Dr. Ewing seems to be a good naturopath, which is why our family usually puts up with his extremely rude staff. However, they have now gone too far and we will no longer go there. Here is what happened: Our daughter who has been a faithful customer of this place for years was recently given the wrong medication by the Ewing staff. When she arrived at home with her 5 little kids she noticed that the staff had made a mistake and given her the wrong medication. She called immediately and asked if she could exchange it the next day. But the clinic stubbornly refused and insisted that exchanges can only be done on the same day. However it was already late in the day and our daughter with her five little kids could not make it back in time. Tough luck! The clinic staff stubbornly refused to own their mistake, not to mention rectify the problem by granting an exchange or refund. Our whole family have been Ewing customers for year. We are never going back!

The ladies at WCHC are amazing. From day 1 Jo at the front desk made me feel at home, and Abigail was my incredible midwife who I now consider family. I loved each and every appointment that I had there and loved meeting the other midwives. I appreciated their natural approach while also being clinical and medical when necessary. I felt very confident in their care for both myself and my baby. If I ever needed to get in touch with my midwife with a question or concern (even in the middle of the night), I was never made to feel as if I was a bother to them or that I was wasting their time. If anything, they told me that I should have called sooner to bring myself peace of mind about what I was concerned about. The care we received during and after childbirth was exceptional and the home visits in the weeks after my son was born were a godsend. They all have such a wealth of knowledge for first time moms and dads in those first few weeks and gave referrals when necessary to other care providers such as Osteopaths, Lactation Consultants, etc. During my pregnancy I used WCHC for massage with Sarah, and met with Kathy briefly as well who were both very pleasant and easy to talk to. I have been to other events at WCHC: Birthing From Within Prenatal Class with Carolyn - SO AMAZING!, the Papalooza - fun night, Pelvic Floor Health Workshop - very informative, Baby Signing Time with Alescia - such a wonderful class, and feel welcome to pop in at any time to weigh my baby or to just say hello or borrow from their library. I will absolutely use them again with any/all children that I have in the future and highly recommend them to all pregnant mamas.

Joe at the office is so sweet and helpful! I saw most of the midwives that work there as well and I found them all to be quite friendly and skilled. Katherine and Carolyn were the midwives who attended my youngest child's home birth. Carolyn also attended my eldest's home birth. Terrific job! When I was nervous about my second child's coming delivery Carolyn even came over to my home and did therapeutic art work with me to help conquer the fears. West Coast Health treated me and I suspect all their clients like family. They care for you deeply and understand how special you and your children are. All of my concerns were handled with empathy and were resolved quickly.

Very disappointed and would NOT recommend. (early 2013) With the alternative medicine staff, I thought the midwives would be more naturally inclined rather than medical. Instead, we found the midwives to be very textbook orientated, with poor listening & customer service skills. With some knowledge of pregnancy and how midwives are supposed to operate, I was appalled when I'd ask for info and be told to look online, then told that you can't trust information online. Or, I'd be given the "you should do X" response without sufficient information for my husband & I to make an informed decision. To top it off, one midwife gave me information (calling me at work without asking if I had time, ending with me in tears) then when my husband called to clarify, she told him something different. And when he was upset with her because of how she'd treated me, we got the boot, despite our trying to contact the head midwife and resolve the issue. The best thing that happened was when we switched from their care to more experienced midwives who actually listen to my husband and I, and work with us, making sure we understood and knew our options. It made such a difference.

Great experience with this clinic! Had bad reflux for years and treated it with nexium; with the food testing it is all resolved and now no more drugs. Also was able to lose 15 pounds. Dr Hallee is simply the best! She is caring, compassionate and professional! If you look at their website they say that they specialize in women's health (this is true as Dr Hallee helped my wife and I get pregnant after being deemed infertile). But the point I want to make is that if you are a guy and want great naturopathic care, this is the place for you!

