We hired Diane and Mike for our June 2013 wedding. They make a wonderful team! They each bring their own unique sense of style when capturing their photos. And what they create is truly art. They work together as a highly efficient team, allowing your wedding day to proceed naturally and uninterrupted. They made Ryan and I feel comfortable and natural, which is so important when sharing intimate moments with relative strangers. Posing for pictures can be very awkward, but Diane and Mike's playful and easy going demeanor make it easy! They are also the masters of capturing candid moments, the moments you can look back on and reminisce about, moments that you might not have remembered otherwise. The "photobooth" was such an awesome addition to the reception and all our guests had a blast taking pictures in front of the gold sequins backdrop. We have over 2000 photos of the day and made a beautiful gallery wall in our house with their photography. The perfect art!!! The gorgeous photos they took of our day have also been featured on a wedding blog. Hire them, you won't regret it.

From the moment we met Christina and Nathan, we knew they were the photographers for us! They both have such amazing personalities, easy to talk to, and truly want to make your photo session the best it can be. We used Christina (plus) Nathan for our wedding and could not be more pleased with the process from start to finish. During our interview, they were great at showing us samples from weddings that were similar to what ours was going to be, in terms of size and location. This was extremely helpful in allowing us to picture our day and see the kind of work they could do. We had our engagement session with them and were over the moon with the pictures we received. They were everything we wanted and more – a mix of classic, traditional, and artsy! We met with them a few times after that, in person and on the phone, to discuss all the details, names, timing, locations, etc for the big day. They were fantastic at giving suggestions and helping us along the way! Christina and Nathan helped make our wedding day go as smoothly as possible! They were extremely punctual, showing up at our respective locations on time and getting all the pictures we had asked for prior to the ceremony. They got pictures of every angle, moment, and emotion throughout the ceremony, from beginning to end. They were extremely patient and organized in what was a slightly chaotic picture session due to a few of our guests – ensuring we still got all the photos we wanted. They even managed to pull us aside at the reception to make up for some of the photos they did not get at the other locations. When we received our slideshow and pictures, we could not have been happier. They truly captured everything and made our fairytale day something we can always look back on in picture form. We met with Christina and Nathan again after that to discuss and pick our album. There were so many options; we were able to customize to be the perfect fit for what we wanted. They take such pride in their work and the presentation of their photos, and it really shows. And now we have the most perfect album to show off our day! We would highly recommend Christina and Nathan and plan to use them for many more of our photo sessions in the future!

When we brought on Christina and Nathan to capture our wedding, not only did we get a wonderfully creative pair of photographers, but we got amazing advice for the structure and agenda for the day too. As our wedding was early in the shoulder season, they scoped out the most practical areas to shoot at given the unstable May weather and a location that would fit into the schedule for the day. They chose an amazing area that looked as if we were in the middle of the forest and helped us seamlessly transition to our ceremony, on time! They took both posed and candid photos of us throughout the day, and all our emotions were captured during ceremony and dinner beautifully. Christina and Nathan are amazing photographers! They helped the day run super smoothly and they took gorgeous pictures along the way. They made us feel at ease, they made us laugh, and they created a beautiful album that our families will enjoy for years to come. I really loved their style of photos too. We needed a little more time than we thought for pictures, and they were flexible and tried their best to accommodate our wedding schedule. They considered and arranged alternatives if the weather was poor, since we had a winter wedding, and I completely trusted them to help us make our wedding beautiful and memorable. Christina also helped provide some industry advice, which led to our fabulous selection of florists, makeup artists and hair stylists for our special day. They’re also excellent at shooting in low lighting (think the Lake House with black ceilings), and at sunset, which are especially difficult. They also managed (maybe by magic?) to make us a short wedding highlight reel, which was also amazing, while not sacrificing any photo moments at our wedding. There is nobody better than Christina (plus) Nathan in this industry. They have tons experience to draw upon, and they listen to their clients to ensure everyone is happy with it! I was quite nervous at the beginning of the shoot and Christina and Nathan made us feel really comfortable and we actually had a lot of fun. They took a variety of pictures ranging from formal to casual to creative which left us with a really interesting portfolio to work with for our Save-The-Dates and invitations. The photos taken of people dancing is amazing; I originally didn't want any dancing photos cause they usually look silly, like taking photos of people with food in their mouths, but WOW! Emily is amazing! From the very first email she was kind and helpful and super knowledgeable. Me and my husband are not the picture taking kind of couple, if there is a camera we are usually shying away from it. But when we went for our engagement photos Emily picked the perfect location that had everything we wanted and made us feel us super comfortable. She kind of distracted us and made us laugh until we got comfortable with the posing. Leading up to the wedding she was always checking in on us. She was always ready to answer questions at any time and I found her to be the best asset I could have when planning. The wedding day came and as soon as she got to our hotel room I could tell she was super excited for me and ready to get started. She made me feel confident in my self and she really added some excitement and took away some of my nerves which I really appreciated! We opted to have a second shooter for our day and I would totally recommend it! We had Jaquie helping and she was also amazing.She had really unique ideas for photos and we are super excited to see how they turn out. During the reception they kept leaving their meals to take pictures and I really loved their dedication to getting all the great shots we asked for. When it came to the cake cutting I actually asked Emily how to do it and she just said okay your going to cut here and here and feed each other. I owe Emily a huge thank you because she was absolutely amazing and I have been telling everyone that you definitely cannot go wrong with her!

