Contacted Remax for an agent to help us sell our property. Kelly Rissing came out, spent over an hour getting personal information from us and said he would call in one week to give us the information we asked for. He did not call and after repeated calls to him, some he answered and most he brushed off, when I last called he didn't even remember my name. I find this agent most unprofessional and would not recommend him to any person who wants to sell their property. I do not believe he will give good service and does not have your interests in mind.

I had dealt with Jordan Ceh in this office and found this person not to be trust worthy, arrogant and rude. When asked for keys for an RV he stated that he opened all doors and in another sentence he put cap locks on which is yelling in text that he opened all the doors. He did not offer any other solutions to show proper customer service. I had to contact my lawyers office and ended up getting extra keys from the vendors lawyers office. I do not recommend dealing with this office. My realtor went to this office to pick the keys up for me and she indicated that she was glad I did not go as the receptionist was rude to her as well! If I could give a negative star rating.....I would give a negative -3 just on how they treat people!

Brenda Powell did an amazing job for us. We were nervous first time buyers. She treated us as if we were her only client. She was at our beck and call. She would even reply to emails sent to her late at night, the replies came shortly after the email was sent. She walked us through every step of the way, even gave us referrals for replacement of carpets once we found a place and got us a deal on that. It was really truly like having a family member there taking care of us as we did this. Due to issues with our mortgage brokers this was a roller coaster ride but Brenda even helpped with that.Thank you Brenda so much we can't wait to move into our home !

Be very careful before considering renting eith them. Horrible place to deal with. Lived in their house and ehem we took possession they said no smoking indoors (which was not a problem cause we don't smoke), the entire house smelled like smoke. We had to air it out for 2 full days before it was liveable. When we went for inspection there was really nice appliances. The day we moved in we found they had switched it for cheap cheap appliances without letting us know. We cleaned and lived in that house like it was our own, but if any repairs are necessary get ready to wait days for their handy man to come fix something and even when they do come they will come at very odd hours like late late in the evening. When the plumbing pipe broke we could not even get a hold of anyone to come and fix it. We called the main office and said we do not know anything about it sorry cannot help you. Bad bad experience.

Zamir hussain is completely unprofessional realtor. Do not deal with him. He kept on lying about other offers on the house and when i finally made the offer which the seller verbally accepted, he made him cancel the deal after sending me all the documents to sign. He sent me the purchase agreement to sin it and set up the time to meet. And when i tried to reach him for the meeting at the given time, he didnt even picked up my calls. The first time i went to see the house, he never ever showed up and told us to see the house just with the seller which shows how unprofessional he is. BEWARE!!!

I had such an unpleasant experience with Karen Farynowski. I was shocked at how unprofessional she was. She clearly made a racist remark about Muslim people taking lots of jobs !?! How is this person even a real estate agent. She even referred me to her "assistant", which was her daughter, that hated working for Karen and was even less qualified that her mother. I STRONGLY encourage people to NOT deal with Karen or her "assistant". I will be filing a complaint.

Beware of dealing with this office and specially the realtor called Eddie Castillo. He listed a foreclosure on Saturday 22nd. I called to view it almost 5 hours after listing and when I did view it and was ready to write an offer he refused and insisted to wait till Sunday evening because there will be other viewings on Sunday, which is unethical and not professional at all. He also insisted on representing me on the offer promising to help get the house by "disclosing" other offers to me to help me submit an offer with a better price and that's because "he will earn double the commission in my offer". When I told him that this looks illegal, he said this is " a grey area" that we can use for our benefit. When I went to his office on Sunday to write the offer, he tried to convince me to pay more than the price I have in mind claiming that he is trying to help me win the other offers and when I asked him if there are other offers on the house he said not yet, but there will be on Monday morning BUT he will call to give me a hint on how much we should do our offer, and that's of course because he wants me to win the house because he will earn double commission in my case. So I wrote my offer for $550K with no conditions (AS PER HIS ADVICE to make the offer unconditional because this will sweeten my deal even with if the bank received a higher offer) and waited for his direction on Monday morning. I called at 7:50 am as he said he is expecting to receive the offers by 7:30 am. He did not answer. Then he called me by 1 pm saying that another buyer has fired their realtor and hired him as their representative and they offered $650K WITH NO CONDITIONS AS WELL for the house (which actually was listed for $610), all of this happened on Monday morning????? So why did not you call me and see if I would be interested to offer more than him? he said I doubted that you would pay more for the house so I submitted the offers as is. And when I asked him how could you represent more than one on the same offer and disclose the information to all of them, he said "Oh, I can represent more than 10 buyers on one sale if I want". Of course he used "the gray area" for his benefit and disclosed my offer to the other buyer that he represented, but this time he succeeded to convince that poor guy that he has to pay more WITH NO CONDITIONS for the house to win the competition. Today, he called and said that the house is sold $635 (not $650) and when I asked him I should have trusted my guts when I first saw him that he is so fishy and tricky and full of grey areas. I do not care about the house any more, I just want people to beware when they deal with him. An official complain will be also submitted to RECA to investigate, and I will do my best that RBC know what kind of realtors represent them. I will also reach to the new buyer (from the title certificate) and let him/her know how they were fooled by being convinced to fire their realtor and hire Eddie to get them "the best price on the house". I used John Stobbe from Century 21 Platinum Realty for managing my house in Sherwood Park. I figured hiring a professional realtor accredited by the Real Estate Council of Alberta would help ensure I had a professional - Boy was I wrong! In May of this year during talks between the tenant John Stobbe and myself John fell silent. He would not respond to my tenants inquires or my own. John’s office would not answer if he was on holidays, they just ignored my query to see if John was in the office – they just stopped responding – century 21 Platinum Realty stopped responding weeks before my tenant’s lease was due for no explainable reason. I live out of country but have a local Edmonton phone number on my IP phone. I am very easy to contact. After weeks of trying to get in contact with John I sent him a termination letter due to his lack of professional behavior and gross insubordination in regards to the lease renewal for my property. The day after I terminated my contract with century 21 Platinum Realty contacted the tenant and told her that they would be entering my house. I had to pay for a lawyer to send a cease and desist letter to enforce the fact that they had been terminated and were no longer my property manager so a new manager could take over and provide proper service to myself and my tenant. They then made up a fee out of nowhere and called it a ‘management agreement termination fee’ for $340.00 – basically they charged me because I fired them for ignoring me and my tenant. On my last statement they also kept another $350.00 as a building reserve (for a building they no longer manage). When my new property manager took over they refused to transfer the $350.00 building reserve over to him. I still have no idea what it is for or if I will ever get it back? I am in the process of filing a complaint with the ‘Real estate Council of Alberta’ to help warn others of this unprofessional behavior with one of their accredited realtors. So long story short if you want to be ignored during important negotiations, if you want to have lawyer bills and if you want to have your money taken from your trust account without explanation then by all means use Century 21 Platinum realty to manage your property. I wish you could give no stars.

