I come here regularly to get my eyebrows waxed, and each employee I've had is the amazing! I have sensitive skin and have had bad experiences with waxing elsewhere, but the girls at the European Day Spa are all careful and attentive. I have also had pedicures here with a friend once and would highly recommend it! Unlike other nail salons, we were given a private room where we could chat and enjoy our time.

I had an exceptional experience here. I got the one hour relaxation massage and the pedicure. I had never gotten either of these things before and the staff made it extremely comfortable and didnt seem to mind my billions of probably obnoxious questions. The girl that gave my massage and pedicure was wonderful, thorough and explained every detail about the pedicure when I asked. I was blown away how someone so small could give such an excellent and powerful massage too. Overall it was just an excellent experience and I hope to return again soon.

I called to make an appointment in advance. I had never been at the wild orange before. The girl on the phone made my appointment and didn’t let me know that first time clients should be 15 minutes early to fill out a consultation form that usually goes over allergies, medical conditions, preferences, etc. I discovered this upon arrival when the receptionist told me I was “late” and that there was no time to fill out the form. I tried to explain that I had no idea that I was supposed to be early, but she talked over me and told me to follow her to the room of my appointment. I didn’t fill out a form during or after that appointment. If you need first time customers to be early, let us know instead of expecting us to know something we were not informed of. I was really pleased with my experience at Camilla laser spa. Booking was really easy over email and owner operator Parvin was quick to reply and accommodate schedule changes. At the consultation I filled out a medical questionnaire and was told that I needed a note from my Doctor to proceed with the treatments. She is definitely not out for a quick buck. During the actual treatment she checked to see if I was OK each step of the way, always explaining exactly what to expect. Afterwards I was sent home with material to care for the treated area. All in all it was a positive experience in a professional environment and I will be back again for further treatments.

Usually I am quite happy here but tonight I was really disappointed. I have an important event tomorrow and needed my nails cleaned up, I walked into the salon at 5:20 and asked if they had time for a manicure as they close at 6 and they said yes. It was slow and no one was in so I figured 40 mins was plenty of time. I sat down and picked a color and they asked if I wanted a manicure or just polish. I asked for a manicure which according to their service list includes soaking, shaping, buffing, cuticle cleanup, sugar scrub and hand/arm massage followed by polish for $35. One girl started and asked if I wanted square or round shape, I asked for square. She immediately was rushing, she did all the nails on my right hand and another girl helped her with my left hand. The second girl asked what shape we were doing and the first girl told her rounded...I had to correct her and asked if I could please have square (I get really bad ingrown nails when they grow out if the corners are rounded so I am pretty reluctant to a rounded shape) She then had to fix the shape on my right hand and was rushing even more, and all of my nails on that hand are so thin now they feel like they are burning. They are also so short that when I scratch my skin I can’t even feel my nails :( I picked a light pink color for polish, and I made sure to choose it still dark enough that I wouldn’t see thru to my natural nail (I’ve had this problem before) and the swatch I picked did not have any shimmer to it. While they were painting my nails I noticed it was really light and the number on the swatch I picked did not match the bottle they were using. I asked if it would be see-thru or if it would cover, and they assured me it would cover. But it did not, I can still see thru to my natural nail and when it dried it was metallic. I did not get any sugar scrub or massage, and all of my nails are rounded, uneven and sloppy. When I hold my hand up I can’t even tell I have polish on as the color is so light, the only thing I can see is a metallic shine that looks the same color as my skin, and I was in and out in less than 25 mins. I would have much rather they told me they didn’t have time and go somewhere else than to pay regular price to have a rushed, unfished service with the wrong color :(

I would not recommend this clinic for Botox. I’ve had this treatment for 10 years (somewhere else... in Coquitlam) and was not satisfied with the results... First, they do not use Botox and the alternative has not proven as good. The treatment did not last as long as usual, nor did it ever fully prevent frowning... If you receive Botox from a freshly opened vile, it’s the best. Although the nurse was very nice, he is not a cosmetic doctor... I was shocked when he used a longer needle to inject me in the forehead... presumably, this must have been a filler needle because in all my years I’ve never seen this. The pinching of the skin and the random injections (not the usual spots forfrown lines) were strange... Also, I did scar a little from one of the injections.