I am so sorry to have to write this but the experience was not good. My wife was prescribed what she did not need in some ways she felt was almost like a "guess" and everything was way overpriced. In my opinion, I do not feel he had the best intentions in mind for my wife and we will not recommend his service to others - ever. I hoped I warned at least one person to seriously consider looking elsewhere for an "honest" naturopath. Sorry but my wife is deeply hurt by this and we felt a review was a good step towards recovering, moving on, and saving someone else disappointment. Keep looking.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gurdev Parmar's since 2016. Throughout my breast cancer journey I've always been treated with resepct, care and compassion, not only by Dr. Parmar but by his colleges, residents, nurses, and office staff. I am always greeted warmly and whatever concerns I have, are always listened to and addressed no matter how big or insignificant. Dr. Parmar has changed my life and given me quality of life agian. I was doomed by my first medical oncologist to take a certain drug for 5 - 10 years, when I couldn't tolerate it I was told I'd die if I didn't take it. I had such a horrible reaction to it mentally that I couldn't be around my loved ones. Dr. Parmar assured me that there were other choices available and also helped me find a new medical oncologist...both Dr. Parmar and my new medical oncologist supported me in making better choices with me regarding my meds and treatment. I appreciate the fact that he consults with my medical oncologist when he needs another opinion. Often specialists aren't willing to go the extra mile, but he is and does. Never in my life have I been able to find a doctor who has been able to help me and support with my hormonal health the way that Dr. Parmar has...and I've seen a lot of medical specialists in my life. The Integrated Health Clinic is an excellent place for health care for the whole family...I've taken both my daughters there for help with a variety of concerns and have had great experiences with the other doctors as well...they were very professional, approachable and have been able to help my girls. In fact, one of my girl's doctors also checked in with me and spoke into my life in an area that I had overlooked because that is how much they care about not just their patients but their patients families as well. I've also seen Dr. Michelle Wilis for some laser treatments..and she is wonderful...I just love her!!! When I first called IHC I was greeted by a very friendly caring receptionist who knew the best way to help me figure out which doctor to see. I appreciated so very much that in my initial converstaion with her, she was up front about payment so I knew what to expect when I went in for my first consultation. Honestly, we are so spoiled by our health care system in Canada, with respect to all of our medical appointments being covered by medical...general practitioners, surgeons, surgeries, specialists, chemotherapy, radiation, blood transfusions, trips to the ER, bloodwork, scans, etc...it's all covered by medical...we shouldn't be surprised by having to pay at a private clinic for services rendered, medical doctors don't work for free. Dr. Parmar and his team are worth every penny...everyone is so warm, caring, professional and extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and they are always learning, growing and expanding their services...I have always received top notch service. I 'd highly recommend them. Hopefully one day alternative medical treatments will be integrated with mainstream medicine.

I have been a patient at integrated health clinic in Fort Langley for a few years now. In 2015 I noticed a pink spot on my back that wasn’t going away, long story short it tuned out to be skin cancer. Luckily it wasn’t the aggressive type however it was enough to scare me and make me anxious about my health. With so many people around us being diagnosed with cancer I decided to change my lifestyle and seek preventative medicine. Our regular doctors focus more on treatment vs prevention so I decided to call Dr Gurdev Parmar and let me tell you it’s the best thing I ever did. Dr Gurdev and Karen Parmar are the best doctors I have ever met. Such great team and their staff is amazing. I don’t know what I would do without them. Every year I do a women’s pre cancer screening and a lot of the blood work Dr Parmar recommended for me would never be mentioned by a regular doctor. I now have the piece of mind that I’m getting my health checked out and if something were to happen we would catch it early. I see Dr Karen for all the girly stuff. She’s amazing and always takes the time to chat with me whenever I have questions or seek advice regarding nutrition for my children. I really can’t say enough great things about the Parmar team. I read some of the negative reviews and I just don’t get it. I don’t relate to any of it. yes you have to pay but it’s a “private” clinic. They can’t do this for free. No matter what private clinic you go to it will cost you money. My heath is important to me and if I can find the money in my budget to see Dr Parmar then I totally will cause I know it’s worth every penny. If anything Dr Gurdev and Dr Karen always inform me I can do certain lab tests at life labs so I can save myself money. I choose to do all my tests at Integrated clinic anyway because I dislike needles and the only poeple that can make me feel comfortable are the ladies at the lab at Integrated health clinic. My daughter who is 6 now developed eczema when she was 18 months. I took her also to Integrated Clinic and saw Dr McGee. After we did blood work for my daughter to see what she was allergic to Dr McGee suggested certain supplements for my daughter and went over her diet and suggested the foods we should eliminate and which ones to give my daughter. We did exactly what she said my daughter now is eczema free and has been for a few years now. I highly recommend Dr Gurdev and Karen Parmar and the entire team. You will not be disappointed.

Ok let me start to say I don't believe in ND but after hearing rave reviews from trusted sources I thought I'll give it a shot. I spent an hour getting asked questions that were already answered in the novel sized questionnaire they made me complete prior to my appointment. At the end I was basically told I'm too sick and to see my doctor. I was also given a suggestion of putting drops they sell under my tongue. Then came the cherry on top, I was charged $250!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'd think charging that amount of money they could afford more than 1 clipboard, a coffee station and equipment that isn't falling apart. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Went to their website seeking information regarding a metabolic test. Reviews looked good. Initiated contact via form on the website wanting an appointment. Communicated via email with a Deanna. I needed to make sure it could be done on a weekend to book the time from work. After confirming 9am on Saturday was the soonest it could be done I said to book me in. Show up at 9 am sharp and there is no record of my communication and nothing booked. Apparently booking are only done via phone. I did not have a missed call from them no apponiment and missed work. A supervisor will apparently follow up and if results are favourable will adjust my review.

