Scott fur having such wonderful staff. You saved the day!

I am rating Lordco based on selection, knowledge, staff willing to help and friendliness. Price wise.... the most expensive auto store on the planet. Lordco replied so I am updating my review. Reply stated that I should get an account. I have one for a company with 40K employees. Yet Wyatt Auto Parts, a tiny mom pops store 3 blocks away beats my massive corporate discount at Lordco. How? Also how do you manage your inventory while printing receipts via dot matrix printer without using UPC scanners on a DOS software computer? I seriously question your business practices when it comes to operations. We're talking here 80's. I could go for a long time about each and individual overpriced product you sell that I could get on Amazon or Any Chinese website for a fraction of the cost. Yet I go back because of the staff. Not price but people you employ. In today's e-commerce market please at least join the 1990's so we can have Lordco around for years. Not meaning disrespect... But seriously...

Terrible phone service. I called because I was looking for a part. The guy answering the phones says "Hi Coast Powertrain" I say "Hi how are you doing?" he says "Oh is this important because I have 4 lines going". Hmmmm I would think any customer looking for sales and service would be somewhat important seeing as you need them to make money and have a job. Anyhow, obviously they need to brush up on there customer service, an hour has gone by and they still haven't phoned me back, I guess my money just isn't that important to them.

I recently had my vehicle booked in for a lift at Cap-It and did not have a good experience working with this business. I took my vehicle in for 830 am and they told me once I arrived that they actually didn't have the parts in stock. There was no communication beforehand letting me know and I found this to be unprofessional as I drove in from Peachland during morning rush hour. Ralph was great at rebooking me which I appreciated, however the new booking was on the same day as I was booked to get winter tires put on in the afternoon back in Peachland. I was told on both the first appointment and the second that the lift would take until 12pm. I waited until 1245, and when I didn't receive a call letting me know the lift was completed, like they told me they would, I called the store instead. The person on the phone told me they were running behind and that the vehicle wouldn't be ready until 3pm. When I arrived at the store at 315pm, the vehicle still wasn't ready, and again, no call to let me know the pick up time was delayed. I told Ralph that I was disappointed because I was trying to get to my other appointment on time, and that I had hoped it would be done earlier like he told me it would. He told me I must have misunderstood the timing and that a lift always takes until at least 2pm. He then told me they had been in contact with my boyfriend and told him it would be done later than expected, and that HE should have told me they were running late, not them. The shop had my number on file and knew he was not the contact that day as I was the one dropping off the vehicle and picking it up. He said, 'Well, what do you want me to do about it?'. My boyfriend and I were both very stressed trying to deal with this business, and I found this rude behaviour and blaming very unprofessional. I would not recommend this business to anyone based solely on the customer service I received.

These guys will certainly have my business from now on. My trailblazer, the one vehicle in this household, got towed there late Wednesday night. Thursday Ron called to say I definitely needed a starter but there was serious concern I might have seized my engine from no oil. If so my truck was basically done.There was no hard sell, he was kind and respectful as I took time to consider. The next morning I gave the go ahead. They were so busy and thought late afternoon. I let them know I had a huge event the next day.. At 11 am they had finished my truck and good news- no seized engine. They also let me know something that was necessary immediately for safety which I had let slide too long. When they fixed that part, there was potentially the need for a wheel alignment, but the truck steered well so they didn't do it just to make and extra to charge . Just so refreshing to have decent, honest business practice! Very impressed!

I would give Autoplace even more stars if I could! The customer service was fantastic, the mechanics were helpful, resourceful, and honest. They were intent on helping me troubleshoot, rather than just interested in the quick fix of selling me a new battery. I left Autoplace confident that my van had a well functioning alternator. They did not upsell and had lower prices than other shops. The thing is... I had stopped at another shop on the way, where the customer service was less than ideal. The other shop was going to charge me to do a load test on my battery. I'm sure glad I went to Autoplace instead!

I've recently purchase an older BMW, turns out I needed a electric water pump and thermostat replacement. Chad the owner of the shop quoted a very reasonable price to get it replaced. The process took less than a day to finish. I was able to get my car up and running that same day. They do know their stuff on European car, highly recommend to check them out. Better than paying a fortune at the dealership.