My fiancé and I won a 'free' engagement shoot and were told we a discount on the actual photos. We were extremely disappointed when we saw the prices AFTER the shoot. We had no access to the prices before hand and if we did we wouldn't have even gone on the shoot with them. There was no discount! The prices were so overpriced. They wanted $50 for one 4x6!! Not happening. When we mentioned we wanted a USB stick with the photos or just a link to the photos so we could share them with our family and friends they said they didn't do that. We told them that we wouldn't have gone and taken up their time, they were less than pleased with us.Don't be fooled by their 'deals' as they are not! Their photos are very staged and they used the same poses for every couple. Very ridged photos. Side not, we found our wedding photographer who also did an engagement shoot with us and gave us the link to all of the photos for free. :)

It was an easy decision for me when we decided to get married who would do our wedding photographs. We had a very large wedding party and the weather conditions were less than ideal ( -25 with snow). We have used Limelight Photography six times since 2014 and could not be happier with the service and photos we received. Paula is excellent with newborns and young children, pets, organizing large groups ( 8 adults and 7 young children in our case), and both indoor and outdoor photography. Each of the times we used her she was punctual and professional. We knew the full price ahead of time and she always delivered the finished photographs within two weeks of the shoot. It was an added bonus that we were able to view and download the hi-res photos from Limelight right away instead of having to wait for the usb hard copy to be delivered (which we received usually 2-3 days after the photos were complete). Could not be happier! So many occasions captures perfectly.

Cole Hofstra is a magnificent photographer. We were fortunate enough to book Cole for both our engagement and wedding photos. During the engagement shoot we learned that, as Cole puts it, he simply loves love. Working with him, this sentiment really shines through. His photos captured all of the love, joy and warmth we felt on our wedding day, not to mention all the fun we had. Cole has the perfect mix of enthusiasm, professionalism, and humour, putting everyone at ease when they know the camera is focused on them which is no small feat. He just seemed to know all the right times for either encouraging people to keep hamming it up or when to step back and let the quiet moments play out, resulting in beautiful, candid shots. His level of experience really shone through when our day kept switching between rain and sunshine. While his style is relaxed and fun, his mind is 100% on task, quickly shifting directions to take advantage of a momentary sunbeam, noticing when a groomsman has his umbrella blocking a bridesmaid, or capturing your little nephew doing something adorable. Cole was amazing at taking our zany idea of going climbing and turning it into the most wonderful shots. Even while suspended several metres off the ground, Cole was still making us laugh and providing directions to make sure we looked beautiful and were having fun. This is stating the obvious but any wedding is a once in a lifetime event, so no do-overs on the photos; and is full of very intimate and personal moments. Who your photographer is matters as they will be part of all those moments and they have a big responsibility to capture them. Cole is an outstanding photographer and just a wonderful person to be around. Having him capture our wedding was the best decision we made. I cannot recommend Cole enough!

From initial contact and planning to check-ins throughout the day, Cole continuously made sure our expectations were met (and exceeded!). Where do I even start?! Sean's workshop was amazing!! He jumped right into education and didn't miss a beat! He covered everything from business psychology, in-person sales and marketing, to his creative photography process of lighting, composition, and prompting his couples to get real moments from them. He was patient, answered all my questions, he was very methodical and clear in his teaching, was very humble in sharing his own experiences of what has worked and hasn't, and was very calming, sincere, kind and fun. He walked us through a live shoot, showing us how to use available light, off-camera flash, how to interact with the couple, look for interesting compositions and how to create variety in photos. The couple we used as models for the workshop were very impressed with him and felt very comfortable with him. After the workshop, Sean showed us how he edits and delivers photos to clients and made sure we had all our questions answered. Even during lunch and after the workshop was over, Sean continued to share business and photography insight with us. He was a complete open book and is very passionate about his craft and sharing his knowledge to help us elevate our work/business. His methods work! Right after the workshop was over, I had a client inquiry and was able to book them on the spot because I had put into use what Sean had taught me. I definitely want to take another workshop from him or join his one-on-one mentorship program. Would also love to hear him speak at a conference. I felt I learned a lot and came away very inspired and empowered to review my notes and implement his strategies into my business.

Sean is a true master at his art. When we first called and talked with him, he wanted to get to know us first before we even talked about anything else. When we met up for our engagement photos it was so relaxing. It felt like a hike on the mountain with a really good friend. Our engagement photos blew us away. Couldn’t ask for anything better. At that point we knew that we had nothing to worry about in regards to our wedding photos. The day of our wedding went so smooth with Sean. At no point did we worry he was going to miss something. Sean was the only photographer at our wedding and managed to capture all different angles without being noticed, he always found the right spots. When we went to review our wedding photos, we had a last minute special request and he delivered. Our Wedding photos blew us away. We had no words. The quality was over the top. We still struggle with figuring out which photo is our favourite. He captured every moment we hoped for yet most importantly our feelings and true selves. We also ordered our wedding album through Sean and can simply say it’s a master piece. It is something we proudly show everyone that comes into our home. Throughout the whole process Sean continually communicated with us and made sure we knew what was happening with our photos and album. We were never left in the dark and wondering what was happening. He would go over the top and even create a video showing us his progress and accommodated us by mailing our canvases and album since we live 6 hours away. The moment our wedding album came in, it was like a bitter sweet moment, excitement to relive our special day yet sadness that we now have our last piece of our wedding. We had an engagement session with Ted in Vancouver, BC and he was awesome! The weather on our scheduled day turned out to be quite gloomy but we managed to get in some amazing shots during the "golden hour" before it started to rain. Ted did such an amazing job with both our engagement session and our wedding photos. I was really worried about not being able to open up to the camera, and that our pictures would look awkward. Ted really helped with coaching us to be more comfortable with being photographed. On our wedding day, unfortunately it rained the whole day, and was very wet during our couples session. This is any bride's worse fear, but Ted helped to make the most of it.