1.5 years ago I had 11 sessions (about one per month) getting laser hair removal at this clinic with Jamie. Before I decided to get laser hair removal I visited three laser locations in Abbotsford. Jamie was by far the most knowledgable and educated aesthetician out of the 3 places. Lasers can burn you or really hurt if they aren't used properly so I wanted to make sure I was in good hands. Jamie knows what she is doing, and she's professional and nice. I was confident in her skills. I had my underarms done as well as a full brazilian. I have big thick dark hair and light skin so I'm a prime candidate. I wanted to get laser hair removal done to help deal with ingrown hairs, razor burn red bumps, quickly growing in dark hair, etc. They said expected results could be about 70%+ reduction of hair almost permanently with 8-9 sessions. But I ended up having to do more because I wasn't able to go in consistently enough and missed a month here and there, and apparently that can affect things?? Whatever the case, I would say that my underarms have about 70% success. There is at least 30% of the hair still there which is a little disappointing, but at least it's a bit finer hair. I mostly pluck the remnants out now so that it's hairless longer. Since the laser treatments I sometimes get a few pimple/heat-rash-type blisters in my underarms in like the "empty" hair follicles. I'm not sure what that's about and it's annoying but fortunately only happens occasionally. But that never happened before laser hair removal. For the bikini area, although I got a fully clean brazilian, for some reason I ended up as if I had just done a bikini laser treatment, and I don't know why. So for the bikini area I would say I have only about 5-10% of hair still left there so I'm pleased with that area. But it was basically of a waste of money to do a full clean brazilian since I probably have about 60-70% of the hair left in that area (only 30-40% removed). It was also more painful in that area (think pubic bone) and of course "less private." One time Jamie used the "blonde hair" laser on me towards the end of the sessions, and I thought something was seriously wrong for about 2 hours afterwards it hurt so badly, but fortunately it didn't last beyond that. But the rest of the time with the regular "dark hair" laser it would hurt (like a snap of pain) in the moment, but the pain would be gone almost right after. It's an extremely expensive procedure so make sure you're willing to be okay with incomplete results afterwards before you commit to the whole pricey laser process.

Kam is my go-to nail lady, she takes excellent care of the natural nail and has a keen eye for detail when applying polish. Highly recommend this location.

These ladys are so nice. Very relaxing and close to home.

I had a massage here and the massage was good 90% of the time. She pushed too hard on my shoulder bones and I should have spoke up but I was trying to relax. Now I have bruises on my shoulders. It sucks when people that give massages don't understand basic anatomy. Bones don't need to be massaged! Also the table was very hard. I will try a different therapist next time and ask for an extra pillow. Prices are good.

I went in for a waxing appointment (brazilian, under arm & half legs) and left feeling disappointed. Basic waxing techniques were not carried out correctly & left me with bruising. The tech was double dipping in the wax which is a huge no-no but I was too embarrassed and in too much pain to bring it up at the time. The waxing tech did zero clean up work with tweezers after the procedure. The job was not finished & I went home to finish it myself. Beautiful establishment, but overall a disappointing experience.

I had an appointment with the owner for a haircut and had specified when I made the appointment that I would only have 1 hr and 15 mins as I had to pick up my daughter from camp afterwards (I have short hair and only needed a trim so this was very doable). When I got there the owner was busy with another client. I waited 15 minutes, then asked the girl at the desk how much longer it was going to be since I only had an hour left until I needed to leave. She had no clue and the owner was still working on her other client’s foils so I left. Very disappointed - I really needed a cut and will not have the time to get one now until next month. I will definitely not be returning and if you’re a busy mom I suggest you find another salon that respects your time.

I was really disappointed with their service. My wife and I had a date booked with them and no one showed up. When we followed up they told us we had cancelled. Then we insisted we hadn’t and they claimed maybe someone called on our behalf. Sounded like a bunch excuses and so make sure to call in before you go (just to save you from wasting your valuable time). And what hurt the most was we had to find a baby sitter for that day🥶.