I rent from them. They failed in doing their due diligence and had my back deck ripped out. Instead of keeping the boards which were in good condition Christine had them sawn up into chunks costing the owner much money with the knowledge of the Owner of the firm, John Stobbe. I am without a deck and have a mud hole. I have gone to court and have had a rent reduction. Unprofessional and unethical firm and unworthy of being a Century 21 Realtor. Remember that the unnecessary work was completed on September 13th of last year. Today they are only just replacing the deck. APEGA is doing a full review for the unnecessary work. Remember no qualified engineer inspected any of the foundations of any of the suites in this building. You had the unit owner's property destroyed for no purpose.

This company has been nothing but a hassle to me. I have asked the owner of the company John over 30 times about the AGM meetings and condo meetings over 3 years yet I have not received any response from him. He email me back saying I will answer the questions but other than that nothing from him. How hard to answer when he held the AGM meetings for my building. I am an unit owner that is managed by this guy. I have been suffering from their irresponsible for almost 3 years. By law the AGM meetings should be held every year and again by law he has to sent out the AGM meeting notifications to the owners. John has not sent any AGM meeting notifications ever since, that mean he is doing illegal actions. That mean he is not capable of performing his job. I have no idea who is on condo board, I have no idea what kind of financial decision has been taken regarding the building. I sent him 10 emails to have him to fix the buzzer. I sent him 15 emails to fix the parking sign on the bulding. I sent him 30 emails when there will be AGM meetings. Please show some respect and your job properly. So if you don't want to suffer the way I do, you know what to do. find another John to look after your business. March 12, 2018: i have sent many emails regarding parking issue. I called the company owner John to bring the parking issue up again he said there was no email, i went through all my sent emails and sent him several emails pointing the same parking issue. This guy doesn't get it all. It is extremely frustrating that this guy managing my building. Make sure you sent him 20 emails and several phone calls to have him to do his job. of cource if you want to waste your time with him. March 14: there was supposed to be an AGM meeting. In the last few hours AGM meeting canceled but instead they want to the owners meeting. Isnt' AGM is the owners' meeting? This company is a fraud, they havent done anything properly for my building. there is no budget, no reserve fund study, no expense list. Hopefully we will get rid of this ignorant guy who doesn't know how to manage a building and advise the condo board properly. RE: To your respond John, I talked to condo board. They told me they didn't advise anything about AGM meeting. Despite their decision you are hired as a professional to run the building. You should know it is the LAW to held the AGM meeting. You should have sent the information to the all owner so they could be part of the decision. I am looking forward for a professional and responsive management from you from now on. I am an excellent renter of a home that is for sale. Teresa Hall with River City Remax is the owners agent. When Teresa called to make an appointment to come see the place for selling price estimate, I pleasantly agreed and met her at my home. She handed me her realtor business card and explained she would do a quick walk through and that was all she needed. She immediately took her phone out of her pocket and proceeded to take pictures of my dining room wall (which I had painted with permission) I kindly asked her not to take any pictures, I have not signed any documents giving permission. She continued to take pictures of small property damage. Like railings and such-very insignificant. She claimed that she is taking these for the landlord. I asked her if she was here as a realtor agent or landlord? She continued to take a picture of the railing. I asked her kindly to leave and she refused to leave. I asked her over six times before my children started to get upset and come down stairs. She started yelling at me to "pay my rent" and laughed stating, "you are making this so hard on yourself." I am a single Mom of two girls and my hardship is none of her business. She humiliated me in front of my young children and scared them deeply. I had to keep asking her to "please leave, please leave" Teresa stood in my doorway smiling and shaking her head spouting about over due rent until she slowly put her shoes on and casually left. My Landlord is Teresa's friend; I did not know that. *I have NEVER been late on my rent before and I had already paid 85% of aprils rent on the first of the month, how did she know?. I felt bombarded and targeted. This was a horrific experience and I hope she doesn't ever have to come back to my home. I will gladly work with anyone from this firm except her, if I don't have to. I am not a dirt bag or a person who takes advantage. I work hard. I will make an official complaint. This was so unprofessional and adolescent. I'm absolutely shocked. I don't recommend Teresa Hall as a realtor.
