I was referred to the CWMC by my family doctor in January 2016. I am in my mid-sixties and have carried an extra 100 pounds for many years. I was interviewed, sent for blood work, given my options (they have more than one program) and in March 2016 I started down the new path I had chosen with Dr. Walji and her team. One year later, January 2017 I had lost +60 pounds, had highs and lows, laughter and tears, and have learned a lot more about myself than I had known before. The journey continued through 2017 and I have adjusted to the changes in my lifestyle and am now hoping to not just maintain but lose an additional amount of weight, but that is not necessarily going to happen and I am learning that that is okay. The scale is not a major part of the CWMC philosophy. This is a professional medical approach to weight management and you understanding yourself. The CWMC isn't magic, it is a learning process. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to understand themselves and the health issues and inter-action their weight has to do with their day-to-day lives and relationships.

I cannot say enough positive about my experience at this clinic. I am taking the CORE program, which is free. I go in once a month to see a Dietician and a Weight Management Doctor. The staff are all super positive, and I am seeing excellent results. While they do have other programs, I was not in a position to be able to afford for a more intensive program, but the CORE program is working very well for me. They have worked with me to develop life style changes. I feel that this is something I can stick to, and I look forward to my 4th visit next month. I would recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with their weight.

I have used the services of CWMC for a few years, and I have found the staff to be outstanding. The knowledge and level of support is amazing. I will agree that it can be a little expensive at times, however I have to ask myself what is my health worth to me? When I answer that, then no amount of money is to much. I found the program to assist me in understanding my weight and learning how to work at a life long plan of health. Being skinny does not equal healthy! Would I recommend this approach to others? Yes I would!!!

I don't know, maybe they changed staff since the below reviews, but i find the ladies there very helpful and redily answer questions. They always find an alternative food if they run out of something, I've never had tobdrive back for something. They're patient and funny and I think they really care about helping. I find the weekly one on one time very helpful as well as the strategy planning for events and how to handle different social food situations. If you're having a moment during office hours you can call for advice/help. After taking Kelly's Holiday course, I lost 3.2lbs. Over Christmas, with eating turkey dinner! And I'm down 34 lbs so far. Yes i recommend them, they're a good team.

Jenny Craig food does work for weight loss. Unfortunately this location is under staffed and long wait times to see a consultant. Many times food items are missing from the menu and its a challenge to drive back to pick food items.

I had the same experience as the other patient's post by Nemat Hassnain. Dr. S. Patel loses his temper for no apparent reason, is very rude, and extremely unprofessional. He then spoke to his nurses who since that time have been very, very, rude and demeaning to patients. I would go slightly further than Nemat (whom I have never met but I read his posting) that Dr. S. Patel should be removed from his position by the Bernstein Head Office and the two nurses who took his lead and are so very, very unprofessional and rude should be looking for work elsewhere. I moved to the Bernstein office in McKenzie Towne. It was great! The doctor was patient and respectful and the nurses and office staff were so friendly and helpful!

Dr. Bernstein diet is designed to make people feel and look good. All seemed professionals and friendly till I met the doctor on the premises'. His name is S. Patel. He spoiled my experience and confidence in the service I was getting that I had to switch to another clinic. I was scheduled for 15 minutes appointment but spent less than five minutes. He yelled at me and seemed very annoyed for no reason except I was trying to ask a question. I would like to compare his service & professionalism to the workers at spy hill landfill but that would be unfair to them because they are very nice and professionals even they are junkyard workers. what I am trying to say is, he is a very Junky doctor that would hurt the business if he doesn't get reprimanded.

Ideal Protein Weight Control Clinic is a professional, and supportive clinic! The diet works, and to my pleasant surprise it was an anti-inflammatory diet! I started with Ideal Protein last winter as I was getting to plan my wedding for this last September and my fiancé (now husband) at the time was looking to loose a large amount. The staff their are all very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I did well on the program losing a total of 40 lbs and actually really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately I gained all my weight back but that's on me. Literally.:/ My only advice if you do decide to join the program would be to really commit to exercising. They do try to tell you that but I figured I'd worry about it after I hit my goal weight. The exercise never did happened and if it's not a part of your weekly routine the weight just comes pouring back on to you. Hope this is helpful and good luck. :)

Was part of Jenny Craig for a month. Had success with weight loss. Left to go on vacation. Called to see if we could purchase food. Was told in no uncertain terms if I wasn't part of the weekly consultation, which was really a waste of time, I could not purchase food. Very very disappointed in the customer service and unwillingness to even work with me. No effort was made to try to re-enroll me. Obviously not interested in working with the customer. Try weight watchers instead, alot cheaper

After a couple of consultation meetings I decided to go with the Clean Start weight loss program that is offered by Glenmore. Frankly, I can't say enough good things about it. If you do what the program book and the wonderful staff at Glenmore say to do, you will be able to surpass any limitations that you thought you were under for weight loss. I lost over 35 lbs going through the process. My original goal was only to loose 20. I found that seeing the immediate results was a great motivator to stick to it. Also, the fact that there is a set amount of time for the diet will give you a light at the end of the tunnel. It's not something that you have to keep doing until you will lose the weight. That will happen just by what you're doing. The health benefits started becoming evident 2 weeks into the process. My blood pressure has gone down and I have much more energy in my daily activities now. I'm just going to say that for this whole thing to work properly, you need to go in with an open mind and be willing to follow the advice you are given. Many of the things that are involved you may seem strange at first, but the results speak for themselves. Be prepared to take a hard look at how you've been doing things before you started and what changes you need to make. Go in for the weekly appointments when you are supposed to, and be ready to accept advice when it's offered. Don't go into this thinking you know better, because you probably don't. Again, I'm just speaking from personal experience. Good luck to everyone on their journey.

I am so grateful I went here! Dr. Jay and his staff are friendly, transparent and well informed about what I need to help get me moving. Before going to Shepard Health, I was discouraged about seeking out MORE treatment after 7 months of physio at 2 different locations with little results. I cannot believe the difference I've seen in such a short time with Shepard Health! This is the most stable and pain-free my knees have felt in almost 2 years. I've been told previously that I need physio, massage, active release etc. to get my knees where they need to be. Who can afford all those services separately? At Shepard Health, they do it all! My fist time at Shepard Health I received 5 different treatments that helped tremendously. I wish I would have started my treatment journey here instead of wasting time & money elsewhere. This is a place to avoid if you'd like to receive proper treatment. This is the busiest clinic you'll ever see, and it comes at the cost of patient care. You will be brought back twice a week for the indefinite future regardless of the issues you have. This is a place where as a patient, you are subjected to watching Jay yell at his staff, regardless of who is in the room. Jay is unprofessional, unhygienic, highly distracted, and fake. I once heard him say he "got no sleep last night" ...and somehow still felt he was capable to adjust patients.... does that seem wrong to anyone else, or is it just me?

Saw Dr. Jay about a year ago for my back pain, and it still angers me how poor he treats some of his patients. I’m not sure if he only treats his “rich” or “famous” patients well, but when I went there, it was a 2 minute appointment where he asked me to point to one spot where it hurt, and would crack my back in that singular spot. He would ask me how my day was, but wouldn’t ask me anything about my back or give me any advice. I was then pressured into paying for more services and coming back for repeat appointment. I came back once or twice to see if it was just the first appointment that was like that, and it was the same for every appointment. People I’ve talked to have had the same experience as me, I am pretty sure that they either give themselves reviews or give rewards to people who give them good reviews.