My husband booked Ritual Spa for my birthday. We both had a manicure, pedicure, and facial. The service was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. The facility is clean and they use all new products for the pedicure so you know you're not going to contract something due to something not being cleaned properly. I will definitely be back again.

seriously, don't waste your time. Your beautiful without their services. I will never go here again, i just went and got my eyebrows waxed and all the skin under my brows got torn off. Its quite painful and will likely take quite a few days to heal. I should have gone back in for a refund. This has not been my first bad experience, every time i have gone in, they have made comments about me to make me self conscious / insecure to try to get me to purchase more of their services. "You should really get your face threaded, you have a lot of facial hair. you should really have us tint your brows, they are so light." etc . There are classier places that are cheaper, dont bother coming here.

I am sure that this is a lovely Spa and would be a nice experience. However, I will now not be going there to experience this for myself. I bought a Dealfind special Nov.2012(?) (yes a long time ago) and now it will not be honored. It has no expiration date - so should have been able to be used anytime. I made my appointments, 2 different times and they canceled them, not me. I was disappointed and put the Voucher aside, forgot about it and just found it again. I do not live in Mission - but thought that this would be worth the drive for 2-3 hours of pampering. I was informed that she no longer needed to build up her Clientele and didn't feel the need to honor the Voucher. It is a shame that I cannot now recommend her Business to others. I know a few people in Mission always looking for a good place to go.

Visited the European Day Spa for the first time yesterday evening and was treated to a relaxing European Pedicure. The facilities were clean and comfortable. I was offered tea or coffee and waited in the lounge area. Melanie was fantastic and very accommodating with all of my requests. I have a couple of suggestions; it is always enjoyable when the spa provides warm towels for your legs when the massage is being performed. Also, I was disappointed that the salon did not carry any of the 2018 OPI polishes and that the selection of colors was so limited. Additionally, the spa does not sell the polishes, so even if I had wanted to purchase one of the holiday colors for my service, I was not able to. It would be great if they carried the mini bottles and offered to include the bottle at an additional charge. Finally, while not all spas offer it, a punch card for return customers or other perks for being loyal to the spa would be appreciated. While the aesthetician that performed my service was excellent, some of the amenities I would have appreciated were lacking.

Just got my hair done at European Day Spa, and the experience was fantastic. The staff are all concerned about my well-being, and had friendly, but not intrusive conversations with their clients. My hair can be tricky to work with if your less experienced, but Jessica (I recommend her) knew exactly what to do, and was observant and present in the situation. The final product is absolutely stunning, and I doubt I could be happier with it.

Since this place became european day spa the service and talent has gone drastically down hill. I will never get my hair done here again! The spa side was pleasant! I have had the privilege of both working at Gente Bella and of being a client after I moved to Richmond. I can say that the spa and salon services are beyond amazing, affordable and the atmosphere is relaxing where is should be (the spa) and interactive on the salon side. Each employee at Gente Bella enjoys her job, is continually being educated in current fashion by attending classes and conferences all over the world and really loves her clients. I have had my hair cut by Monika and Magdalena, nails done by Carmen and spa services by both Liza and Becky. Some of the listed names may be currently on maternity leave :) These woman at Gente Bella are dedicated to each client, making you look and feel amazing from start to finish. If you haven't been then you're missing out on a wonderful experience! I've tried finding other places in the Vancouver, Richmond area but the prices can't be beat and the service is unmatched. I also know from being behind the scene once upon a time just how generous the owner is. She is kind, has a big heart and takes personal care and interest in both her girls as well as the business. If you've been and haven't been satisfied with your service call in and they will do what they can to change your unsatisfied visit for an AMAZING experience. If you have never been I encourage you to check it out, get a pamphlet, ask questions, take a tour and get the next available booking for whatever you need. My favorite spa experiences have been massages, facials, and perfect pedicures. My hair cuts have always enhanced my beauty and brought out my features. THANKS GENTE BELLA GIRLS AND LESLEY!!!!