This clinic is all about money. Spent thousands of dollars on supplements and zero results. Actually, I think I am worse off than when I started. They will charge you for everything possible and always send you downstairs with a shopping list of items. Do not recommend. A waste of time and money.

I had seen Dr. Gurdev Parmar a while back. I don't do reviews but this needed to be said. I went to my medical doctor as I was having symptoms, but decided to see a naturopath to find an alternative to medical treatments. During my visit with Dr. Parmar, I was recommended various treatments and supplements. I went back to my medical doctor to discuss this with him due to my condition. He was very hesitant about this approach and naturopath, having heard problematic stories from his other patients. Some of the lab tests that were suggested, my MD was willing to do under MSP. I found this disturbing as what they were asking me to pay included testing that was covered under my regular medical. I decided to call Dr. Parmar’s office to ask if there was another less expensive option available as I did not have what equated to about $10,000 a month, when you include lab tests, visits and supplements. What I found was the initially happy & helpful staff became cold, rude & dismissive. I asked to speak to Dr. Parmar directly, and was told to set up an appointment at the regular visit price of hundreds of dollars! I would highly recommend to call this clinic regarding their visit fees before seeing the doctors. I have now opted to take my medical doctor’s advice, whether good or bad, as I cannot afford the naturopath’s approach.

This office changed my life! The staff are so understanding, kind, and helpful. I always feel so welcomed and cared for by the staff and Dr. Balcaen. I originally saw Dr. Svendsen who has since moved cities, and now see Dr. Balcaen. I came in with problems that were overtaking my life. I didn't sleep, my mental health was deteriorating, and the pain I had due to my illness was getting worse. I was told by multiple urologists I would be on medication for the rest of my life and that I had to try 12 different ones to find which one works! Since coming in, I do not experience any symptoms anymore for my illness, I am thriving off the care I receive, and as a result my whole life has changed for the better. I also do not take ANY pharmaceutical drugs! Dr. Balcaen is incredibly knowledgeable and gets to the root cause of what is going on for you, and is incredibly compassionate. He takes his time explaining what's going on for you and is genuinely concerned about your well-being and for you to get better! I couldn't recommend this office more to everyone!

When my wife and I got married she struggled with her health. I vowed to stop at nothing to find out what was wrong with her. Fast forward 15 years and her health was so bad that she could only get out of bed for a couple of hours a day. At this point we had spent upwards of $100,000 on treatments and specialists in Canada and the US. After spending some time with Dr. Balkan he recommended sending some blood down to the US for testing. She ended up testing positive for Chronic Lyme disease. Three years later with the help of another clinic in the US and a very patient and knowledgable Dr. Balken, my wife has her life back, I have my wife back, and our four boys have their mom back! Best experience ever!!!

Was told the wrong price on the phone and was asked for over twice as much after my appointment. When Dr Jones examined my old injury, he poked at it and moved it around so much I felt physically ill and almost fainted in the office, and for the next 3 days I was in horrible pain. I had been complaining of back pain for a very long time. I went to Evoke Wellness Center to see if it was even possible to get a tiny bit of relief. The last thing I thought of was that after one visit I would already feel incredible relief, not just a little relief. I can walk, stand, and sit without pain, I can do dishes without pain, I can sleep on my belly or on my back without pain... I get up after sitting down for a while and don't feel pain either... I can honestly say I'm stoked! I never thought it was even possible to be pain free. I'm much more productive as I can move faster and not get as drained by pain as I always did. I had really bad plantar fasciitis that wouldn't improve, even with rest. Just after one treatment from Dr.Lee, I noticed an immediate change and could feel that the plantar fasciitis would improve. Sure enough, after Dr.Lee's treatment program the plantar fasciitis got better. It's likely that my condition would have improved with rest (which would've required a lot of time off work), but there's no doubt that Dr.Lee's treatment improved my health.

I have had lower back pain for several months, I have tried to see Chiropractic and massage therapist for the treatment, but it was not really much helpful. Then I came to Dr Lee’s acupuncture clinic; after four visits, my symptom was gone. This is a great clinic, very helpful and they will actually listen to your concerns. Even one time when they couldn't help me with a particular problem they called and made sure I knew all my other options, and other places I could try. Best doctors office I've been too. Sometimes their treatments seem more subtle than a regular GP but they always explain their reasons. Their treatments have always helped, though it does take longer to heal than people realize, they try to figure out the root cause instead of just suppressing symptoms.

Cannot recommend him highly enough, I have had absolutely incredible healing results. and he is extremely kind, you feel like you are the only one that matters in that moment when you meet with him. Highly knowledgeable staff and overall such a great experience. One thing to keep in mind it that because Dr. Sleigh is so knowledgeable and in depth, he will go over yours or others' appt times and is often late, but you can call ahead and ask the receptionist to avoid sitting in the waiting room.
